“Super” Sean was just minding his own business with The Coldest on the Planet had to get all heated about who the Number One WWE ID Prospect is. Is Evolve about to enter the Ice Age? Or will Sean cause Ice to have a meltdown?

The bell rings and the two tie up. The fans cheer as the two go around, then Ice headlocks. Sean powers his way out to a headlock of his own and the fans applaud. Sean grinds Ice, Ice endures and powers Sean to ropes. The ref counts, Ice shoves Sean as he lets off, and he eggs Sean on. Sean brushes that off, the two circle, and they knuckle lock. Then Ice reaches back to pull hair! Ice wrangles Sean to the mat, pushes on the arm, but Sean fights against the wristlock. Sean kips up, wrenches and hammerlocks. Ice moves around, slips through, but Sean puts the hammerlock back on! The fans cheer, but Ice keeps fighting.

Ice turns, Sean wrenches with him to keep the hammerlock! Ice snapmares but Sean rolls with him to keep the hammerlock! Ice goes to the ROPEBREAK, the ref counts, and Sean lets go slowly. But Ice ELBOWS him! Ice LARIATS and he wags his finger. Ice bumps Sean off buckles, then CHOPS! Ice storms up on Sean, CHOPS him in the corner, and the fans “WOO~!” The fans rally for Sean as Ice pie faces him. Ice CLUBS Sean, whips him, but Sean sunset flips! Ice stays up, but Sean avoids the fist drop! Sean trips Ice, ties the legs up, and reels Ice into the BOW ‘N’ ARROW! The fans cheer while Ice endures!

Ice pops free, covers, ONE! Sean CHOPS Ice, CHOPS him again, then stalks him to a corner. Sean CHOPS again, then whips corner to corner. Ice reverses, Sean goes up and over, then Sean dodges to waistlock. Ice switches, Sean bucks the O’Conner, but Ice DROPKICKS! The fans rally while Ice talks trash, and Ice rains down fists! The fans boo, Ice backs off, and Ice paces. Ice stalks Sean to a corner, talks more trash, then reels Sean in. But Sean suplexes first! The fans fire up, and Sean KICKS Ice, PENALTY KICKS, then STANDING MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO! Ice bails out but the fans rally behind Sean. Sean aims, and PLANCHAS!

The fans fire up as Sean knocks Ice down! Sean huffs ‘n’ puffs and drags Ice up, but Evolve goes to break.

Evolve returns, and Ice POSTS Sean! Ice refreshes the count, then lines up a shot, BLINDSIDE FLYING LARIAT! Ice says he’s the Coldest on the Planet for a reason! Ice drags Sean up, puts him back in the ring, and slides in at 5 of 10. Cover, TWO! Ice clamps onto Sean with a bully choke! Sean endures, fights around, and Sean fires body shots. The fans rally as Sean fires more shots, then ROCKS Ice! And ROCKS him again! Sean SWATS a lariat, KICKS, KICKS, and BOOTS, to then GERMAN SUPLEX! Ice flounders, Sean goes to the apron, and Sean springboards to MISSILE DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Ice survives but the fans rally for Sean.

Ice goes to ropes but Sean grabs a leg. Ice kicks Sean away, hurries to his feet, but Sean is back with a waistlock! Ice holds the ropes, Sean SLAPS the arms away, and then torture racks! SHAM- NO, Ice lands out to suplex, ANARCHY! Cover, TWO! Sean survives but Ice seethes. The fans rally up, Ice goes to a corner, and Ice tunes up the band! Ice aims for the SWEET- NO, Sean blocks and trips Ice! Ice flails, but ends up in the STF! Ice reaches out, the fans chant “TAP! TAP! TAP!” Ice powers his way around, but Sean drags him back! Ice BOOTS Sean away, runs up, but Sean ELBOWS him! QUEBRADA, into the SAVING GRACE!! Cover, TWO!!

Ice survives but Sean hurries right to the apron! Springboard and 450 FLOP! Ice goes up, and another BLINDSIDE FLYING LARIAT! Then the ICE BREAKER SUPERKICK! Cover, TWO?!? Sean survives and Ice is shocked! Ice hears the fans chant for “LEGACY! LEGACY!” Ice hurries to the corner and he climbs up top. Sean rises, and he SHORYUKENS! Sean climbs up, brings Ice up, but Ice fires body shots! Ice CLUBS Sean, SHOVES him, but Sean backflips through! And he’s right back up! SUPER SPANISH FLY! Sean hurries to the apron, springboard, 450 SPLASH! Cover, TWO!?! Ice survives and now Sean is beside himself!

The fans rally up as both men slowly rise. Sean hauls Ice up, waistlocks, but Ice fires elbows! Ice runs to the ropes to THROW Sean out! But Sean is up to ENZIGIRI! Sean aims again, springboard and- NO, Ice trips him up! The ref reprimands but Ice hits the ICE BREAKER!! Sean flops down, Ice goes up, but Sean dodges the lariat! SHOTGUN! Ice hits the corner, Sean GAMANGIRIS! Then the torture rack! SHAMBLES!! Cover, Legacy wins!

Winner: Sean Legacy, by pinfall

Ice got hot, but he couldn’t end Sean’s legacy! Could Sean really be the top WWE ID Prospect? Chuey Martinez is ringside to interview Sean. He congratulates Sean on the big win to get back on track, and he already has an idea what’s next. Sean says it is a bit obvious, but it might not be what you think. The WWE Evolve Championship is the goal, but he had tunnel vision and that was unacceptable. Right now, Sean just wants to win, get his mind and body right, so that when the time comes, he’ll be standing across the ring from either Jackson Drake, or whoever Stevie Turner deems the new #1 contender.

But wait! Edris Enofe interrupts! The fans boo but the EOE says, “Aw, Sean. Sean. I’m so proud of you, Sean. I’m so proud. You’re showing real growth. Real growth. And that’s… That’s a big sign of maturity. And in fact, I actually agree with you. I agree on the fact that… you ain’t ready to carry that Evolve Championship! Let alone carry this Evolve brand! MY brand! The EOE’s brand! So, please, please, allow moi, that’s French for ‘me,’ to give you some advice. Once Mrs. Prime Minister, Stevie Turner, announces me as the new number one contender, I want you, Mr. Legacy, I want you to watch me as I do what your sorry ass couldn’t do, and that is defeat Mr. Jackson Drake, and become the NEW Evolve Champion!”

Sean says he “appreciates” Edris interrupting, it means so much to him. He also “appreciates” the advice, so Sean will give some back. When Stevie Turner names the new #1 contender and it’s not Edris, go ahead and make up excuses as to why you couldn’t get the job done again. Edris twitches, then he shoves Sean! Sean shoves back! Security and other Evolve stars rush out here, but will we see Super Sean and The Epitome of Excellence prove their worth in the ring?

Kylie Rae speaks.

“Chantel Monroe, we could not be anymore different. Me? I like to try to stay positive, happy, smiley. You? You’re negative, conceited, selfish, and while you took a shortcut against me, I was not about to let you take a shortcut to become Evolve Women’s Champion. That’s something you’ll have to do with just your own talents. And while you have a lot of talent, in no way were you going to become champion before me. But until then, I have a match with a woman who has the purest heart. Someone frankly I’m honored to share the ring with: Masyn Holiday. Wish me luck!” Smiley Kylie is ready, but will she end up Masyn’s next masterpiece on the mat?

The Vanity Project talks backstage.

While the others are having their own conversations, Jackson Drake sarcastically interrupts with, “Oh my gosh, the Great Depression? That’s so exciting, let’s talk about it! Zayda, what’re we? A history class right now? Let’s talk about right here, right now. I’ve been the Evolve Champion for what? Like 100 days or something? And what’s the thank you I get? ‘Thank you, Jackson, we appreciate you so much, you get to find out who your next opponent is along with the rest of the WWE Universe?’ What the hell is even that? Listen, all I’m saying is, Stevie could have a tad bit more respect for THE Evolve Champion. Is that not a valid crash out?”

Brad Baylor says hundos, that is valid. Ricky Smokes adds that it is so wrong how they’re trying to big dog THE big dog here. Maybe they can figure it out for him? Maybe it’ll be… Smokes strikes a pose to mock the EOE, Edris Enofe. That was a good one. Brad says Edris doesn’t even know what EOE means. Who would Stevie really land on for Jackson? Brad mocks Dante Chen’s pose now, and Smokes says that’s hilarious, bro. Bryce Donovan says it obviously has to be Keanu, so let’s just get ready now. Wow, he’s gonna say that name right now? Kali Armstrong walks by and asks if the champ is feeling alright.

Yes, he’s perfectly fine. Is he? Because he’s looking a bit stressed to her. And they both won their titles around the same time, but the question is: Who’s gonna be the first to lose theirs? Zayda says it’s simple, it won’t be Jackson. Kali says this title ain’t coming off her should any time soon. But your boy, Drake, here… It all depends on who Stevie selects, huh? If she were him, she’d watch herself. Kali heads out, Vanity Project grumbles and Drake says he can’t stand any of this! Who does she think she is talking to him like that? But will the Difference Maker have a point about the Carolina Reaper’s meltdown?

Kylie Rae VS Masyn Holiday w/ Layla Diggs!

Smiley Kylie has been on a roller coaster in Evolve, but she keeps her head up as she keeps on fighting. Masyn feels the same, and is hungry for competition. But is going after the experienced veteran and the inaugural WWE ID Women’s Champion a project too big to handle? Or will Kylie’s bright smile be just the thing for this masterpiece?

The bell rings and the two smile and shake hands. The fans applaud the sportsmanship, and the two tie up. Kylie wrenches, wristlocks, and puts on the pressure, but Masyn spins through to go to the ropes. Masyn uses them to flip through, then she wrenches Kylie in return. Masyn puts on the pressure, but Kylie rolls, spins, and handsprings up. Kylie wrenches, hammerlocks, and the fans rally. Masyn reaches back, slips through, and fireman’s carry for the takeover. Masyn keeps on the arm, Kylie fights around, and she rises up. Masyn arm-drags Kylie, Kylie arm-drags back, and Kylie has the armlock!

The fans applaud and Kylie smiles as she grinds the shoulder. Masyn endures, fights up, but Kylie hammerlocks then headlocks. The fans applaud again, but Masyn powers up and out. Kylie RUNS Masyn over, then keeps moving. Kylie jumps the dropdown, ducks the hurdle, then O’Conner Rolls! TWO and Kylie rebounds to jackknife bridge! ONE, but Kylie hurries to arm-drag Masyn! Masyn goes to a corner and Kylie waves. Layla coaches Masyn up and Masyn shakes out her arm. They reset, tie up, and are in a deadlock. Kylie headlocks, Masyn powers up and out, but Kylie ducks the lariat! But Masyn RUNS Kylie over!

Masyn gives a “stompy” just to tease Kylie, then she runs. Kylie stays low, but Masyn hurdles again, and CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! The fans cheer, Masyn clamps onto Kylie’s arm, but Kylie fights up. Masyn whips Kylie to a corner, runs up, but Kylie slips outside. Kylie RAMS Masyn, climbs up, and FLYING ARM-DRAGS! Kylie runs in at the corner to UPPERCUT! Kylie sits Masyn down, then runs back in, CANNONBALL! Cover, TWO! Masyn survives and Kylie is a touch annoyed, but she focuses. Kylie clamps onto Masyn with a chinlock, and the fans rally as Masyn endures. Masyn fights up, but Kylie CLUBS her on the back!

Kylie whips Masyn to a corner, then runs in, but Masyn blocks the monkey flip! Masyn puts Kylie up top, Kylie kicks her away, but Masyn YANKS Kylie down! Cover, TWO! Kylie flounders back to the corner but Masyn fires up! Masyn runs in and BACK BODY BLOCKS! Then she scoops for a SLAM! Masyn gets crunk for the SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Kylie survives but Layla coaches Masyn to keep going. Masyn grabs a leg, she turns Kylie over, and the fans rally up. Kyile endures, rolls, and kicks Masyn down! Both women rise up, Kylie ROCKS Masyn, then ROCKS her again! Kylie whips, Masyn hurdles, but Kylie LARIATS on the return!

Kylie LARIATS again, and Kylie fires up! The fans cheer, Kylie whips, but Masyn reverses! Kylie hits the arm-drag, then handsprings, SKY DAY SPECIAL! The fans fire up while Kylie fires up again. Kylie runs to go up, up, and MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Masyn survives and Kylie is stunned! Kylie runs in at the corner, but Masyn bails out! Kylie stops short, builds speed again, but Masyn slides in! Kylie is annoyed and she hurries back in, but Masyn rolls her up! TWO, and Kylie storms up on Masyn. Masyn BOOTS Kylie, then sunset flips! TWO, Kylie high stacks, TWO! Both women stand, Masyn fireman’s carries, but Kylie silpis free!

Masyn pushed Kylie, but Kylie still came out on top! Kylie still shows Masyn respect by offering a handshake, and Masyn accepts. Will Masyn still need to sharpen her skills to reach that master level? Will Smiley Kylie make her way to the top of Evolve soon enough?

Backstage interview with Jax Presley & Harley Riggins.

Chuey Martinez is with “Space Cowboy Jax” and “Gnarly Harley” ahead of their Evolve debut. And Chuey knows they’ve got a tough first match taking on Adrenaline Drip. Harley says, “Tough? Why? Cuz they flip and fly around? They might make some highlight reels and they might get some crowd cheers, but…” Jax says, “We don’t care about that. That stuff might’ve worked on the indies, but this ain’t the indies, this is Evolve. What you’re looking at here are two blue chip athletes.” They have the size, strength, and are built for domination. They are the next step in professional wrestling. Harley says at least Adrenaline Drip will have some claim to fame.

Jax asks why, and Harley says it’s because Adrenaline Drip are the first victims of Presley & Riggins. That will be fact! Presley & Riggins dap it up and fire up, but will they really be the ones to redefine wrestling? Or are they not ready to Evolve just yet?

Tate Wilder talks with Drako Knox backstage.

The Modern Day Cowboy complains that Ridge Holland keeps ducking him! Knox says Ridge is a beast for beating Sean Legacy last week. Tate says that’s why he wants to face him! So he can get his ass beat? No, dude! So Tate can prove he has what it takes to be a WWE superstar. Knox says he likes that. But what’s Tate gonna do about it? Grandpa Wilder always told Tate, “Keep knocking on that door ’til it breaks down.” Ridge is that door, and Tate is tired of knocking. Yeah, break the door down! If Ridge doesn’t wanna fight, make him fight! Tate says he appreciates Knox. They shake hands and Knox says he’s got Tate’s back.

Tate heads out, but will he kick down that door and finally wrangle the “Steam Pig” into the ring? Or will he regret angering Yorkshire Grit?

Adrenaline Drip VS Jax Presley & Harley Riggins!

Jack Cartwheel & Cappuccino Jones have been in this business long enough to know that there are always those guys who think size is all that matters. Turns out, even guys new to the business think that, such as Jax & Harley. Will these blue chip prospects flex their muscles to a win? Or will they learn that big muscles and big egos just slow you down?

The teams sort out, Cartwheel starts against Riggins. The bell rings and Riggins ROCKS Jack! Then he waistlocks and SLAMS Jack, to STOMP him on the back! Jack snarls, he runs up, swings around, crucifix takedown! TWO, small package, TWO! Jack arm-drags Riggins, then has him on the ropes! Jack eggs Riggins on, Riggins takes his time going around the way, and he tags in Presley. But Jack dodges Jax with a cartwheel! Jax hits buckles, Jack tags Jones! Drop toehold puts Presley on ropes, Jack FLAGPOLE KICKS! Jones adds a LARIAT! Jax is down, Jack SLINGSHOT 450 SPLASHES! Jones covers, TWO!

Jones ROCKS Presley, headlocks, but Presley fires body shots. Presley powers out, Riggins gets a cheap shot! Jones takes a swipe but Riggins gets back. Presley scoops to BACKBREAKER! Jones writhes, Presley kicks him out of the ring, then he DECKS Jack! Jack gets up, but the ref is busy with them as Riggins POSTS Jones! Riggins puts Jones in, Presley LARIATS Jones back down! Cover, TWO! Presley clamps onto Jones with a headlock, brings him over, tag to Riggins. Jones fires body shots but Presley KNEE SMASHES Jones, and Riggins adds as BACKSTABBER! The fans are torn, Riggins covers, TWO!

We see Jamar Hampton & It’s Gal watching this backstage, and Jamar can’t even. What’re they doing? Gal agrees, have these guys even wrestled before? Getting hard to watch. Riggins stomps Jones around and Gal says maybe he and Jamar need to show Adrenaline Drip what a real team looks like. Jamar agrees there. Riggins runs to SENTON onto Jones! Cover, TWO! Jones survives but Riggins clamps on with shoulder claws! The fans rally as Jones endures, but Riggins shifts to a motorcycle stretch! Jones still endures, he fights around, and he rises up. But Riggins CLUBS him in the back! Riggins wrenches, but Jones backslides, ONE!

Riggins grabs a foot, but Jones hops, hops, and reaches out. Riggins CLUBS Jones, but Jones fights the back suplex! Riggins powers through to back suplex, but Jones lands out! Jones ducks ‘n’ dodges, FLAPJACK DROPKICK! Riggins and Jones are down, hot tags to Jax and Jack! Springboard FLYING FOREARM from Jack to Jax! Pretty phenomenal, and Jax staggers into Riggins! Jack LAERIATS Presley, DROPKICKS Riggins, then fires off on Presley! Jack whips, Presley reverses, but Jack goes scarecrow! Jack handsprings through and comes back to SLINGBLADE! The fans fire up and Jack wrenches to knuckle lock.

Jack CHOPS Jax, goes up, and KICKS Riggins away before he FLYING ARM-DRAGS! Jax comes back, but Jack handsprings through the lariat! NECKBREAKER! Cover, ONE!! Presley is tough but Jack fires forearms! Presley shoves Jack away, but Jack RAMS him into the corner! Jones tags in, Adrenaline Drip mugs Presley, but Presley fights free with size! Jones ROCKS Presley, tags back to Jack, and Riggins runs in! HANDPRING KICK from Jack, then Jones LARIATS Riggins out! Jones FLIES! But the big men catch him! Jack builds speed, but they THROW Jones into him! The fans boo but Riggins tags in!

Jack got sacked as these footballers showed they can ball! But is this just the beginning of a win streak? Will Adrenaline Drip be able to turn things around in the future?

Stevie Turner is in the ring.

The fans cheer the Evolve Prime Minister, and she has the mic to say, “Since crowning both our Men’s and Women’s Evolve Champions, both Jackson Drake and Kali Armstrong have proven why they are worthy of becoming our first-ever title holders.” The fans applaud, and Stevie says, “Now, Kali Armstrong, she has successfully defended her Evolve Women’s Championship. But Jackson Drake, he is still looking for a number one contender. And with so many hungry competitors in that locker room, it makes my job as Prime Minister a difficult one. But that is a very, very good problem to have.”

But then she’s interrupted by The Vanity Project. Stevie is annoyed and the fans boo, but Smokes does his corny dance as he, Brad, Zayda, Bryce & Jackson all make their way out here. Smokes has a mic to say, “Hey, Stevie, you really gotta stop stalling already, y’know? Cuz the fact that our boy, Heartbreak Drake, has to find out who his opponent is with the rest of these people, that’s just wrong. And that’s not the Stevie I know.” Brad says, “Stevie, Stevie, Stevie. Why do I feel like you treat Jackson Drake and the rest of The Vanity Project like bench players? Like, be real, though! Be real. We’re the top guys. But more importantly, we’re your top guys.

“I mean, look at Smokes and I. We’re like LeBron James & Steph Curry. And then you go over there, to that kid back there, Jackson Drake. That’s our Patty Mahomes. So why doesn’t The Vanity Project get any special perks?” But KEANU CARVER interrupts! “Man, shut the hell up! Shut up! I’m tired of hearing y’all preppy asses talking. I’m not gonna beg y’all for nothing. Hey, Stevie. You know what I can do, and you know they all scared that I’m gonna be the number one contender, so you tell me what it’s gonna be.” But then BROOKS JENSEN joins in! “Hold on, hold on. Now, Stevie, before you make a big mistake and name him the #1 contender, I’ve gotta tell you something.”

The fans boo but The Lost Cause says the WWE Universe does not like The Vanity Project. But their opinions don'[t matter. Stevie Turner’s opinion matters. And we can see in her eyes that she doesn’t like The Vanity Project, either. We can see she wants a new champion. But this man, Keanu, won’t get the job done. There is one man who can, and that man is the man from Ala-bam-bam- WAIT, now Ridge Holland is here! Ridge loves the fire, but if anyone should be challenging for the title, it should be- TATE WILDER RUSHES RIDGE! They brawl, the fans fire up, and even Jensen cheers! Tate SHOVES Ridge, Ridge TACKLES Tate, and they brawl tot he back!

Drake says hold on, Stevie, let him holler. He understands that everyone and their mama wants a piece of him. That’s how it is when you’re Heartbreak Drake. But he’ll smarten Stevie up to something, “Toots.” He’ll beat anybody he is put in this ring with! Anybody! Bryce says yeah, there he is! There’s Heartbreak Drake! That is the Carolina Reaper! So Stevie, seriously, it doesn’t matter who you pick, cuz like Drake said, he can beat Brooks Jensen, and he can beat Keanu Carver! Drake is a little worried Bryce saying that last part, but Stevie has everyone hold on. This is genius! This is such a good idea! Drake will defend his title, against Keanu! AND Jensen! In a TRIPLE THREAT!

Drake freaks out now that Bryce has put him in this situation. Drake says get ’em, and the Vanity Project rushes Keanu and Jensen for a 4v2 brawl! The fans boo as Swipe Right kicks Jensen out, leaving Drake & Bryce to beat up on Keanu. Swipe Right brings Jensen around to DOUBLE SUPLEX Jensen to the floor! The fans boo, but Swipe Right keeps going! Smokes brings out a TABLE! Brad stomps Jensen, Smokes sets the table up, and Drake digs his boots into Keanu! Brad drags Jensen up, Smokes helps out, but Jensen fights back! He ROCKS Smokes, he ROCKS Brad, and now Keanu has turned things around on Bryce!

Keanu fights back, he TOSSES Bryce out, and he brawls with Drake! Keanu lifts Jackson, and THROWS him out onto everyone else! The fans fire up for Keanu, but Jensen makes sure to drag Drake up. Jensen choke grips, to CHOKE SLAM Drake through the table! The fans fire up as Lost Cause and Alpha Male stand tall, both eyeing the Evolve Championship. Will either of them take that title for their own? Or will Drake avoid his own heartbreak and survive the Triple Threat?

My Thoughts:

A very good Evolve here, but rather surprising Adrenaline Drip lost to Presley & Riggins for all the trash Presley & Riggins talked. Especially when Jamar & Gal talk about a match with Adrenaline Drip, making Jamar & Gal sound like the Heels in the situation. Jamar & Gal VS Adrenaline Drip will still be a great match, but I really thought Jamar was going to bring Gal over to being a Face, not Gal bringing Jamar over to being a Heel. And look, another spear as a finisher, but I guess tackling makes sense for football players.

Great opening match from Legacy VS Ice, but hearing that Ice was dropped from WWE ID (along with Jordan Oasis) kinda put a damper on this. I figured Sean was winning either way, but knowing it was hard to tune out. Still good stuff for Sean, especially in bridging into a feud with Edris. That match will be fun, and either guy could win that. Very good match from Kylie VS Masyn, and good showing from Masyn, even in a loss to Kylie. The only headscratcher is that Kylie still wants after Chantel instead of having more of Masyn & Layla trying to reach Chantel’s “true self.”

The Vanity Project’s dysfunction continues to be great, with the pressure of being champion really getting to Drake, and Bryce masterfully capitalizing on it. Very good promo from everybody at the end there, and Stevie going with the Triple Threat is great. First, it’s only fair as Kali had a Fatal 4 Way. Second, it protects all parties involved, no matter the outcome. At the same time, that brawl to end the show gives us some pretty telling math. Vanity Project was humiliated, Drake was put through the table, but he’s still a favorite to win and retain the title. Keanu is still a possibility, as Jensen is the one who put Drake through the table. But if this is the opening for Keanu to win the title, I hope they take it.
