The fans are thunderous, the ref rings the bell, and NXT is opening with some fireworks! But is someone about to get burned?

Je’Von keeps moving, and he RED DOT ENZIGIRIS! Briggs is down, Je’Von goes up, FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Briggs survives but Je’Von grins. The fans fire up as Je’Von brings Briggs up. Je’Von fires hands, eggs Briggs on, then CHOPS him! The fans “WOO~” and Briggs goes to a corner. Je’Von CHOPS again! Je’Von throws hands, Briggs pushes past, then Briggs blocks a chop! Je’Von fires body shots, but then Briggs lifts Je’Von! Je’Von fights that with fists, gets loose, and he runs, to then duck ‘n’ dodge and RANA! Briggs tumbles, the fans fire up, and Je’Von runs up, BOUNCY~ RANA! Then a DROPKICK! Briggs flops onto ropes and the fans fire up again! Je’Von runs up, but Briggs puts him on the apron! Briggs runs up, but Je’Von DUMPS Briggs out! Je’Von springboards, but Briggs YANKS Je’Von down! Je’Von hits apron face-first! Briggs SMACKS Je’Von off the apron, then glares at the desk. Je’Von is fuming but he’s still focused. Je’Von drags Briggs up, CHOPS him, then pushes him around. Je’Von CHOPS Briggs, Briggs flops, and Je’Von looms over him. Je’Von drags Briggs up to wind up, but Briggs ROCKS him first! Briggs then brings Je’Von around, puts him in the ring, and runs up to ELBOW him down! Je’Von sputters while Briggs seethes. Briggs stomps Je’Von around, whips him to a corner hard, and Je’Von bounces off buckles. Je’Von writhes, but Briggs pushes him to a cover, TWO! Ava Raine mediates a meeting of Oba Femi and Ricky Saints.

The NXT Champion says the only reason last week’s team-up didn’t work is because The Absolute is a hot head. A hot head?! Even though Oba started things? Well, Saints can finish it! Security guards and all! Ava says no, they are NOT doing this here! She called them here to talk about something. Clearly, they have a lot to get off their chests before No Mercy, so next week at NXT: Homecoming, they can air out all the grievances, vent all the frustrations, on the Grayson Waller Effect. Oba sarcastically says fantastic, another arrogant loudmouth. But a knock at the door brings in Trick Williams. Oba says, “Look, another one.”

Trick tells Oba he will skip that. But Trick asks Ms. Ava if the thing they talked about is all good. Before he goes out there to confront DIY, he wants to know they are all good. Ava says yes, it is all fine. Saints asks what is this going on, and Trick says look, dawg, this here is championship business. Saints wouldn’t understand. And just so Oba knows, he and Trick ain’t finished. Trick heads back out, but what does he have planned for confronting Ciampa & Gargano tonight?

DIY is in the ring!

NXT returns as Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa are already waiting, mics in hand. And Ciampa says every time they step foot in an NXT ring, it feels like coming home, it feels special. But tonight is extra special, because on this date, it marks TEN YEARS the very first time they teamed as DIY here in NXT! Thank you all! Gargano says a lot of people forget where they came from. But Gargano’s stood in this ring before and said he is NXT 4 Life, and he meant that! They may be SmackDown stars, but NXT, this place, these people, is always home! And Ciampa will tell us now, his last match in NXT, he always hoped and even knew it wouldn’t actually be his last in NXT.

That brings us to tonight! Last week, “The Greatest NXT Superstar-” Oh, Trick even interrupts. The #TrickNA Champion has them cut the music, and he says yes, THE Greatest NXT Superstar of All Time has finally arrived. Now, he ain’t gonna lie, last week, the two of them got the best of him 2v1. That is true. But one thing y’all forgot to mention, what they forgot to say, is that all that went down was cuz DIY is jealous! And they’re jealous cuz DIY’s “NXT Crew” can’t hang with Trick’s NXT Crew! The fans are torn, and Gargano has an idea. Trick can get in the ring like last week, and DIY will remind him what they did for NXT.

Trick says he will, but this time… He ain’t alone! Trick has H1M! Carmelo Hayes returns to NXT and the fans fire up as #TrickMeloGang has their reunion! Melo joins Trick in the ring, and they stare DIY down. Melo has the fans calm down, and then he looks at Trick…? DIY gives them space while fans chant, “HUG IT OUT! HUG IT OUT!” Melo puts his sunglasses aside so he can tell Trick, “Since I left, you said a lot of things that’re true, but you’ve also said a lot of things that aren’t true. Just last week, I heard you talking about, ‘This is MY house! Trick Willy lives here!’ Funny you say that, because you say that with two guys who built this house.”

The fans applaud, and Melo says Trick said all that in the ring with someone “who put renovations on this house.” And Trick, looking at him, TNA World Champion, congratulations. But all Trick is doing is squatting in OUR house! And Melo came here to remind Trick that rent is due! The fans chant, “You’re a Squatter!” Trick frowns, and Ciampa says that’s for Trick. Trick wants to talk but Melo says he’s been gone from NXT for 18 months, he’ll say what he has to say. Trick won’t run over Melo!

So Trick, next time you stand in the ring with greats from like Gargano, Ciampa, and Melo, you take your high heels off, leave them at the door, sit down, and do not touch anything! And you stay quite while OGs is talking! The fans love it! Gargano says this is like Stand & Deliver all over again! Trick says no, no, it ain’t going down like that. He knows Melo is upset. They have history, they’ve been through a lot, and then there’s everything since Melo left. But the truth is, Trick was talking trash, that’s right. Trick was saying things even last week, and that wasn’t right. The fans applaud Trick admitting to that.

But then Trick says, “But don’t get it twisted! I squat where I want to squat! I wear my heels where I wanna wear my heels! This is still MY house!” Ciampa wants to interrupt. Who is the big brother and who is the little brother here? Just asking. Melo says hold the hell up. Shut your mouths, this is beef between Melo and his brother. And now that he thinks about it… DIY are the last two to be talking! They are the biggest backstabbers in NXT history! Trick says let’s talk about it. Gargano says no, let’s not! Yes, there is a lot of history here, but y’know what people wanna see? Fans chant, “FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!”

Gargano says the fans want two teams from two generations of NXT to have the biggest tag match in NXT history, all at NXT: Homecoming! So how about this? Trick Melo Gang VS D I Y! The challenge has been issued, will TrickNA be able to get along with H1M long enough to have it out with Johnny Wrestling & The Sicilian Psycho?

WWE Women’s Speed Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament: Lainey Reid VS Faby Apache!

NXT’s Southern Sensation and AAA’s Wild Child are both looking for golden opportunities, but three minutes is all they’ve got to steal the spotlight. Will Lainey show her charm, skills and athleticism in that amount of time? Or will Faby be even more fast ‘n’ furious?

Faby spots Natalya in the crowd and they stare down for just a moment. One way or another, Faby and Natty fight this Friday night to be #1 contender to the AAA Reina De Reinas (Queen of Queens) Championship. The bell rings on this match and the clock is ticking. Lainey runs up, but Faby DROPKICKS her! The fans cheer Faby and she fires them up more. Faby whips, Lainey reverses, but Faby ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl RANA! Lainey tumbles out, Faby goes to the apron, CANNONBALL! The fans fire up but we’re already 30 seconds in! Faby keeps the fans hot but she has to focus on the mission!

Faby KICKS Lainey in the back, drags her up and into the ring, and Faby hurries in, only for Lainey to KICK from below! Lainey says no one is stopping her! They knuckle lock, we get the orange phase as we hit one minute. Faby trips Lainey, Lainey monkey flips, but Faby blocks it part way! They teeter back the other way, and yet Lainey LAUNCHES herself into the sunset flip! TWO!! Faby escapes, then she wrenches to backslide! With bridge! TWO, and Lainey has the sunset! TWO, and Faby is up! Lainey runs up, Faby dodges, and she hits an EDGE-O-MATIC! The fans fire up but we’re at 90 seconds!

Faby runs corner to corner, but Lainey dodges! Faby hits buckles, Lainey runs up, but Faby BOOTS her down! Cover, TWO! Lainey survives and Faby is upset. Natty is not impressed either way as Faby underhooks. Lainey wrenches out, Faby blocks one kick but not the second SUPERKICK! We hit the last minute red phase, Lainey covers, TWO! Faby is still in this but Lainey is right on her! Lainey scoops but Faby slips free to waistlock. GERMAN SUPLEX! Bringing cover, TWO!! The fans fire up as Faby hurries up the corner! Zaria just wants to know, where would Sol even put a third title? Well… She can still do the sash mode, and then one around the waist. Or do like, a stack of all three, and just be waring the belts. Zaria says that’s ridiculous, but honestly, she’d love it. She needs this win tonight, she needs to go to Homecoming, and she needs to be a champion. Sol says she will, relax. But then in step Hank ‘n’ Tank, and they say they’re checking in on their favorite tag team. ZaRuca says right back at ya, favorite tag team. They all put on sunglasses, and Sol asks how the boys are feeling. Tank says their bellies are full of big, beefy butterflies.

But isn’t it about time ZaRuca gets tag team gold? Oh, certainly. But Hank ‘n’ Tank can do that first, then they’ll follow in the wake. Yes, they surprised DarkState with their secret weapon last week, but they’ll just surprise ’em again tonight when they win back the tag team titles! Smell that? Vanilla? Cinnamon? No, smells like victory! And a HONK HONK! The Big Belly Bandits head out, ZaRuca is pumped up, and they even chest bump! But will everything go their way tonight? Or will someone else be shining in the spotlight?

The numbers game helped these wild dogs take these titles back at Heatwave, but then Joe Hendry helped turn the tides in last week’s 8 Man Tag. But will the Big Belly Bandits make good on this hot rematch? Or will we see that even now, #NoOneIsSafe?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who is truly championship material!

The teams sort out, Tank and Osiris start and they talk a lot of trash. Then Hank and Dion start shouting, and while Osiris shouts back, Tank BLASTS Dion! The fans fire up. Tank dodges Osiris, then Hank tags in as Tank goes up! Tank FLYING SHOULDER TACKLES Osiris! Hank gets in, the fans fire up as we already HONK HONK! BIG BELLY SANDWICH! Scoop and GRIDIRON!! Cover, Dion breaks it! The fans boo but Tank brings Dion around, only for Dion to TOSS him! But then Hank BOOTS Dion! Hank snarls, he fires body shots on Osiris, and then whips, only for Osiris to block! Osiris ROCKS Hank, then whips, and Hank hits buckles hard!

Hank falls back, Osiris tags Dion, and they get Hank up. DOUBLE POWERBOMB! Cover, Tank breaks it! The fans fire up while all four men are down! The teams regroup, the fans rally up, and Tank shouts, “YOU WANNA GO!?” The brawl is on and the fans fire up again! The ref reprimands, but Hank TOSSES Dion! Tank slips around, body scissor takedown to a cover, TWO! Dion whips Tank to ropes, then SPINEBUSTERS! Cover, TWO! Dion snarls, pushes Tank around, then drags him up. Tag to Osiris, DarkState lift Tank for a DOUBLE URENAGE! Osiris covers, TWO! Tank toughs it out and the fans fire up. Osiris clamps on a chinlock and he grinds Tank down. The fans rally, Tank fights up, and Tank fires body shots! But Osiris KNEES low!

Osiris whips, then scoops, then POWERSLAMS! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up but Osiris taunts Tank. Osiris pushes Tank around, the fans rally up, and Tank gets mad. Osiris pie faces Tank, but Tank fires body shots! Tank ROCKS Osiris, reaches out for Hank, but Osiris keeps him back! Tank ROCKS Osiris again and again, reaches out, but Osiris still keeps him back! Osiris ROCKS Tank! Osiris reaches out but now Tank holds him back! They tug-o-war, the fans rally up, and both men ROCK each other! And again, and again! They let go, hot tags to Dion and Hank! Hank whips, then scoops, and he SLAMS Dion! Hank storms around, the fans fire up, and Hank revs up that belly, for the SPLASH! Hank makes sure to BACK BODY BLOCK Osiris, then he BULLDOGS Osiris onto Dion! The fans fire up, Hank Alabama Lifts, and he swings Dion into a FLATLINER! Cover, TWO!! Dion survives and Hank snarls, but the fans continue to rally. Hank puts Dion in the corner, then puts him up top. Tank tags in as Hank climbs! Tank goes to the other corner, the fans rally up, SUPERPLEX for the Power! SWANTON for the Glory! Cover, TWO!!! Dion survives and the fans can’t believe it!

Tank tags Hank, they just go right to the corners! HONK- NO, Saquon distracts! Tank runs up on him, but that lets Cutler trip Hank! Osiris gets back in, he fires off on Tank! Cutler says Joe Hendry ain’t coming tonight! But say his name and he appears! NXT believes in Joe Hendry, and he BUSTS OUT THROUGH THE WALL! Is Joe Hendry the Kool-Aid man?! Cutler is shocked either way, and Hendry chases him off! But that’s just more chaos! Hank dodges Dion, O’Conner Rolls, but Osiris tips it! Cover, DARKSTATE WINS!!

By the literal seat of Hank’s pants, Dion & Osiris snatch this one away! Hank ‘n’ Tank don’t blame Joe, DarkState is just too crafty. But then, who can ever hope to take these titles when the numbers are always in DarkState’s favor?

It’s been a minute, but they remind us, “Always watching. Decided to post this one.” Ethan Page was talking to Myles while going over last week’s Blindfold match where Lexis King cheated him. Ethan said Myles can keep doing what he’s doing, and end up a loser. Or he can do what Ethan does, and what Trick does, and what Oba does, and only worry about yourself, which means you win. It’s all up to Myles. Will Myles listen to All Ego? Or will he listen to his own heart?

The Drama King doesn’t know who NXT Anonymous thinks they are, but he admits, that’s some good footage. And also some good advice from Ethan, actually. But Charlie Dempsey knows all too well that Myles doesn’t take advice, huh? Everything Charlie told Myles probably went in one bad ear and out the other. Charlie says he is afraid Myles doesn’t get the privilege of his advice anymore. Worse yet, he lost a match to “a blind man.” So embarrassing! If that were Lexis, he wouldn’t be able to show his face in NXT ever again. Myles has to live with that for the rest of- Myles storms in, chair in hand! And Myles says, “You thought we were through, Lexis?!”

Myles turns off the lights?! And in the dark, someone gets hit! The lights come back on, Myles is standing over Lexis, and he tells Lexis that Myles is NOT done with him! Myles leaves, will the Drama King regret ever being a bully?

Things have really escalated from just being an Egomaniac and an American Olympian battling it out in the ring. With the Canadian Maple Leaf and the Star-Spangled Banner up in the corners, only the man who can retrieve their country’s banner will be deemed the winner. Other than that, there are no count outs and no disqualifications! Who truly proves themselves the standard of excellence when it comes to North American athleticism?

NXT returns and Ethan makes his entrance. Ethan then throws his jacket at Tavion before running to the corner! The bell rings, Tavion drags Ethan down, and then Tavion SHOVES Ethan! The fans cheer for “U S A! U S A!” as Tavion leaps, but Ethan catches him now! Ethan RAMS Tavion into the Canadian corner, fires hands, then climbs up! Tavion drags Ethan back down and Ethan hits off buckles! Tavion fires haymakers, then whips. Ethan ducks ‘n’ dodges and slides out! But Tavion drags Ethan up! Ethan trips Tavion, drags him out, and RAMS him into the apron! The fans boo but Ethan hurries for the apron.

Tavion drags Ethan down to SLAM him on the apron! The fans rally, Tavion goes around the way to the US corner, and Tavion climbs. Ethan is up, so Tavion makes sure to SPEAR him out to the floor! The fans go nuts, the ref checks both men, and somehow they’re both okay! Tavion rises up, dares Ethan to talk trash, and Tavion rains down fists! The fans rally, Tavion puts Ethan in the ring, then he runs to SLINGBLADE! The fans fire up for Tavion and “U S A! U S A!” Tavion stomps Ethan, goes to the corner, and climbs. Ethan climbs up higher but Tavion fires more elbows. Ethan hops down with Tavion’s arm, to YANK him into a CONFIDENCE BREAKER! Both men are down and the fans rally up! Tavion and Ethan crawl for their corners, the fans rally up more, and both men use the ropes to stand up. Ethan looks to the Canadian flag, but then to Tavion. Ethan decides to run up on Tavion! But Tavion dodges, Ethan POSTS himself! Ethan flops to the apron then the floor and Tavion climbs!

Tavion reaches up, but Ethan SHOVES him down! Tavion hits the ground, but then Ethan RAMS Tavion into the steel steps! The fans fire up, Ethan crawls up the steps, and Ethan crawls along the apron. Ethan climbs the corner, reaches up, but Tavion is back! Tavion climbs up, CLUBS Ethan, and YANKS Ethan down! Ethan lands on his ego! Ethan coughs and sputters as he drags himself back up, but Tavion is right back after him! SUPER BELLY2BELLY! The fans fire up for Tavion as he crawls for the US corner! Tavion climbs up, reaches out, and he pulls out Old Glory! Tavion wins!

The fans cheer as Tavion waves the stars ‘n’ stripes! Tavion takes the Canadian flag down to hold America’s higher! He then drapes the Canadian flag over Ethan, payback for weeks ago. But wait, is that TYLER BREEZE? What is Prince Pretty doing here?! The NXT alumni continue to return, and Tyler uses his selfie stick to pose with Ethan on the mat! Will Tyler have his own argument as to why Ethan is not the greatest North American wrestler ever?

Lola Vice shares more about her life.

Continuing from last week, she tells us that growing up Latina, there is never time for self-pity. She was in an all-girl Catholic school and super shy, which is crazy considering who she is now. Growing up, she didn’t have a lot of friends, so her close relationships are so special. Everything she does is intentional, and her only focus has ever been giving herself the life and future she’s always wanted. She’s about to visit her dad at his Tae Kwan Do school, which he has had for over 30 YEARS. She is so excited to see him and return to her routes. Lola surprises the class in session, and she bows to “Grandmaster Frank.”

They hug, and dad says she looks ready to battle! Frank Loureda is so proud of Lola Vice, the brightest star in the family and the Miami martial arts community. Lola says her dad has dedicated his life to martial arts and this school. She wasn’t just born into it, she was bred for it. Literally everyone in the family has blackbelts and college degrees, which is why she’s so ambitious to make the sacrifices worth it. Sister Natalie says Lola is a best friend and training partner in one, there’s no one she’d rather have. And she’s so honored to have witnessed all of Lola’s highlights live and in person, including all her knockouts and victory dances.

Lola says that dance she does wasn’t just disrespect, but maybe some pettiness. Because when you spend your whole life proving people wrong, you celebrate it. No one knew what to think of her in MMA being she’s the girly girl in pink and fancy hair and dances. They thought she was just a pretty face, and they made fun of her for it, until she knocked them out. So at No Mercy, it isn’t just a match, but a fight for her family, her culture, and anyone who has been underestimated, but also for herself. She’s a champion in her family’s eyes, and now the world is catching up. They can’t wait to see Lola knock out Jacy Jayne.

Lola is so close to winning a title down the street from where she grew up. This isn’t just a title fight, this is HER moment! Master Lola is going to be the real deal! Because once they win tonight, they’ll win the tag titles off Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, and Fatal Influence will be draped in gold! And then, they’ll be untouchable! Who would’ve thought five months ago that Fatal Influence would be THE Women’s Tag Team Champions while Jacy is the greatest NXT Women’s Champion of all time? No one responds.

Jacy sees Jazmyn double checking her makeup, and Jacy suggests more Colossal Lashes. Jazmyn touches up, then heads out. But are things about to get real ugly out there in the Triple Threat Elimination Tag match?

While there has been dysfunction in the Influence, they say winning fixes all problems. So then, will the Toxic Cowgirl & Toxic Sidekick patch things up with some golden tickets? Or will another team be stealing the spotlight with #Charlexa at NXT: Homecoming?

NXT returns as The Influence joins the other teams in the ring. In this form of Triple Threat, each team has one member legal at a time, so we get Tatum, Jazmyn and Zaria to start. The bell rings, Tatum and Jazmyn rush Zaria! They kick low, CLOB and SWEEP to then SWITCH KICK! They both BOOT Zaria out, taunt her muscles, and then Tatum rolls Jazmyn up! TWO, Jazmyn has the cover, TWO! Jazmyn jackknife bridges, TWO as Tatum bridges up! Tatum spins things around, backslides, TWO! Jazmyn staggers up, she and Tatum stagger into each other, and Zaria DOUBLE LARIATS! Zaria BOOTS Jazmyn, BACKDROPS Tatum, and the fans fire up!

Zaria runs up on Nyx, Nyx dodges, but Zaria BOOTS her! Zaria goes up, Tatum tags Izzi, and Zaria drags Jazmyn up with a HANGING SLEEPER! Izzi tells Tatum to wait, Elimination means they can let one take out the other. Zaria lets Jazmyn go, then Tatum is unleashed! She CROSSBODIES Zaria and Jazmyn in the corner! Then Izzi runs up to RAM Zaria! Fallon tag sin, she jumps on Izzi for a SLEEPER! Izzi flails while Fallon shrieks, but Izzi RAMS Fallon into Zaria! Izzi then whips Fallon, but Fallon reverses, only for Izzi to kick low. Izzi then reels Fallon in, lifts, but Fallon RANAS Izzi away! Fallon then body scissors rolls, TWO!

Izzi DECKS Fallon, then stares down with Zaria. The fans fire up for these female titans and the two start throwing hands! The fans fire up more, then Izzi and Zaria DOUBLE HEADBUTT! Both women stagger, but Izzi rebounds to BOOT! Zaria rebounds to BOOT in return! Things speed up, and DOUBLE LARIATS take both women down! The fans fire up again, Izzi and Zaria grab each other by the hair, but Fallon DOUBLE CROSSBODIES! Tag to Jazmyn, Fallon sends her in, and she SWEEPS Izzi’s legs! Fallon runs up to BASEMENT FOREARM! Zaria is up, Influence dodges, and Fallon anchors a leg for Jazmyn’s FLYING CHUCK! Cover, TWO!

Jazmyn is frustrated, but then Izzi DECKS her! Fallon tags in, she runs, but Izzi scoops! Sol tags in, she springboards to MISSILE DROPKICK them both! The fans fire up and Tatum tags in. Sol trips Tatum, handsprings, but Nyx tags in. Solo picks her up, swings her into Tatum, then SLAMS her on Tatum! The fans fire up as Sol uses both Tatum and Nyx to surf! Then she DOUBLE SHOTGUN DROPKICKS! They both tumble away, Fallon tags in. Sol TOSSES Tatum, then builds speed, but Fallon trips her! Fallon drags Sol out, ROCKS her, and Jacy cheers. Fallon runs into the ring, goes up, up, and CROSSBOIDES onto Niko Vance?!

The fans boo as The Culling is in full now, with Shawn Spears distracting everyone else on the apron! Izzi BOOTS Fallon, Zaria BOOTS Spears! Then Zaria FLYING SPEARS The Chair Man down! Izzi freaks out, and Nyx WRECKS Izzi with a dropkick! But Tatum ENZIGIRIS Nyx! Sol SKY TWISTERS onto The Culling! And sticks the landing! The fans are thunderous as ZaRuca gets a wave going, and NXT goes to break.

NXT returns again and the wave continues while Sol, Izzi and Fallon are all down. They all rise up, and Izzi ROCKS Sol! Fallon ROCKS Izzi! Sol ROUNDHOUSES Fallon! And then the forearms keep going around and around! Fallon fires off on everyone, even sucker punches Tatum, but Sol SUPERKICKS Fallon! The fans cheer for “Women’s Wrestling!” as Izzi whips Sol up and out! Sol ROUNDHOUSES Izzi away, then springboards, but Nyx trips her up by shaking the ropes! Sol tumbles, but Zaria runs up on Nyx! Nyx dodges, Jacy SUPERKICKS! The fans boo as the Influence sends Zaria into steel steps!

Fallon dodges Izzi in the corner, goes up, and Nyx tags in! BLOCKBUSTER for Izzi! Sol ROCKS and CHOPS the Influence, but they double kick! Then they DOUBLE FLAPJACK Sol onto Izzi! Cover on Sol, TWO! Cover on Izzi, TWO! Nyx is frustrated, she stomps them both, then she reels Sol in. FISHERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Not quite perfect, and Sol wrenches to ROUNDHOUSE! Then Sol whips Nyx to a corner, runs up, but is put on the apron! Sol ROCKS Nyx first, then goes up, only for Nyx to GAMANGIRI! Nyx goes up, Izzi stands, and Izzi gets under Nyx! Sol fights free, and this becomes a DOOMSDAY BLOCKBUSTER!

The fans are thunderous as all three women are down again! They cheer on “NXT! NXT!” for making this main event! All three crawl, and they all hot tag! Zaria rushes in, she ELBOWS Tatum, then HEADBUTTS Fallon! BOOT for Tatum! GERMAN SUPLEX for Fallon! Then GERMAN SUPLEX for Tatum! Nyx tags in, dodges, but jumps into Zaria’s SPIN OUT SAIDO! Then Zaria has Tatum for the OVER-BOMB!! Cover, IZZI BREAKS IT! The fans rally, Sol gets in, and now ZaRuca stares down #Tizzi. They run, and they DOUBLE SPEAR!! The fans fire up for ZaRuca, but here comes the Influence! Sol dodges Nyx, Zaria fireman’s carries, and sol SUPERKICKS Fallon!

Sol has a shot, she runs to the corner for Tatum, but Fallon shoves Zaria in the way! SOUL SNATCHER ON ZARIA!! The fans go nuts over the accident, and Fallon CLOBBERS Sol! Nyx covers Zaria, they ELIMINATE ZaRuca!! Jacy is loving this as her girls are one step away from victory! But then Tatum goes up, MISSILE DROPKICK on Fallon! Nyx panics, she turns around, Izzi FLYING CODE BREAKERS!! Tatum covers, TWO!! Izzi and Tatum hurry, full nelson and- NO, Fallon trips Izzi! And DECKS her! Tatum runs, Nyx slips around, but Tatum switches. O’Conner Roll, TWO! JACY SUCKER PUNCHES TATUM!! Cover, TWO!!!

The fans are going nuts and Jacy is beside herself! “This is Awesome!” as Fallon tags back in. She has Tatum, CATAPULT NYX KICK!! Cover, IZZI BREAKS IT! Nyx CLOBBERS Izzi and rains down fists! They scrap all the way out of the ring! Izzi APRON CHOKE SLAMS Nyx! But Fallon YEEHAW SWING KICKS Izzi down! Fallon climbs up, up, and Tatum GAMANGIRIS! Fallon flops down, Tatum fires up, and Tatum climbs! The fans fire up for Tatum’s 450- NO, Fallon moves! Tatum rolls through the landing, comes back, but Fallon dodges! Fallon kicks, runs, and YEE- NO, Tatum dodges to CLUB Fallon!

Izzi tags, Tatum shoves Fallon, and then Tatum hooks Fallon up! BOOT into the CEMETERY DRIVE!! And then the SPIKE!! Cover, TIZZI WINS!!

Jacy is beside herself! Just as it looked like we’d all be under the Influence, The Culling pulls victory from the jaws of defeat! While Shawn Spears & Niko Vance celebrate with Tatum & Izzi, Jacy shouts, “I don’t care which one of you dropped the ball, you BOTH failed me! I’m the NXT Women’s Champion, I run this division, and this is what you two do?! You embarrass me?! How dare you?! I run this division! This is about ME!” But wait, who is this pulling up to the arena this late in the night? Two cares at that! Are we getting another surprise return from some NXT alumni?

NXT returns and…

Jacy paces angrily as she says no, there is absolutely NO way Fatal Influence misses out on Homecoming! And as for Fallon & Jazmyn failing, that’s on them, not her! She is not here to be anyone’s babysitter! And honestly, she is sick and tired of carrying this group on her back! And the lack of credit she gets for all that she’s done is PATHETIC! She didn’t get to where she is today because of any of the fans! And unlike every other woman in the WWE, she does NOT need the fans’ applause, and damn sure doesn’t need their respect! The only person she’s ever needed is HERSELF! Jacy is the greatest NXT Women’s Champion of all time! YES! That’s right, whether you like it or not!

Jacy won the TNA Knockouts Championship on her first- WAIT! STEPHANIE VAQUER is back! The first Double Champion in the NXT Women’s Division is here to tell Jacy, “I will give you credit, because you beat me for the NXT Women’s Championship. I know. But I had the NXT Women’s Championship AND NXT Women’s North American Championship at the same time. And I did it all by myself.” The fans cheer that! And y’know what? At WrestlePalooza, Vaquer will become champion again, so she has to disagree with Jacy. Jacy says, “Hey, Steph, good to see ya. Y’know, the way I see it, there’s three of us and only one of you. And we know how that goes.”

Steph tells Jacy to callete, and she has a question. Does Jacy know what time it is? “It’s Tiffy Time~!” THE WWE WOMEN’S CHAMPION IS HERE! The fans go nuts as the Wrestling Barbie returns to NXT! Tiff asks NXT, “What time is it?” “TIFFY TIME~!” It feels so good to be home! And Jacy, hi! Last time Tiff checked, she’s THE WWE Women’s Champion. The longest reigning champion as of right now, even. She beat Charlotte Flair, Trish Stratus, Jade Cargill, the list goes on and on. And Fallon… Tiff beat you, too. And she’s also had the NXT Women’s Championship, so uh, Jacy calling herself the greatest of all time? Don’t think so.

Jacy says okay, okay, okay. She sees what is going on here. Tiff and Vaquer are the “Super Seniors” that already graduated and want to come back to feel cool again. That’s sad, really. Oof. Tiff asks Steph how “Mami” is gonna feel being called a senior… Wait, what? Steph says yeah, not good. BECAUSE RHEA RIPLEY IS HERE! The fans go even crazier, and Jacy has fear in her eyes as The Eradicator returns to NXT! The fans cheer for “MAMI! MAMI!” while Jacy feebly apologizes for her comments. Rhea says, “The greatest NXT Women’s Champion of all time? Yeah, I don’t think so, Jacy. And if you want so badly to go to Homecoming, well…

“It’s perfect, really. Because there’s three of you, and there is three of us.” The fans love where this is going! Rhea says see you at Full Sail! Then they rush the ring anyway! Rhea HEADBUTTS Jacy, while Tiff DECKS Fallon and Vaquer DECKS Nyx! The fans are thunderous for these “Super Seniors” returning home! The card just got a whole lot bigger, but will Jacy finally learn some humility? Or will even Rhea, Vaquer & Tiff be under the Influence?

My Thoughts:

An awesome NXT, especially as the go-home to what is now a huge Homecoming episode. Je’Von opening things with Briggs was great, they nailed the feeling of it being impromptu. Je’Von also busted out some great acrobatics this time, especially that box jump to the bottom rope. Not even the apron, the bottom rope, so an extra six inches or so. But Briggs was smooth with that necklace move, apparently only Booker T noticed in real-time. Good win for Briggs, though I’m sure we’ll get more from him and Je’Von since Briggs cheated. Good promo from Oba and Saints to set up a Homecoming edition of Grayson Waller Effect, that’ll be the typical talk-show-turned-brawl.

Great Speed match, and Natty distracting Faby is a good way to let Lainey win. I mean, one way or another, the WWE Women’s Speed Championship is going to stay in WWE, so might as well help plug Worlds Collide through this match. Great tag match from Hank ‘n’ Tank VS DarkState, and I loved how Joe Hendry busted through the stunt wall. DarkState retaining was a given, though, but maybe we get Hank, Tank & Joe teaming up against three members of DarkState as to settle things aside from the titles. Very good NXT Anonymous vid promo, and by extension, good promo from Lexis with Charlie. Not sure why Myles needed to turn the lights out, other than they didn’t want us seeing him not hit Lexis with the chair… No DQ match for those two next?

Great promo from DIY with Trick and Melo, and of course Melo was the guy Trick was bringing in. Trick and Melo talking things out a bit was good, especially them getting on the same page when it came to DIY. DIY VS Trick Melo Gang is going to be awesome stuff, and since it’s mostly for the dream match moment, the result could go either way. The Flag Match was… fine… Regardless of how you feel about patriotism, everyone should understand Flag Matches are the least creative match type because all the focus goes to the flagpoles. A NORMAL match would’ve been better between these guys. But hey, Tyler Breeze showing up was awesome, and he clearly wants his shot at the North American title. Ethan VS Tyler will be great stuff, but I would think Ethan wins.

Great promo from Blake Monroe, and I appreciate that there’s just the tiniest bit of continuity kept between NXT Blake Monroe and AEW Mariah May. Blake and Jordynne are going to have an awesome grudge match, but Grace has to win one of these matches, right? Or is this going to be how they send Grace to main roster? Great part two of Lola’s biographical vignettes, and her dad has great energy for pro-wrestling. Good promo from Fatal Influence to respond to that while also plugging their dysfunction AND Maybelline makeup products. Great Triple Threat Tag for the main event, but I’m pretty sure I heard the ref call out the time they had to fill.

ZaRuca losing because of the Soul Snatcher mishap was a smart way of doing that, and that definitely brings us back to a possible break-up where Zaria goes after the Women’s North American Championship. Izzi & Tatum winning was a bit surprising, but they are really just the least dysfunctional of all three teams. Tatum & Izzi VS Charlotte & Alexa will be a lot of fun, and that can be the breaking point for #Tizzi while giving #Charlexa a solid win. Then what great stuff with three top names in the NXT Women’s Division history books returning, and the Six Woman Tag of Rhea, Tiff & Vaquer VS Fatal Influence is going to be awesome. Honestly, even that can be a make-or-break for Fatal Influence since Jacy was ranting at her supposed friends. Fallon & Jazmyn could leave Jacy high and dry if they wanted to let the Faces win.
