PLAY BY PLAY

CM Punk waits in the parking lot.

And three guesses as to who he is waiting for. Adam Pearce says if he’s gonna do this, can’t he do it inside? No, there’s one way in and one way out, Seth Rollins has to pass through here. Pearce says fine, do it your way. The Raw General Manager leaves Punk to it, but will the Second City Saint get his hands on the Visionary?

Jey Uso is here!

And as he pushes through the crowded concourse, he says to hit his music. YEET! The fans fire up as Jey makes his way down through the bleachers, and they bounce along with the YEET! YEET! YEET! Jey makes it to ringside, ribs still sore from what happened just last night in the World Heavyweight Championship, but he might be more upset about how things went down. Jey grabs a mic while the fans cheer him on, and he says, “Hey, my bad, Paris, but tonight, we ain’t gonna run it back.” The fans are disappointed, but Jey says he’s supposed to be here with the World Heavyweight Championship across his waist.

Instead, he has medical tape. But he’s running it back in his mind. What if he stayed out of Roman’s match? Jey would’ve been alright, yeah? What if he’d listened to Roman’s advice instead of trying to help? But if you know Jey, you know he don’t play about family. The fans cheer that! Jey says don’t talk about and disrespect his family, and don’t ever, ever put your hands on his family. The fans applaud that, too! Jey says now Big Dog is up in the hospital, y’know? All Jey hears is, “Smash ’em all!” Jey tells Seth, Bron Reed Breakker Bronson whatever, get out here, it is go time! But instead, he gets LA Knight!

Paris goes wild again as the Mega Star makes his way to the ring, just as sore and upset as Jey. Knight gets a mic, the fans cheer him on, and he says, “LEMME TALK TO YA!” “YEAH!” Knight says whether anyone else did or not, Knight believed in himself, believed he would win, believed he would be World Heavyweight Champion. “YEAH!” Instead, he stands here a loser. Let’s call it what it is. He ain’t ashamed of it. He lost the match, Jey lost the match, we all lost the match, #AndStill World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins. But the wrap on Jey is that people say at some point, Jey lived in Roman’s shadow.

Now, Knight ain’t sure about all that, but Seth clearly lives in his wife’s shadow! But this could’ve all been prevented. Jey doesn’t get it: They had a chance to put Rollins through the table, then it’d be Knight, Jey and Punk. Who spoiled that? Jey did! B F T, 1-2-3, who spoiled that? Jey did! Jey doesn’t get it! Elbow through the desk, Rollins out of it, but who spoiled it? JEY DID! JEY DOESN’T GET IT! Every single bit of this could’ve been prevented. Knight is sick and tired of being left laying, he is sick and tired of not being champion. If Jey is having a tough time understand, Knight can get him up to speed real damn quick!

Jey says get him up to speed then, LA. Talk to him, Uce. What’s up? Knight says what he’s saying is- that The Vision is here after all! Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed walk out here, mics already in hand. The fans boo and Knight says he doesn’t see their babysitter. These guys liked 8th grade so much, they repeated it three times! Can they rub enough braincells together to generate a sentence? If not, walk back where you came from, YEAH! “YEAH!” Bron says he has enough braincells to beat Knight, cuz he’s done it twice already! YEAH~! The only thing everyone should be concerned with is not these idiots, but Paul Heyman’s health after Roman Reigns put him in the hospital!

Bron paces, the fans chant for “O T C! O T C!” Bron says the only thing Knight and Jey should worry about is how Heyman is NOT here. Now there is no one to hold them back! The fans sing for “ROMAN, ROMAN REIGNS~!” Bron tells them, “Attention Paris: Roman Reigns is in the hospital because WE put him there!” And tonight, these are dogs off the leash! Heyman isn’t here to hold them back, tell them when to stop or what to do, and guess what? Knight and Jey are gonna end up in the hospital right next to Roman! The fans taunt Bron & Bronson with “A-HOLES! A-HOLES!” Bronson says before he gets to the goons…

“Paris, France, ACKNOWLEDGE your Tribal Thief!” The fans tell Bronson off instead. And yeah, THEY put Roman in the hospital, they beat him down like no one else has! Rollins’ vision does not included Roman, so they took him out! And it does not include Jey nor LA Knight. So, these two are next! The fans continue to tell Bron & Bronson off, but Bron says Jey and Knight are “clearly” at 100% tonight, so how about a match right here in Paris? The fans do like that idea! Bronson says, “Unless you two aren’t too banged up, or not man enough, or maybe you don’t have the balls! Maybe it’s all YEET, no SKEET.”

Bron & Bronson chuckle, but Knight shows he and Jey are both a bit banged up, but they can do their beef another time. If the greasy warthog and cross-eyed halfwit wanna get beat, they can! YEAH! Jey’s with Knight on this! Four letters, one word, UH UH, YEET!! The fans get their encore after all, but will the powers of YEET and YEAH see Jey & Knight through? Or is The Vision about to see to it that no one can stand in Rollins’ way?

Iyo Sky talks with the Kabuki Warriors.

The Genius apologizes for last week. Asuka laughs it off and says it’s okay. They’re family, and family fights. They hug it out, Kairi Sane is happy her “nee-san” are getting along. Asuka says they will handle Judgment Day for Iyo. Iyo offers her help, Kairi is willing to accept but Asuka says no, no, they’re not like Rhea Ripley, they don’t need help. Iyo says she swears that she is done with Rhea like that. But there is something she needs to tell them. Asuka says sorry, no time, the match is next. Gomena. No one is ready for Kabuki Warriors! Asuka heads out first, Kairi thanks Iyo for the offer, and promises everything will be alright.

Kairi heads off, but is Asuka perhaps being a bit passive aggressive about it? Or is everything (not) fine between the former Damage CTRL members?

The Kabuki Warriors VS Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez!

The Empress of Tomorrow & Pirate Princess are ready to settle their beef with the Prodigy & Big Mami Cool, but both teams want to get closer to those WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Who takes that next big step here in the City of Lights?

The fans fire up while Roxie flounders!

Raquel tags back in, Kairi dodges her, and Kairi CHOPS! And CHOPS! And blocks a boot! Kairi ROCKS Raquel, runs up, wheelbarrow and STUNNER! But Roxie tags back in! Asuka goes up, ROCKS Roxie, then MISSILE DROPKICKS Raquel! The fans fire up with Asuka as she then POP-UP KNEES Roxie!

Asuka URAKENS, SOBATS, KICKS, and HAYMAKERS! Then SOBAT again! The fans fire up and Roxie goes to a corner. Asuka runs in and ELBOWS Roxie! Raquel runs up, but into a ROUNDHOUSE! Roxie tries, but Asuka hits an ARMBAR TAKEDOWN! But Raquel ELBOW DROPS Asuka! The fans boo but Raquel drags Roxie over to the corner. Raquel tags in while the fans rally for Asuka. Winners: The Kabuki Warriors, by submission

And Asuka proves herself right! She and Kairi didn’t need Iyo’s help, they figured it out all on their own! Will the Kabuki Warriors return to the gold now that we are in the Fall?

Adam Pearce speaks.

“One question has been at the top of mine for the last few weeks at Raw: Who will be the next Women’s World Champion? Fortunately, I have two worthy competitors. Both are owe championship matches, and both are ready to battle for the vacant gold. First, the woman who won the Battle Royal at Evolution to earn her opportunity, La Primera, Stephanie Vaquer. And her opponent? She was already scheduled to face Naomi, the former Women’s World Champion, Iyo Sky! Will Stephanie cement her meteoric rise? Or will Iyo’s historic year get even better?

“We’ll find out in three weeks, because it is official! We crown a brand new Women’s World Champion live on ESPN at WrestlePalooza!” The new era is already golden! But who proves they are truly the best women’s wrestler in the world?

Punk is still waiting for Rollins to arrive.

We know Bron & Bronson are here, but is The Visionary going to let them handle business all alone? Or will he have the guts to show his face?

Finn Balor w/ JD McDonagh VS Dragon Lee!

The Prince and his Irish Ace bring those WWE World Tag Team Championships to the ring, hoping to rebound a bit from previous defeats. Will Finn bring down the Boy Wonder? Or will Dragon Lee win this one for the L W O?

Raw returns and Dragon Lee makes his entrance. The bell rings and Finn circles with Lee. They feel things out, tie up, and Finn wrenches an arm to a wristlock. The fans duel as Lee rolls, but Finn wrangles him using his mask! The ref reprimands, but Lee fights up and goes to ropes. Lee uses the ropes to flip through, then he wrenches and wristlocks. Finn rolls, armd-rags, but Lee headscissors. Finn kips free, ELBOWS Lee down, and soaks up cheers and jeers! Finn then drags Lee up, bumps him off buckles, and fires body shots. Winner: Finn Balor, by pinfall

Lee tried, but having to deal with both tag team champions at once is far too tricky! Will Lee need to call in reinforcements from AAA again? Or will Mondays always belong to Judgment Day?

Nikki Bella says hi to Iyo Sky.

Nikki congratulates Iyo on getting her title match. Stephanie Vaquer is Nikki’s girl, but Nikki’s still a big fan of Iyo’s. Iyo thanks Nikki, and says she hopes Nikki gets another shot at the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Asuka barges in and says, “Excuse us~!” Asuka quietly mouths that Iyo shouldn’t be talking to Nikki, Kairi tries to apologize for Asuka, and Nikki takes her leave. Iyo isn’t sure what this is about, but Asuka does say that soon, the Kabuki Warriors will be WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, and they can help Iyo with Vaquer. Right? Kairi says yes, of course. Iyo says no, she doesn’t need help. She can win alone.

Uh, well, Iyo didn’t win at SummerSlam alone, now did she? The Kabuki Warriors will help you, so that they can all be champions again! Asuka heads off, Kairi wants to smooth things over again, but Asuka shouts for Kairi to follow. Kairi obeys, and Iyo is concerned. Is there something more to Asuka being so… “protective” of Iyo?

Finn & JD regroup backstage.

They feel good over their win, and they find Dominik Mysterio. Where was he? They could’ve used him out there. Dom says he was planning. He was with them in spirit. Great win for Finn, by the way. But AJ Styles is still on Dom’s case! They gotta figure it out. Adam Pearce walks over and says he is happy to see them all together, because he wants them all to know. He saw what happened with Dragon Lee, and that will not happen in the Intercontinental Championship match. Finn & JD are BANNED from ringside! Dom and JD protest that Pearce can’t do that, but Pearce says he can and he has. Also, is Finn smirking…?

Dom asks why HIS match? But Pearce says Dom is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, right? And if it is a problem, too bad! It’s happening. Pearce leaves, and Finn shrugs and says he and JD will be there “in spirit.” Dirty Dom is stuck fighting the Phenomenal One 1v1, will he find a way to survive?

Six Man Tag: PENTA & The War Raiders VS The New Day & Grayson Waller!

The Man with Zero Fear didn’t pay for the $18,000 hat, but he did take a loss when Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and “Big G” worked together to mess him over. But now, Penta has Erik & Ivar backing him up to make this a fair fight! Will there be #CeroMiedo and all destruction? Or will the “New G’Day” take down all of their enemies at once?

Raw returns as Penta makes his entrance, followed by the War Raiders! The teams sort out and Penta starts with Woods. The fans sing, “OLE~, OLE OLE OLE~! Waller blocks a kick to JUMP KNEE! Ivar is in, he blocks the jump knee to HEEL KCIK! Woods tags in, he GAMANGIRIS, then steps in, TORNADO DDT! Erik is up to HEADUBTT the forearm!?

Erik swings, Woods dodges, and Woods ROCKS Erik! But Ivar sneaks a tag! Erik pops Woods up, Ivar is up top, FALLOUT!! Then Ivar sets up, Penta steps off him for the MEXICAN DESTROYER!! Cover, Penta & Raiders win!

Winners: Penta & The War Raiders, by pinfall

The unique combination of Cero Miedo and War Raiders makes it work! Will New Day just have to give up on their revenge?

Backstage interview with Rhea Ripley.

Cathy Kelley is with Mami, and Cathy says Rhea must have heard the news: Vaquer VS Iyo for the Women’s World Championship at WrestlePalooza. And it is also no secret that Rhea and Iyo have grown closer as friends. Does that dynamic complicate Rhea’s ambitions? Rhea says she honestly respects both Iyo and Stephanie very much, and they both deserve this match. But Rhea’s never taken her eyes off the prize. Whoever wins, she will do what she has to in order to earn a title shot. Then speaking on her friendship with Iyo, Iyo’s other friends, Asuka & Kairi, have been escalating the tensions between them all and-

Asuka reappears and again says, “Excuse us~!” Asuka says Rhea wants a title match before Iyo even wins…? Rhea says to stop. She doesn’t get what this problem is with Asuka, but yeah, everyone wants to be champion! It has nothing to do with her friendship with Iyo. Asuka says Rhea isn’t Iyo’s friend, so she should just stay away. Rhea sighs and says she’s been playing nice for Iyo’s sake. Don’t push her. Asuka chuckles and says she has been making history for ten years. Who is she? She is ASUKA. So Asuka will push who she wants! Rhea dares Asuka. Asuka says no one is ready for Asuka, not even Rhea!

Asuka storms off again, Kairi is even more stuck than before, but she still leaves as Asuka shouts for her. Will these combustible elements explode before we get to WrestlePalooza?

Roxie & Raquel complain to Adam Pearce.

He says they are not his next appointment. They just now heard that Iyo Sky is getting the title match at WrestlePalooza. But seeing as how Roxie’s the last person to pin Iyo, Roxie should be in the match, too. Pearce says Iyo and Vaquer earned title matches, but Roxie just lost. Uh, wow, Roxie is a TWO-TIME NXT Women’s Champion and a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, and he’s gonna talk to her like that? Pearce wants her to calm down. If Iyo wins, Roxie will be in consideration, is that good? Meanwhile, Pearce’s actual next appointment steps in, and it’s Lyra Valkyria!

Roxie says she is not done here! She doesn’t know what Lyra is doing here. Shouldn’t Lyra be off looking for her bestie, Bayley? Lyra asks Roxie why she’s talking to her, and why is she talking about Bayley? You don’t get to talk about her! Raquel says that’s rich coming from Lyra with how she treated Bayley. No wonder Bayley hasn’t show herself lately. Lyra asks what Raquel knows about it! If they paid more attention to their tag team, they’d still be champions! The three start arguing, Pearce shouts over them, “Ladies! Ladies! Roxanne, do you want a match ever again? Au revoir.” Raquel says fine, but they’ll be seeing Lyra.

The Judgment Day leaves, Lyra grumbles, but Pearce brings up why he asked her here. He did say he’d let her know when he’d talked with Bayley. He did, she sounded great, said some… odd things… but she’ll be back soon. So that’s it. That’s all he’s got? Yes, that’s all he’s got. Oh, okay. Well, all she knows is, she wants back in the ring. Pearce already dreads where this is going. Lyra wants either one of Roxie & Raquel. Doesn’t matter, he can decide. Well, he can make that happen. Next week? Yes. Welcome back! They secret handshake on it, and Lyra heads out. Will The Morrigan get back on track at the expense of Judgment Day?

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dominik Mysterio VS AJ Styles!

Dirty Dom is without any back up here, and even he knows he needs it against someone as phenomenal as the Phenomenal AJ Styles. Will the “2025 Hater of the Year” finally have the prize he’s been denied? Or will Dom find a way to lie, cheat and steal all on his own?

Raw returns and the fans are still singing “Phenomenal! Phenomenal!” for Styles! Styles is loving it, and then Dom finally makes his entrance. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is truly championship material!

Dom ROCKS Styles, the fans tell Dom off, but Dom stomps Styles.

Dom covers his ears to blow out the taunts as he stomps, but then Styles blocks! Styles fires the PHENOMENAL BLITZ! LARIAT! SLIDING FOREARM! The fans fire up and Styles LARIATS in the corner! Then the fireman’s carry, USHIGOROSHI! Cover, TWO! Dom is toughing it out but Styles stays focused. The fans continue to sing for Styles, and Styles reels Dom in. The fans are on their feet, but Dom RAMS Styles into the corner! Dom then backs off, runs back in, but Styles BOOTS him! Styles goes to the apron, but Dom avoids the haymaker! Dom KICKS Styles on the ropes, then triangle jumps to RANA Styles to the floor!

The fans applaud because that was again legit. Dom leaves Styles behind for the ring count. Styles rises at 6 of 10, but Dom WRECKS him with a dropkick! Wow, fans sing, “Dirty, Dirty Dom~!” for him! Dom then goes to the apron, FLYING- NO, Styles stops the rana to POWERBOMB Dom on the French commentary desk! The fans fire up while both men are down again, and Raw goes to break.

Raw returns again, Styles runs up on Dom at the corner. Dom BOOTS Styles, then goes up to TORNADO DDT! The fans fire up while both men are down in the ring. Both men rise, Dom fires forearm after forearm, but Styles fires those in return! Styles kicks low, suplexes, but Dom lands out, only for Styles to NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Dom survives the #HeadBuster but the fans rally behind Styles. Styles drags Dom up, pump handles, and lifts for a GUT BUSTER! Cover, TWO! Dom is still in this and Styles grows a bit frustrated. Styles drags Dom up, reels him in, and he calls his shot! The fans cheer, but Dom fights the Clash to waistlock!

Dom gets Styles for an EDGE-O-MATIC! Or, “Mullet-O-Matic” by Dom. Cover, TWO! The fans rally for Styles again while Dom rises. Dom stalks Styles, drags him up, and suplexes Styles, only for Styles to fight it! Styles suplexes Dom into buckles! Dom is down in a heap and the fans rally up again! Styles and Dom go to corners, Styles runs corner to corner, only for Dom to BOOT him again. Dom tries again, Styles blocks, but Dom ENZIGIRIS! Dom then brings Styles around to POST him! Styles staggers, Dom scoops, MICHINOKU DRIVER! Cover, TWO! Styles survives and Dom grows frustrated, but the fans continue to sing for Styles.

Dom brings Styles up, gives some Latino Heat, then snap suplex! Uno Amigo! Then Dos Amigos! Then THREE AMIGOS! The fans cheer for “EDDIE! EDDIE!” Dom goes up top, FROG SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Styles survives and Dom is shocked! Styles crawls to the ropes, Dom dials it up! But Styles blocks the call! And into the STYLES CLASH!! Dom clings to the ropes, Styles still drags him over, but Dom gets a foot up for the ROPEBREAK! Styles is stunned but maybe Dom’s just that lucky! Styles hurries to suplex and BRAINBUSTER! “He’s a dead man!” The fans fire up even more as Styles goes to the apron! Dom sputters, he grabs the ref, and EL GRANDE AMERICANO is here!

He YANKS Styles down, loads his mask, LOADED HEADBUTT!! The fans boo as the one man NOT banned from ringside helps Dom out! Dom goes up the corner, takes aim, FROG SPLASH!! Cover, Dom wins!

Winner: Dominik Mysterio, by pinfall (still WWE Intercontinental Champion)

So THIS was the plan, was it? Dom’s other amigo saves his hide, and Styles is again without gold! Will nothing keep Dom from becoming “King of the Luchadores?” Or will El Hijo Del Vikingo be ready for when Worlds Collide in Las Vegas?

Backstage interview with LA Knight.

Jackie Redmond is with the Mega Star, and she says that it is clear things are still very heated between him and Jey Uso. But after the threats made by The Vision, Jey & Knight team up for the main event. Can they really put aside their differences to settle things with Bron & Bronson? Knight says considering all the things he’s thinking about, is it the best decision for him and Jey? They’re taped up here and there, but is it the best decision? Who knows. But Knight doesn’t know how to quit! And if it means his path to the world title being him beating some sense into the halfwits, then that’s what he has to do!

Now if we talk the X factor that is Jey Uso, will Jey still show up? Knight doesn’t now. They can either survive together, or they can fall apart. But as far as trust, if Jey does dirt, he gets dirt. Don’t make Knight give you dirt. Well, Jey steps right in. Jackie steps out, and Jey says he comes from dirt, Uce. They got his cousin. So now he has to get them, understand? Yeah. Then stay out his way tonight and he ain’t got a problem. Four letters, one word- NAH NAH. Knight says it ain’t Yeet, it’s YEAH! But can Jey & LA hold it together long enough to win a main event?

CM Punk and Rhea Ripley talk backstage.

Rhea doesn’t think Rollins is coming tonight. But in all seriousness, she is sorry about what happened at Clash. Well, he knows she’s had a run of bad luck, too. Pearce walks over and asks for a moment alone with Punk. Rhea abides, and Punk tells her to keep her head up. Pearce tells Punk that “they” are telling him that Rollins is already in the building. What? How? No one knows, but his phone keeps blowing up. Okay, then Punk is going to handle it. Punk heads out and Pearce asks what that means. Guess we’ll find out. Will Punk find Rollins before the night is over?

Rusev speaks.

“Clash in Paris. Two former friends walk into a war, only one walks out. And look how handsome I look. Sheamus called me a bully and I called his bluff. In this harsh time in this harsh world, I’m not bully, I’m a beacon. I’m an example for the kids all over the world that it is impossible to be good when you are destined to be great. This world will tell you to be kind, but I am telling you to be one of a kind. Be tough, be courageous, be unstoppable, be like Rusev! As far as Sheamus, last night, he brough this Irish body, but his French spirit showed up. I stuffed his weapon down his throat and he caved.

“So let me be the bigger man again, Sheamus, and let me extend my arm. Maybe we can be friends again, now that you know your place is beneath my feet. And as for everybody in this roster, so-called tough men, know I was scary when I was held back, but I am devastating now that I’m free!” The Son of Thunder has spoken, but who will heed his warning?

CM Punk heads to the ring!

So this must be what he meant about handling this. Paris sings Cult of Personality as Punk storms down the ramp. Punk grabs a mic and the fans chant his name while he paces. Punk says, “Seth Rollins… This seemingly endless war between you and me… This company, this show, doesn’t run on your timeline. And I’ve been far too patient all day, waiting for you. So I’m out here until you are. That means I’m hijacking this show. And if that means I have to sing songs with my friends in Paris until we go off the air…” The fans chant for Punk again, and Punk says he is here until Rollins is and faces him man to man.

“BURN IT DOWN!” The fans cheer as Rollins doesn’t keep Punk waiting! Wait, no, that’s Becky Lynch pretending to be Rollins! The fans still sing, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” as Becky goes to the ring, and she smirks as she says, ‘Oh, what’s the matter? Not the man you’re looking for? But I am The Man you’re gonna have to deal with.” The fans cheer for “A J LEE! A J LEE!” Becky says classic, chanting for a dope that doesn’t work here. Punk says he won’t do this, he knows what this is. This has nothing to do with Becky. So unless she’s got her phone on her to call Rollins to get his rotten ass out here. Becky says how dare Punk. He doesn’t tell her what to do, okay?

And this has everything to do with her. Punk thinks he only affects one person in the family? Punk doesn’t care! Punk sees where this is going and wants no part of it. But Becky says he isn’t going anywhere! He is going to stay and listen to what she has to say! Because she has had to listen to what Punk has had to say, telling lies about her husband, the father of her child, the greatest man she has ever known! Punk says her husband is a coward! The fans cheer that, but Becky gets shaky. She tells the fans to shut up but they boo back. Becky says her husband has sacrificed more for this business than Punk knows, and is more than Punk will ever be!

Rollins is hot, jacked, talented, and- Becky is delusional. And he doesn’t interrupt Becky! Well, Punk wishes he would right about now, so that they don’t have to listen to her and Punk can just punch Rollins’ teeth down his throat! Becky says wow, he’s just like the fans! Loves the sound of his own voice, gotta get his own chants, his own stuff in! Does Punk think that when he walked out of WWE that it just affected Rollins? No, it was Punk’s name that the fans chanted during even Becky’s matches to let Becky know that they didn’t care about Becky or what she was doing, or who she was and the work she was putting in!

The fans are torn, but most do chant for “C M PUNK! C M PUNK!” Becky says it was just like that, they’re so proud of themselves. Punk isn’t the Voice of the Voiceless, he’s the poster child for apathy! And you think Becky just forgot about that? That she forgave it all because the fans put her on their shoulders and carried her to the main event of WrestleMania? No, they didn’t do that, BECKY got herself to the main event of WrestleMania. Just like Becky and her husband got this business to where it is today! The fans tell Becky to STFU, but she says no, they will listen to every word she has to say! This is not about the fans, but about her!

Becky started a revolution! They’re in a middle of one right now! Becky & Rollins run this business! Both divisions! They are champions! Becky waits for the fans to settle down, then she says her husband is a visionary, a revolutionary, he IS Seth FREAKIN’ Rollins! And she’s the greatest female wrestler of all time, it isn’t just her saying that, it is others, Sports Illustrated is saying that. And they’re gonna need Punk to get out of the way, okay? Because Punk isn’t what the business needs. They wish Punk the best in his future endeavors. And AJ Lee doesn’t work here! But Punk doesn’t fit the vision.

Punk says that was good. It all sounded good, at least. But The Vision is a bit blurry, isn’t it? This is a ten year beef because fans chanted his name during her matches? Punk understands the magnitude of him, he’s the Best in the World! And it’s not just him saying it, it is 10 thousand, 20 thousand, 30 thousand maniacs all saying it! The fans chant for Punk again! The fans chant his name if he’s here, if he’s not here, if he’s in catering or in the ring. They chant if he’s champion or if he’s not. Y’know who else chants Punk’s name, aside from all his friends here in Paris? All the towns they were just in! Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff…

Y’know who we didn’t see there? Becky and her “stupid husband” with their toy belts. So tell them again who runs things? And he’ll tell her that the only thing Rollins runs is from adversity when it calls him out because he hides behind his title, behind Heyman, behind Bronson and Bron, and now… He’s hiding behind his wife! Far be it for Punk to belittle her as just “somebody’s wife,” because we know she’s far more than that. Becky IS a supremely talented superstar. She’s The Man! She just has bad taste and married a bum! Punk needs Rollins to know that, to know he’s a paper champion, and that this thing will NEVER be over!

The fans cheer, and then lo and behold, Rollins steps out on stage! Punk locks eyes right on Rollins and his sparkly checkered suit. Rollins waves hi, then says, “Hey, Punk! I’ve been looking for ya all night, pal! HAHAHAHA~! If you’ve got something to say to your World Heavyweight Champion, why don’t you come on up here and say it to my face?!” The fans cheer, Punk frowns, but then Becky stays in his way! Punk says don’t do this. But she won’t step aside… Punk jukes Becky, but Rollins is already going backstage. Punk frowns again, and then Becky SLAPS him! The fans boo but Becky keeps egging Punk on with slap after slap after slap!

Becky dares him to do something, and then gets face to face! Punk shows self control, but Becky says he’s pathetic. Punk tells her, “I’m gonna make Seth Rollins regret ever cashing in on me. And you’re gonna regret putting your hands on me.” The fans cheer as Punk backs out, but Becky says she already does, she has his gross sweat all over her hand. So go, you’re gross. She’ll have to bleach her hand. She already threw out that hoody from getting his gross ball sweat on it. Bye, see ya later, farewell. Wait, is there not a French chant for this? “Hey hey hey, goodbye~!” No? Well, bye bye, farewell. Gross.

Punk ignores Becky as she keeps egging him on, even as she says he’ll NEVER be champion. And once he gets to the curtain, keep walking and never come back! The Man and The Visionary are pushing Punk’s buttons, but is that only going to make him explode?

Punk crosses paths with Pearce backstage.

The Raw General Manager tells Punk that Rollins is gone. He got in his car and already drove off. But here’s the good news. We know where he works, he’ll be back next Monday. Punk just has to relax. Punk asks where SmackDown is on Friday. Chicago. Home sweet home. Why? Punk chuckles and says that’s tremendous. Okay, what does that mean? Punk heads out, a plan already formulating in his mind. The fans want to see it, will they get you-know-who back in the WWE?

Jey Uso & LA Knight VS Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed!

While both men may have lost last night’s main event, they’re here in tonight’s main event looking to rebound while they tear down Rollins’ defenses! Will J ‘n’ LA make Paris the City of YEET? Or will the Unpredictable Badass & Colossal Aussie demolish what is left of Uso & Knight?

Raw returns as Bron & Bronson make their entrance. The teams sort out, Jey starts against Bronson, and the bell rings. Bronson runs up, Jey dodges to fire haymakers! “YEET! YEET! YEET!” Jey whips, Bronson blocks and reverses, then Bronson scoops. Jey slips free, ducks ‘n’ dodges, Knight tags in! Jey dodges again to ROCK Bronson! Knight ROCKS Bronson! “YEET! YEAH! YEET!” and repeat! Then they work together, DOUBLE HAYMAKERS! Bron runs in, DOUBLE HAYMAKERS! Knight UPPERCUTS Bronson, then brings him around, only for Bronson to HEABDUTT him down! The fans boo as Bronson flexes.

Bronson drags Knight up, tags Bron, and they mug Knight. Bron suplexes Knight, Knight lands out, NECKBREAKER! The fans cheer, Knight puts Bron in a corner and stomps a mudhole! “YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!” Knight runs side to side, tags Jey, then KNEES Bron! Jey runs in, HIP ATTACK! The fans join in for “YEET!” and Jey covers, ONE!! Bron is tougher than that but Jey brings him up. Jey whips, Bron reverses, but Jey KICKS Bron! Bron distracts the ref, Bronson gets a cheap shot in! The fans boo but then Bron runs up to stomp Jey! Bron BODY BLOWS, then he THROWS Jey up and out!

The fans mock Bron with, “Who Let the Brons Out? Woof, woof, woof, woof!” while Jey is down, and Raw goes to break.

Raw returns again and Jey fires haymakers on Bron, “YEET! YEET!” But then Bron picks Jey up! Jey is fingertips from Knight, but Bron RAMS him into the corner! Tag to Bronson, they mug Jey, and then Bronson drags Jey up. The fans tell Bronson off, he HEADBUTTS Jey down, then he mocks Knight. Bronson drags Jey up, back suplexes, but Jey lands out! Jey dodges to hot tag Knight! The fans fire up as Knight fires off on Bronson, “YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!” Knight runs to LARIAT! Bronson stays up, Knight LARIATS again! Bronson is still up, Knight runs again, but Bronson catches him! And TOSSES him!

But Knight ELBOWS Bron! And dodges Bronson! JUMP NECKBREAKER! The fans fire up, Knight goes up, and spell  it out! “L! A! KNIGHT! YEAH!” BOX JUMP ELBOW! Bron gets up, Knight runs him off, but Bronson SPLASHES Knight in the corner! Bron drags Knight out to RAM him into steel steps! Bron scuffs Knight, the fans rally, but Bron rips the medical tape away. Bron puts Knight in, Bronson stands on him at the ropes, and the fans boo. The ref counts, Bronson steps off at 4, and Bronson soaks up more heat. Bronson rains down fists, HEADBUTTS Knight, then drags him around, to SENTON! Cover, TWO!

Bronson drags Knight up, the fans sing for “ROMAN, ROMAN REIGNS~!” but Bron tags in. The Vision mugs Knight again, then Bron brings Knight around. Bron scoops to EXPLODER! Knight writhes, Bron taunts Jey, and the fans rally up again. Bron drags Knight up, suplexes, and the fans rally again. Jey coaches Knight, but Bron looms over Knight and talks trash. “You will always be an old man! A bum!” Knight fires haymakers! “YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!” But Bron knees low! Bron suplexes high and hard, then pushes Knight down. Cover, but Bron sits Knight up! Bron grinds Knight down with a chinlock, wanting to do more damage.

Knight endures and the fans rally up. Knight fights around, reaches out, but Bron grinds him down again. Bron tells fans to shut up but they continue to cheer. Knight rises to fire elbows, but Bron keeps Knight back! Knight fires more elbows, but Bron GERMAN SUPLEXES! Knight flounders away and Bron tags Bronson. Bronson drags Knight up, bumps him off buckles, and the fans tell Bronson off again. Bronson whips KNight corner ot corner, Knight ELBOWS Bronson away, but Bronson drags Knihght back. SENTON FLOPS as Knight moves! The fans fire up, Bronson and Knight crawl, hot tags to Bron and Jey!

The fans fi reup as Jey LARIATS Bron, LARIATS again, then blocks a shot to fire haymakers! “YEET! YEET! YEET!” Pop, lock, put some stank on it, HAYMAKER! The fans fire up as Bron flounders! Jey runs up, BACK BODY BLOCK to the PELE! Bron flounders, Jey runs corner to corner, HIP ATTACK! Jey runs again, but Bron grabs him! Gorilla press! Jey slips free, dodges again, SPEAR!! Jey hits first and the fans fire up! But Bronson is back! Jey SUPERKICKS Bronson first, then runs to LARIAT! Bronson is so big, Jey has to LARIAT again! Bronson is still in the ring, but Knight joins in! Knight and Jey DOUBLE LARIAT Bronson up and out!!

The fans fire up as Bronson is down! Jey then DIVES to send Bronson into the desks! Bron aims at Knight, but Knight KICKS him first! B F T! Then Knight puts Bron in place, USO SPLASH!! Cover, but Bronson drags Jey right outta the ring! The fans boo, but Knight WRECKS Bronson with a dropkick! Bronson hits desk, but he KICKS Knight’s bad leg! And then POSTS him! All four men are down and the fans fire up! The fans taunt Bronson, Jey rolls into the ring, but Bronson storms in. Bronson lines up a shot, huffs ‘n’ puffs and runs in, but Jey dodges! Jimmy Uso is here, and he has a chair! Jimmy gets Bron & Bronson to run off, and the fans cheer for “USO! USO!” Jimmy saves his brother, but Bron & Bronson say it won’t matter in the end. Will the Usos have The Vision seeing double? Or will it be just one more body on the pile after Bron & Bronson get through with them?

My Thoughts:

A great Raw to follow up Clash in Paris and to wrap their time in France. Very good developments in Iyo Sky story, and subsequently, the other stories in the Raw Women’s Division. I think Asuka is building towards being a “yandere” (jealous, possessive, psychotic) friend as part of her Heel turn, she is getting in everyone’s way of being friends with Iyo because she only wants Iyo to be friends with her and Kairi. Kairi continues to be more and more helpless as she’s stuck in the middle and afraid to stand up to Asuka. It adds to the tension with Rhea, and now Nikki Bella might be involved as the next thing after losing to Becky.

Great match from Asuka & Kairi VS Roxie & Raquel, though, and it’d be great to see Kabuki Warriors VS Flair & Bliss at some point. Roxie complaining that it is Vaquer VS Iyo for the title was a good promo, as was bringing Lyra in. Lyra being defensive about herself and Bayley is also good stuff. Lyra VS Roxie/Raquel is going to be a great opportunity for Bayley to return and give us the “Three Faces of Bayley” in person. Vaquer VS Iyo is going to be great, even a show stealer for WrestlePalooza, but I feel like it’ll be Vaquer winning because Iyo has this story with Asuka to explore.

Great Six Man Tag of Penta & War Raiders VS New Day & Waller, though mostly filler for the sake of giving Erik & Ivar a good return win. At some point, they need to remember to name challengers to the world tag titles, so hopefully we get War Raiders, New Day, LWO, and the Creed Brothers (who have been MIA for weeks now) in the mix. With that, great stuff from the rest of Judgment Day, with Finn VS Dragon Lee as a solid match, even with JD interfering. Dom VS Styles was great stuff, though I should’ve known El Grande Ameri-Kaiser was gonna interfere. They haven’t even really done much else with El Grande Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate, I’m waiting for more of that.

And naturally, we sandwich Raw with The Vision’s story with CM Punk, Jey Uso & LA Knight. Punk waiting in the parking lot didn’t do all that much, but he did have a decent promo with Becky. I do appreciate that Becky reminds us that the CM Punk obsession was all over WWE, not just during the men’s matches, and it does help us understand that there can still be resentment for how all of WWE was overshadowed by Punk’s absence. And between the fans thinking it and Punk teasing his homecoming for SmackDown in Chicago, there is half a chance AJ Lee does make her WWE return, even if just for this next stretch towards WrestlePalooza.

Good promo from Jey and Knight with Bron and Bronson to set up the main event, and fans of course love the combo of YEET & YEAH. Great main event, but I had a feeling Bron & Bronson were going to win. The Vision is rolling from Clash in Paris, they gotta keep it up, and there’s even a chance Bron & Bronson pivot to go after the tag titles as The Vision looks to be truly golden. But Jimmy showing up for the save was also a nice surprise. I expected Jimmy to move over to Raw given Naomi made the move when she became Women’s World Champion, but that’s a bit of a moot point while she’s out on maternity leave. Even so, Usos VS Bron & Bronson would make for a great match, and who knows what else we get after. If nothing else, we get yet another WarGames with a Bloodline-adjacent team in there.

My Score: 8.8/10

Roman Reigns arrives backstage.

And Adam Pearce catches him right as he exits the car. The Raw General Manager knows Roman is heated from last week but they need to discuss things first. Roman says first off, no, he wants to know where Jacob Fatu is at. And second, don’t you hear the fans already cheering for him? Hit his music! Pearce tries to calm Roman down but has to shout at him first. Jacob Fatu is not here… yet. But Seth Rollins is! Architect and Tribal Chief stare down, and Rollins says Roman is in his way. Roman steps aside, and Rollins’ song hits first! The fans in Omaha, Nebraska sing, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” as Rollins heads to the ring.

But then BRON BREAKKER CLOBBERS ROLLINS! Bron HAMMERS away on Rollins, drags him around, and throws hockey scrum body shots! Bron CLOBBERS Rollins again, then stands him back up so he can gorilla press him! Bron drops Rollins on barriers! Rollins falls back, sputters, but security and producers hurry out here. The refs get Bron to back off, producers check on Rollins, but then Bron breaks through to slip into the ring! SPEAR!!

Bron looms over Rollins while the fans bark. Rollins coughs and sputters while Bron tells him this is just a taste. Bron takes his leave, the damage done. But will he do even worse when the match is on for Backlash?

Judgment Day is in the clubhouse.

Liv Morgan says that Stephanie Vaquer is injured, no worrying about her anymore. But now to talk about the not so good news. Like what the hell was Finn doing in here last week?! Roxie doesn’t know, he must be delusional. Liv says she’s not worried about Finn, JD McDonagh finishes this tonight. Liv is worried about Roxie. Why did Finn think it was okay to talk to Roxie? Why didn’t Roxie tell them about it? Why did Liv have to watch it through Netflix to learn about what’s going on? Roxie says she didn’t mention it because she made it clear to Finn. She told him to get out and never come back. But Liv’s right, Roxie should’ve said something.

But don’t worry! Roxie’s loyal to Judgment Day, they know that. Yes, Liv is glad to hear that, because she believes in Roxie. Roxie & Raquel are going to be the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, they just can’t let anything get between the family. Promise Liv that you won’t keep secrets, Roxie. Roxie promises. Promises what…? That she will never keep any secrets from Judgment Day. Good. So they ready? Liv, Dom & JD head out, and Raquel pats Roxie on the head. But will things be (not) fine for Judgment Day?

Finn Balor VS JD McDonagh w/ Dominik Mysterio!

Raw returns as The Irish Ace makes his entrance, Dirty Dom by his side. The bell rings, the two tie up, and JD wrenches to wristlock. JD YANKS the arm, but the fans taunt him as “BOBBLEHEAD! JD rolls, powers Finn to ropes, but the ref counts.

JD backs off slowly, but Dom trips Finn up! The fans boo Dom but then JD RAMS Finn! Dom flexes and soaks up the heat while JD RAMS Finn more. JD lets off so he can soak up heat, then he stalks Finn to another corner. JD CHOPS, then he whips corner to corner. Finn goes up and over to CHOP! And CHOP! And CHOP! Finn warns Dom, but JD turns things around. Finn dodges JD to CHOP him back! Cover, TWO! Finn drags JD up, brings him around, and gives some Latino Heat! Raw returns again and Finn fights up in the headlock. Finn fires body shots, and now the rest of Judgment Day hurries out here. JD CLUBS Finn, whips him, but Finn goes up and- NO, JD catches Finn on the over, but Finn holds onto the ropes! JD pries Finn free, but Finn slips down to dragon sleeper! EYE OF THE HURRICANE! The fans cheer Finn on, but he’s all alone ringside now that it is 5v1! JD and Finn rise up, but Finn ROCKS JD! And ROCKS him again! And again, and again! Finn whips and BACKDROPS JD! JD flounders, Finn trips him to DOUBLE STOMP! The fans cheer Finn as he flexes!

Finn drags JD up, whips him to ropes, but JD reverses. Finn comes back to SLINGBLADE! The fans cheer as Finn aims from a corner. But Dom gets on the apron! Finn DECKS Dom, JD rolls Finn, TWO! JD swings, Finn dodges and CHOPS! Finn runs, but into the SPANISH FLY! Cover, TWO!! Finn survives but just barely! Finn goes to the apron while the fans rally harder and harder. JD storms over, but Finn RAMS into him! Then GAMANGIRIS! Finn goes up, up, but Raquel distracts the ref! Dom shakes the ropes, and Finn falls! The ref realizes something is wrong, so she EJECTS Dom! The fans cheer as things are a bit more even now.

Liv & Dom are upset but JD still drags Finn to a drop zone. JD goes up, up, and MOONSAULTS, but onto knees! Cover, TWO! Finn hurries to SLINGBLADE JD again! Winner: JD McDonagh, by pinfall

Roxie proves her loyalties by doing Liv’s dirty work, and JD finally gets a win over his old mentor. Is there no hope for Finn against this many enemies?

Backstage interview with Seth Rollins.

Jackie Redmond apologizes to The Architect for bothering him, as he is clearly in pain after that vicious assault from Bron Breakker. But what does this mean for Backlash. Will Rollins be okay? Rollins says Backlash is in five days, he’ll be fine. Rollins told “the kid” last week, that if you take your shot, you better be able to finish the job. Rollins ain’t dead yet. Rollins storms off, will he be able to game plan a way to get around Bron’s speed, strength, and ruthless aggression?

The Vision regroups backstage.

Bron Breakker says he couldn’t let Rollins go to the ring and get on the mic to bore us all to death. He can’t stand listening to that guy! He’s like a duck! “Quack, quack! I’m the best wrestler in the world! Quack!” Austin Theory joins in, “Lemme sing my song! Quack quack!” Paul Heyman walks in and says, “Is Seth Rollins still breathing?” Bron says yes, he is. Logan Paul says one guy who won’t be is Joe Hendry! Logan’s gonna beat him to a pulp! Logan swears to God, let him get his hands on Hendry and he’ll hospitalize him permanently! PLEASE! Heyman says that’s why tonight, Logan is not fighting Joe Hendry. W-What?!

Heyman says Bron almost got suspended again, Brock Lesnar retired on us, and if Logan were to get his hands on Hendry, he’ll be put in jail for what he does to him! That’s why tonight, it is Joe Hendry VS Austin Theory. Theory says it’s alright, Maverick. If Logan wants Hendry smacked around, Theory will smack him around. If Logan wants Hendry hurt, Theory will hurt him. He’ll put the Pressure on Hendry, and Logan can just watch. Bron says relax, you’re THE Logan Paul. Vision will get ’em all, one by one. They fist bump on that, but will The Vision all be turned into believers soon enough?

PENTA & Je’Von Evans VS Rusev & Ethan Page!

After the multiple blindsides the past few weeks, he WWE Intercontinental Champion and the Young OG team up against some common enemies in The Bulgarian Lion and All Ego! But will the power of #CeroMiedo see them through? Or will Rusev CRUSH while Ethan steals everyone’s smile?

Raw returns as Rusev makes his entrance, followed by Ethan’s. The teams sort out and Evans starts against Rusev. They circle while the fans rally, and Rusev picks Evans up! Rusev RAMS Evans into the corner, RAMS him again and again, but stops as the ref counts 4. Rusev snarls, ROCKS Evans, then CLUBS him on the back. Evans flounders but Rusev stands him up. Rusev whips, Evans stops himself and BOOST back! Evans ROCKS Rusev with haymaker after haymaker! Evans runs, but Rusev ELBOWS him down! The fans boo but Rusev stalks Evans to a corner. Rusev drags Evans up by his hair, then tags Ethan.

The fans boo more as Ethan and Rusev mug Evans. Ethan says see, they’re a team! Ethan drags Evans up but Evans CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! The fans “WOO~” but Ethan takes a swing. Evans ducks that to DECK Ethan! Then he ROCKS Rusev, too! Ethan runs up, Evans wrenches and kicks! Evans snap suplexes, kips up, and does the Penta swagger! The fans cheer while Evans taunts Rusev. Winners: Rusev & Ethan Page, by pinfall

Both Bulgarian Brute and All Ego have sinister grins on their face, and they celebrate their victory! Not too buddy-buddy, of course. But will these two both have their shot at Penta’s Intercontinental Championship?

Adam Pearce is in the ring.

“When I was a coach in NXT, my favorite, my absolute favorite days, was when a surefire, can’t-miss, blue chip future superstar saw their dreams come true when they got the opportunity to sign one of these to join Raw or SmackDown. Guys, today is one of those days. Let’s take a look.” The fans cheer as we get a highlight reel of the former NXT Women’s North American & WWE Speed Women’s Champion, and Pearce asks we all welcome the newest Raw superstar, Sol Ruca! Sol makes her entrance with a new song, and high-fives fans as she heads down the ramp. Sol joins Pearce in the ring, grabs herself a mic, and Pearce congratulates her.

The fans cheer and Sol smiles as she takes the contract. “Damn. It is going to feel so damn good when I sign this and officially be a part of Monday Night Raw.” But wait, Becky Lynch is interrupting! Pearce is upset as the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion storms her way to the ring. Becky grabs herself a mic to tell Petty Pearce that she’s been looking for him all day! She was told that THIS would be her time for her Celebration of Greatness! Who told her that?! Doesn’t matter, she knows they were a very credible, reliable source. But point is, after her monumental WrestleMania moment, Pearce came out and illegally sanctioned a match with “Iyo Jennetty.”

Which explicitly went against the parameters of her open challenge! But even with that meddling, Becky won! Uncontroversial because she’s the greatest female wrestler of all time, and it’s not just her saying it, other people say it. Sports Illustrated says it, Bleacher Report says it! Sol asks Becky, “Are you done?!” Becky says no, actually, and she’s also a New York Times best seller. Sol says not everything is about Becky. Becky says okay, okay, Sol is very new here, but the sooner she learns this the better. Everything is about her! Well, not this. Everyone knows who Becky is, we know what Becky’s done and accomplished.

But the thing is, Sol didn’t expect to find out that upon meeting Becky, Becky is exactly what everyone says she is. W-Which is? The Man? The history maker? The ground breaker? No. They say Becky is a rude, big-headed B*TCH! And it’s not just Sol saying it, it’s New York Times, Sports Illustrated- Becky says Pearce may be terrible at her job, but is he really letting Sol talk to her like this?! Becky asks if the fans are letting Sol talk to her like this. “YES!” Becky is flabbergasted but the fans cheer Sol on. Becky ask who even is this, and Sol finishes singing her contract. This is Sol Ruca, and if you ever interrupt her again, not only will Sol kick your ass, but she’ll snatch your soul.

Becky takes a swing, Sol dodges, so the punch hits PEARCE! Oops! Becky apologizes but Pearce is furious! Sol smiles as Becky panics, and then she runs up to use the corner! SOUL SNATCHER! The Man is down! Is Sol about to turn the tides and wash away Becky’s big time ego?

The Usos are backstage.

Jackie Redmond catches them as they head for Roman Reigns’ room, and asks them how they’re feeling ahead of the contract signing. Jimmy says it is a big night! Contract signing night between OTC and Samoan Werewolf, and they wouldn’t miss this for nothing. Now, they got a lot of love for Jacob, but Jacob needs to understand how OTC does business, especially when there’s championship gold on the line. Ya feel ’em? Jackie understands, but aren’t they conflicted considering their relationship with both? Jey says nah, Jackie, this right here is family bidness, plain and simple. OTC knows how to handle himself. The Usos are just in case something pops off.

But Jacob, The Usos already told you, Uce! You swimming in deep water now. You bit off more than you can chew. You’re swinging for the fences, though! But they respect that, aight? But Jey is telling you, The Bloodline has been drawn! And at Backlash, you gonna find out who you messing with, Jacob. Good luck, lil’ cousin. YEET. The Usos then step inside Roman’s room. What will the OG Bloodline discuss in regards to this very same family business?

Austin Theory w/ The Vision VS Joe Hendry!

The Vision were a bit… triggered, perhaps, by what The Prestigious Joe Hendry joked about during his concert. But will Hendry feel the Pressure here tonight? Or will Omaha be full of believers after tonight?

Raw returns as Hendry continues his concert where it left off! “He’s one amazing athlete, but he’s a piece of trash! He can shove his trading cards directly up his.. Paul! Paul! Can we fire Logan Paul? Everyone! Paul! Paul! Can we fire Logan Paul?” Logan storms out and shouts that he thought he made it clear that Hendry cannot fire Logan Paul! He is UN-FIREABLE! TKO cannot fire Logan, that’s bad business! Logan IS business! Logan is the heart and soul of the WWE! Hendry says he knows Logan is upset, and he’s glad to see Logan, because this part of the song is the apology. It goes like this: “Paul, Paul, can we fire Logan Paul?”

Logan swears to kill Hendry, but Theory runs up! The bell rings, Hendry fires hands, then LAIRATS Theory up and out of the ring! The fans cheer, Logan tells Theory to handle this! Theory and Logan reset, circle, but the Logan shouts at Hendry. That distraction lets Theory CLOBBER Hendry from behind! The fans boo but Theory CLUBS away on Hendry. Theory then clamps onto Hendry to throw hands right into the side of his head! The fans boo more but Theory CLOBBERS Hendry again! Theory & Logan soak up the heat, then Theory slaps Hendry around. Theory scoops to hit a BACKBREAKER! Theory and Logan fire each other up, but the ref has Logan back off.

Theory stands Hendry up, but Hendry UPPERCUTS and CHOPS and repeat! Hendry whips corner to corner, Theory reverses hard, and Hendry falls to the mat. Theory rains down fists, talks trash, but the fans chant, “Logan Sucks! Logan Sucks!” Logan shouts back that he does not, and Theory goes back to Hendry. Theory drags Hendry up, talks trash, and snap suplexes! “Who sucks now?!” The Vision soaks up more heat, then Theory drags Hendry up. Theory talks more trash, but Hendry suplexes Theory now! The fans cheer while Logan is already upset again. Hendry rises, the fans rally behind him, and Hendry fires haymakers!

Hendry whips Theory to ropes to then LARIAT! Theory flounders from taking the “Commonwealth Clothesline,” and Hendry runs to LARIAT in the corner! Hendry keeps moving, but Theory blows past! Only for Hendry to catch him! FALL AWAY SLAM! And then a kip up, for the… TURN! The fans cheer, but LOGAN ATTACKS!

Winner: Joe Hendry, by disqualification

The fans boo but Logan HAMMERS away on Hendry! Logan hands Hendry the win but he snarls as he tells Hendry, “Nobody can fire me!” Hendry fires off fists! Theory goes after Hendry, the fans boo as The Vision mugs Hendry! They stomp and punch away, but here come the Street Profits! Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins again take the fight to The Vision! SUPERKICK for Logan! Then Ford spins Theory around to ENZIGIRI! Dawkins takes Theory for THE SILENCER! The fans pump it up for The Profits, and Dawkins Electric Chair Lifts Theory! Ford climbs up, but BRON runs in! Bron THROWS Ford out of the ring! Then Bron CLOBBERS Dawkins!

The fans bark as Bron then GERMAN SUPLEXES Dawkins! The Unpredictable Badass turns the tides, but SETH ROLLINS trips him up! The fans cheer as Rollins gets revenge with furious fists! Rollins THROWS Bron into steel steps! Rollins stomps away, then they brawl in the ring! Rollins rains down fists while the fans cheer! Rollins BLASTS Logan & Theory off the apron, then LARIATS Bron down! Omaha is erupting as Rollins is shaking the ropes! Rollins aims, but hold on! Ford FLIES out to take out Logan & Theory! But Bron SPEARS Rollins in the distraction! Bron snarls as he tells Rollins he was that close.

Bron leaves Rollins down again, but he’s still roughed up himself. Will either man survive the Backlash?

Backstage interview with Judgment Day.

Jackie is now with Liv, Dom, JD, Raquel & Roxie, and brings up them sending a message to Finn. But what is the focus moving forward? Liv says yeah, you saw what they did to Finn tonight, and to Vaquer last week. The focus is getting all the gold and crushing anyone who gets in their way. And this season is all about Raquel & Roxie! Tell her, sister! Raquel warns Brie Bella & Paige that their nostalgia tour was cute for a night, but it’s time to get serious. She wants them both to come to their show, because- Bayley & Lyra Valkyria step in, and The Role Model says, “Well, well, well. Wouldya look at here? Can anyone in the Judgment Day get anything done on their own?”

Bayley has known them all for so long and she is just finally getting it. Lyra says they weren’t gonna forget what happened to them last week, either. If they’re such a big happy family, then they won’t be afraid to take them on. Liv mocks them and says families help each other win. Try it sometime, losers. Bye~! Bye~! Judgment Day leaves, but will #BayLyra humble them soon enough? And what of Brie & Paige answering the challenge to show up on “Judgment Day’s show?”

The Ruler’s Open Challenge: Oba Femi VS ???

With champions either too busy, too lazy, or perhaps too afraid to accept a challenge, The Ruler is making HIMSELF into the challenge! Who will answer the call, and who will be thrown from the mountaintop in Omaha?

Oba has the mic to say,” The time has come. The Oba Femi Open Challenge will now begin.” And it’s AKIRA TOZAWA that answers the call! He is accompanied by Maxxine Dupri & Otis, but can The Stamina Monster even survive?

The bell rings and Tozawa steps up to be face to… chest with Oba… Tozawa gest scared, but Otis says that’s okay, HE will step up. Even Oba likes the look of this! The bell rings, and the two tie up. They’re in a deadlock, but Oba SHOVES Otis! That alone is impressive, but Otis comes back to RAM Oba! Oba stays put and the fans continue to cheer. Oba and Otis are forehead to forehead, then Oba RAMS Otis! Otis doesn’t budge and the fans cheer! They start shoving, then Otis rips his shirt away! Oba RAMS Oba, Oba RAMS Otis, but Otis dodges! Only for Oba to UPPERCUT Otis down! Oba then hauls Otis up, for a SUPER SHOTPUT!

The fans are thunderous as Oba is fired up, and he watches Otis slowly get up. Even Oba is wondering if this is possible, but he kicks Otis first. Oba nods and says he knows how to get this done. Oba hoists Otis up the corner, then gets under Otis, for a SUPER SIZED FALL FROM GRACE!! Cover, Oba wins!

Winner: Oba Femi, by pinfall

The first challenge was already a big challenge, but Oba was still up to the challenge! And after seeing that, will anyone even want to step up next week?

Refs check on Rollins backstage.

Rollins insists that despite how he looks, he is fine. Just leave him alone. Rollins sees Hendry & The Profits, and he “thanks” Montez Ford for setting him up for that second spear. Ford says thanks to Rollins’ past antics, nobody, and Ford means NOBODY, trusts Rollins! Oh, wow, nobody? Ford doesn’t trust him, Dawkins doesn’t trust him, Rollins doesn’t even know Hendry but Hendry probably doesn’t trust him. Guess what? Rollins doesn’t even trust himself! But who cares!? They’re in the same fight! They’re all after The Vision, so those fights are gonna come together! But here’s the deal: They stay out of Rollins’ way, he’ll stay out of theirs. Got it?

Rollins storms off, but does he have it all backwards? Shouldn’t they all work together if they want to tear The Vision down?

Adam Pearce mediates a meeting between Iyo Sky and Asuka.

The Raw General Manager knows these two are set to face off at Backlash, so the floor is theirs. Iyo starts by telling “Asuka-san, I have avoided this fight for years. You know this. You are exactly what you say you are: my senpai; my mentor; I looked up to you. I loved you. And despite everything you have done to me, I still have the utmost respect for you. I never wanted to have this fight, and I never wanted it to come to this. But… You have changed.” Asuka says nothing has changed, but Iyo says yes, she has! The Asuka that Iyo looked up to is no longer here! Now, Iyo has no choice but to fight Asuka.

Asuka says Iyo continues her disrespect, so the Iyo that Asuka taught is no longer here, either! This person sitting here, who are you? “I don’t know anyone this disrespectful. Who are you?” Asuka says this is her biggest disappointment! Do you not get how she feels?! Asuka is done with Iyo. At Backlash, Asuka cuts Iyo out of her life for good. Iyo says fine, she understands. Because she IS ready for Asuka! Asuka rolls her eyes, then leans in close, to MIST IYO RIGHT IN THE FACE!! Pearce is furious, has Asuka get out of here, and shouts for a doctor! The Empress of Tomorrow shows no remorse, but will The Genius show no mercy at Backlash?

Backstage interview with El Grande Americano Original and…?

Jackie is with Chad G- er, uh, the Original EGA and The Creed Brothers, who are now “Los Americanos Hermanos,” The American Brothers… After that surprise attack on the other El Grande Americano at AAA during the Mask VS Mask contract signing, how are they feeling going into this trios match? Well, thankfully, the No Physicality Agreement was for Mexico. That means here in Middle America, all bets are off! Now, the boys saw how they great EGA Original in AAA, it’s ridiculous! Roman Reigns heads to the ring!

Now that there is no one to stand in his way, The OTC, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, walks out on stage and raises his finger to the sky. The pyro goes off, and it is time for the title fight contract signing. But will things stay civil in this family civil war? We’ll find out, after the break.

Raw returns as Roman gets his second round of pyro, then joins Pearce in the ring. Roman makes sure to sit at the head of the table, then Pearce introduces the challenger, Jacob Fatu! The fans cheer the Samoan Werewolf as he makes his entrance. Pearce says we all know how this works: two signatures on the contract makes this match official. The fans sing for “Roman, Roman Reigns~!” while he stares down with Jacob. Roman picks up his mic first to say, “Nah, Pearce, you know how this works. Omaha, Nebraska…! ACKNOWLEDGE ME.” The fans cheer and chant “O T C! O T C!” Roman asks if Jacob hears all that.

Roman says that’s not just love, but the sound of respect! The fans cheer that, and Roman says you don’t think he knows where Jacob comes from? That he wasn’t watching from afar? That respect wasn’t earned just from hanging out. Jacob was grinding for 12 years, but Roman was here for OVER 12 years! The fans cheer again, and Roman tells Jacob that Roman was the one in this company, his foot holding the door open for Solo Sikoa. Solo brought Fatu in? Well guess what? Roman brought Solo in. Therefore, Roman brought Fatu in. And Roman will be damned if there is not respect to be had in this business for him!

The fans again cheer for “O T C! O T C!” and Roman says this is about respect. There has to be a code, there has to be an honor system. They can’t just run roughshod around here, bogarding everything for the family. No, there has to be a system of conduct that they can hang their hats on, understand? The Tongan Death Grip… Jacob disrespects Roman with something that he saves for desperate measures. Where does Jacob think they are? In some bar at 3AM, surrounded 8v1? THAT is when you bust out the Tongan Death Grip, THAT is when you snatch someone’s throat! You don’t do that to family! You don’t do that to your own. You don’t do that to your Tribal Chief!

The fans cheer again, but Fatu says, “Hold on, what?! Tribal Chief? Hey. That’s where you got it all wrong, you don’t understand. Yes, I am desperate. Yes, it feels like it’s just me against the world. Yes, my back is against the wall. So I have no other choice but to take you out, take this title, and everything that comes with it!” The fans are torn on that, but Fatu says to keep it 100, then he’ll put a choke hold on this game, and he’ll squeeze out every dollar and cent, just the way this company been doing their family for decades! So when Fatu’s talking all gas, no brakes with it, that doesn’t mean slowing down, it means moving forward and never going back to where he came from.

So yes, Roman, Fatu is desperate. Desperate enough to do anything for his household, even if he gotta run through his own blood! Roman says this is what he’s talking about! Fatu’s household?! Let’s get this out the way. Roman signs his part, the fans cheer, and then Roman pushes the contract to Fatu. Fatu is talking about his household, but Roman says he’s been up here over a decade for MULTIPLE households! Fatu is worried about seven kids, but Roman’s worried about 170 kids! Fatu is worried about higher education, but Roman is worried about generation after generation! Because Roman is the one that can do that! Proof of concept! The respect! WWE does business with HIM!

Roman already told everyone a long time ago, this is ALL HIS! This is HIS ring! And yes, in their family, they’re equals, of the same blood. But in this ring, Jacob, you’re beneath him! JACOB SNATCHES ROMAN! Roman CLAWS Fatu’s face, THROWS him into buckles, then THROWS an armchair at him! The fans fire up but Pearce wants Roman to calm down. Roman grabs the belt, but Fatu GRABS ROMAN’S THROAT! Roman HAMMERS Fatu down, climbs up in the corner, and rains down more fists! The fans count along, Roman goes all the way to TEN! But the TONGAN DEATH GRIP still finds him!!

Roman hurries to get loose, SUPERMAN- DEATH GRIP!! DEATH GRIP!! Pearce hurries in there, Roman grabs at Pearce out of desperation, but Fatu drags him around, CHOKE SLAM on the table!! The table didn’t break, but Roman is still down and out. Fatu signs his part, and he says they gonna do this! It is official, and as it looks, Fatu has the advantage! Will nothing stop the Samoan Werewolf from sinking his teeth deep into Roman? Or can Roman find a way to survive?

My Thoughts:

A great Raw here as the go-home to Backlash, but with some great stuff that also had nothing to do with Backlash. Very good promos from Judgment Day, and I just knew Liv was gonna confront Roxie about Finn sneaking in. Her mentioning watching it back on Netflix was also a good detail, as they can reference it later if Roxie really does end up helping Finn as the mole. They were acting like enemies cuz they didn’t want the secret being exposed by cameras. But in the end, Judgment Day of course made sure Finn lost, but there might be hope for allies if Bayley & Lyra are gonna get in Judgment Day’s way of the women’s tag titles. Mixed Six Tag maybe?

Great 2v2 tag of Penta & Evans VS Rusev & Ethan, and the Heels winning out makes sense given Penta is a Face champion. Rusev will likely be betrayed by Ethan so that Ethan gets the title shot, only for Penta to win out. Great first match for the Oba Femi Open Challenge, Oba continues to build his power on main roster by just showing his physical power in throwing Otis. Very good promo from Sol and Becky, that’s clearly Becky’s first title defense right there, but I would think Becky cheats to win. Though, I can’t really see what Sol could do after she loses so maybe  Sol should win to humble Becky? Plus, they can just have a rematch after.

Great stuff with all the Americanos, especially with how convoluted it is to cover up the obvious identities of everyone. AAA gives the rest of the story where Gable Americano has escalated things to where even Kaiser Americano’s girlfriend is banned from AAA if Kaiser loses his mask, and that’s pretty wild. But probably also all the more reason we’re about to get Chad Gable back once he’s exposed. Great stuff with The Vision story, such as Rollins interacting with Roman only to get attacked by Bron Breakker. Also, that means Roman didn’t even care that Bron ran past him to go after Rollins, and that’s hilarious.

Hendry VS Theory ending in disqualification was fine, it works for Heels to be sore losers and such. Profits of course made the save, and while Rollins said they’d stay separate, I really do think there’s gonna be some kind of team up before this is over. Obviously, Hendry & Profits VS Vision can happen as a Six Man, and at the very least, they try to help Rollins against Bron when Logan & Theory try to cheat that match. And very good stuff in the story of Roman VS Jacob. Good promo from Usos, very good contract signing promos, especially with Roman referencing some of the real-life stories about Haku fighting off jackasses in bars. Jacob standing tall would suggest he loses, but there’s also SmackDown as a go-home to see if the tides turn at the last minute.

My Score: 8.9/10
