The Usos arrive backstage.
But then LA Knight goes right after Jey! The Mega Star asks if they’re “good” or not! Jimmy tries to stop this, Adam Pearce hurries over to stop this, and then refs and security get in there! Pearce shouts for them to go to his office! Knight says he ain’t going anywhere! Well if he doesn’t wanna talk to Pearce, he can talk to his bank and find out why there are some zeros missing from his account! Understand?! Pearce storms off, things calm down, and Knight says they’re not good. Will Pearce find a way to smooth things over between Knight and Jey? Or will things explode this close to WrestlePalooza?
JOHN CENA is here!
Springfield, Massachusetts is all fired up as The Greatest Of All Time makes his entrance! Cena shows off the new merch, then slides into the ring. Cena has the music cut and the fans cheer him more. Cena then cues up Alicia Taylor, and she introduces “The Never-Seen Seventeen, celebrating with each and every one of you tonight in Springfield one final time! The Last REAL Champion… JOHN CEEENAAAA~!” The fans cheer again and Cena says, “What an incredible, incredible night it is tonight! I get to come back to Monday Night Raw, and I get to do so in Springfield, Massachusetts.” The fans cheer that!
“A lot of noise in Springfield, a lot of energy in Springfield, I see a lot of young fans out there tonight. Some of these young fans may not know this, but I spent a whole lot of years playing football up the street over at Springfield College.” The fans cheer that! Cena says yes, truth be told, he sees some old fans all confused, too. The reason they might not know that is because he was just an offensive lineman. You never get your name in the papers, you get your ass kicked, and then you come back the next day to do it again. Springfield College prepared Cena for life in the WWE. The fans cheer that, too!
Cena says he’s got his friends in the house, some teammates in the house, that’s friendship of over 30 YEARS! His family even made the trip up! Cena’s niece couldn’t, it is her birthday, but happy birthday to Ashley, and he’ll see her later this week. And then they have THIS! There’s barely any stage cuz there is people as far as the eye can see! Cena says he needed this tonight. He thanks Alicia Taylor for her introduction, she does a great job. Now, he’s held onto parts of that introduction because it has become a chant for the fans to show their energy and to share a vital moment, and that is really special.
But like he said, Cena needed this because he has a tall hill to climb. The fans cheer him on, and Cena says there are some words in the intro that mean a lot, and that is “Last Real Champion.” Saturday, WrestlePalooza, Brock Lesnar wants to END the Last Real Champion. The fans boo that, but Cena says Lesnar is very intimidating. Lesnar is controversial. Lesnar is damn near invincible! The fans chant “F BROCK LESNAR!” Cena wants Netflix to know it’s “Talk to Lesnar,” so that’s what he’s gonna do. Lesnar, upon making his return to the WWE, as he has done so many times before, made a target out of Cena, attacked Cena, and challenged Cena to a match.
Cena has had matches with Lesnar before. They are some of the toughest challenges he’s ever faced. So Lesnar comes back, knocks Cena out, and challenges him to a match. So why did Cena NOT say no? Fans chant, “WHOOP HIS ASS!” Cena says saying no would mean saving his health. He could even politic and say they owe him a favor. The only person upset about that would be Lesnar. Some might say refusing is smart, Cena’s got about six appearances left. Saying “no” would be safe, it would be easy. The fans chant, “Thank You, Cena!” and that alone is why Cena said “yes.” Because Cena IS the Last Real Champion! The fans cheer that!
And in all of Cena’s days, he has never fought one battle back there, but all out here, in front of the most important audience in the world! To Cena, being the Last Real Champion isn’t about a belt, the main event, or even being the face of the company, but about leaving this place better than he found it. The Last Real Champion doesn’t take his ball and go home, and every single day, to the best of their ability, operates with hustle, loyalty and respect! Whether you’re first, last, in the middle, or are in the crowd, you understand that this is a chance to make magic, so you give all that you have! The fans cheer that!
Cena says, “Am I afraid of Brock Lesnar?” The fans say, “NO!” Cena says, “Yes, I am. Could I fail? Yes, I could. Will I back down? Will I give up? HELLLLL NO! WE will take the fight to The Beast, because that is what we do!” The fans cheer that, too! Cena says listen to this energy! Saturday, WrestlePalooza, the first historic broadcast on EPSN, Lesnar runs into the Last Real Champion! It is a final showdown of two generational titans! Cena doesn’t give a damn how many suplexes are in Lesnar’s city, Cena helped found it and he’s still standing! Just like that fan sign says, these jorts are stronger than Lesnar’s jeans! You want some? COME GET SOME!
Mic drop from The GOAT, but will he slay The Beast one last time?
Pearce has his meeting with LA Knight and Jey Uso.
They’re arguing, he wants them to sit down and talk this out like men, but both Jey and Knight say they ain’t sitting down with the other. Fine, but this still doesn’t make sense. Fighting in the parking lot, saying not to get hot? What? And Jey has WrestlePalooza to prepare for. Guys, make it make sense. Knight says he doesn’t need to make it make sense, he doesn’t care about Jey’s business at WrestlePalooza. The only thing Knight cares about is that Jey put his hands on him after the save, a spear right when he isn’t looking. Jey says that was a receipt, and he’ll do it again!
The arguing resumes, Pearce has to shout over them both again, and says WrestlePalooza is this weekend, and it has become one of the biggest events on the WWE calendar. That means he cannot have it going off the rails. How can they make peace tonight? Knight sarcastically says good for Jey, he has a match. What Knight wants is a piece of Bron, of Bronson, and then he can let it be. Well, fine, but Knight’s not doing it alone. He needs a partner. Knight can choose for himself? Well, then… He has just the guy: Jimmy Uso! Jey says no no, that’s HIS brother, Uce. YEAH, but if Pearce wants peace, it has to happen.
Knight leaves, Jey hopes Pearce isn’t considering this. Plus, Jimmy doesn’t even like Knight! Pearce says they’ll have to talk with Jimmy about that. Will Jey let his brother battle their enemies without him? Or will LA be SOL tonight?
Lyra Valkyria VS Roxanne Perez w/ Raquel Rodriguez!
The Morrigan got messed over last week when The Prodigy was able to help Big Mami Cool bring her down to earth. But now, Lyra looks to change her fortune by going after Roxie directly. Will Lyra split even with Judgment Day? Or will this just not be her night?
Raw returns and Roxie makes her entrance, Raquel by her side. The bell rings and the fans rally up. Lyra and Roxie circle, tie up, and Roxie powers Lyra back. Lyra ends up in the corner, the ref counts, but Lyra powers her way forward to arm-drag! They go around on the mat, stay away from ropes, and then rise back up. Roxie breaks free, then she pie faces Lyra! The fans boo but Lyra pushes back. Lyra then shoots around, waistlock and SLAM! Lyra stands Roxie up, headlocks, and hits as takeover. Roxie headscissors, Lyra kips free, and both women rise up. Lyra’s bad back slows her down so Roxie wrangles her to LA MAGISTROL BRIDGE! TWO!
Lyra is up but Roxie waistlocks. Lyra elbows free, runs and slides under, then O’Conner Rolls to BRIDGE! TWO, and the two back off. The fans rally up, the two feel out a knuckle lock, and Roxie KNEES low! Roxie headlocks, but Lyra powers up and out. Lyra drops down, hurdles over, then rolls, but Roxie stays back! Roxie then KICKS Lyra in the back! Roxie puts Lyra in the corner while Raquel applauds. Roxie wrenches and whips corner to corner, but Lyra goes up and over! Lyra then sweeps the legs and basement DROPKICKS! The fans cheer, Lyra CROSSBODIES! Cover, TWO! Roxie stays in this but Lyra fires back up.
The fans are torn as Lyra runs, but Raquel TRIPS Lyra! The ref, Jessica Carr, saw that right away! And she EJECTS Raquel! The fans cheer that, but then Roxie rolls Lyra up! Raquel arguing with the ref distracts from this! The ref finally sees the cover, counts, TWO!! Lyra escapes but Roxie THROWS her down by her hair! Roxie argues with the ref, the fans boo, but Roxie whips, only for Lyra to reverse! Lyra sends Roxie out and then WRECKS her with a dropkick! The fans fire up for Lyra and she puts Roxie back in the ring. Lyra climbs up the corner, Roxie stands, and Roxie YANKS Lyra down! Lyra hits head and shoulders on the buckles!
Roxie shrieks as she windmills away with fists! The fans boo, Roxie seethes, and Raw goes to break.
Raw returns and Lyra trips Roxie to a jackknife bridge, TWO! Roxie sunset flips it, TWO! Both women stand, Roxie waistlocks but Lyra switches. Lyra gut wrenches for a POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO! Roxie survives and Lyra is frustrated. The fans rally up and Lyra rises back up. Lyra goes to the corner, climbs, but Roxie bails out! Lyra drags Roxie up from the apron, and she deadlifts, but Roxie fights it! Roxie CLUBS away on Lyra, then she pushes her aside. Roxie climbs up to fire forearms, then she SUPER STEINERS! The fans fire up and Roxie gets moving, HANDSPRING KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO!
Lyra survives and Roxie is furious, but Roxie clamps onto the CROSSFACE! Lyra crawls, reaches out, but Roxie kicks off ropes to roll things around! But Lyra uses that to fireman’s carry! NIGHTWING DRIVER!! Cover, LYRA WINS!
Winner: Lyra Valkyria, by pinfall
And with that, Lyra breaks even with Judgment Day! But then Raquel returns to CLOBBER Lyra! The fans boo but Raquel throws Lyra into the ring! And she BOOTS Lyra down! Then Raquel sets Lyra up for a SOBAT and POP ROX!! The fans boo as the mugging isn’t over, but WAIT! BAYLEY IS BACK! And she rushes down the ramp, slides into the ring, and she fires off fists on Raquel! Then she dodges Roxie to SAIDO! Bayley is all fired up, but Raquel kicks low! Raquel suplexes, but Bayley hits a STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE! The fans fire up as Bayley then baits Raquel into the POST! Roxie is up, Bayley RAMS her into a corner!
Bayley rolls back, wacky waving ELBOW! And then a BAYLEY2BELLY! The fans fire up as The Role Model stands tall! Lyra is stunned but Springfield is all fired up! Bayley steps closer, Lyra is wary, but Bayley does her best to focus on the positives. Bayley tells Lyra she’s okay. Then Bayley goes to commentary to HUG Joe Tessitore and HUG Corey Graves! They’re just as surprised as anyone, but Bayley even hugs it out with Alicia! The hugs are going everywhere around ringside, is Bayley back to her old self? Or is there more to it than that?
Pearce is backstage with Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer.
And with the contract in hand, these three have finalized WrestlePalooza’s match for the vacated Women’s World Championship. They both thank him, and Vaquer says that she respects Iyo. May the best woman win. Iyo say she also respects Vaquer, but yes, she will win. Iyo smiles, Vaquer smirks, and the two shake hands. But then Asuka barges in, with Kairi Sane trying to pull her back. Asuka already gets attitude and she says no one is ready for Iyo! Vaquer says Asuka needs to get out of her face. Asuka says Vaquer must think she’s so cool with the face paint, though Asuka has her own wild face paint right now.
Asuka says tonight, Vaquer will face… KAIRI! Kairi says, “Me?!” Asuka says yes. Kairi fires herself up and Vaquer says make it official. Is she sure? Yes. Okay then! La Primera VS Pirate Princess, it is official! Asuka laughs her way out, and then calls for Kairi to follow. Kairi’s got her dukes up, but has she gone from Asuka’s sidekick to sacrificial pawn?
LA Knight talks with Jimmy Uso.
The Mega Star finds #BigJim in the locker room, and already, Jimmy says whatever beef Knight has with Jey is just with Jey and vice-versa. Knight says that’s not what this is about. Knight has a match set up. Bron & Bronson VS Knight and a partner of his choosing. Believe it or not, Knight chose Jimmy. Jimmy says that’s not the right play. Knight says no, he knows, there are a lot of reasons Knight doesn’t trust The Bloodline. But last week, Jimmy didn’t try and screw Knight over like Jey did. Jimmy says Knight needs to chill with that. Knight’s put Jimmy in a tough spot. Tonight, Jimmy knows Knight needs to get his. At WrestlePalooza, The Usos get theirs.
So for tonight, Knight has to find someone else. Wow, tough spot, huh? Alright, then. Knight heads out, but will he find someone willing to not just team with him, but willing to cross The Vision?
PENTA VS Kofi Kingston w/ Xavier Woods & Grayson Waller!
Just when the Man with Zero Fear thought he was done with the New “Mourning,” they had to mess him over during his match with Rusev. But will Penta cap things off once and for all here tonight? Or will there be much more than just Trouble in Paradise in Springfield?
Raw returns as #BigG gets the cameraman to sign his Anti-Destroyer petition! The fans boo that, but then they cheer as Penta makes his entrance. The bell rings and the fans rally up, only for Kofi to bail out. The fans boo, but then Penta gives chase! Kofi runs away, slides in, and Penta slides in. Penta dodges to SUPERKICK Kofi out! Penta then FLIES! Down goes Kofi and the fans fire up! Waller is stunned, but then he argues with Penta about how dangerous that move is! Penta puts Kofi in, the fans cheer “CERO! MIEDO!” Penta slingshots, but Kofi DROPKICKS him down! The fans boo but Waller mocks Cero Miedo. Penta CHOPS Waller for it!
But then Kofi PENALTY KICKS Penta from the apron! Kofi mocks Cero Miedo before he CROSSBODIES Penta on the back! Woods mocks Penta with a red cape like he’s a matador, and Raw goes to break.
Raw returns as Penta endures a chinlock. Penta fights up, fires body shots, but then Kofi KNEES low! Kofi whips Penta, Penta goes up and over, then Penta keeps moving! Penta ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! The fans fire up and Kofi flounders around! Penta then pops Kofi up in the corner, SUPERKICK! And GAMANGIRI! Then Penta headstands to DROPKICK! The fans fire up and Penta drags Kofi to a cover, TWO! Kofi stays in this and Penta is frustrated. The fans rally for Penta as he and Kofi slowly rise up. The fans chant, “NEW! DAY SUCKS!” as Penta brings Kofi around. Penta winds up to CHOP! The fans fire up, and Penta hits his swag walk!
Penta pump handles Kofi but Kofi fights free. Kofi CLAWS the eyes through the mask! S O S! Cover, TWO! Kofi is furious but he hurries to keep Penta down. Kofi drags Penta up, whips him, but Penta reverses. Penta runs in, but Kofi SWING KICKS! Kofi goes up, up, but Penta dodges! Kofi comes back, but Penta SUPERKICKS first! Kofi SUPERKICKS in return! They DOUBLE LARIAT, and Kofi swings, but Penta BOOTS! Kofi BOOTS! Penta ducks a kick to ENZIGIRI! Both men are down and the fans fire up! Penta goes to a corner, he fires up and the fans are with him! Kofi rises, Penta calls his shot, but Woods distracts the ref!
The fans boo but here comes Waller! SOMERSAULT- SUPERKICK from Penta! Penta scares Woods off, Woods clutches his neck to exaggerate his pain, and Kofi rolls Penta! Penta rolls through, springboards, FLYING DESTROYER!! Cover, PENTA WINS!
Winner: Penta, by pinfall
Penta wins against what might as well have been three opponents, because that is the power of Cero Miedo! But is this finally the end of things with Penta and the New Day?
Jey Uso finishes a phone call.
Jimmy walks in right after and asks who that was. Jey says don’t worry about it, just worry about Knight trying to holler at him. Jimmy has to say now! Jimmy says, “Have to?” Yes, have to. Jimmy hesitates to mention how Knight already tried, but Jey goes on about how they’ve got The Bron-Brons at WrestlePalooza, that’s what matters. Just family, Jimmy & Jey, point blank period, end of sentence. Jimmy says he already did tell Knight they can’t team, and it’s all good. But Jimmy ain’t taking orders from Jey. Jey can’t treat him like he’s one of their kids, man. Jey says he didn’t mean it like that. Then change your tone, Uce.
Because last time Jimmy checked, ain’t no Ula Fala around Jey’s neck. Jimmy storms off, Jey is a bit upset by that comment, but could things be playing right into The Vision’s hands without them even trying?
Raw returns and…
Jimmy finds Knight! Jimmy asks if Knight still needs that tag partner. Knight says he doesn’t wanna put Jimmy in a bad position. Jimmy says tonight, he’s in! Knight says YEAH! Jey being a little too forceful now backfires, but will Knight & Jimmy still put a dent in Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed tonight?
Seth Rollins is here!
Springfield sings, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” as THE WWE World Heavyweight Champion walks out on stage, and then is joined by The Man! Becky Lynch joins her husband, and they both hold their titles up as they go to the ring together. They grab mics while the fans boo, and then Springfield cheers for “C M PUNK! C M PUNK!” Rollins says, “Y’know, I was going to say the name of your stupid little town… But instead, you wanna act like that. I’m going to ignore you. And instead, I will address the viewing audience live on Netflix, welcome to Monday Night Rollins!” The fans boo but Rollins says in case these pea-brains here forgot who HE is…
He is a Visionary! He is a Revolutionary! He IS Seth FREAKIN’ Rollins! Rollins paces around and says that’s only half of it. Because now he has the honor and privilege of introducing to you YOUR Women’s Intercontinental Champion, the New York Times Best Seller, the WrestleMania main-eventer, the greatest to ever do this…! She IS Big Time Becks, she IS The Man, she IS Becky FREAKIN’ Lynch! So show some respect! Instead, the fans chant for “A J LEE! A J LEE!” Becky says, “Okay, okay, I have a lot to say about her. But hey, hey, hey, I’m not gonna talk about people behind their backs, I’m not CM Punk.”
The fans boo more but Becky says what she’ll say, she’ll say to their face! Well, here comes AJ Lee already, CM Punk following behind. And just as Rollins & Becky wear matching black leather, Punk & Lee wear jeans and the AJ Lee T-shirt. AJ smiles and waves, then she and Punk step into the ring. Punk says, “Hello, everybody! I am AJ’s husband. But I’m not gonna waste her time, my time, your time, with an overcompensating, long-winded introduction as to who she is.” The fans chant, “AJ’s Husband!” and Punk likes that. And clearly, they all know who he is, and they all came to see her and they sure know her name.
Punk isn’t sure who to start with. Who is team leader here? Who’s really the man? Guess it’ll be ladies first. Punk tells Becky that he’s made a career in this company, on this mic, in this ring, telling people what he thought about them to their face. He’s never needed to talk behind backs, he is just overwhelmed. Look at these goofs! The fans chant, “GOOFS! GOOFS! GOOFS!” Rollins says they wouldn’t know style if it punched them in the face! Punk says they brag about being the most famous couple? The greatest wrestling couple? But they can’t get on the same page, they can’t share spotlight. We had to listen to TWO crappy themes!
But Punk has no problem putting Cult of Personality on the shelf so that Miss AJ can light it up. The fans cheer that! Rollins & Becky share a braincell, they share a wardrobe, but can they share the spotlight? Or is Saturday gonna be real easy? Is this a unified front? Is this a happily married tag team? Or will the egos get in the way? Oh, wow, egos?! The fans boo but Rollins tells them to shut up! Rollins says Punk wants to talk EGOS! Pointing the fingers at them when he is the most selfish human being Rollins has ever met in his entire life! Springfield tells Rollins to STFU but Becky tells the fans to show some respect, you human embodiments of herpes!
Rollins thanks Becky for standing up for him. But he’s gonna do something so very selfless that’ll hurt him immensely, but it’ll make all the fans happy. He doesn’t wanna do it, but he will do it. He will give CM Punk credit. The fans cheer and Punk is surprised. Rollins says that AJ Lee’s return is the best decision in their entire life. Well, in their personal life. The fans tell Rollins, “No One Likes You!” Becky says she LOVES Rollins! Rollins says hate him all you want, he’s still world champion. Punk says, “For now.” But Rollins says business wise, Punk bringing AJ into this was the biggest mistake of his entire life, that he will regret for the rest of it!
AJ says no, “sweet cheeks,” that mistake was Rollins’. She wouldn’t even be here if Becky wasn’t Rollins’ human shield. Rollins says that is not true! Becky says no one believed AJ was ever coming back! She sure didn’t, Rollins didn’t, and the fans sure didn’t! And it has been what, ten years? Ten years AJ has been gone. But what Becky really can’t believe is how irresponsible CM Punk is doing this! Punk says he doesn’t care about anybody else, but it seems he only cares about three things: himself; the world title; and yes, AJ Lee. But Becky read AJ’s book, she has some notes. They’re talking about healing mentally, but how is AJ physically?
Because in the book, AJ goes on about the damage to her neck. How is her neck feeling right about now? Huh? Because hey, Punk, you got into a blood-feud with a man who took your friendship bracelet, so how is it going to feel when Becky is pummeling AJ’s face in? The fans boo but Becky says she is the greatest female wrestler of all time, and it’s not just her saying that, okay? Other people say it. Punk says no one else says it, but Rollins says HE says it all the time! And Sports Illustrated says it! ESPN says it! So AJ isn’t an asset now, she’s a liability. The fans boo more but AJ steps up now.
“Well, first of all, Becky, thank you for reading my book. I did not read yours. But you’re right. You made a good point, I don’t know how my heck is going to hold up on Saturday.” The fans sing for “AJ! AJ LEE~!” AJ says it has been ten years since she took a bump. She doesn’t know what’ll happen. Just like she didn’t know what would happen on SmackDown two weeks ago. But she skipped on out here, saw Becky’s constipated little face, and then she was seeing red! So it isn’t AJ’s neck that Becky should worry about. No, AJ won two titles on this bad neck. Fans chant, “CONSTIPATED!” Rollins says that’s going too far! SHUT UP!
AJ says what Becky needs to worry about is the fact that not even AJ knows what AJ will do next. Because gosh, AJ is erratic. She’s been known to make rash decisions. She’s a Puerto Rican girl from New Jersey, sometimes she shanks chicks. Can’t help it. But Seth… You made a plan, and you used your wife as a backup plan. But you cannot plan for something you can’t predict. Rollins chuckles, and he says, “You don’t think I can handle you? ME? Seth Rollins, multi-time world champion, can’t handle you?” AJ shrugs, and Rollins says, “Listen, little girl. You’re not wrong. I may not be able to predict you, but your husband I can read like a book.”
So let him tell you something you may not know or want to believe about Punk. Punk has a nasty habit of leaving things when those thing let him down. So this Saturday, when Becky rips AJ Lee to shreds, she better hope to GOD that Punk doesn’t leave her, too. The fans boo and AJ twitches. Then she SLAPS Rollins! The fans fire up and Becky is shocked! Rollins is shocked! Punk nods and gets ready to fight, too. Rollins say she’s never put his hands on a lady, but thankfully, he has someone who will. Rollins uses Punk’s words against him, but then Becky doesn’t do anything. Rollins says yes, he meant you, Becky. They argue, and Rollins says this is HER fault!?
Becky leaves the ring, Rollins asks where she’s going, and he says she’s embarrassing him! Becky says Rollins has gotten them in this mess! Rollins pie faces Punk, then runs for it! Punk chases Rollins, but then Becky slips back inside! MANHANDLE SLAM on AJ!! It was all a ruse! Punk hurries back in, and Becky says he made a big mistake! Becky SLAPS Punk, SLAPS him again, then regroups with Rollins. Punk checks on AJ while Rollins & Becky kiss. Will The Vision’s power couple prove they are always one step ahead? Or will Punk & AJ prove wild cards can trump a king and queen?

Wait a minute! He’s Grande Americano, he’s Grande Americano, I’M Grande Americano! Are there any more Grande Americanos we have to worry about? Also, Spiderman meme!
Lyra returns backstage.
And she goes to Bayley’s private locker room, only to hear Bayley arguing… with Bayley… Bayley tells her other selves to calm down, and then hits the wall!? Lyra isn’t sure what to do but she still knocks on the door. The door opens, and Bayley is calmly sitting on the couch. Bayley asks what’s up. Lyra says hey, she just… Who was Bayley talking to? Um, what? Never mind… Lyra just wants to thank her for earlier, helping with Judgment Day and all. Especially after what Lyra said to Bayley, she- Oh, what Lyra said to her? Well, no, Bayley should “thank” Lyra for showing her that IDIOTS still exist back here! Did Lyra even care to ask if she could come in?!
NO! Lyra just barged into Bayley’s room. What if she was changing? Or if she had company in here? Y’know what? Lyra can just stay away from Bayley now! IDIOT! Bayley storms off, Lyra is even more at a loss for words. Just what is going on inside the mind of our Role Model?
Stephanie Vaquer is preparing at gorilla.
But then Rhea Ripley walks up. Mami smiles and says whether it is Stephanie or Iyo that wins the title this weekend, just know that Rhea’s coming for ’em. So good luck. Vaquer says she will be ready. But will La Primera be ready to fight the Genius after setting sail against the Pirate Princess? Or is the Empress of Tomorrow already putting in the fix?
Stephanie Vaquer VS Kairi Sane w/ Asuka!
Raw returns and Kairi makes her entrance, Asuka by her side. The bell rings, the fans rally up, and Asuka cheers Kairi on. The two circle, feel things out, and then tie up. But Vaquer’s also got NXT: Homecoming tomorrow night, can she focus on The Fatal Influence when she knows The Genius has nothing but time to prepare?
Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker speak.
The Colossal Aussie tells The Usos, “I’ll give you guys credit, you are the greatest tag team in the history of the business. Until now. And just like the myth of The Bloodline, the myth of you guys being the greatest is going to come to an end.” Badass Bron says, “Seth Rollins has a vision for this business. And your vision is looking up at the lights.” As for tonight, they give everyone just a taste of what happens at WrestlePalooza. They could let Jey’s side take each other out, but where’s the fun in that? Do they understand the destructiono that Bron Breakker is capable of? And Bronson won’t hold Breakker back.
Tonight, Knight and Jimmy find out what happens when The Dog is off the leash! And Jey, after Bron & Bronson run through LA Knight and Jimmy, Jey will have to ask himself where he goes from here. Because at WrestlePalooza, The Usos come to an end. They will lose at their own game. And they will find out, just as Roman Reigns did, that Seth Rollins’ vision doesn’t change for anyone at any time, at any place. Will there be nothing but pain and destruction in the near future?
Iyo, Asuka and Kairi regroup backstage.
And Asuka is still heated about Iyo stopping her out there. Asuka says she WILL make Iyo champion! Iyo says SHE makes herself champion! She wants Asuka to understand as friends, Iyo has to do this by herself! Saturday, she will win the title on her own, same as Asuka! Asuka is upset, but says FINE, Iyo can do it on her own! But she won’t win! Asuka storms off, and she again shouts for Kairi. Kairi feebly follows after, is this trio of friendship about to fall apart?
The Judgment Day celebrates in the clubhouse.
It’s sparkling cider and chicken nuggets for all as they celebrate Dirty Dom’s historic win last Friday night. The only one not excited is Finn, but JD says let’s all raise a glass to El Mejor, the Double Champ, Dirty Dom! Like being a champion but twice as good! Cheers! Finn says great, but maybe they should pump the brakes on the victory lap. Why? Cuz Roxie & Raquel had a tough night. Raquel assures Finn, she and Roxie will handle Lyra and Bayley, just as Liv would’ve wanted. So don’t worry. No, he’s not worried about them, but there’s the little problem of El Grande Americano! Wow… This again?
YES, this again! Finn pours his drink right out on the floor as he says Dom is a member of Judgment Day! Judgment Day needs to know- JD calms Finn down, but he does say there is clearly something going on here. They all want to know what Grande wants in return. Oh, is it so crazy that Grande just wants Dom’s respect? The respect of the greatest Mysterio ever, and the King of the Luchadores! Is that crazy? YES! And next time Dom plays that “King of Luchadores” card, go find help from someone else! Finn storms off, JD sighs, and he follows after. Dom assures Roxie and Raquel that it’ll be fine, the guys will cool off and come back.
But then in steps Rusev! Rusev introduces himself, but Dom says his hands are too full to shake hands. Rusev says that he is the NEXT Intercontinental Champion! But enjoy your party. Rusev leaves, and Dom is very worried. Dom may have thwarted the Phenomenal One, but will he survive long against the Son of Thunder?
LA Knight & Jimmy Uso VS Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed!
The Mega Star may have chosen #BigJim to stick it to Main Event Jey, but Jey’s bad attitude is what made Jimmy accept the offer! Will they be able to work together and bring down the big bad Bron-Brons? Or will there be a Tsunami in Springfield?
Raw returns as Jimmy and Knight are already in the ring, and the Bron-Brons make their entrance. The teams sort out and the fans bark as Bron starts against Jimmy. They circle, feel things out, and they tie up. They go around, Bron headlocks, but Jimmy powers up and out, only for Bron to CLOBBER him! The fans bark, Jimmy and Bron reset, and they tie up again. Bron waistlocks to SLAM Jimmy, then he puts Jimmy in a corner. Bron RAMS into Jimmy again and again, then stops at 4. Bron whips corner to corner, Jimmy slides to a stop, and Jimmy UPPERCUTS! Jimmy then CHOPS!
Jimmy whips Bron to ropes, but Bron reverses, only for Jimmy to ELBOW Bron down! But Bron is right up! LARIAT! The fans bark and rally while Bron drags Jimmy up. Tag to Bronson, the Brons mug Jimmy, and Bronson CLUBS Jimmy to a corner. Bronson whips Jimmy corner to corner, storms up on him, then fireman’s carries. The fans fire up while Bron & Bronson regroup. Jimmy & Knight dare them to come get some, but Raw goes to break.
Raw returns again and Bronson has Jimmy down now. Bronson clamps on with a neck wrench! Jimmy endures, the fans rally up, and Jimmy rises! But Bronson THROWS Jimmy down by his head! Cover, ONE, and Bron does pushups! The fans bark, but Knight kicks Bron! The ref backs both guys off, and Bron smirks. Bron drags Jimmy up, puts him in a corner, then hoists him up top. Bron climbs but the fans rally for Jimmy.

Bron storms over, tags Bronson, and Bronson stays between Jimmy and Knight. The fans rally, Bronson scoops, and Bronson SLAMS! Bronson gives Jimmy his last rites, then SENTONS but Jimmy moves! Bronson writhes from the crash landing and the fans fire up! Bronson runs up, Jimmy UPPERCUTS! Jimmy then BOOTS from the corner, goes up, and UCE IN THE WIND! Both men are down and the fans fire up!
Bronson and Jimmy crawl, reach out, hot tags to Knight and Bron! The fans fire up as Knight LARIATS Born again and again, “YEAH! YEAH!” Then a BLAST for Bronson! Knight dodges Bron to JUMP NECKBREAKER! Knight then scoops, but Bron slips free! Knight ELBOWS Bron, ROCKS Bronson, but Bron JUMP KNEES! Down goes Knight and Bronson tags back in. Bronson drags Knight up, reels him in, and says thumbs up, thumbs down! The fans boo but Bronson lifts. Knight slips free, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then LARIATS! Bronson stays up so Knight LARIATS again! And then ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Bronson catches him for a fireman’s carry!
Knight fights free, RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Knight goes up, spells it out, “L! A! KNIGHT! YEAH!” BOX JUMP ELBOW! Jimmy tags in and USO SPLASH! Cover, Bron breaks it! The fans either boo or bark, but all four men are down. “This is Awesome!” as Bron and Knight rise first. Knigh trusn up, and he LARIATS Bron and himself up and out! Jimmy and Bronson stand, Bronson runs up, but Jimmy TOSSES him out! Jimmy DIVES! Direct hit and Bronson hits the desk! The fans fire up and Jimmy hurries back in, and DIVES into a forearm! Bronson puts Jimmy back in, but Knight LEAPING LARIATS from the steps!
Knight puts Bronson in for Jimmy, SUPERKICK! Bronson wobbles, Jimmy runs, SPEAR! Jimmy hurries to a corner and climbs back up! But Bron FLYING SHOULDER TACKLES Knight! Jimmy is stunned, and then Bron grabs at him! Jimmy kicks Bron away, but Bronson gets Jimmy for the JAGGED EDGE!! Cover, Bron & Bronson win!
Winners: Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed, by pinfall
But this isn’t enough, they mug Jimmy! The straps come down, and Bron roars! Bron builds speed, SPEAR!! Down goes Jimmy and Bronson says this is what Jimmy gets for making this his fight! But here comes JEY! The fans fire up as Jey has a chair, and he JAMS Bron! Then SMACKS him down! Jey snarls, storms in after Bronson, but Bronson SWATS the chair! So Jey fires haymakers! “YEET! YEET! YEET!” Jey pops, locks and puts some stank on the HAYMAKER! Then the chair JAMS Bronson up! Jey SMACKS Bronson right outta the ring! The fans fire up and “YEET! YEET! YEET!” as Jey helps his brother.
Jey says he told Jimmy he should’ve left Knight to himself. But Knight has the chair! Jey sees Knight first, and the two stare down. Jey says hey, they’re good now, okay? Knight decides to accept that, and he puts the chair aside. Jey offers a handshake, but Knight isn’t so sure. Knight then decides to accept that, too! But then B F T!! Knight says THAT makes them even, YEAH! Knight leaves, but are he and Jey anything but even?
My Thoughts:
A very good Raw, but something just kept it from being great. The irony of this being early by only one hour as opposed to three or four hours made it tricky because I had to have dinner in the middle. But my personal schedule aside, Cena’s promo to thank fans while calling out Lesnar was a good promo, but I end up more intrigued by Knight going after Jey and then choosing Jimmy to be his partner. To be fair, if Lesnar wasn’t also gonna be here, what does Cena talking about the match add to things? I would think Cena wins, and then he moves on to his true “last match.”
As for the Knight-Usos story within the larger Vision story, really good promos between the different combinations. Jey telling Jimmy what to do and Jimmy having that resistant reaction was the strongest, because they’re clearly building Jey’s Tribal Chief dictator side. Very good promo from Bron & Bronson to call them all out, but it should’ve been played earlier in the night than just a segment or so before the match. Great main event match, though, and Bron & Bronson winning does make sense when Knight and Jimmy aren’t a team like The Usos are a team. Knight getting Jey with that BFT the same way Jey got him with a spear, that’s good stuff, really hard to call the Usos VS Bron-Bron now.
Speaking of Vision, very good promo between Rollins & Becky with Punk & AJ. They maybe let the fans be too involved, sometimes you gotta get your part out without worrying about chants. But we’ve got four stars who are great at talking so things still worked out even with acknowledging the fans, and that fake dysfunction was a clever move for Rollins & Becky. But with that, I would think Punk & AJ win the tag match, which then also compels separate title matches going towards Crown Jewel: Perth.
Great match from Penta VS Kofi, and Penta overcoming all the overbooking was great stuff. But at the same time, a good move having that “backstage attack.” I definitely feel like there’s a Six Man Tag of Penta & Viking Raiders VS New Day & Waller, but I feel this could also be the opening for bringing Fenix over to help his brother. Then from there, boom, Lucha Brothers VS New Day dream match. Great promos from Judgment Day, such as Dom’s interview being interrupted by that attack on Penta. Finn giving Dom that warning about figuring out who he’s running with is good stuff, too, and it’s certainly a direction I didn’t see coming.
Grande Americano Kaiser VS Dragon Lee was great stuff, and of course Pete Dunne as Grande Dos returned to cue AJ Styles hurrying out there. But then surprise! Tyler Bate as Grande Tres returns! Great stuff just with that, and I suspect a Six Man Tag of the Three Grandes VS LWO, but maybe AJ Styles takes someone’s place in that match since he also has beef. Great match from Lyra VS Roxie, and I figured this is where Bayley would return. Bayley’s already acing this Three Sides of Bayley thing, being so happy at one moment and so angry the next. Lyra also perfectly sold being so frightened of all that, can’t wait for more of this.
And great stuff in the Women’s World Championship story, and by extension the DMG CTRL/Kabuki Warriors dysfunction. We get the tail end of the contract signing in Pearce’s office, but I liked Asuka just barging in as always. Great match from Vaquer VS Kairi, though, and that helps Vaquer have momentum going into the title match. A little disappointed, though, that Rhea’s part with Vaquer was just to assure Vaquer that Rhea’s got next, and not also a plug for Homecoming. One little addition to the sentence and it would’ve worked just fine, but whatever. Vaquer, Rhea and Tiff are going to have a great match with Fatal Influence and might even win to add to Fatal Influence’s dysfunction. Then Iyo and Asuka arguing, you can just feel Asuka costing Iyo and spinning off into their own feud.
My Score: 8.8/10

Winner: Andrade El Idolo, by pinfall (NEW IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion)
An instant classic and an absolute shocker at the same time as Andrade has his revenge! Yota went from two belts to none, what will his journey of redemption look like?
As for Andrade, Tanahashi presents him with the belt, and Andrade holds it high. This is not only a win for the United Empire, but a win for AEW and the Don Callis Family. Andrade grabs a mic to say, “I did it.” The fans applaud, and Andrade continues by saying, “I wanna say thank you. Yota Tsuji is good, he’s an amazing talent, but Andrade El Idolo was better tonight.” The fans applaud again, and Andrade says he knows many know he is an AEW talent, but this title is NJPW’s. So Andrade will now officially be working in both companies, both companies are in his blood. And he wants to thank everyone here in Japan for watching.
Andrade says he now has a question, and it is a simple one: Who wants to challenge him? The fans applaud, and Andrade drops the mic. Andrade holds up the belt again, but wait! Stepping out in a nice suit is Drilla Moloney. But then Shota Umino is also here, still in ring gear. Andrade likes where this is going as the two challengers talk on stage. 44 Caliber and Roughneck both go to the ring, and Andrade asks if they heard what he said. So Drilla wants this title? And Shota wants it, too? Then he has an idea.
If they want this title, HIS title, why not this just be a Triple Threat for the Global Heavyweight Championship? Just say where, when, and what time. Then The RRRREAL~ Latino Man will be there! The fans cheer as Andrade is already raising the bar on this belt! Andrade says just call and he’ll be there. Andrade tells the fans, “Arigato!” The fans cheer, but will Andrade regret stacking the odds for his first defense? When and where will we see this shootout happen?
My Thoughts:
A great start to the Wrestling Dontaku double event, and quite the surprising result for the main event. While House of Torture shenanigans were 1000% expected for Narita VS Oleg, that was still a great match. But at the same time, as great as Oleg is, he was not going to become a TRIPLE champion between the NJPW Strong and both NEVER Openweight titles. Aaron Wolf stepping up to Ren is good stuff, but seriously, can Tanahashi use his authority to put ringside bans up? It’s actually bad kayfabe logic from management to not see that as an option.
But as I was saying, amazing main event, and Yota losing is pretty wild. I suppose even if this was Yota Tsuji VS Gabe Kidd, Gabe winning would’ve worked in story, too, positioning this title as a crossover title between NJPW and AEW. Yota’s story of making a comeback will be an intriguing one. Perhaps he uses the G1 Climax as his road back. As for Andrade being up for the Triple Threat with Shota and Drilla, that’s pretty cool, too. I don’t see Andrade losing his first defense, but a Triple Threat is a classic way to keep all parts strong no matter the result.
My Score: 8.9/10
