Andrew’s TNA Bound For Glory Results & Match Ratings: 10.12.2025

Bound For Glory is TNA’s WrestleMania. With the way they always try to build it up as something special, this year was no different. The Dudleyz vs The Hardyz one more time, Mike Santana’s return story hopefully paying off and Maclin getting a rematch for the International title against Kaz has some heat even if it’s just a rematch clause situation.

Tessa versus Gia will hopefully be entertaining, because I don’t expect that to be a great match. Leon Slater is being pushed but he’s terrible. So I have no interest in that, and while it’s not Indi Hartwell’s fault, the TNA Knockouts title match has no heat, is uninteresting and a speed bump at best. We can only hope its a decent match because there is no story so it’s nothing to sink teeth into.

Lets see if the show outkicks the poor episodes leading into the event and is enjoyable.

Results:

TNA International Championship: Frankie Kazarian (c) vs Steve Maclin

Maclin comes out hot as Kaz tries to get away, but Maclin goes on the attack early. Bouncing Kaz from pillar to post until Kaz catches him with a Sunset Flip onto the floor as Maclin gets caught coming back in. Kaz takes a short lived momentum swing until Maclin hangs him up in the ropes, goes for the Caught in the Crosshairs, but Kaz sits up, tries to hit the Cutter, but Maclin turns it into a Chicken Wing attempt, Kaz turns it around with some dirty tactics, the referee breaks it up, and we get some back and forth. Kaz drops Maclin, goes for the Guillotine Leg Drop,  but Maclin catches him into the backbreaker. Kaz powders and eats a SCUD, both fight back into the ring, Kaz hits the Pele Kick to stun Maclin, drags him to the top rope and looks for the Fade to Black from the Top Rope, but Maclin bites Kaz’s ear, Kaz trips up Maclin, so Maclin is in the Caught in the Crosshairs position. Kaz goes for the insult to injury, but Maclin sits up as Kaz posts himself (looks awkwardly timed), but Maclin turns it into a Caught in the Crosshairs for him, connects and hits the KIA, Maclin regains the championship!

Tessa Blanchard w/Victoria Crawford vs Gia Miller w/Jody Threat

Tessa isn’t taking her seriously, but Gia comes out with the Dark Angel kind of vibe and some entrance music that sounds like Evanescence, so it works for this angle. Snapmare from Gia into an Inside Cradle, Tessa slips it, retreats to the ropes, Gia charges and gest Stun Gunned, then Tessa stomps her head into the steps and Tessa is obviously irritated by Gia’s early flash attempts so she Suplexes her onto the steps to make an example of Gia. Tessa beats the hell out of Gia in front of her family. Tessa adding the solid heel elements. Tessa throttles her in the ropes, distracts the ref so Vix slaps Gia. Victoria gets involved again in front of the referee, and the ref kicks her out.

After throwing Gia out, Tessa confronts Security so Victoria isn’t taken out, Jody dives on everyone…so she technically just hit Tessa…how is that not a DQ? Gia fires Running Thesz Press, into a Monkey Flip and Crossbody but it was short, I feel bad for Tessa’s knees. Gia runs into a Boot, 10 Count Punches, Tessa tears the pad off the top Buckle, tries to slam Gia’s head into the buckle, Gia headbutts Tessa, looks for a Powerbomb and Tessa clocks her with the Loaded Fist, and Tessa wins but needed to cheat.

Slightly better than expected, but when Gia was on offense it looked bad, but she is supposed to be an Interviewer pushed to the limit. So slightly less egregious since story dictated she wasn’t a “wrestler”. 

Bound For Glory Call Your Shot Gauntlet

Lei Ying Lee is the first entrant, as we know from the qualifier a few weeks ago. Our little Kung Lao/Kitana hybrid better win. Xia Brookside is apparently ill, so it would be a better story for Lei to win starting at 1. Mara Sade is two…okay…Mara can win too. Yes, I’m bias. The both try to eliminate each other quickly, they have decent mutual respect but no eliminations happen. Ryan Nemeth is third, they should both eliminate him immediately. The Knockouts are teaming up on Ryan, admittedly…I’m jealous of Ryan. Mara and Lei can hit me as much as they want. Nic Nemeth is next, Mara gets in his face, Slaps him and Superkicks him. Lei then starts lighting up Nic, they try to take out Nic, but Ryan saves him. Cedric is fifth, and goes after the Nemeths as the women sell. PKs and Dropkicks for both Nemeths, Cedric tries to take out Ryan but Nic saves him again.

Rich Swann does still have a job…oh. He’s sixth and the crowd is dead silent. They do the Cruiser doofus open with the Double Dropkick, then Rich claws the eyes and does his little dance as AJ Francis comes out seventh. Lei feeds into AJ and he just chucks her into the corner, Mara climbs on AJ but gets eliminated. Lei tries to jump at AJ, he catches her and eliminates Lei. Rich tries to celebrate with AJ but AJ goozles him and tosses out Rich. The losers who were with Northern Armoury come out next and the bald on enters, I don’t care, he’s a basic indie nerd with no marketable look. BDE the YouTuber turned wrestler counters AJ’s Downpayment into a Cutter, but Nic Nemeth Superkicks him and AJ looks to eliminate him…ALL OF THE RASCALZ come in next. Rascalz and BDE Superkick AJ Francis out of the ring.

Dani Luna eats a Superkick from Myron, and German Suplexes him, and Trey, beats on bald nerd jabroni loser. Eric Young is next and hopefully he kills the jabroni. EY gets leveled by the Jabroni, Jabroni almost eliminates him, they do dumb things on the apron, EY Piledrivers Bald Jabroni into the Apron and he gets eliminated. Jake Something is out next, Dani and Jake do Stereo Powerbombs. BDE is eliminated by EY. Rosemary is next out. Trey and Cedric Alexander are eliminated. Hometown Man is next out! Jake is eliminated by HTM. Zack Clayton with Little Guido is the next entrant. Rosemary was eliminated by Dani then Dani gets eliminated by HTM. Jody Threat has no reason to be next, but she is. Kaz levels Jody before she gets in, Kaz claims he’s the next in, pie faces Santino and Santino takes off his badge. Santino is next. Cobras the shit out of Frankie but he’s technically not out. Santino is immediately eliminated by Nic Nemeth as an homage. Cardona is next and eliminates Zach Clayton immediately and then he levels Guido for fun. Nemeths team up on Cardona and Mance Warner is the last entrant. Wentz & Myron are eliminated. Mance attacks everyone with a chair, Cardona tries to stop him, but everything breaks down into a few singles matches. HTM skins the cat, tries to eliminate EY, they fight on the apron, EY kicks HTM in the nuts so he falls, Cardona eliminates Eric, Cardona eliminates Mance. Nemeths gang up on Cardona.

Kazarian is technically not eliminated, Ryan grabs Cardona from the apron, but Nic Superkicks Ryan as Matt dodges. Mance drags out Cardona. Ref bump immediately so Kaz doesn’t get the flash win, Nic connects with the Superkick as a new ref enters but only for two. Slingshot DDT from Kaz, but Nic kicks. Simultaneous cover, two referees, controversy on who won. Santino decides they both win.

TNA Knockouts Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) vs Indi Hartwell

Headlock takeovers, Headscissors, kind of a rough open with both looking for grabs and flash covers. Kelani with the wrestler’s bridge out of a Cradle into a Back Slide for only two. They take a beat and then Indi Scoop Slams Kelani, Kelani tries a Shoulder Tackle, Indi stands tall, Arm Drag takeover into a Jacknife cover and Indi puts the brakes on to not eat the Dropkick. Jordan tried an Up and Over out of the corner, but Indi side steps it, Kelani bounces her out of a corner and hits a Twisting Guillotine Leg Drop for two. Kelani tries to Springboard but Indi catches her and immediately into the Spinebuster for a two. Indi hangs Kelani in the ropes, Uppercut, Push Kick and a near fall, before locking in the Surfboard Stretch. Kelani barely gets out of the submission and desperation Lariat has both women selling. They do the Fighting Spirit back up to their feet, Kelani uses her speed to knock Indi down a few times, Cartwheel Back Elbow into the Kip-Up, kick to the gut, Indi turns it into a Spicolli Driver, but Kelani hits her Split Cutter for two. Single Legged Boston Crab from Lani. Indi manages to shake Kelani off and Kelani powders out. She climbs the ropes, Crossbody but Indi rolls through but Kelani keeps fighting turns it into a Small Package but no. Powerbomb from Indi for another near fall.

Kelani  catches Indi’s foot and goes for the world’s slowest Feint Kick. Frog Splash from Lani, for only two. Indi powders, Kelani tries to a Plancha, Indi moves then slams Kelani into the apron, Big Boot, rolls Kelani back in, Indi hits the Diving Elbow drop onto Kelani’s spine and only a two. Locomotion Cradles, Body Scissors from Kelani countered into the Hurts Don’t It, but Kelani had to go for a weird rope break. Indi goes to the top, Kelani is up, cuts off Indi. Looks for Spanish Fly…but Indi fights off, Elbow to the Spine misses, Kelani hits the kick to the face, Indi eats One of a Kind, Kelani retains!

Hardcore War: The System vs Order 4

Jason Hotch is first out for Order 4. Eddie Edwards comes out in full NOAH green and white. Wally the Boston Red Sox mascot, comes out with Eddie, bumps Hotch so Eddie levels Hotch, a few early shots, throws the trash can at Hotch as he’s charging and then Kobashi Chops his back. Eddie wants silence for the big NOAH Chop. Hotch sells, but tries to turn it around only for Eddie to duck and hit another NOAH chop. “Give him the chop” means something different when you tell Eddie to do it and not the Atlanta Braves. Skyler is next out, Slingshot Spear slows down Eddie so Hotch starts to slowly come back to life, they hit The Favor on Eddie onto a chair. The Good Hands are choking Eddie and here comes Dango, with a Patriots Helmet. Tornado DDT after the Patriots Helmet shots and Helmet to the nards sends Skyler out to powder. Dango with the Escalera into the Hands! Dango grabs a Cheese Grater and Skyler gets the ECW treatment. Here comes Tasha!

Tasha comes out in a Yankees Jersey for cheap heat, and a baseball bat. She bats clean up and the hands help Tasha do a sloppy Leg Drop onto Eddie’s face with the chair over top. Lish comes out and the Kendo Stick versus Baseball bat fight, as Lish is laying in the shots. Skyler tries to stop Lish but Lish whacks Skyler. Eddie grabs a staple gun because Sami is a retired, so Skyler gets a face staple, Hotch gets a dick staple and Tasha gets on in the butt. Agent Zero is next, and of course he cleans house. Myers is out next without a weapon? He throws the already out there trash can to distract them, hits the Hands with trash can lid and hits Zero, but Zero no sells and Choke Bombs Myers into the trash can. Lish is alone with all four members of Order 4 as Ali walks out next with a sledgehammer. Eddie tries to protect Lish, but eats offense, the whole Chairshot and Stomp thing looks stupid. Moose is the last one out, the Great Hands try to attack early but Moose handles them, catches Ali and Powerbombs him onto the Apron. Moose walks out with a chain, stares down Zero and they slug it out. Moose hits Zero with the Van Terminator, but Zero drops him over, and then System all attack, Zero flies into the pile and like that, he’s not interesting anymore. You just turned him into every other doofus who dives.

Tasha has a barbedwire Kendo stick and Lish pulls out the bag of thumbtacks. Tasha misses the Kendo, Lish clocks her and Zero is in, Zero no sells, breaks it, Chokebombs Lish onto the tacks. Everyone unleshes on Zero, Moose grabs the chain to add to the spear, Myers and Dango take out the hands, but Eddie keeps checking on Lish, so Ali attacks Eddie. Ali pouts tacks on Lish and looks to 450 Splash Lish. LISH ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! Ali eats all tacks! Eddie wraps his knee in Barbed Wire, BARBED WIRE BOSTON KNEE PARTY! The system wins!

X Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs Je’Von Evans

Nothing special early on, some counter stuff, playful personality stuff, but nothing of note. Locomotion Cradles with flair, counters and again, nothing of real merit, just goofy Indi “anything you can do I can do better” crap, that’s not a story. Finally they land a few chops, Jevon slightly overshoots the Dive but connects enough. Leon pushes Evans off of getting bouncy and then connects with a Plancha as they’re playing cat and mouse. Crossover from Leon for two. The Bouncy Rebound Headscissors gives Evans some momentum, Dive into the Slingshot Lariat for a near fall. A hard Irish Whip from Evans and he tries another near fall just to make Leon kick out. Leon tries to block the Suplex but Jevon gets him over and dances a little after. Leon hits the Rewind Feint kick into the Lethal Injection and both are down for a few.

Leon runs the ropes, ducks lariats, Shotgun Kick into a two count. Jevon punches out of Utpoia, but Leon pulls off the Slingshot Cutter for a near fall. Jevon cuts off Leon, on the apron, Jevon wants a Suplex through the French table, but Leon blocks it, and they brawl. They do stuff, Leon ends back in the ring, Leon tries another Slingshot but Jevon turns it into a Satellite DDT, then he hits the OG Cutter on the apron and Jevon hit his left hip on the apron before falling to the floor after. Slater makes it in at 9, Jevon catches him with a Springboard Splash, Jevon hits the Zone One for 2/3rds of the way across the ring, but still only a two count.

Back and forth Forearms, Kicks, Leg Lariats, Evans hits a Hurricanrana, Evans hits the Red Dot, goes for another OG Cutter but Leon catches him in a Backbreaker. An actually appropriate Fighting Spirit spot next. Slater challenges Evans with putting his hands behind his back, waits for the strike and hits Back to Back OG Cutters but only for two. Evans gets cut off going to the top, Slater and Evans fight on the ropes. Both fall and bounce off the apron, landing on different sides of the floor. They brawl, Evans shoves Slater into the crowd and then Dives after him. As Evans is heading back to the ring, Leon flies after him and then the bell rings. 20 Minute Time Limit is called…? I didn’t know there was a time imit. Santino’s music hits and he’s probably going to the continue the match. 5 more minoots is declared.

Leon eats a Busaiku Knee off the bell, OG Cutter attempt but Leon rolls him up for two, Utopia gets hit and Evans powders just to eat the stupid ring post jump move. Evans cuts off Slater, Spanish Fly with a twist, LIGHTS GO OUT? Dark State? Dark State attacks them both, wow. Dusty Swerve.

TNA & NXT Tag Team Championship Tables Match: The Hardy Boyz (c) vs Dudley Boyz

Spike comes out with them for the entrance, gives them the classic Dudley glasses. Not sure if Spike will get involved later in the match, but it’s nice to see Spike come out with them. The Hardyz bring a Ladder and a Chair since the Dudleyz brought the tables. Unofficial TLC match. 

Jeff charges and Bubba chucks him, Matt charges Devon, they hit a 3D on Matt quick. Devon gives him the sign of the cross and they set their eyes on Jeff now. Jeff swings wildly at both Dudleys, Jeff goes for a Whisper but Devon and Bubba do the Samoa Joe walk away. WAZZUP! “Devon Get the Tables”, the crowd is crazy alive for this. 3D through the table on Jeff. Jeff is down, but Matt comes in with the chair and causes a miscommunication where Devon clocks Bubba accidentally. Matt and Devon brawl on the outside. Matt hits the Twist on Devon, lays Devon on a table and looks to even the score. Devon rolls out of the way and Matt goes through the table. Jeff gets a second wind and attacks Bubba.

Devon and Jeff fight up the ramp. Bubba sets up another table for Matt and start peppering him with punches. Matt puts the brakes on, Bubba smashes into the table but it doesn’t break. Devon and Matt climb a ladder, Matt gets the best of things, and Devon slides down the ladder as Jeff and Matt team up on him and try to put Devon through the table. Jeff looks to Swanton Devon from the ladder. Jeff hits the Swanton through the tables, Jeff may have hit his head on the bottom rung of the ladder, but he seems okay-ish and it counts as one table takedown. So both teams are down to one more. Bubba and Matt, first to get driven through a table will lose the match for their team. The Hardyz go at Bubba with Chairs, are we gonna see a Con-Chair-to? No, just normal chairshots and Matt sets up a table. Jeff looks to Sabu a a chair into Bubba, but Bubba moves and Matt eats the chair. Two Twists of Fate on Bubba, Swanton from Jeff, Bubba is alone and getting leveled. Chairshots continue, Bubba tries to get up using the table, and the Hardyz stalk Bubba, Bubba looks at the situation and nods, allowing the Hardyz to do a Tandem Uranage to put him through the table. It was probably supposed to be a “I love You” HBK and Ric Flair spot, but it came off a little lame honestly.

Nothing overtly terrible, just the pacing was weird and the finish was flat, the crowd seemed to enjoy it, but from the PPV perspective it was a little underwhelming to put it nicely. 

TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs Mike Santana

Trick was doing his own intro announcement and Mike just kicks his damn head off. The bell didn’t even ring and Mike is beating his ass on the outside. Trick takes the whip, jumps the barricade, and tries to use trash cans but Mike blocks it and beats on Trick up the steps. Trick finally connects with a kick to turn things around and walk Santana back down, Santana turns things around and drops Trick on the apron. Mike slaps hands with some fans, turns and eats the title belt to the face. Trick wants the bell to ring, Trick kick connects after the bel officially rings, two count, Landslide, two count again, Santana eats the Flapjack and eats the Ground and Pound. Trick looks smart as hell currently as Santana is laid out and Trick bathes in the Boos.

Santana swings wildly, Trick dodges, does his little Mohammad Ali dance and hits the Spin Kick and Neck Breaker on Santana for a two count. Trick back hands Santana and Santana gets pissed and fires up. Trick gets rocked, but drops Santana to the outside so Trick can catch his breath. Double Leg and Rocket Launchers Santana into the ring post. Santana got color and Trick makes sure the camera catches it before he hits him a few more times, Scoop Slam onto the floor and grabs the steps but misses. Santana jumps off the steps and a Superman Forearm clocks Trick. Back Body Drop from Trick sends Mike into the second half of steps, as Trick gets back in the ring, potentially waiting for a Count Out. Trick does the Booker T 5 Time Pose as he waits, Santana comes in at 8 and eats a Leg Lariat for a near fall.

We see a Front Chancery from Trick, but Santana is trying to ram Trick into the corner as the crowd tries to rally him. Trick charges, Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles for a near fall. Enzuigiri from Mike, perches him, but Trick pushes him off and Trick lands a Blockbuster for two! Trick throws Mike into the corner, a few Chops, Trick tries another but Santana counters, Trick ups and overs but eats the Rolling Buck Fifty, Outlined in Chalk and Cannonball for…only two. Mike drags him to the corner, possibly looking for the Frog Splash. But Trick pops up, and shoves Santana off the top and bounces off the apron and then face first into the post. Trick talks shit to Mike’s daughter and she slaps the shit out of him.

Santana lands a Tope con Hilo, Enzuigiri, Sitout Powerbomb for two, but Santana has the momentum. Mike drops Trick, goes up again, Froggy? Oh 450 Splash! 1-2-Kick out! Trick’s lawyer is out there now, causes a distraction so Trick tries the Cradle no, catches Santana twice with the Book Ends! Trick goes to the top and Mike with the Yakuza Kick to stop Trick. Brawling on top, Avalanche Book End! 1-2- Mike kicks out! Trick goes to grab his belt, his frustrated, Trick swings it kinda stupid, Cradles, Spin the Block misses, Trick Kick connects but Mike goes with it for a Spin the Block! 1-2- Trick kicks out and rolls his arm over and pins Mike back, another two count as both men are selling. The Lawyer is arguing, STB on the Lawyer, Trick Shot off the distraction! BUT MIKE KICKS OUT!

Trick is sizing him up, Trick Shot miss, STB miss, Book End countered, Diving Lariat connects from Mike! SPIN THE BLOCK AND MIKE SANTANA WINS!

Nic Nemeth’s music hits but then the lights go out. ELIJAH! GUITAR SHOT ON NIC! But Kaz is in the ring, but apparently he needs to trophy to cash in, so Mike Spins the Block on Kaz to stop the potential cash in. 

Overall Score: 6.25/10

Well let’s be completely honest, this show…was a mess. Kazarian and Maclin feel like it had time shaved because it was a little quick, Tessa and Gia was bad when Gia was on offense, but since she’s supposed to be an Interviewer, its almost forgivable, but still bad. Indi and Kelani wasn’t a good match. The Gauntlet was corny, but we’ve seen tandem winners before and this gives Kaz and Nic something moving forward not needing a direct title picture. Je’Von and Leon was a spot fest, but it was fairly entertaining so giving two cock tease finishes is Dusty Swerve bullshit.

WarGames match was okay, Lish hit her spots well, but Agent Zero has lost all mystique and just looks corner now. He looks like Big Cass if he shrunk in the wash. Dudleyz and Hardyz wasn’t bad, the finish just tried too hard to be artistic and it should’ve been more of a direct match instead of a wannabe Japanese or Flair/HBK send off, because it felt forced and not as emotional in the moment.

The main event was overbooked but damn good, so it could’ve had less bullshit, but I’m not really mad about it. If Mike lost or the cash in happened, that would’ve made this a terrible show. So it stuck the landing, but this was a rough ride. Elijah returning is nice though. So it steered out of being a pile of crap by the end…thankfully.
