AEW shares footage from after WrestleDream.

Hangman Page was being checked on by medics as he asked Samoa Joe, “Have you lost your mind in the twilight years of your career? I gave you your shot, and you failed! You’re embarrassed. Have you lost your mind? Have you lost your mind?! I warned you, did I not? I warned you. Joe, when I find you, I am going to ruin your damn life!” The Cowboy is ready to rip Joe apart, but will he look to do that as soon as tonight?

AEW World Trios Championships: The Opps VS The Hurt Syndicate!

Speaking of Samoa Joe, he leads Katsuyori Shibata & “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs to the ring, all three of them having turned their backs on Hangman Page. Will their disrespect and dishonor get them defeated and dethroned by Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin & Montel Vontavious Porter? Or will The Opps show The Hurt Syndicate how to truly hurt people?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and time to see who is truly #NeverLacking!

The trios stare down but the ref wants them to sort out. Both sides stand down, and Shelton starts against The Wrestler. They tie up, Shibata headlocks, but Shelton powers out. Joe gets away before the ref notices, and the ref keeps Lashley back. Hobbs goes out to drag Shelton up, and whips him hard into railing! Hobbs CHOKES Shelton, the ref reprimands, and Hobbs puts Shelton back in the ring. Cover, TWO! Hobbs tags Shibata, Shibata stomps Shelton, and Shibata has a toehold. Joe smirks and JABS Shelton! And JABS! JABS! JABS! The ref counts, Joe drags Shelton up, and Joe snapmares Shelton into a chinlock.

Shelton endures, the fans rally up, but Joe leans on the hold. Shelton fights up, fires body shots, and is free! But Joe SHOVES Shelton down and stomps away at the ropes! Winners: The Opps, by submission (still AEW World Trios Champions)

Ricochet regroups with Kaun & Liona, The Demand satisfied that the Syndicate lost. MVP, Lashley & Shelton rush Ricochet, Kaun & Liona and they run away to the back! Is the war between them and the Hurt Syndicate still not over? Meanwhile, Tony Schiavone joins The Opps in the ring, and Schiavone says after a classic match at WrestleDream, fans want to know why Joe did what he did to Hangman Page. Joe takes the mic to say, “First of all, I wanna say what a pleasure it is to be here in San Antonio tonight.” The fans do cheer that, but Joe says, “You gotta understand, when you have a man like Powerhouse Hobbs around, it’s good to have these big ol’ FAT San Antonio women around to keep him occupied!”

Hobbs pretends he’s lifting said fat San Antonio woman, and then pretends he buckles under the weight. Joe continues to say he will address, “Why, Joe, Why?” And it’s really simple: Because Joe exists! As long as Joe is on Earth and you call yourself a champion, he comes hunting for you. As long as you stride this Earth thinking you’re the man, the very best there can be, just know that Joe is waiting to show you that you are NOT. The fans cheer for #CowboyS*it, but Joe says much like the fans say, “Hangman Adam Page, you may think that this is just some cowboy s*it, but rest assured, just like every one of you slack jawed Texans in here, I will slap your cowboy ass and make you my b*tch, just like everybody else has made every sports team in this state!”

The fans boo but Joe says if you haven’t noticed, what stands before you are The Opps, they stand in opposition to everybody, and rest assured, they are #NeverLacking. The Opps head out, but will Hangman make sure Joe eats those words?

Backstage interview with Kris Statlander.

Renee Paquette is with The Galaxy’s Greatest AEW Women’s World Champion, and notes her successful title defense against Toni Storm. Kris says if there’s anyone she could’ve stripped with, cuddled with, beat the s*it out of, and then made up, well, she’s glad it was Toni Storm. Renee brings up how moments later, Mercedes Mone appeared to challenge Kris to a title match for Full Gear. Kris says that she doesn’t need a celebration tonight, because she is not focused on what she did, but on what she’s going to do. And since we’re making history and all, Kris beat Toni Storm twice. Has Mone? Kris won the AEW Women’s World Championship. Has Mone?

If Mone thinks Kris is the same person Mone beat last year at Full Gear, well, Kris promises you she is so much more. Mone may have broken glass ceilings, but Kris will soar past them and take this title to heights we’ve never seen before, and Mone is coming along for the ride. Full Gear, AEW Women’s World Championship, Kris VS Mone, challenge accepted! Oh, and… Have a nice celebration tonight. Kris heads out, but how will The CEO respond?

Darby Allin is here!

San Antonio cheers as The Relentless One makes his way out, carrying the AEW banner. The very banner he brought to the top of Mount Everest, the very banner he used in the I Quit match, and Darby sets it down gently over the AEW logo. Darby bows and kisses the banner while the fans cheer him on. Darby has a mic to say, “Before I climbed Mount Everest, there were a lot of people saying I was irresponsible, and I could never really be the face of this company. Because I was gonna get myself killed, and it’d be really bad for PR. But I’d like to argue the exact opposite. Because I’m willing to go places for this company no one else is willing to go! I will die for this place!”

The fans cheer Darby again, and he takes off his jacket as he continues, “The marks on my body from Saturday tell a story. I may have said, Jon, ‘Oh, he said I quit.’ I was never gonna say I quit Saturday. But I’m wearing the scars today.” The fans cheer that! Darby says he ain’t stupid. He knows the Death Riders won’t go away just like that. So he’ll tell Jon something: As long as The Death Riders are breathing, Darby Allin isn’t far behind. The fans cheer that! Darby has made it clear that this is far from over. Will Darby make sure the Death Riders believe him before the night is over?

Jurassic Express speaks.

Jack Perry says, “I haven’t had a real, serious, competitive match since January of this year. My lungs are burning, my muscles are aching, we haven’t had a tag match like that in what feels like a lifetime. That brings us to right now. We just beat the most legendary tag team of our generation! Maybe the greatest of all time. People wanna know: Why this? Why now? Why were we out there? We were out there for reformation, reclaiming everything that we lost. Things that we thought were impossible to lose! A name, a reputation, a feeling of wanting to give this everything that you have because it’s what you love more than anything in the world.

“And starting now, we are here to take it all. And eventually, whoever has our AEW Tag Team titles…” They’ve called their shot, but will Jack & Luchasaurus be aimed at Brody King & Bandido? Or will another team step in the way before then?

The fans fire up as Megan then coordinates with Ford.

Ford climbs, Megan builds speed, and the Megasus DIVES while Ford ARIHARA MOONSAULTS! The Top Goddesses wipe out the competition while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref checks Ford, she is clutching an arm from her rough landing. Megan drags Aminata up, puts her in the ring, and she storms in after her. Megan has Aminata in a corner, KNEES her low, KENES her again and again, then brings her around, only for Aminata to fire forearms! Aminata runs, but into a LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Ford falls, Megan staggers, and Willow runs! Hayter snags the tag before the POUNCE on Megan! PERIOD! The fans are thunderous but Willow doesn’t even know she’s out as she drags Ford up. This wild card team just hit the jackpot! And Hayter isn’t waiting, she grabs the mic! “Isn’t tag team wrestling just fantastic?” The fans cheer that! Now, since they won, Hayter doesn’t think they should wait to choose their pick. Sisters of Sin~! You’re a pain in the ass, so they choose you! LET’S HAVE IT! The fans like that choice! Will Aminata & Hayter reach for the Skye and break their Hart? Or will the “Hater Queens” regret this move?

The Young Bucks are outside Tony Khan’s office.

Much like a couple weeks ago, Nick Jackson is banging on the door, he knows TK is in there, and he wants one more money match. Renee Paquette walks over to ask what is going on now. Matt says TK must be gone, and Nick says they’re desperate. Renee says yeah, we can see that part. Matt says she must love this, huh? No, she does not. But coming out of WrestleDream, they lost out on that $500,000, what is next? Oh, what’s next? They don’t know, they’re broke! Can’t you see they want TK to give them another money match? Nick says they will wrestle anyone, team with anyone, so please, open the door!

Matt says shoo, Renee. Renee leaves, and now TK opens the door. TK says hey, guys, been awhile. Yeah, it has. But TK says yes, he heard what they were saying, and how they want a big money match. They’d team with anyone against anyone? Yes! Okay, then how about… The Bucks take on Jurassic Express and JetSpeed. What? 4v2? No, no, it’ll be $400,000 in a 4v4 All Star match. This Saturday, right here in San Antonio, it’ll be JetSpeed & Jurassic Express VS Young Bucks and… These guys. FTR walks out of TK’s office! The Bucks are a bit taken aback, and Matt says hey, they have a checkered past, but-

Nick says water under the bridge! They need this money, so this sounds great. Big Stoke says the holidays are coming up, and he feels The Bucks need this more than he does. Stoke shoves a $1 bill into Nick’s chest! Hah, funny. But Nick does hold onto it… Then can Matt, Nick, Dax & Cash work together for the reward? Or will Jack, Luchasaurus, Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey just add even more money to their bank accounts?

AEW returns with Renee Paquette in the ring.

With balloons at the corners and a table at center, Renee reads off note cards as she says, “Ladies and gentlemen, the woman that’s about to join me in the ring in mere moments has had a historic and record-breaking weekend. Please, allow me to enlighten everybody. This past Friday, she became the longest-reigning TBS Champion in history. And what did she do to celebrate? She successfully defended her CMLL Women’s World title in Arena Mexico, and then Saturday at WrestleDream, she broke Ultimo Dragon’s belt record when she defeated Mina Shirakawa for the Interim ROH Women’s World Television title, making her Eleven Belts Mone.”

The fans are torn, but Renee continues by saying Mone then went to Winnipeg, Canada and won the WPW Women’s Championship. That is number TWELVE! Mone demands that we celebrate her here tonight, so without further ado, The CEO, “Ultimo” Mone! The fans are again torn as Mone makes her entrance, a dozen men preceding her, each one holding one of Mone’s titles. But wait, MUPPET MONE appears in the ring! “San Antoniooooo~! Please say hello to your CEO~!” The fans cheer, and Muppet Mone thanks Renee for the introduction. Mone is the best to do it! Three countries, three record-setting victories in three days!

Wait, don’t they say bad things happen in threes? NEVERMIND~! Muppet Mone is a global champion, just like she said she would be! Now let’s do the dance to celebrate Mone! You, too, Renee! Move them hips! C E O! C E O! But then the real Mone makes her way out here. And she’s the only one not amused. Mone has them cut the music, and has her “belt boys” get to the back. They leave, and Mone goes to the ring. The fans duel, “C E O!” “C E NO!” Mone has Renee step forward, just to tell her to get out. Renee obliges, the fans boo more, but Mone stares down Muppet Mone. “Harley. What the hell do you think you’re doing?!”

Mone says all the stupid little marks wanna mock her? They wanna laugh at her after everything she’s done for AEW and for Women’s Wrestling!? Harley echoes that in a goofy voice. Mone seethes but the fans cheer on Muppet Mone. Mone tells Harley, “You are so pathetic. Wasn’t it just a couple weeks ago you were begging me to be your tag team partner? Now you’re out here disrespecting me? Laughing at me? Are you that desperate for attention? This, tonight, is about ME! This is MY moment! This is MY celebration! What I have done, becoming Twelve Belts Mone, is gonna go down as one of the greatest accomplishments in professional wrestling history!”

Ultimo Mone will be talked about for years to come! But the stupid little marks wanna laugh at her!? The fans cheer that! Mone sighs and says she is tired of the disrespect. So if you wanna laugh at something, laugh at this! Mone SHOVES Muppet Mone into the cake! All that yellow frosting is all over the puppet! Harley peeks her head out to see the mess, and then Mone grabs her by her hair! But someone else sneaks in! KRIS STATLANDER Electric Chair Lifts Mone! And SLAMS her on the cake!! Mone freaks out and the fans fire up! But then Kris drags Mone up to CHOKE SLAM her through the table!

The fans are thunderous as Kris and Harley get the better of Mone and ruin Mone’s moment! But will The CEO be in even worse shape after she and Kris battle it out at Full Gear?

AEW shares footage from after WrestleDream.

Jon Moxley says he did not deliver on what he promised. “Tonight, it was your strength that was the deciding factor. Your absolute unwavering commitment to self-destruction tonight was your strength that was the deciding factors. And one of these days, Darby Allin, that is gonna be your downfall. Tomorrow, the sun rises again, we get out of bed, we get back to work. We get back to the work, our unwavering commitment to being the best every single day, 365 days a year, giving everything we have. Our only competition is ourselves. There is absolutely nobody in professional wrestling who does what I do, who does what we do, who can hold a candle to the standard that I set, that we set.

“Sometimes, you make a promise, and you give everything you have, and you really believe you can pull it off. I really believed, I swear, I thought he was gonna fold. I believed in my heart that he was, so he made me a liar. But no matter what happened tonight, I know exactly who I am when I look in the mirror.” The Maniac is not giving up, but will he be able to break through Darby’s unwavering spirit?

Jon Moxley w/ Marina Shafir VS Kyle O’Reilly!

We just heard what The Maniac had to say after suffering defeat, but The Conglomeration is ready to bounce back from their own setback at WrestleDream. Willow, Orange Cassidy, Tomohiro Ishii, Mark Briscoe and even Roderick Strong accompany Kyle out here, will The Violent Artist win this one for the team? Kyle rises up, Moxley eggs him on, and Kyle kicks, KICKS, and KICKS! Moxley blocks another kick to trip Kyle, tie the legs up, and he has a BRIDGING DEATHLOCK! It’s almost like a reversed Muta Lock! Moxley still hits Kyle again, then he clamps on with a GUILLOTINE FACELOCK! But the Conglomeration hurries back out here! They go after Moxley for what he did, but the Death Riders rush out here to go after them! These teams were set to have their rematch anyway, so might as well do this now rather than later! Will the Sussex County Chicken, Freshly Squeezed & The Savior of the Backbreaker avenge not only Kyle but themselves from the Tailgate Brawl? Or will the Swiss Cyborg, Decoder & Red Death just add insult to injury tonight?

Roddy writhes, the fans boo, but Garcia YANKS Cassidy down to send him into railing, and Dynamite goes picture in picture!

Claudio drags Roddy up, puts him in the ring, but Briscoe goes after Garcia. Garcia CLAWS Briscoe’s eyes, and Yuta runs up to CLUB Briscoe. The ref reprimands everyone, but the brawling on the outside continues! Garcia sends Briscoe into railing! Claudio tags Yuta, they mug Roddy, but Roddy CHOPS Yuta in return! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Roddy CHOPS Yuta off his feet, but Yuta trips Roddy to then stomp him down! Yuta keeps Roddy down, he tags Garcia, and they both stomp away on Roddy! Garcia soaks up the heat while the ref reprimands. Garcia drags Roddy up, bumps him off buckles, and then climbs up to rain down fists!

Garcia goes to nine, puts up his dukes, but then hops down because he doesn’t dance anymore. Garcia bumps Roddy off buckles, tags Claudio, and they mug Roddy more. Claudio snapmares Roddy, covers, ONE! Claudio clamps on with a chinlock! Roddy endures, pries at the hold, but Claudio even traps one of Roddy’s arms! Roddy suplexes, Yuta fights it, and he snap suplexes after all! Yuta goes up the corner to ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Yuta keeps on Roddy but Roddy JAWBREAKERS free!

Roddy reaches out, but then decides NOT to tag!? Yuta DROPKICKS him down for it! Yuta drags Roddy away, tags Garcia, and Dynamite returns to single picture! Backstage interview with Mercedes Mone.

Alicia Atout is there as The CEO returns backstage, still covered in frosting and very much upset about what happened earlier tonight. Where is everyone? Where is the makeup department?! She shrieks in anger, but Athena walks in! The Forever Champion tells Mone to calm down, this is her best look yet. Mone says don’t even start with her! Athena says hey, she’s here for one reason. They’re both here to make history and build legacies of their own. Mone is the longest-reigning TBS Champion, #UltimoMone, whatever that means, and Athena is the longest champion on ALL of ROH history.

It is time they do this again, as AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions. Mone calms down, brushes frosting from her hair and face, and says Athena has a point. Title number 13! Yes, let’s clean Mone up and get her Minion training started! Minion training?! Aw hell no! But Athena is still bringing Mone along, but can these two historic champions with massive egos make it work as a Two Woman Power Trip? Or will it all fall apart before it even begins?

Kyle Fletcher is here!

San Antonio fires up as The Protostar makes his to the ring, Don Callis right behind him. The Jackal hands his guy the mic, but the fans tell Callis off. Kyle hugs Callis to console him, then says, “San Antonio, say… my… full… name.” At WrestleDream, Kyle defended his TNT Championship, for the sixth time in the matter of months! And he did so by putting down one of his greatest rivals to date, Mark Briscoe. Now the tally might read three for Kyle, two for Briscoe, but it will not continue back and forth. It is DONE between Kyle and Briscoe. Kyle has proven definitively that he has Briscoe’s number!

They could wrestle a million times, and Kyle would beat Briscoe a million times, only further proving that Kyle will be our TNT Champion for a very, very, very, VERY- WAIT! Briscoe makes his way out here? Briscoe has a mic to say, “Hey, Kyle, as you grow up, young man, you gonna learn that you don’t gotta talk so much all the damn time.” The fans cheer that! Briscoe says he done did his work for the night, got a victory, was gonna get up outta here, but Kyle’s running his mouth, talking about a million times this, a million times that. Briscoe won’t let Kyle talk that BS and not come down to retort.

So, short and sweet, it don’t need to be a million more times, just give Briscoe one more shot. Briscoe ain’t making excuses and he ain’t begging. He’s been icing up the balls all week long, but that’s beside the point. To hell with a million more, Briscoe just needs one more shot! What’s Kyle say? Callis whispers something to Kyle, the fans sure agree with “One More Shot! One More Shot!” Callis tells Briscoe that he has something to say to Briscoe. Briscoe is a great wrestler, no question. He is also a great athlete, Callis respects Briscoe’s ability, but Briscoe’s sounding desperate to Callis. It is very off-putting.

But why wouldn’t Briscoe be desperate? He’s got like ten kids at home, that is a lot of hungry mouths to feed! How does Briscoe even focus? But when Briscoe has a family of ten hungry mouths, that’s not a family, that’s a financial burden. Briscoe needs as family like The Don Callis Family, but he doesn’t have it! See, the Callis Family all supports each other! They’re not bloodsucking leeches that just wanna take! So as great as Callis thinks Briscoe is… Callis can’t tell Briscoe what he wants to hear, only what he needs to hear. And that is “NO!” Briscoe has been denied, but will he find a way to force the issue?

The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament is now set!

With Jamie Hayter & Queen Aminata choosing the Sisters of Sin earlier tonight, that is match-up number one! Then we will see Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford VS TayJay, and Willow & Harley will take on the newly formed duo of Mone & Athena! Then last but not least, Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa look to be more than just friends with benefits as they take on Riho & Alex Windsor! The opening round begins next week on Dynamite, but who will make it all the way to the gold?

Backstage interview with Mina Shirakawa.

Renee Paquette is with #MinaNow, and Renee brings up the brackets. It is no surprise that Mina teams with her best friend, Toni Storm. Mina says she has not heard from Toni since Saturday, and it makes sense as Toni is very sad over losing alone. But now, they’ll do this together! They will be the Timeless Love Bombs! They love, they fight, and they will win the tag- But in steps Thekla. The Toxic Spider mocks Mina over losing both title and girlfriend. But Mina hasn’t lost everything yet. She still has her mind, her dignity, and her life. Mina pushes Thekla’s hand away and reminds Thekla of their feud in Japan. Mina will fight her here, too. ON COLLISION!

Thekla says of course! She’d love to! And if Mina thinks Toni’s sad now, she will cry when she sees what Thekla does to Mina. Thekla leaves, but Mina says shove it! Will Mina build up some momentum for her and Toni here in San Antonio?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

We heard Hangman’s comments from after WrestleDream, but this Saturday, we will hear from Hangman in person! What will The Cowboy have to say about Samoa Joe’s disrespect? Then after the brawl tonight between Conglomeration and Death Riders, Tomohiro Ishii will go 1v1 with Pac! Will the Stone Pitbull take a bite out of The Bastard? We will also see Hook in singles action after the great tag team victory last Saturday, as well as the $400K All-Star 8 Man of JetSpeed & Jurassic Express VS FTR & The Young Bucks! Collision is back on Saturday, 8 PM Eastern, on TNT and HBO Max, don’t miss it!

AEW Unified Championship: Kazuchika Okada VS Bandido!

The Rainmaker and Alpha did fall apart and lose out on the AEW Men’s World Tag Team Championships, and The Outlaw got the pin! Will Bandido shock the world by becoming a TRIPLE CHAMPION at Okada’s expense? Or can Okada still make it rain?

The introductions are made, Okada’s belt is raised, and we see if it stays Okada’s belt after tonight!

The bell rings and the fans are fired up already. They circle, tie up, and they’re in a deadlock. Okada uses his height to push Bandido to the ropes, but Bandido turns things around. The ref counts, Bandido lets off slowly, but Okada kicks low! Okada headlocks, Bandido powers up and out, but Okada RUNS him over, only for Bandido to kip up! Bandido KNEES low, headlocks, but Okada powers up and out. Okada then hurdles, but Bandido slides under! Bandido shoves Okada, gorilla press, but Okada slips free! Bandido shows finger gun and Okada drops back! The fans fire up while Okada cools off and stands back up.

The fans duel, Okada tries to swat the finger gun but Bandido slips it through. Okada kicks low, CLUBS Bandido down, then brings him up. Okada whips, Bandido tilt-o-whirl RANAS, and the fans fire up as Okada bails out! Bandido builds speed to slide, but Okada avoids it! Bandido pursues, Okada hides, and Okada sneak attacks with a kick! Okada wrenches Bandido’s bad arm, then CLUBS it, all in front of Bandido’s extended family! Okada refreshes the ring count, drags Bandido up, and he wrenches the arm to CLUB it again! The fans rally but Okada CLUBS Bandido again. Okada has the cording hold, the fans boo, but Bandido fires shots!

Bandido uses the apron to go up and over and ARM-DRAG! The fans fire up for Bandido as he hurries after Okada, and he puts Okada in the ring as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Bandido has the fans fired up again and he goes to the corner. Bandido climbs up top, aims, but he fakes out Okada’s antiair! Bandido wags his finger and hops down to have the legs, JAPANESE LEG ROLL CLUTCH! TWO, and Bandido knees low! Bandido CLUBS Okada again and again, then runs, but into a FLAPJACK! Okada stays cool, stalks Bandido to a corner, then goes outside to drag Bandido out. Okada wrenches the bad arm, hammerlocks it, and RAMS Bandido’s arm into the POST! Bandido slumps down, Okada looms over him, then he drags Bandido back into the ring. Okada stalks Bandido, looms over him again, and kicks him around.

Bandido rises up as Okada scuffs him and taunts him. Bandido fires body shots and chops, but there isn’t much to them. Okada BOOTS Bandido down! Okada paces around, waits on Bandido to rise, then drags him up. Okada turns Bandido to a NECKBREAKER! Cocky cover, TWO! Bandido is still in this but Okada grins as he paces. Okada drags Bandido up again, CLUBS him again and again, then looms over him again. Dynamite returns to single picture once more, and Okada brings Bandido up. Okada scoops to SLAM Bandido, then he goes to the corner! Standard formula and Okada hits the MACHO ELBOW!

Then Okada winds up, for the Rainmaker MIDDLE FINGER! The fans boo, but Okada ripcords, only for Bandido to duck under! Bandido goes up the corner, TORNILLO! Bandido bounces off the cover but he hurries back to BOOT Okada down! Okada bails out, Bandido DIVES, direct hit at the ramp! The fans fire up and Bandido rises up! Bandido hurries back into the ring, he wants to go again! Bandido builds speed to FLY! Down goes Okada and the fans are thunderous! Bandido feeds off that energy, and he has San Antonio behind him! Bandido puts Okada in, runs up, SOBAT! KNEE! SUPERKICK!

Okada goes to a corner, comes back, but Bandido handsprings to headstand! And then he kips up, and he DROPKICKS Okada down! Bandido puts Okada in the drop zone, goes up the corner right away, and gives some Latino Heat! FROG SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Okada survives and the fans are thunderous! They chant for “EDDIE! EDDIE!” as Bandido and Okada go to opposite ends. Okada is on the apron, Bandido hurries after him, but Okada HOTSHOTS Bandido! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Okada rolls in. Okada drags Bandido up, the fans rally even harder, but Okada wrenches the bad arm!

Bandido fires forearms, but Okada CLUBS the bad arm! Okada scuffs and kicks Bandido, then drags him up again. Okada gut wrenches, SHOULDER BUSTER! Okada grins while Bandido writhes. Bandido bails out and the ring count starts. The fans rally up again, and they even tell Callis off. Doc Sampson wants to check Bandido’s arm, but Okada hurries to put Bandido back in! Okada drags Bandido up, wrenches, and CLUBS away on it! Okada YANKS the arm, then gut wrenches, but Bandido fights to turn that around! But Okada fights free! Bandido goes corner to corner, STINGER SPLASH into BOOTS!! Okada gets Bandido up, ripcords, but Bandido slips around! TO STEAL RAINMAKER?!?! The fans are thunderous as Bandido gets Okada up! X KNEE!! Okada flounders, third time’s the charm! BLACKJACK- NO, Okada slips out the back! RAINMAKER!!! Cover, Okada wins!!

Winner: Kazuchika Okada, by pinfall (still AEW Unified Champion)

Okada had a calculated counter to Blackjack, and now Don Callis and the entire family is in the ring to celebrate! Okada hugs it out with CLØN, Trent Beretta, Mark Davis, Lance Archer, and so on. But wait, Konosuke Takeshita waited to be fashionably late to the party! The IWGP World Heavyweight Champion stares down the AEW Unified Champion, but Callis and Kyle work to settle things down. Okada’s cocky grin doesn’t help things, but will The Alpha (not) settle for being the second son?

My Thoughts:

An awesome episode for Dynamite to follow WrestleDream. Though, there are some rather disappointing moves in the stories, because they aren’t moving on! While we got a great Trios Championship match to open, I’m disappointed that they’re still doing more with Hurt Syndicate VS Demand. Ricochet costing Hurt Syndicate was apparently the only way they could let Opps VS Syndicate finish. I still stand by my opinion that Opps going Heel was a stupid move, because just listen to how the fans loved Hobbs stepping to Lashley. Joe still gave a great Heel promo, but I still don’t see the need for the turn. Good promo from Hangman to call out Joe, though.

Very good promo from Moxley to react to his loss, and very good promo from Darby, but I guess Darby isn’t done with the Death Riders. That’s a bit strange as opposed to Death Riders not being done with Darby, but clearly Darby has The Conglomeration as his allies in that fight now. Great match from Moxley VS O’Reilly, and even Moxley punching the ref was great, I don’t think I’ve seen such a blatant way to get disqualified. Great Six Man Tag to follow right after, and great win for Conglomeration. Ishii and Pac showing up to brawl and set up their own match is good stuff, and I feel like we’ve got our Men’s Blood & Guts now: Darby & Conglomeration VS Death Riders.

Very good promo from Kris to call out Mone, and great “celebration” segment. Harley trolling Mone with the puppet was great, and naturally Kris joined in there to throw Mone onto her own cake. Athena showing up to become Mone’s tag partner is pretty wild, but at least Athena’s finally back. The Fatal 4 Way Tag was a lot of fun, and great win for Hayter & Aminata. Them choosing Sisters of Sin made sense given this ongoing build, but having Blood & Guts right before the tournament finals (which I presume is Full Gear on November 22nd), risks messing up those finals if some big scary spot goes awry. I almost thought Ford got hurt here tonight, and she was doing a pretty standard moonsault.

Very good promo from Mina and Thekla to set up their match, that’ll be good stuff. Very good promo from Fletcher and Callis with Briscoe to tease a sixth showdown, but guess we’re not getting it. Honestly, a lot of these overdrawn feuds are hurting the TNT Championship scene. Darby, Ricochet, Garcia, Roddy, maybe even Shelton, could be fighting it out to face Fletcher next, but they’re all tied up in those faction showdowns. But hey, awesome main event from Okada VS Bandido, and a great win for Okada. The Don Callis Family all gathering was great stuff, mostly because of the great stare down and tension between Okada and Konosuke.

Okada VS Konosuke could certainly be set up for Full Gear, but there might need to be a draw of some kind to keep them both strong. Or maybe Okada does win to retain the Unified title, and then Konosuke gets his win back in the Continental Classic. There’s also what NJPW has planned for the IWGP World title for WrestleKingdom 20 that might factor in, Konosuke needs to look strong going into that PPV.

My Score: 9/10

PLAY BY PLAY

MJF arrives backstage.

Renee Paquette is there to bring up tonight’s main event is Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW World Championship. If Darby Allin wins, MJF will then have to sign a contract for Title VS Hair at Double or Nothing. Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…

And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Cutler, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?

10 Man Tag: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks VS Tommaso Ciampa, David Finlay, Clark Connors & FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway!

While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? Or will the Psycho Killer, the Dogs, and the Top Guys all stand tall on the road to Double or Nothing?

The teams sort out and the teams just brawl it out! The fans cheer as The Bucks have The Dogs, Cope is after Ciampa, Christian is after Cash, and Dax brawls with Cassidy! Dax bumps Cassidy off buckles but Cassidy ducks the haymaker to waistlock. The Bucks, Cope & Christian clear everyone else out, then take the brawl outside! Dax ROCKS Cassidy to send him out, and  the fans fire up as Matt fires hands on 100 Proof right by commentary! Ciampa whips Cope but Cope reverses, sending Ciampa into barriers! Cash sends Christian into railing, then CLOBBERS Cassidy! Nick fires hands on Finlay, Cassidy sends Cash into railing!

Cassidy and Dax meet in the ring, Dax ROCKS and CHOPS Cassidy, but Nick sends Finlay into railing! Dax DECKS Cassidy, throws hands on Cope, but Cope fires back! The fans fire up but the ref reprimands! Cope DECKS Dax, and wait, Christian and Cash are brawling in the crowd! Same for Matt and Connors! Finlay CLAWS Nick’s face, Cassidy ROCKS Dax, and Cassidy whips. Dax reverses, Cassidy goes up and out to then SMACK Dax off buckles! Cassidy goes up, Ciampa BOOTS Nick, and Dax trips Cassidy. Dax CHOPS Cassidy, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans boo but Dax stands Cassidy up, SUPER DUPER PLEX!

Dax then rolls through to suplex again, but Cassidy STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRES! Cassidy runs, tilt-o-whirls, and DDTS! Cassidy kips up, the fans fire up, but Finlay sends Nick into steel steps! #BigStoke grabs Cassidy’s foot, Cash CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax puts Cassidy in the corner to tag Ciampa. FTR and the Psycho Killer mug Cassidy! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Ciampa stands Cassidy up. Cassidy blocks the chop! And he blocks another chop! The fans cheer but Ciampa kicks low and CHOPS again! The fans boo but Ciampa soaks up that heat. Ciampa drags Cassidy by a leg, turns him over, but Cassidy fights around!

Cassidy kicks and kicks but Ciampa drags him back! Cassidy turns to BOOT Ciampa away! Dax tags in and he CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax flips them off. Dax whips Cassidy, runs up, but Cassidy dodges! Dax POSTS himself! Both men are down, hot tags to Cash and Nick! Nick rallies on FTR with haymakers, BLASTS Ciampa, but Cash kicks low! FTR whips, DOUBLE HIP- NO, Nick lands out, MEETING OF TEH MINDS! Then DOUBLE WHEEL KICK! The fans fire up as Nick then DROPKICKS Dax out! The Dogs run up, but Nick knuckle locks and CHOPS Finlay! Then Nick jumps over Connors, SUPERKICKS, and he goes for the corner!

Nick goes up, up, and “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The fans are thunderous and Nick tags Matt. Nick whips Finlay, Finlay reverses, but Nick goes up and over. Matt SUPERKICKS Finlay! Nick SHINING WIZARDS Connors, adds a GAMANGIRI, then The Bucks DOUBLE BULLDOG with the high-five! The fans fire up again as Matt winds up. Matt WRECKS FTR with a dropkick, then holds the way open, Nick FLIES onto FTR & Ciampa! But Connors back suplexes! Matt lands out, and NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through, NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Polar Express is getting going, and Finlay joins the ride! DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS!

The fans are electric and it’s not just the volt green! Time for a SUPERKICK PARTAY~! Wait, Stokely grabs a foot each! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Stoke can’t even trip The Bucks up. The Bucks drag Stoke in! Stoke pleads for mercy, but FTR runs up! The Bucks dodge, mule kick, then SUPERKICK for Dax! SUPERKICK for Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on The Dogs! Then FTR is sent into The Dogs before DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Ciampa runs up to waistlock but Nick switches. Ciampa BOOTS Matt away, ELBOWS Nick, but Matt dodges, PSYCHO KNEE into Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Ciampa!

The fans fire up again, and The Bucks see C&C. They point to Christian, and the fans cheer! Christian steps in, the ref reprimands but Cope argues with the ref. This distraction lets Christian LOW BLOW Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Cash! Christian covers, TWO! Cash survives, the fans boo, but Christian rains down fists while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Christian puts Cash in the corner to CHPO, CHOP, and then rain down fists! Christian goes past TEN, maybe to fifteen, then stops. Cash sputters, Stoke talks trash, but Christian grabs Stoke! Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?

Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.

They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.

Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.

Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!

Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?

Chris Jericho speaks.

“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!

Ricochet got what he wanted, now can he handle it? Bald. The first-ever SEVEN VS SEVEN Stadium Stampede, who will even survive?

Ricochet & The Demand respond.

They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.

These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS BK Westbrook!

JetSpeed has a lot of momentum on their side, and as stated last week at Fairway to Hell, they’re looking to grab up all the gold they can. Will Speedball keep on rolling towards his own golden opportunity? Or will #Supastud prove his own worth?

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two step up. Bailey bows in respect, offers a handshake, but Westbrook goes to roll Bailey up! Bailey stays on his feet, then steps over to sit down on a cover, TWO! Westbrook ducks a Penalty Kick, avoids the moonsault, and the sweep! Bailey dodges, Westbrook tiger feints through the ropes, but Bailey handsprings up and over! The fans fire up as Bailey ducks an elbow to whip. Westbrook goes up, around, but kinda fumbles his tumble. The fans cheer and jeer him for his attempt, but Westbrook blocks the boot! Westbrook FLIPS Bailey, springboards in, but Bailey dodges! TIME ADVENTURE!

Bailey pushes Westbrook down, goes up the corner, and the fans fire up for the ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

AEW reveals the Men’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Brackets!

This year’s tournaments will go through Double or Nothing, and the finals will coincide with Forbidden Door 2026 on Sunday, June 28th in San Jose, California! You see, you’re built like an Australia grizzly bear, yet you still needed somebody to hit me in the back with a golf club for you to beat me. At Stadium Stampede, bring your friends, bring any weapon you want, and I will crack you over the skull with it. Because anything goes. But after that, it’s back to grass roots, because it is you and me, fighting for a shot at the world title at All In: London. And in the Owen Hart Tournament, I will prove to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’m a better wrestler than you. I am the FUTURE world champion!

“And if you don’t like that, F YOU!” Jungle Jack is sharpening his knife, but will his edge be razor sharp when it comes time to cut down Dunkzilla?

Ace has Ospreay down for a knuckle lock cover, ONE as Ospreay gets his arm up. Ace pushes it down, cover, ONE as Ospreay gets the other arm up. Ace tries again, ONE as Ospreay bridges! Ace TAPS, Ospreay wins!!

Winner: Will Ospreay, by submission

That might’ve been Ospreay’s first win by submission ever! He signals that his neck is no longer a problem, and he shows Ace respect for that fight. Ace accepts the handshake again, and Ospreay is moving on towards Double or Nothing with a great amount of momentum. But wait! SAMOA JOE is here! He and The Opps walk out on stage, and with mic in hand, Joe says, “Ospreay, Ospreay… OSPREAY, OSPREAY!” Joe is clearly mocking the chants for Ospreay, and the fans give genuine chanting and even singing in return. Joe says he just wanted to make sure Ospreay was listening, because these past few weeks, it seemed like Ospreay had a hard time hearing him.

Despite Ospreay’s best efforts, fate has put them on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Cup. The fans like the sound of that! Joe say she is here for one reason and one reason alone. He wants to speak about choices and consequences. Ospreay could’ve made the right choice and get a bye in this tournament, because that is what Joe would do for one of his friends. But Ospreay chose poorly. He could’ve been with the team that would do nothing but support and enhance Ospreay, but he decided to be a lapdog for Moxley and the Death Riders. The fans boo, Ospreay says he’s not a Death Rider.

Joe says Ospreay has made his choice, and come Double or Nothing, Joe makes Ospreay suffer the consequences. But Joe leaves Ospreay in peace tonight, for he has his date with destiny. But unfortunately, Joe’s friends, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, still feel slighted, and he doesn’t put leashes on his friends. Shibata & Bowens storm down the ramp, Ospreay ready to fight them both if he has to. But then The Death Riders appear! Ospreay may not have officially joined the club, but the Death Riders aren’t going to let their investment go to waste! The Opps say they’re #NeverLacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now!

Shibata & Bowens back down while Moxley, Marina, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia & Pac all step up to support Ospreay. Joe says, “Soon. Soon.” The fans cheer the Death Riders, or at least Moxley, but Bowens promises Joe is gonna kill you, Ospreay! The dream match for Double or Nothing is on, but will the training with The Death Riders make Ospreay the new King of Harts?

BREAKING NEWS for next week!

If you liked last week’s THREE HOUR block of AEW, then you’ll love this next one! Portland, Maine, the last Wednesday before Double or Nothing, Dynamite & Collision are combining forces again! Three hours all on TBS and HBO Max, make sure your DVR is set accordingly!

Backstage interview with Don Callis & Konosuke Takeshita.

Renee is now with The Invisible Hand & The Alpha, saying tonight is a huge opportunity in the main event, Konosuke facing Darby Allin for THE AEW World Championship. Konosuke could be heading into Double or Nothing as a- Callis stops Renee there to say Konosuke will be heading into Double or Nothing as a DOUBLE champion! But then MJF steps in, apologizes for the interruption but says Renee’s doing a great job. The Scumbag tells Konosuke that while it’s been a minute since the two of them have talked, three years actually, back when MJF beat him… MJF has seen Konosuke develop into truly one of the best wrestlers in the world!

MJF believes that tonight, Konosuke beats Darby for the title, goes to DON to beat Okada, and MJF can’t think of a better match than Konosuke VS MJF Part 2 for the world title. How’s that sound? MJF offers a handshake, Konosuke shakes his hand, but in Japanese, Konosuke tells MJF that he’ll beat the crap out of him. Thankfully, MJF doesn’t know Japanese. Callis says that was a nice pep talk MJF just gave, and MJF says yes, he knows. That kid needs to win, okay? MJF can’t let Darby turn him into some disgusting, bald freak! No offense, Callis looks great. But look, there is only one foolproof way to know MJF won’t be put in that situation.

So if things get hairy… MJF hands over the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Callis smiles, and say she understands what to do with it. But then in steps Andrade. El Idolo takes off his hat to shake out his amazing head of hair, and smiles at MJF. MJF frowns and leaves. Callis says here’s the deal: Takeshita will bring the world title home to the Don Callis Family tonight! Andrade asks, “How you know?” Callis says aye dios mio, he seriously doesn’t know where Andrade learned English. Andrade says one way or another, the next time, that will be HIS title. Callis says yes, he knows, it’s all good. Callis is a man of many talents, but will his family be dripping with gold thanks to a diamond ring?

AEW now announces the Women’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament brackets!

Double or Nothing will see Willow Nightingale, the reigning Queen of Harts, take on Alex Windsor, while we will see Persephone VS Hazuki, Skye Blue vs Sareee, and Mina Shirakawa VS Athena! Champions from around the world are gathering for this tournament, but who will be headed to Forbidden Door, and then All In: London?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Renee Paquette is now with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Willow Nightingale. Renee commends Cassidy on his part in the 10 Man Tag victory. But it seems that there is even more business to attend to. Cassidy says yes, the team has a shot at THE AEW World Tag Team Championships. It doesn’t matter who it is, they’re getting their shot, but the thing is… They still haven’t decided on which two will be. Kyle says Cassidy & Roddy should go for the gold, but Roddy shouts, “KYYYLE~! Thank you.” Kyle says of course. But that’s cuz he’s got gold to chase for himself!

The same man that put Kyle on the shelf for months is the man that Kyle submitted twice, and will submit again. Jon Moxley, Continental Champion, when are we doing this? Willow says speaking of gold, she is still the TBS Champion. But she is also in the Owen Hart Cup. She won this tournament before, she’ll do it all over again, so that she can have all the gold for herself at All In: London. She knows she can, and she will! Then Conglomeration has it all in order? Cassidy says hold on, there’s something missing. They should do a Word of the Day. Why haven’t they done one in so long? Roddy shouts for “MAAARK~!” And yes, Mark Briscoe returns!

The Sussex County Chicken is all fired up, and he says the Word of the day is reunification! For Mark Briscoe is back with his boys and his girls, The Conglomeration! But he’ll put this plain and simple: Tommaso Ciampa! Next Wednesday, Briscoe’s after your ass, son! You hear him? But before that, Saturday Night Collision is in HIS hometown, Salisbury, Maryland! That’s just 4.4 miles from where Briscoe originated on this earth! They’re gonna conglomerate and it’s gonna be a a hell of a time! Are you ready!? Willow and Kyle are fired up, Briscoe goes wild, and the team heads out. Cassidy admits, that was a lot of yelling.

But while The Conglomeration is ready to go Double or Nothing, will they soon have even more gold in the collection? Or are these high and lofty a little too much even for them?

Six Woman Tag: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds VS The Triangle of Madness!

With the news of both the AEW Women’s World Championship Fatal 4 Way for Double or Nothing, and the Owen Hart Cup brackets, this trios match is about much more than just settling scores! Will the Shining Samurai be just as sharp as Jamie Hayter going into that title match? Or will Thekla, Skye Blue & Julia Hart continue to bring them down by any means necessary?

The trios sort out and Jamie steps up against Thekla as both a rematch from their 1v1 title match, and a preview of what’s to come in the next. They circle, but then Skye CLOBBERS Jamie! Julia steps in, but so do Shida and Windsor! The Triangle throws hands on Shida & The Birds, then triple whip. But all three reverse, a BOOT for Thekla, a DDT for Skye, and a BACKBREAKER for Julia! The fans cheer as The Triangle bails out! Shida goes out to keep after Skye while Windsor goes after Julia. Jamie gets Thekla back in the ring while Shida and Windsor have the Sisters of Sin in the corners of the barriers. The fans cheer as they all rain down fists!

Windsor, Jamie & Shida all go to nine, then wind up for TEN! The fans cheer again while Thekla sputters. Jamie snap suplexes, but Skye ROCKS Shida! Jamie stomps Thekla, Windsor SLAMS Julia off barriers, and Jamie stomps a mudhole in the corner. The ref counts, Jamie lets off, but Skye and Windsor meet while tightrope walking the barriers! Skye and Windsor trade shots, they wobble a bit, then Skye DECKS Windsor! Skye keeps from falling into the crowd, but Jamie gets her! Windsor joins in and the Birds double gorilla press, SNAKE EYES off the apron! The fans fire up, but Thekla is up top! SUPER CROSSBODY onto The Birds!

The fans fire up again and Thekla is feeling it while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Thekla stomps Windsor, CLUBS Jamie, then helps Skye. But Shida runs up, only for Thekla to ELBOW her down! The Triangle has control again, they ROCK Jamie and Shida and Windsor, then send them all to the desk. The Triangle CHOP again and again and again! Then they wind up, but feint chops to SMACK all three off the apron! The Triangle soaks up the cheers and jeers before putting Jamie back in the ring. Thekla brings Jamie up, snapmares her down, then basement SUPERKICKS! Cocky cover, TWO! Thekla drags Jamie to the corner, tags Julia, and Julia runs up to LARIAT! Then she goes side to side to ELBOW Jamie down!

Julia snapmares Jamie to a cover, TWO! Julia is annoyed but she rains down fists. The ref reprimands, Julia stops, but then she sucker punches Windsor! And Shida, too! Julia then drags Jamie over, bumps her off buckles, and tags in Skye. Skye stomps Jamie around, then digs her boot in! The ref counts, Skye stops at 4, then she brings Jamie up. Jamie fires forearms and CHOPS, but Skye THROWS Jamie down by her hair! The ref reprimands again but Skye rains down forearms. Skye snapmares Jamie, mule kicks her, then covers, TWO! Skye frowns but she stomps Jamie down. Skye tags Julia while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Skye whips Jamie into Julia’s grasp, and Skye BLASTS Shida & Windsor while Julia tags Thekla. Julia has Jamie in the TARANTULA, and Skye sends Windsor in for Thekla’s HANGING HEADSCISSORS! Skye runs up to DOUBLE SHOTGUN The Birds! The fans are torn but Thekla says that’s how the Triangle does it, baby! Thekla then aims to MISSILE- NO, Jamie gest under! Thekla lands out, but Jamie BOOTS her down! Jamie looks at Shida, Shida is hesitant, but Shida tags in! The fans cheer as Shida sends Theknla to the corner, then JUMP KNEES! Shida keeps moving, she BLASTS Skye! Julia ROCKS Shida back!

Julia storms in but Shida kicks her and whips her into Thekla! Shida KNEES them both in the corner! Then Shida puts Thekla sideways in the corner, reels Julia in, and she snap suplexes Julia into Thekla! The fans fire up as Shida then suplexes Thekla high and hard! Cover, TWO! Shida stands Thekla up, Thekla swings but Shida ROCKS her first! And ROCKS her again! Thekla wobbles, swings, but Shida catches Thekla for another forearm! Shida runs the ropes but Thekla mule kicks! Thekla SMACKS Shida, then she dodges a boot to DECK Shida! Thekla talks trash on Shida, then drags her up to tag in Julia.

Julia tags Skye, then tag back to Thekla. The Sisters of Sin hit the DOUBLE GOURD BUSTER and DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Thekla hits the bridge, and she aims for the SPIDER SPEAR! Cover, but The Birds CLOBBER The Sisters of Sin onto it! The fans fire up a Windsor DECKS Skye and Jamie HEADBUTTS Julia! The Birds drag Shida to safety, Windsor tags in, and she CLOBBERS Thekla! Windsor CLUBS away, then fires the fans up. Jamie steps in, BOOT RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP COMBO! Basement LARIAT! And then Windsor lifts! Jamie runs up, but Skye trips Jamie! The fans boo but Skye sends Jamie into steel steps!

Thekla sends Windsor into buckles! Tag to Julia before Shida runs up, TAMASHII KNEE on Thekla! Skye SUPERKICKS Shida! Jamie is back to clinch and HAYTBREAKER! Julia runs up, slips around, SOLE FOOD! Julia kips up, but Windsor is there to whip Julia to ropes! Skye tags in before the SPINEBUSTER! Skye SUPERKICKS Windsor, then brings her up! Skye hops on, CODE- NO, Windsor pops free! Skye SUPERKICKS again, but Windsor HEADBUTTS! The fans fire up as Jamie joins in again, and they DOUBLE LARIAT SANDWICH! Then they set Skye up, and Jamie says let’s try this again!

Jamie runs the ropes, but Thekla slides in, BELT SHOT on Jamie!! No question that the ref saw that! The Triangle is disqualified!

Winners: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds, by disqualification

The Toxic Spider doesn’t care about this win, she just wants to do damage! Skye gets Windsor in a DRAGON SLEEPER! The ref stops Thekla from sing the title belt again, so Thekla just takes off her own belt! And she LASHES Windsor while Skye holds her down! More refs rush out here, but Julia MISTS the newbie in the face! Julia stomps away on Jamie, not caring about fines or consequences, either! The fans boo, and Shida is bailing on the Birds? Shida cares more about her chances in that Fatal 4 Way than anything else. But then Willow, Mina, and even Thunder Rosa rush out here! They chase The Triangle off with belts of their own!

The fans cheer as The Babe, the Fighting Gravure Idol & La Mera Mera save the day. But will Jamie make sure Thekla and Shida pay for this at Double or Nothing?

AEW World Championship: Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita!

They say “card subject to change,” and that is true even for the best in the world. Kazuchika Okada’s real family takes priority, but his Don Callis Family brother was more than happy to step up for this opportunity. Will The Alpha already have two belts by the time he and The Rainmaker battle over the International Championship? Or will Darby truly be relentless in his pursuit of being the best fighting champion in AEW history?

The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and we see who goes to Double or Nothing on top!

Callis joins commentary to say that while Darby’s been breaking his own body, Konosuke has perfected “rejuvenation training,” aka relaxing on a beach and sipping sake! The bell rings, and Darby SHOTGUNS Konosuke out! Then Darby DIVES, but Konosuke catches him! Konosuke POSTS Darby, then THROWS him into railing! Konosuke THROWS Darby into the ring, the fans fire up for both guys, and Konosuke hurries to BOOT Darby off the apron! Darby falls in front of commentary but Konosuke gets him right back in the ring. Cover, ONE!! The fans rally as Darby shows his grit, but Konosuke snarls.

Konosuke drags Darby up, Darby fires forearms, but the ALPHA ELBOW knocks Darby down! The fans fire up while Konosuke looms over Darby. Konosuke stands Darby up, and THROWS him into a corner! Darby bounces off the buckles and is bleeding from the mouth already! Konosuke stands Darby up, hoists him up top, then he climbs up after him. But Darby BITES Konosuke, CLUBS him down, and leaps for a CROSSBODY, but he bounces off Konosuke! The fans fire up again as Konosuke whips Darby for a BACKDROP! Darby got serious hangtime there, and he flounders out of the ring. Darby coughs and sputters but the fans rally up.

Konosuke goes out after Darby but Darby SMACKS him! Konosuke KNEES low, KNEES him again and again and again! Konosuke KNEES Darby against the barriers, then refreshes the count. Konosuke whips Darby hard into railing! Darby sputters as he leans against the railing, but Konosuke positions the steel steps. Konosuke then fetches Darby, lines up a shot, but Darby fights the suplex! Darby CLAWS Konosuke’s back, then fires a shot. Konosuke DECKS Darby in return! Darby slumps against the steps, Konosuke runs up, but Darby dodges! Konosuke’s knees hit the steps and he tumbles over! Darby then runs up the steps to SHOTGUN Konosuke down!

The fans fire up while both men are down on the floor! Konosuke checks his knee before he crawls around, and Darby gets in the ring so he can build speed! Darby DIVES! Direct hit on Konosuke but Darby’s the one who hits the desk! The fans fire up while both men are down again, but Darby rises up to get Konosuke on the apron! Darby fires forearms, then goes up a corner! COFFIN- NO, Konosuke catches him for a SUPER BLUE THUNDER BOMB to the floor!! The fans go nuts again and Callis says that’s the end of Darby Allin, but Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref hurries to check Darby but Callis tells Doc Sampson to call it. Darby is somehow still in this, so Konosuke storms his way over. Konosuke drags Darby up, puts him in the ring, then paces around him. Konosuke runs the ropes to LARIAT! Darby flips inside-out, Konosuke covers him, TWO!! Darby still has fight inside but he’s also dazed. Konosuke clamps onto Darby with a chinlock and squeezes tight. Darby endures, even as Konosuke leans on him with his much-taller frame. Darby reaches out, fights around, and rises up, only for Konosuke to CANADIAN RACK BOMB! Darby sputters all over again while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Konosuke sits back as he watches Darby crawl to the apron. Konosuke storms his way over, but Darby RAMS low! Slingshot sunset flip, but Konosuke rolls through! Only for Darby to kick the legs out! Darby catches Konosuke to a GUILLOTINE! Konosuke endures the squeeze, fights up to his feet, and he powers out to THROW Darby! Darby lands out, fires shots, and RAMS low! Darby then hops on, but Konosuke stops Code Red! Konosuke swings Darby around, tucks him in, BASTARD DRIVER! And WHEELBARROW GERMAN! The fans fire up and Callis says that’s true power! Darby sputters again and Konosuke vows to end this.

Konosuke runs corner to corner, HELLUVA KICK!! Then he hoists Darby up top, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans freak out already for the SUPER DUPER GERMAN SUPLEX!! Bridging cover, TWO!!! Callis is freaking out as much as the fans, and he protests the count! Konosuke is furious, but he aims for the WAGAMAMA KNEE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Darby survives by nanoseconds, and Konosuke is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” but now CLØN rushes out here! He distracts the ref, and Callis hurries to take the Dynamite Diamond Ring off his finger to put it in Konosuke’s hands! Konosuke thinks about it, but The Alpha has honor!

The fans cheer as Konosuke wants to do this his way! But then Darby runs up, cradles, TWO!! Konosuke escapes, ALPHA ELBOW!! Darby is down, dazed, but still moving! Konosuke drags Darby up again, goes back to the corner and back to the top rope. The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow! Darby fights against the lift with headlock punches! Then he hops on, SUPER CODE RED!! Konosuke staggers up, Darby leg scissors, steps through, LAST SUPPER!! TWO?!?! Konosuke escapes again, then bails out! So Darby just goes up top! SUPER COFFIN DROP!! Direct hit and both men are down again!

The fans are thunderous as Konosuke and Darby stir. A ring count climbs, Callis complains that some people just gotta follow directions and run the play! Coach Callis pulled Konosuke outta obscurity, Konosuke would do anything! Now he’s got some gold, some fame, and gets a mind of his own! Callis complaining aside, the ring count is climbing! Darby drags himself in at 9, but Konosuke YANKS him back out! That refreshes the count, and Konosuke vows to end this for real now. Konosuke points to the steel steps, and he drags Darby up onto them with a deadlift RAGING- NO, Darby knees Konosuke, turns things around, and FULL METAL SCORPION DEATH DROP!!!

The fans go nuts again while Konosuke writhes! Konosuke flops off the steps, Darby crawls into the ring, and Darby just climbs the corner again! SUPER DUPER COFFIN DROP!!! Konosuke might be unconscious! Darby still hauls Konosuke into the ring, pushes him to a cover, TWO?!?!? Konosuke survives and Darby is furious! But Darby just reloads, COFFIN DROP but onto knees!!! Ghost pin, TWO!!! Darby escapes but the WAGAMAMA KNEE finds him!! Konosuke hauls Darby up, but Darby pops free! Trip, step through, and SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!! Konosuke endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep!!

Callis says don’t even think about it! Konosuke almost does, but he bites his own thumb to ignore the pain in his back! Konosuke reaches out, crawls his way forward, and he fights to the ROPEBREAK!!! But Darby is right up top! COFFION DROP on the back!! Then Darby goes right back up, COFFIN DROP again!!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Callis is steaming, but Darby overcomes Konosuke to avenge that loss in the Continental Classic! But it also took so much out of him just to do it! Darby still asks for a mic and one is brought to him. Darby sits up against the ropes, has them cut his music, and he tells MJF to get his ass out here! There’s a contract MJF needs to sign! The ring crew hurries to bring in a table and some chairs for that very contract signing, and MJF makes his entrance. MJF reluctantly makes his way down the ramp, and both men meet at the table. Darby grins with blood still in hiss teeth, and he signs his part of the contract without hesitation, unlike MJF.

The fans already chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” at MJF, and Darby pushes the contract to his side of the table. MJF grabs the pen, reaches out, but then steps away. MJF scratches his chin as he thinks on this, and the fans just chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” again. MJF takes a mic to say he’ll explain something to Darby, looking like he has rabies. But see, MJF is happy for Darby, he hopes Darby’s had fun holding MJF’s AEW World Championship. The fans boo that, but MJF says deep down, there is a small part of him, like the size of a North Carolinian p*nis small. That small part of MJF feels bad for Darby, because he’ll never hold this again!

Darby’s got about a good a chance of holding this title as Hangman Adam Page does again. MJF says guys like Darby are a dime a dozen, here today and gone tomorrow, stuntmen who burn the candle at both ends. In this life, people like all these fans here like to pretend that life is about making friends and family and children. The only thing that matters in life is your legacy. And Darby’s legacy will be that of the kid who had his 15 minutes of fame. They’ll pretend like Darby made a lasting impact, but the fact of the matter is, he hasn’t. He hasn’t! They’ll know deep down that Darby Allin was just a little pr*ck who got lucky.

They’ll know that Darby was too reckless and stupid to stay on top. And after May 24th, Double or Nothing, in that sh*thole of Queens, New York, y’know what MJF’s legacy will be? He’ll go down as the guy who became a THREE-TIME World Champion at just 30 years of age, unprecedented in this sport. And MJF will go down, when it’s all said and done, as the Greatest of All Time! THAT is the difference between them! Darby Allin brags about climbing a mountaintop. But when it comes to professional wrestling, Maxwell Jacob Friedman IS the mountaintop! The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. Darby tells MJF to SHUT UP!

Only someone like MJF who is so vain would think that the number one most important thing in this world is his legacy. Darby doesn’t care about legacy, he cares about living in the moment! And in this moment, Darby just wants MJF to sign the contract. Then at Double or Nothing, Darby makes Maxwell Jacob Friedman a BALLD HEADED B*TCH!! MJF frowns but the fans cheer that! MJF grabs the pen again, and with no choice, he signs on the dotted line! Then he TACKLES Darby! The fans boo as MJF beats up Darby after the war he went through with Konosuke! MJF CHUCKS an armchair outta the ring, FLIPS the table, then picks up his Dynamite Diamond Ring.

MJF puts the ring on his finger like always, then winds up to DECK Darby!! The fans boo but MJF just soaks it all up. MJF throws off his jacket, picks up the belt, and he stands over Darby with it. But then MJF isn’t done with Darby, he puts Darby on the top rope! MJF climbs up to join him, and drags Darby into position! But wait! Kevin Knight runs out here to chase MJF off! The Jet still owes The Scumbag a receipt, but it seems we’ll all have to wait on that. Will MJF still take back the title at Double or Nothing? Or will Darby keep the belt and take MJF’s dignity?

The fans boo Davis but he soaks it up while Collision goes to break.

Davis CHOPS Jack into the crowd! Davis leaves Jack behind while the ring count climbs. Jack drags himself up while the fans cheer him on, and Jack gets help getting up and over the barriers. Ricochet hides, Davis deadlifts Jack, COUNT TO PAIN!! Cover, DAVIS WINS!

Winner: Mark Davis, by pinfall (NEW AEW National Champion)

Talk about a handicap! Callis AND Ricochet gave Davis quite a considerable one, and now Davis has his first singles title in AEW! The Jurassic Express National Tour has just been run off the road, but will Jack be able to get his revenge?

Collision returns, and Jack Perry is on the phone.

He tells someone, “Let’s do it. Thank you, guys.” Jack ends his call, then shows his frustration. Winning the National Championship in his hometown, in front of his friends and family, was one of the proudest moments of his entire life. And yet Ricochet and Callis had to end that for him. But he happens to know that Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate are looking for two more partners for Stadium Stampede. And Jack go to thinking, the show is called Double or Nothing. So how about instead of two, Jack brings FOUR! The ELITE! Jack, The Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! See you there. Ricochet may have just messed himself over, will he regret ever getting involved tonight?

Backstage interview with Don Callis, Mark Davis and Ricochet.

Renee Paquette is with the Jackal, Dunkzilla and the Bald Eagle as she says she was going to congratulate Davis on the title win, but after Jack putting out that news, what is their reaction? Callis says he’s thrilled! Jack just gifted him his ultimate fantasy! A chance to beat up Jericho, The Bucks AND Kenny, all on one night? Callis would’ve paid good money for that, and Jack, you dumbass, just gave it away from free! Ricochet says The Don Callis Family must be joining The Demand for Stadium Stampede. Well, given the way Ricochet just used that golf club, the National Champion will gladly stand beside him!

Ricochet says playing golf with Tony Khan has really improved his swing, so see you all there. Callis says yes, let’s go have a drink at the 19th Hole and talk about which of the many members of the Don Callis Family are going to join Ricochet in the slaughterhouse! Ricochet says oh yes, so many great choices to choose from! Callis & Ricochet head out, just how massive will this Stadium Stampede match get?

AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator: The Divine Dominion VS Ruthie Slay & Rachel Ley!

Megan Bayne & Lena Kross are so dominant, they don’t even think this match is going to last five minutes! But while there’s a time limit, will there be no limit to how devastating the Megasus & Aussie Amazon can be? Or will Slay & Ley manage to survive the day?

The teams sort out, Lena starts against Slay, and the clock is ticking! Slay DROPKICKS, but Lena doesn’t budge! Ley ENZIGIRIS, but Lena still doesn’t flinch! Ley & Slay double kick, but Lena blocks the double whip! Lena whips them, ELBOWS Slay and SPIN-OUT SIDEWALK SLAMS Ley! Then she scoops Slay to SLAM her onto Ley! They’ve made it two minutes but that might be all! Tag to Lena, she and Megan get Slay up, DIVINE INTERVENTION! Cover, Divine Dominion wins!

Winners: The Divine Dominion, by pinfall (denies Slay & Ley a title opportunity)

Two minutes and 15 seconds is all Slay & Ley got, will any team last even that long? Or will the Divine Dominion continue to dominate AEW until the end of time?

BREAKING NEWS for Double or Nothing!

The Triangle of Madness may have misted Persephone and injured Alex Windsor, but that only heaps on more trouble for the champion! Thekla must now defend her AEW Women’s World Championship in a FATAL 4 WAY! Thekla VS Jamie Hayter VS Kris Statlander VS Hikaru Shida, is The Toxic Spider about to get squashed? Or will she need her Sisters of Sin now more than ever?

Don Callis speaks, again.

“Just moments away from the AEW World title match between Darby Allin and Pac, and gentlemen, just wanted to let you know that the Don Callis Family, no matter who wins tonight, the Don Callis Family will be waiting for the winner. This Wednesday on Dynamite, the Don Callis Family will take the AEW World title from one of you. And y’know, it’s already been a great night, a big night, for the Don Callis Family! We won gold, but can’t wait to get some more. And on the subject of that, Okada has had to go to Japan to take care of some very important family business. But don’t worry, lads, because I have someone in mind to take his spot this Wednesday in the world title match.

“And it is none other than the firstborn of the Don Callis Family, Konosuke Takeshita, The Alpha!” Takeshita steps in, and Callis tells him, “You’re gonna be the world champion! If you listen to me like you always have, you will be successful, and you will finally fulfill the destiny that I had for you when I plucked you out of obscurity and made you the replacement for Kenny Omega. You’re the best wrestler in the world when you’ve got my game plan in your head. Go win the title.” Konosuke tells Don that he was going to take the International Championship, but now he is the person who will bring the world title back to the Don Callis Family! Unlike Okada.

Takeshita heads out, will he still make himself a double champion when he adds #PrettyPlatinum to the NJPW World Television Championship?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS Kiran Grey!

This match was on standby in case the Divine Dominion didn’t need all five minutes of their time, and now it’s a chance for Speedball to shine! But will he keep his momentum going from last Wednesday’s super show? Or will he get lost in the Grey Area?

Grey is already starting trouble as he pushes Bailey. The ref backs him off, then the bell rings. Grey runs up, but into a BOOT! Bailey then PENALTY KICKS, STANDING KNEE-SAULT, then Bailey waits on Grey. Grey ducks the buzzsaw and bails out! The fans boo but Bailey TRIANGLE JUMP MOONSAULTS! Down goes Grey and the fans fire up! Bailey daps it up with The Jet, then he climbs up the corner. But Grey goes after him! They brawl up top, Grey fires a flurry, but Bailey fires back! Bailey SHOVES Grey down, takes aim, but Grey hits the ropes! Bailey is tripped up onto his speedballs, but Grey dribbles him off the buckles!

Grey CLUBS Bailey into a Tree of Woe, then soaks up the heat before he stomps Bailey! Grey tells Bailey to stay down but Bailey grabs  that leg! Bailey uses that to drag himself back up, and he ROCKS Grey again! Bailey dribbles Grey off buckles, then HEADBUTTS him! Grey falls, Bailey takes aim, ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

Winner: “Speedball” Mike Bailey, by pinfall

A fast win for Speedball, and Knight gets the mic. he says he likes that! Speedball is red hot right now. And though The Jet didn’t get two belts on Wednesday, he’s still the Face of TNT. Now, the future of AEW is wide open, so why not they make it to the top together? They shake hands on it, will JetSpeed shift gears to become a Two Man Power Trip? What belt(s) will they aim for next?

AEW World Championship No Count Outs Match: Darby Allin VS PAC!

Anticipating how wild this one can get given the nature of their grudge, AEW decided to remove some of the obstacles standing in their way. They can’t do anything they want, but they can definitely go anywhere they want here in the SoFi Center! But will Darby even up the career series between them? Or will it be 3-1 in favor of The Bastard?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who takes this belt to Dynamite!

The bell rings and the fans rally behind Darby. Darby hops outside already, and he goes around the crowd to be on the golfing green! This is No Count Outs, so he wants to take full advantage of it already! He dares Pac to join him, so Pac heads over to the green! They fire hands on the rough and the fans fire up! Darby ducks, fires hands then HEADBUTTS Pac down! Darby brings Pac up but Pac BACKDROPS Darby! Pac then brings Darby closer to the bunker! Pac suplexes, Darby fights free, and he fires hands! Darby runs up, CODE RED into the sand trap! The fans go nuts seeing what is surely the first one of those ever!

Pac gets himself out of the sand and ends up on the fairway. Darby pursues, runs up, and ROCKS Pac1 they’re near another sand trap, and Darby SHOTGUNS Pac into the sand! The fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this madness a reality! Darby goes after Pac, but Pac throws sand in Darby’s eyes! Pac then hauls Darby up to BELLY2BELLY SUPLEX Darby into the sand trap! Darby sputters, but Pac clamps on the BRUTALIZER! The ref reprimands, this isn’t Falls Count Anywhere! But fans know “This is Awesome!” as Pac makes Darby suffer! Darby sputters again as Pac lets him go, then shakes out the sand in his boots.

Pac drags Darby up with a headlock, but then decides to fireman’s carry! And gorilla press to THROW Darby back into the bunker! The fans boo but Pac soaks up that heat. Darby sputters and coughs while Collision goes picture in picture.

Darby sputters as he sits up, but Pac brings him back around. Pac brings Darby around, dumps him down, and soaks up more heat. Pac then brings Darby along the fairway, CLUBS him on the neck, and stalks him as they return to the crowd. They then return to ringside, then the ring itself, and Pac covers, TWO! Darby toughs it out, but Pac stalks him to the corner. Pac uncovers a crossbar before he stands Darby up. Fairway to Hell returns to single picture as Pac tiles the tag rope to Darby’s chain necklace! Darby can’t get free before Pac BOOTS him! The ref reprimands, but Darby SPITS at Pac! Pac takes that defiance and BOOTS Darby again!

Pac then has Darby’s legs, and YANKS him from the corner! The tag rope breaks and Darby flounders around. Pac whips to then BACKDROP Darby 450 degrees! Pac then builds up speed, but Darby avoids the lariat! The fans fire up as Darby slingshots back in and dragon sleepers for the SCORPION DEATH DROP! Cover, TWO! Pac and Darby are both down while the fans rally up again. Darby crawls to a corner, climbs up top, and he watches Pac rise. Pac turns around, but he manages to trip Darby up first! Pac then climbs up after Darby, hauls him up, and SUPER DUPER FALCON ARROWS! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives and the fans fire up again!

Pac frowns while Darby flounders out of the ring. The fans rally for Darby while Pac takes his time going to the outside. Pac looks under the ring, and he brings out a table! The fans cheer but the ref reprimands, this isn’t No Disqualifications! Pac still sets the table up nearby, making sure it lines up with the corner. Pac puts Darby on the table, then climbs up said corner. The fans freak out, anticipating what Pac is planning, and he steadies himself as he takes aim. Pac SUPER SHOOTING STARS but only gets table!! Darby avoids disaster, and Pac is somehow still in this after his crash landing! Darby puts Pac in, trips him, and steps through!

The fans fire up as Darby steps over, SCORPION DEATHLOCK!! Pac endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep! Pac fights, claws, reaches out, and powers his way forward! ROPEBREAK! Darby lets Pac go, and Pac waves to the back. Well, of course The Death Riders are here! Darby spots Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia & Marina Shafir storming down the aisle, but then Pac CLOBBERS him! A distraction tactic is good enough as Pac now turns the proverbial tables. Then he signals for them to get something, and they bring out another table! The fans chant, “On The Green!” but Pac doesn’t care about that. He scoops Darby to go up the steel steps!

The fans boo as Pac tucks Darby in, TOMBSTONE on the steel steps! The fans go nuts as Darby flops to the floor! Wait, wait, wait, now The Death Riders have STACKED tables?! Pac smirks as he brings Darby back up, and he fireman’s carries Darby to bring him over. Darby goes to the backstage area while Collision goes picture in picture.

Pac carries Darby all the way around to the backstage area, because this is the only place to get upstairs! Pac SMACKS Darby off a wall on the way to the stairs, and the ref reprimands while Pac scares off curious fans. Pac drags Darby up the stairs with a headlock, and they go to the upper deck! Pac brings Darby past the nice bar and lounge area, the ref and Death Riders making sure fans don’t get too close. Pac SMACKS Darby off another wall, then drags Darby through this VIP seating area to go to the balcony. Pac stomps Darby to keep him down, then drags him to the balcony railing! And lo and behold, those stacked tables are right there!

The ref reprimands and the fans are freaking out already, but Pac is looking to toss Darby! Darby clings to the railing but Pac CLUBS him. Pac then drags Darby up, but Darby fires body shots! Fairway to Hell returns to single picture as Darby fights desperately! Darby CLAWS Pac’s back, but Marina shouts at Darby! The ref keeps her back, but that lets Pac LOW BLOW Darby! The Problem continues to be just that, but also the insurance policy for the Death Riders! Pac stands Darby up, and THROWS him off!! Darby crashes down through the tables!!! The fans lose their minds all over again while Pac hurries to go back downstairs!

AEW medical staff is already checking Darby as he’s down in the wreckage, but Pac says screw that! He fireman’s carries Darby and puts him back in the ring! Pac covers, TWO!!! Darby survives and the fans are thunderous! Pac and The Death Riders are in shock! Pac falls back to a corner as he shakes his head. Pac argues with the ref, but 2.99 still isn’t 3! The fans rally for Darby, but Pac storms over to him. Pac looms over Darby, Yuta slides a chair into the ring, but the ref snatches it away! Only for Marina to slide the title belt in! Pac takes aim while Darby rises, but then Darby springs to life! Pac has seen a ghost, or maybe a zombie!

Pac winds up, but Darby LOW BLOWS! And BELT SHOTS!! Darby gets Pac in place, goes up top, COFFIN DROP!! Cover, DARBY WINS!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Pac said it himself, Darby is the indestructible boy! But can Darby keep this up? Or will The Alpha come through on his promise and bring this title back to the Don Callis Family this Wednesday?

My Thoughts:

A great hour of AEW here as this special edition of Collision, though “Fairway to Hell” is such a random thing to begin with. They must’ve made a business deal with SoFi and TGL, which to me might be more AEW helping TGL get noticed on a national scale. And changing the status quo with the National Championship was quite the surprise, but that’s still great for Davis. Ricochet being the reason why, and then that compelling The Elite jumping into Stadium Stampede is a bit convoluted. I get they’re using continuity of how Kenny hates Callis and vice-versa, but it undercuts what I was hoping for in Hurt Syndicate getting to introduce new members. But hey, 7v7 is pretty wild, too.

I appreciate Divine Dominion adding something to their squash matches with that five minute goal. Slay & Ley already set a good time with over two minutes, and I’m sure two minutes will be the average as they just dominate all summer. And it seems Alex Windsor is gonna be out a little longer than expected, given that adjustment for Double or Nothing. A Fatal 4 Way is still good for how Thekla can use her challengers against each other, or be protected in a loss if they choose. It also helps bring in the Shidalander story, but it also feels like we’re skipping chapters. That Fatal 4 Way can probably get us to the team breaking up and Shida turning on Statlander for their own feud.

Bailey VS Grey probably was a legit standby match, that went quick. And Knight had a decent promo saying he and Bailey are still gonna be JetSpeed going for all the gold. Not sure if that comes true or just sets things up for the team to fall apart. And then a really wild main event with the “No Count Out” match. They probably could’ve just called that No Holds Barred but they wanted to add heat on how The Death Riders were cheating the second half of that match. Both table spots were risky, but obviously Darby did the crazier one. AEW really needs to be careful not to push it much further than that, though.

Then the news of Okada being out for Dynamite, hopefully it’s nothing too tragic with his family. But Takeshita as the substitute is a good choice, this helps build the Okada VS Takeshita match at the same time as building Darby up. Pretty sure MJF accepts the terms of Title VS Hair, and it’d be very MJF if he were to announce that while attacking Darby to close the show on Wednesday.

My Score: 8.8/10
