The teams sort out and Daiki starts against Tempe. The fans rally as the two circle, and they tie up. Tempe waistlocks, then he shoves Daiki, drops down, and hurdles over. Daiki blocks the hip toss to whip, but Tempe handsprings, rolls, and headstands, only for Daiki to KNEE low! Daiki whips and ELBOWS Tempe down, then covers, ONE! The fans applaud as Daiki keeps things moving. Daiki whips Tempe to a corner, but Tempe goes up and over, then ducks under to SUPERKICK! The fans cheer and Tempe tags Jakob. The Empire double whips to then dropdown, bypass, hurdle, and DOUBLE DROP TOEHOLD!

The fans cheer, but then Connors runs in! Jakob kicks him to the ropes, then TOSSES him out. Tempe & Jakob regroup, they mug Daiki, and Jakob CHOPS Daiki down. Cover, TWO! The fans applaud as Daiki toughs it out, but Jakob DECKS him! And UPPERCUTS him! Jakob whips, Connors tags in, DROPKICK on Daiki, but then Connors CLOBBERS Jakob! And CLOBBERS Tempe! The fans cheer as Connors then lines up a shot. Connors KICKS the ropes to jam Jakob up! Daiki goes out after Tempe to kick and stomp him around, then Connors goes outside. Jakob sputters on the apron, and Connors runs to RAM him!

The fans cheer and Connors brings Jakob around. Daiki still beats up Tempe, and then Daiki and Connors SMACK Tempe & Jakob off the apron! Then Connors brings out WHEEL-SAN! The ref reprimands so Connors sets Wheel-san down. Connors talks things over with the ref, so Daiki takes Wheel-san! And he RUNS Jakob down! And he RUNS Tempe down! Tempe runs up to RANA! Connors tumbles out, TEMPLAROONI! Tempe then handsprings to SASUKE SPECIAL! Tempe clears the ropes and takes out Connors! The teams sort out and Hiromu starts, but he wants the ref to be extra thorough in frisking Taguchi’s booty. Taguchi then steps up and the fans rally up with the bell. Hiromu and Taguchi slowly circle, step up, then back away. They feel things out, but then Gedo steps in! Taguchi senses him and turns around! The fans applaud and Gedo apologizes, but then Hiromu catches Dia into a headlock! Hiromu throws headlock punches while Gedo pokes Taguchi in the eyes! The ref reprimands, but Gedo & Hiromu whip Taguchi & Dia at each other. Taguchi & Dia dosido, only for Gedo & Hiromu to atomic drop the hip attacks!

The fans applaud, Gedo & Hiromu laugh and high-five, then they run. But Dia & Taguchi feint the hip attacks! The fans cheer as Taguchi wags his finger, and then Taguchi & Dia feint the run! Then they DOUBLE HIP ATTACK! The fans cheer while Gedo & Hiromu bail out. They regroup and calm it down. Taguchi & Dia wait, then Hiromu slides in. Taguchi stomps Hiromu, then stomps again and again. The fans laugh, they can tell he’s faking. But this is all so Gedo can sneak over and untie the white buckle pad. Gedo gives the OK and Hiromu’s arm is “miraculously” fixed! Dia kicks and whips, but Hiromu reverses! But Dia reverses! Hiromu is sent into bare buckles! Gedo runs in , but Dia sends him into bare buckles! The fans applaud the trickery biting Gedo & Hiromu on the butt. Dia & Taguchi whip Hiromu to the blue corner, HIP ATTACK, then wheelbarrow and victory roll, to the REVERSE CRAB! The fans rally up and Taguchi assumes the position, MEXICAN SURFBOARD BOOTY BUMPS! The fans cheer while Taguchi takes double-edged damage.

Hiromu sputters, Taguchi rolls out of the ring, and Dia brings Hiromu around. Hiromu backstrokes, but Dia drags him back to center. Dia drags Hiromu up to bump off the buckles, then he CHOPS! Tag to Taguchi, he climbs up in a shoutout to Great-O-Khan, to sit on his throne! HMPH HMPH HMPH! Taguchi hops down, Gedo protests, but Taguchi snapmares Hiromu. Cover, TWO! Hiromu survives and Taguchi is annoyed. Taguchi drags Hiromu up for a short BULLDOG, then brings him back around to bump off buckles. Tag to Dia, he RAMS into Hiromu, then he runs to BLAST Gedo! Hiromu endures, but Dia snapmares to STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Dia drags Hiromu up, bumps him off buckles, and tags Taguchi back in. Taguchi runs to BLAST Gedo now! Hiromu fires up, the fans are with him, and he drags Dia back up. Fireman’s carry and TIMEBOMB- NO, Dia lands out! Hiromu tries a suplex, but Dia wrenches free, runs, and REPTI- NO, Hiromu blocks and he tucks Dia in! Gedo joins in, SUPERKICK into the CRUNCHY! Cover, Taguchi breaks it! The fans laugh at poor Taguchi, and Hiromu fireman’s carries, but Dia CRUCIFIX TAKEDOWN! TWO, and Hiromu has the fireman’s carry! TIMEBOMB 1.5!! Cover, TWO!! Dia survives and the fans fire up! The two crawl, reach out, and hot tag to Gedo! Gedo runs up, to poke Taguchi in the eye! Gedo & Hiromu whip Dia to the corner, then Gedo ELBOWS! Hiromu LARIATS! Feed to the COMPLETE SHOT! Hiromu wheelbarrows Dia for Gedo to DRAPING JAWBREAKER! Cover, Taguchi breaks it again! Hiromu TOSSES Taguchi now, and Hiromu brings Dia back up. The fans fire up as Hiromu obliges! Hiromu climbs, and in honor of Guerrillas of Destiny, Gedo suplexes Dia up to him! POWER- RANA!! Dia turns things around and Gedo is stunned! HIP ATTACK! HIP ATTACK! Then DOUBLE HIP ATTACK but Gedo dodges! Gedo TOSSES Taguchi, ROCKS Dia, and whips him into the ref! POP-UP LOW BLOW! Gedo then- NO, Dia ANGEL CRADLES! DIA & TAGUCHI WIN!!

The dissolution of Roppongi 3K has given us a rivalry that will never end. The Murder Machine and his new amigo, Japones Del Mal, take on the Drive of the Grandmaster, who will move on to the finals with a spotless 5-0?

Guess what? Sho insists on talking. “Fukui is going extinct, it’s a dead town. Just like Wato over here. Listen and be grateful for your double champion, DOUKI!” Douki is handed the mic, and Douki mockingly asks, “Wato, what happened to you? You haven’t showed up like the rival you used to be. There’s miles between us!” But that’s it! Wato & Yoh attack first! The fans cheer as they CLUB #Shouki, and the bell rings. Wato & Yoh THROW Douki & Sho out, to then DOUBLE PLANCHA them down! The fans fire up for Wato & Yoh stand up, and then Wato has fans move aside. Wato then BOWLS Douki into chairs, STRIKE! Yoh does the same with Sho, STRIKE!

Sho shakes out his hands, but Yoh drags him up to suddenly BOWL him into more chairs! And MORE CHAIRS! Yoh got himself a turkey while Wato stomps away on Douki. But wait, Wato wants to go again, and he BOWLS Douki into more chairs! STRIKE! Yoh then surprises Japanese commentary as he SMACKS Sho off the desk! The fans cheer as Yoh & Wato then drag Sho & Douki back to ringside, and Wato puts Douki in the ring. Yoh joins in and they drag Douki up. Yoh & Wato double whip Douki to a corner, run in, and Wato ELBOWS Douki! Wato sets up, DRIVE IN MOTION! Then Yoh reels Douki in, but Douki BOOTS Wato away!

Douki TOSSES Yoh, fights off a German Suplex, and he RAMS Wato back into a corner. Sho then trips Wato, and Douki joins in, and they YANK Wato into the POST! The fans boo as Sho pulls Wato’s legs, digging the post into Wato’s grandmaster! Sho leaves Wato behind, but Douki drags Wato out to now wrench and whip into the chairs! Douki bowls a STRIKE as revenge, and then he CHOKES Wato with a fan’s towel! The fans boo, but Sho YANKS Yoh off the apron! Sho brings out chair after chair, but then he tells Red Shoes to go stop Douki. The fans boo as Sho then JAMS Yoh up with a chair!

Douki stops choking Wato and drags him from the chairs, just to SMACK him off another chair! Sho has Yoh in the ring, aims a chair, and JAMS Yoh up again! And SMACKS him on the back! The fans boo as Sho gets away with this, and then SMACKS Yoh again! Yoh writhes and bails out of the ring, but Sho plays dumb as to what happened. Sho then goes out to get some more goodies while Douki returns to ringside. Wato writhes as the ring count starts. The fans rally up for Wato but the count is already 6 of 20! Wato sits up at 9, grits his teeth, and crawls his way back to ringside. We already hit 15, Wato stands at 16, and hobbles at 17!

Wato stumbles at 18, but leaps in at 19! The fans cheer and Douki is amused. Douki drags Wato, runs, and DOUBLE STOMPS! Cover, TWO! Wato toughs it out and the fans rally again. Douki brings Wato up to RAM Wato into the corner, then he tags Sho. Sho RAMS into Wato again and again, then stomps him down. Sho whips Wato to ropes, and kitchen sink KNEES him down! Cover, TWO! Wato stays in this and the fans applaud, but Sho stays on Wato with a fireman’s carry. Sho puts Wato on the top rope, Douki holds him in place, and Sho gets in Red Shoes’ face. Sho then runs to TOP SHELF KNEE! Wato flops down, Sho covers, but Yoh breaks it!

Sho kicks Yoh and TOSSES him, then he and Douki put Wato in the ROWBOAT! Wato endures being pulled in all directions, Red Shoes counts, and Douki lets go. Wato still endures Sho pulling on him, and the fans rally up. Wato reaches out, drags Sho along, but Sho pulls on the arm and leg! Wato still makes the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer but Sho puts on more pressure. Red Shoes counts, and Sho lets go at 4 to tag Douki. Doouki paces around Wato, kicks him, talks some trash, but Wato grits his teeth. Wato rises up but Douki pushes him around. Wato CHOPS, and CHOPS, but Douki KNEES low! And KNEES again! And again!

Douki reels Wato in and suplexes, but Wato fights it! Wato tries, but Douki fights the suplex. Douki KNEES low, but Wato body blows, backhands, and DOUBLE CHOPS! The fans fire up while Wato and Douki are both down! Wato and Douki crawl, hot tags to Sho and Yoh! The fans fire up as Yoh CLOBBERS Sho again and again! Then he whips, but Sho reverses, only for Yoh to FLYING FOREARM! The fans fire up and Yoh brings Sho up to scoop and SLAM! Yoh powers up, the fans cheer him on, but he soaks up a bit more energy before he finally ELBOW DROPS! Cover, TWO, and KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO, and SPLASH! Cover, TWO!

Sho survives but the fans fire up with Yoh! Yoh brings Sho up, reels him in, but Sho bends fingers! Red Shoes reprimands, but Sho CLUBS the hand! Sho talks trash, but now Yoh wrenches and BITES Sho’s fingers! The fans cheer, Red Shoes counts, Yoh SPITS at Sho! Yoh runs, Sho JUMP KNEES! Sho runs, Yoh JUMP KNEES! Yoh runs, Sho uses Red Shoes as a shield! SPEAR! Sho tags Douki and Douki brings Yoh up. #Shouki double back suplex, but Yoh lands out! And double dropkicks their legs out! The fans fire up again while all three are down! Yoh crawls, rolls, hot tag to Wato! Wato runs up on Douki to SHOTGUN him down!

Wato then brings Douki up but Douki fires forearms! Wato just leans into the shots! Douki eggs Wato on, so Wato KICKS him down! The fans cheer as Wato stalks Douki to ropes. Wato KICKS, KICKS, KICKS! The fans rally as Wato snapmares and KICKS Douki, KICKS, and KICKS again! Wato fires up, the fans are with him, and Wato brings Douki up, only for Doukit o CLAW the eyes! Douki winds up, but Wato BOOTS the lariat, RECIENTEMENTE! Cover, TWO, but into VENDEVAL!! Yoh keeps Sho out while Douki endures! Douki tries to reach out, but Wato pulls on the hold! Sho gets in and stomps Wato! Yoh TOSSES Sho out, and the fans rally as Wato fires back up!

Wato brings Douki up, but he’s a ragdoll. Red Shoes checks Douki, Wato tries to lift again, but Douki is still a ragdoll. Wato forces Douki to stand, and KICKS him! Wato runs but Douki distracts Red Shoes from Sho’s CHAIR SHOT! Then Douki springs onto Wato for an ITALIAN STRETCH #32!! The fans rally for Wato as he endures, but he’s already fading! The fans rally even harder for Wato, and he gets a second wind! Sho distracts by bringing in one of the tag belts! Red Shoes misses the ROPEBREAK! The fans boo but Sho just keeps Red Shoes from seeing it! Douki then rolls Wato away to center, only for Wato to jackknife bridge! But again, Red Shoes doesn’t see it!

Douki gets up to ENZIGIRI! Douki whips, Wato reverses, Yoh CHAIR SHOTS Douki!! Payback! Then Yoh KICKS the ropes to jam Sho up! Yoh tunes up and SUPERKICKS!! The fans are fired up as Yoh calls to Wato! Wato rises, Yoh suplexes, FALCON ARROW to DIVING DOUBLE STOMPS!! Cover, TWO!! Douki survives but Yoh & Wato just fire back up! The fans are with them as they get Douki back up! Feed to the suplex, FALCON- NO, Douki slips free! Sho drags Wato out while Douki sends Yoh into Red Shoes! LOW BLOW on Yoh! Sho has the Torture Tool! SPANNER SHOT on Yoh! Sho aims at Wato, but Wato dodges and SUPERKICKS!

The fans are thunderous for Wato as he rises up again. Wato drags Douki back up, hooks him up again, TSUTEN- NO, Douki fights to the ropes, BAKING SHEET SHOT!! Roll up, SHOUKI WINS!!

Wato’s fury DID cost him! He was so determined to destroy Douki that he lost sight of everything else, including what Sho was up to on the outside! And now there is no question, #Shouki are 5-0 and going to the finals! And to add insult to injury, Sho talks some more. “I told you from the start! We’re on a different level! You losers in Fukui can listen to those losers’ apology press conference!” Sho & Douki leave, feeling good about themselves since they are, unfortunately, Super Junior Tag League finalists.

Yoh takes the mic first, and says, “Sorry, Fukui, we couldn’t win. But I still think Fukui is my favorite place in Japan. I came here and did promotion here on radio and TV, and when I said that I liked this place, they asked me where. I didn’t have an answer, but I do now- it’s right here in front of you fans. Wato, you are my best partner. I’m gonna leave, so please send the people home.” Yoh indeed leaves early, and Wato takes the mic. Wato rests on the lion mark in the center of the ring as he says, “I lost the way I did. I don’t have anything to say. But I do like Fukui.” Wato then sits up and leaves. Will Wato & Yoh be able to pick themselves up after being taken down like this?

My Thoughts:

A great final round for A Block, even with only one match still having stakes. Great wins for United Empire and for Taguchi & Dia, and this should definitely feed some story of War Dogs and Unaffiliated having tension. Connors and Gedo each seemed rather reasonable, and Connors was perhaps even encouraging towards Daiki being the Young Lion. Maybe the alliance survives, maybe not, really depends on plans for the tag titles through the rest of the year. I should’ve figured Sho & Douki would cheat Yoh & Wato, as disappointing as that is. But Yoh & Wato being NEVER Six Man champs with Yano, there’s still a story to tell there.
