The teams sort out and Yuta steps up to Price. The Code of Honor is upheld, but then Yuta ELBOWS Price down with the bell! The fans rally for Price but Yuta rains down fists! The fans boo but Yuta jump stomps Price down. Tag to Garcia, they double whip Price for DOUBLE ELBOWS! Garcia soaks up heat, then he CHOPS Price in the corner. Garcia runs up, Price goes up and over and handspirngs to then RANA! Garcia tumbles, Price runs up to whip, but Garcia reverses. Price reverses, Garcia reverses, tag to Oliver! BODY BLOW! SCISSOR KICK! BASEMENT DROPKICK! The fans fire up, but here conmes Yuta!

Oliver puts Yuta on the outside, and he triangle jump LARIATS! The fans fire up and then Price gets moving! Price FLIES out and wipes out Yuta & Garcia! The fans fire up and Price hurries to get Garcia back in. Then Oliver runs up to DOUBLE KNEE! He puts Garcia up top, Price climbs, but Yuta anchors Price! Price kicks free, but Garcia SHOVES him down! Garcia then slips free of Oliver to KICK a leg out! Yuta sends Price into railing! The fans boo but Garcia bumps Oliver off buckles. Garcia adds stomps on his way out, then Yuta hits a spinning toehold! Yuta has the deathlock, then he bridges! Oliver endures, but Garcia tags in, KNEE DROP! Oliver writhes but the fans rally behind him. Garcia reels Oliver in, but Oliver fights the suplex! Oliver suplexes in return! The fans fire up while both men are down! Both men crawl, but Yuta hurries to YANK Price off the apron! Yuta whips Price hard into steel steps! Garcia LARIATS Oliver in the corner, Yuta ELBOWS, and repeat! The cycle of violence is faster when it’s just the two! Then feed to a lift, and Yuta goes up, FLYING HART ATTACK! Then BOSTON CRAB!

Oliver endures, reaches out, but Garcia sits deep on the hold! Oliver still powers up, The Brain has brawn enough for the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer but Moxley coaches his guys up. Garcia drags Oliver around, but Oliver BOOTS him away! Yuta tags in, he drags Oliver back, but Oliver BOOTS him away! Garcia waistlocks, Oliver switches, then baits Garcia so he can leap frog and hot tag! The fans fire up but Price knows he’s in a 2v1. The Death Riders run up, Price HEADBUTTS Yuta’s forearm! Price ROCKS and CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS! The fans fire up as “Buster” keeps going! But the Death Riders shove him to ropes!

But speaking of the tag division, The Redwood & The Bounty Hunter are back in action, looking to blaze their own trail to the mountaintop! Will they make everyone RESPECT them? Or will ROH be ready to #JoinDarkOrder?

The teams sort out and Silver starts against Keith. The Code of Honor is not upheld as Keith kicks the hand away. The bell rings, the fans rally behind “Johnny Hungy!” and Silver says he wants the big beef right there! The fans fire up for that! Keith says if Bill wants in, fine by him. But then Keith kicks Silver low! The fans boo, but Keith headlocks Silver. Silver powers up and out, then DROPKICKS Keith down! Silver flexes and the fans cheer. Silver tags Reynolds in, they double whip Keith, then double drop toehold to DOUBLE BASEMENT DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Reynolds whips Keith to a corner, runs up, but Keith puts him up top.

Keith takes a swing, Reynolds blocks, and Reynolds handsprings through to arm-drag! Then RANA! Keith tumbles, Reynolds DROPKICKS him down! The fans fire up, and Reynolds brings Keith up to whip. Keith reverses, runs up, but Reynolds ELBOWS him back. Reynolds goes up, but Bill steps forward. That distracts Reynolds for Keith to RISING HEADBUTT! Reynolds tumbles, Keith tags Bill after all, and Bill CLOBBERS Reynolds while Keith BLASTS Silver! Bill CLUBS Reynolds, drags him around, and then CLUBS him again! Bill looms over Reynolds, CLUBS him again, then puts him in the ring.

Bill steps up and over the top rope, runs corner to corner, but Reynolds BOOTS him! Bill runs right back in and SPLASHES after all! Then Bill whips Reynolds corner to corner, Reynolds bounces off buckles, and Bill BACKDROPS him! The fans fire up as Bill stands over Reynolds. Then Bill sucker punches Silver down! The fans boo that, but Bill tags Keith. They mug Reynolds, Keith taunts Silver to come get a knuckle sandwich. Keith fires hands on Reynolds, but Reynolds fires back! Keith blocks to LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Reynolds survives but Keith keeps him from Silver. The fans rally as Reynolds fights up in the facelock.

Reynolds lifts Keith to BACKDROP him! Hot tag to Silver! Silver LARIATS Keith, ROCKS Bill, then sends Keith into Bill! Keith runs back but Silver OBOTS him! And BOOTS Bill! Lexy Nair was with Ace Austin in Chicago, saying he asked for this time, so it is his time. Ace says he’s been thinking a lot about his position in AEW & ROH. He hasn’t been here that long, but he wants to go right for the best, because this is where the best wrestle. Someone Ace noticed on a hot streak is Bandido, the ROH World Champion. So consider this a formal declaration, Ace wants to be in that title scene, he wants an ROH World Championship match. But in steps Rocky Romero. Ace has been here five minutes and he wants the caliber of talent like Bandido?

Oh, so funny seeing as how Rocky saw Ace’s boys, Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson, lose to FTR. It doesn’t look like the Bang Bang Gang is gonna be in any title situation any time soon. Ace says you might say Ace can’t stand up to Bandido. Makes sense, Rocky just lost to Bandido. But if reps is what Ace needs, if more matches is what Ace needs to prove himself, then how about they do that? Ace VS an ROH… Original? No… Veteran? No, that’s a bit much. But how about this, Ace VS Rocky on ROH TV. How’s that sound? That sounds mighty fine to Rocky. Then here’s his card. Ace throws Rocky an ace, but will Rocky find a way to stop The Inevitable?

Ace whips, Rocky goes Spider-Man, then he ducks Ace! Ace tumbles out, Rocky FLYING KNEES him down!

The fans boo but Rocky soaks it up. Rocky fetches Ace, cravats, and uses the post, but Ace slips free of the Sliced Bread! Ace ELBOWS Rocky, then DRIVE-BY DROPKICKS! Ace kips up on the apron, handsprings to avoid the sweeps, and PENALTY KICKS Rocky down! The fans fire up again, and Ace stalks Rocky. Rocky says timeout, but this ain’t that kind of match. Ace ROCKS Rocky, puts him in the ring, then takes aim. STEP-IN FLYING CHUCK! But Rocky catches it?! KNEE BUSTER! Basement DROPKICK! Rocky does the sliding soccer celebration! The fans boo again but Rocky goes back to Ace.

Rocky soaks up more heat, CHOPS Ace to a corner, but the fans chant “ROCKY SUCKS!” Ace fires body shots but Rocky CLUBS and ROCKS Ace in return! Rocky wrenches Ace but Ace fires body shots. Ace whips, Rocky reverses, and Rocky ELBOWS Ace down! Rocky soaks up more heat, then he drags Ace around to put in a corner. Rocky whips corner to corner, winds up, and runs in for a LARIAT! And another LARIAT! But Ace stops Rocky at three to short arm LARIAT! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Ace KNEES Rocky, KICKS him, then RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPS! And STANDING LEG DROP!

The fans fire up with Ace now and he runs corner to corner, A-LIST LARIAT! Then Ace fires more LARIATS! The fans count all the way to TEN! The fans fire up while Rocky sputters, and Ace hoists Rocky up top! ENZIGIRI, then Ace gets space! Ace runs up to jump up, FLYING RANA! Cover, TWO! Rocky survives and Ace is frustrated, but the fans rally up again. Ace drags Rocky up, but Rocky fights the suplex! Rocky wrenches out, Ace blocks a kick, ducks another, but not the REWIND HEEL! The fans boo as Rocky runs, and Rocky blocks a boot! Rocky FLIPS Ace to the apron! A bit of a slip, but Ace still RAMS Rocky!

Ace slingshots to sunset flip, TWO! Rocky high stacks, TWO! Rocky reels Ace in, Ace fights the lift to BACKDROP, but Rocky sunset flips! Ace rolls through, steps through, locks the legs, and then shifts to BRIDGE! TWO!! Rocky escapes that figure four knot and Ace can’t believe it! Rocky runs up, Ace dodges! Rocky stops from running into the ref, then he dodges Ace! Ace stops from running into the ref, but Rocky SHOVES him in! The fans boo, but Rocky throat chops, SMACKS, and runs, SHIRANUI!! Cover, TWO!! Ace survives and Rocky is shocked! Hammerstein fires up again but Rocky brings Ace around.

Rocky cravats again, SLICED- NO, Ace stops the bread! And he swings Rocky around into a suplex! The fans fire up and Ace takes aim! Ace runs up, but Rocky ducks The Fold! Rocky runs in, but only gets buckles! Ace hits another FLYING CHUCK! And now, THE FOLD! Cover, Ace wins!

ROH Women’s World Television Championship Proving Grounds: Red Velvet VS Janai Kai!

The Chef has been cooking since taking this title back at Final Battle, but she still has something on the menu for 2025. Will Velvet serve up one more L? Or will The Kick Demon have a golden ticket to the New Year?

The Code of Honor is not upheld as Kai kicks the hand away. The bell rings, we’re on the clock, and the two tie up. Velvet waistlocks, spins Kai, and cravats to a snapmare. Kai wrenches in return, hammerlocks, but Velvet stands to headlock. Velvet wristlocks, Kai wrenches and STO! Kai wrenches again for another STO! Kai steps over, wrenches again, but Velvet wrenches back to hammerlock. Velvet ripcords but Kai throat chops! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Kai stomps Velvet down. Kai brings Velvet back up, but Velvet bumps Kai off buckles! Velvet fires hands, then she stomps Kai down.

Velvet digs her boot in and does the splits! The ref counts but Velvet stops at 4. Velvet runs in, Kai dodges, but Velvet BOOTS in return! Velvet goes up, up, and CROSSBODIES into a ROUNDHOUSE! The fans are torn, but Kai stomps Velvet down. Kai bumps Velvet off buckles, digs her boot in, and the ref counts. Kai stops at 4, raises her foot, and then digs her boot back in. Kai stops at 4, snapmares Velvet, then KICKS her in the back! Cover, ONE! Kai nods, she respects Velvet’s toughness. The fans rally as Kai stalks Velvet. Velvet fires body shots, but Kai CLUBS her down! Kai turns Velvet around and TWISTS her into the DISARMER!

The fans rally and duel, Velvet fights around, and she reaches out to the ROPEBREAK! Kai lets go while the fans applaud. Kai storms up on Velvet, but Velvet fires body shots. Kai CLUBS Velvet again, but Velvet CHOPS! The fans fire up with Velvet, but Kai SMACKS and fires body shots! Kai KICKS Velvet, then brings her around. The fans rally as Kai scoops to SLAM Velvet! And then scoop and SLAM again! And then scoop and- NO, Velvet makes it a cradle, TWO! Kai KNEES low! Kai snapmares Velvet, turns her over, and stands on the bad arm! Kai stomps the shoulder! And stomps, and stomps, then hammerlocks and DRAGON SLEEPER!

The fans rally as Velvet endures this unique clutch! Velvet fights, stands, and STUNNERS free! Kai staggers, Velvet bobs ‘n’ weaves, then fires body shots! Velvet winds up, but Kai slips around to waistlock. Kai ducks the elbow but Velvet DDTS! The fans fire up, Velvet and Kai rise, and Velvet LARIATS! And ELBOWS! And arm-drags! Kai flounders to ropes, Velvet DOUBLE KNEES in the back! Velvet drags Kai off the ropes, Kai rolls her up! Velvet rolls through, Kai dodges and ROCKS Velvet! Kai runs to BOOT WASH! Kai keeps moving, RIDER KICK! Kai drags Velvet into a half nelson, but Velvet switches!

Velvet roll Kai, Kai stands, and Kai blocks a shot to lace the arm and ROUNDHOUSE! The fans fire up, Kai KICKS and KICKS and KICKS, then runs to PENALTY KICK! Velvet writhes, Kai grins, and the fans fire up! Kai prepares her kick pad, but Velvet ducks the Dreamcast kick to just DECK Kai! Cover, Velvet wins!

Winner: Red Velvet, by pinfall (denies Janai Kai a title opportunity)

The kitchen stays hot as that left hand cooks Kai! But Velvet still shows the Code of Honor by shaking Kai’s hand again. Will The Chef keep serving L’s even in 2026?

My Thoughts:

A very good ROH for YouTube to get just a bit of the material from the Hammerstein Ballroom weekend out before the end of the year. Another good showing from Price & Oliver, but of course they lost to Yuta & Garcia. It is a bit funny for the Hammerstein crowd to still boo Yuta & Garcia when Moxley essentially turned face at World’s End in Chicago. Bill & Keith got a very good win off Dark Order as they returned to action, and maybe ROH is where they can go for the tag titles, as Sammy Guevara & Beast Mortos need some good competition. And good stuff in the filler matches, Davis and Satnam each winning of course.

We also got good video packages that I skipped, as Thursday’s regularly scheduled episode has the dream team tag match of Bandido & Lethal VS The Swirl. I still think if Blake is going to get his shot at the title, Lethal is taking that loss for Bandido’s team. But even then, the Faces could win and Blake could throw a fit and demand a match. Either way, they gotta get us Bandido VS Blake at some point. Ace wanting his shot is a fitting move, and Ace VS Rocky was a really good match. Ace of course won, maybe Ace faces the winner of Bandido VS Blake. And then a very good main event with Velvet winning over Kai on the Proving Grounds. There are a lot of women that can step up to Velvet, both signed to AEW/ROH and independent, can’t wait to see who else gets a chance.
