“So tonight, Chantel, there’ll be no more excuses. I beat you when I was on my way to winning this championship, and I’m gonna beat you again to retain it. So get ready to step into the Grey Area, where Kendal Grey only stands tall.” The Arm Breaker is ready to shatter Chantel’s dreams, but will she stay the top woman in Evolve? Or will the Showstopping Diva stop the reign?

Carlee Bright VS Arianna Grace!

Kendal’s bubbly bestie is also ready to be back in the ring, but she’s up against the Pageant Queen. Arianna just lost last night to Thea Hail, will she be in any mood to lose again? Or will the future of Evolve be Bright?

The bell rings and the fans rally up behind “CARLEE! CARLEE!” Arianna tells them to quiet down! They tie up, Arianna puts Carlee in the corner, then lets off to pie face her! Carlee steps up but Arianna pie faces her again! And again! Then she SLAPS Carlee! Arianna mocks Carlee, but Carlee SLAPS back! Arianna freaks out and protests, and Carlee asks what is wrong with her. Arianna runs up, Carlee dodges, and Carlee DROPKICKS! The fans cheer, and Carlee storms up on Arianna in the corner. Carlee whips, Arianna reverses, but Carlee goes up and over. Carlee ducks ‘n’ dodges, then DROPKICKS again! The fans fire up while Arianna goes to the corner.

Carlee runs up, ELBOWS Arianna, and Arianna sputters along ropes. Carlee whips, Arianna avoids the dropkick this time, and she grabs Carlee’s legs. Arianna stomps away on Carlee’s stomach, then rolls her to stand her up. Arianna runs to SHOULDER TACKLE Carlee out of the ring! Arianna “apologizes” while she brushes herself off. Then she goes out to fetch Carlee, and shouts, “You made me do this!” She SMACKS Carlee off the apron, RAMS her into it, and then says hello to the fans. The ring count climbs, Carlee checks her face, and Arianna says to take pictures now. Do it! The ring count is 5 of 10, Arianna pushes Carlee in, and she says she knows what she’s doing.

But Carlee rolls her up! TWO, and Carlee BODY SHOTS! And BODY SHOTS! And then HAYMAKERS! Carlee whips, Arianna reverses, and Arianna KITCHEN SINK KNEES! Arianna stands Carlee up, bumps her off buckles, and shouts that she’s gonna make Carlee ugly! She SMACKS Carlee off buckles, then SCRAPES her face against the ropes! Arianna throws Carlee down, talks more trash, but Carlee DROPKICKS her down again! The fans fire up while Arianna staggers back to her feet. Carlee ELBOWS Arianna from the ropes, but Arianna fires forearms! Arianna fireman’s carries, GRACELAND SLAM! Cover, Arianna wins!

Arianna demands her hand be raised, and then she brushes herself off again. Will all of Evolve learn how to lose with Grace?

Elite Pro-Wrestling’s Training Center has nominated Yayne Harrison as the new standout prospect signing with WWE ID, and he says this is everything he’s ever wanted to do. If you have a dream or a goal, put your all into it and just go do it. Meanwhile, Wrestling Open held a Six Pack Elimination Match, and Laynie Luck overcame the odds to become the NEW WWE ID Women’s Champion, also earning her a WWE ID contract. Yayne and Laynie are now on their way to becoming full-fledged WWE superstars!

Nikkita Lyons spritzes her perfume.

#BigKatKita likes it, but in step Masyn Holiday & Layla Diggs. Layla keeps Masyn calm, but Masyn promises she can handle this. Layla starts by saying no one embarrasses her friend like that. Lyons says just breathe deep for a second. What’s with all the hostile energy? Now she has to re-sage in here. They know she’s about good vibes and positivity, like she positively~ beat Masyn senseless, okay? Masyn gets heated but Layla has her calm down again. Layla will give Lyons credit, she did her thing in the ring. But what’s not gonna slide is her standing over Masyn and dancing to mock them. That’s not gonna happen.

So how about this? Lyons VS Layla 1v1. Well, Lyons loves charity work, so why not. Lyons heads out, now Layla is getting heated. Masyn says this is what she was talking about. But will Layla dig deep and break through “Nikkita Multimedia?”

WWE ID Showcase Tag Match: Cappuccino Jones & Mike Cunningham VS Marcus Mathers & Aaron Rourke!

Timothy Thatcher helped arrange this match as a lesson to all of Evolve’s tag division, but especially Performance Center prospects like Jax Presley & Harley Riggins, who are inflating their egos just because they were next in line. But will Cappuccino keep the pot hot even with a different tag partner? Or will this be the moment Philly’s Finest & The Dime Piece finally show their worth?

Meanwhile, It’s Gal chills in the VIP Lounge. Is he scouting a gym partner to pump with? The teams sort out and Mathers starts with Jones. They circle, Mathers goes for legs but Jones stays clear. Mathers fakes high to get the leg, but Jones hops around to stay up. Jones reels Mathers in, clinches, then slips in and hits a fireman’s carry takeover. Jones has the armlock but Mathers rolls and slips around to waistlock. Mathers SLAMS Jones, Jones fights up, and the fans rally up and duel. Jones slips under to waistlock back, and he SLAMS Mathers in return. Mathers stands, Jones headlocks, but Mathers pries the hold open.

Jones shifts to an armlock, he whips Mathers to ropes, but Mathers turns hip toss into arm-drag! Mathers has the armlock, rolls it, and then inverted backslide?! TWO, and Jones snapmares to ghost pin! TWO! Mathers and Jones stand, Mathers sweeps to cover, ONE! Jones ducks a kick, then trips Mathers, but Mathers BOOTS him away! Both men kip up and the fans fire up! Mathers and Jones go again, they tie up, and Mathers headlocks. Jones powers up and out, drops down, but Mathers ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl RANA! Jones tumbles to a corner, Mathers runs up, but Jones BOOTS him! Jones goes up and RANAS back! Then he DROPKICKS Mathers!

The fans fire up with Jones, and he keeps Mathers from Rourke. Tag to Cunningham and the sculpted cowboy goes up top to AX HANDLE! The fans fire up with Mike and he brings Mathers up. Mike wrenches, wristlocks, but Mathers fights around. Mathers manages the tag to Rourke! Arm-drag, and then Rourke slips around to headlock. Mike endures the grind, powers up and out, and they RAM shoulders! Mike nods, but Rourke JABS! Rourke headlocks and the fans cheer on “Dime Piece!” clap clap clap. Mike powers up and out, but Rourke handsprings over the dropdown! Rourke poses, then says kiss this!

Mike runs up, Rourke sidesteps, and Rourke drops down to hurdle over. Mike waistlocks, Rourke bucks the O’Conner, then things speed up again. Rourke rolls off Mike’s back to shove him, but Mike RUNS Rourke over! And again! And then a DROPKICK! Rourke flounders, Mike covers, ONE! The fans rally, Mike stays focused, and he watches Rourke stagger up. Mike JABS! And JABS! Then he ducks to JAB again! Mike bobs ‘n’ weaves as Rourke takes wild sings, and Mike DECKS Rourke with that jab! The fans rally up, Mike brings Rourke up, but Rourke blocks the lift! Rourke wrenches out, whips Mike to the corner, but Mike ELBOWS Mathers!

Mike BOOTS Rourke, goes up, but Rourke uses a TIGER FEINT LEG SWEEP! Tag to Mathers, and Mathers drags Mike up. He puts Mike in the ropes, DRAPING BACKSTABBER! Rourke is up top, GUILLOTINE SENTON! Mathers & Rourke are all fired up, as are the fans, and Evolve goes to break.

Evolve returns as Mathers brings Mike up. Mike fires body shots, then slips around to waistlock, but Rourke tags in before the O’Conner! Rourke reels Mike in, GOURD BUSTER onto knees! Then Rourke whips Mathers to UPPERCUT Mike in the corner! Snapmare roll, HOUSE CALL and ROLLING SENTON! Cover, TWO! The fans rally while Rourke clamps onto Mike. Mike fires body shots, but Rourke CLUBS him and KICKS him! Rourke THROWS Mike to the corner, runs up and UPPERCUTS! Tag to Mathers and Rourke feeds Mike to the scoop and SLAM! Cover, TWO! Mike is tougher than that but Mathers clamps on with a chinlock.

Gal still flexes if for no one but himself while Mike fights up. Mike fires body shots, Mathers CLUBS him down, then Mathers brings Mike over. Mathers climbs up, tag to Rourke, but Mike breaks free! Mike DROPKICKS Mathers down, but Rourke hurries to get the legs! PRISM TRAP! A shoutout to Rhea Ripley while Rourke holds Mike back from the ropes! Rourke taunts Mike with a “Yeehaw!” but Mike rolls to send Rourke into the rope! Rourke hurries to anchor a foot, but Mike hops up, hops around, and ENZIGIRIS free! Mathers tags in, but hot tag to Jones! The fans fire up as Jones rallies on Mathers!

Jones jukes, whips, but Mathers blocks! Jones steps over and ROCKS Mathers! The fans fire up, Jones runs in at the corner, LARIAT! Jones goes out, steps in, springboard AX HANDLE! Jones then dodges Rourke’s leg lariat, JUMPING NECKBREAKER! Mathers runs up, Jones dodges to scoop and MICHINOKU DRIVER! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up while both men are down, but Jones hurries to get Mathers first. Jones reels Mathers in, but Mathers fights the suplex. Jones CLUBS away on Mathers, brings him up, but Mathers wrenches out! HOOK KICK! The fans fire up while Jones wobbles, and Mathers brings Jones over.

Tag to Rourke, but Jones ROCKS Mathers! And ELBOWS Rourke! And repeat! Jones CHOPS Rourke, runs the ropes, Mike tags in before the springboard! Rourke & Mathers catch Jones, DOUBLE BACK SUPLEX, but Jones lands out! Mike DOUBLE MISSILE DROPKICKS! The fans fire up and Mike suplexes, FALCON ARROW! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up while both men are down, and Mike powers up the right hand! But Rourke dodges the shot to HEADBUTT! Tag to Mathers, they both jump to switch places, then tag back to Rourke! The fans fire up and Jones drags Mike to safety! Jones tags himself in, then runs up on Rourke, but into a SUPERKICK! Jones wobbles, Mathers joins in, he and Rourke combine! The fans boo as the big bully Blue Chippers ruin this amazing showcase! Harley TOSSES Mathers, Jax drags Mike up, and they double guzel! But then they see Mathers getting back up, and Rourke, and Jones! Now numbers are against them! But KEANU CARVER rushes out here to CLOBBER all the WWE ID stars! And that lets Harley & Jax DOUBLE BOOT Mathers! Then they grab Mike, but Keanu takes him from them! LARIAT!! The One Man Demolition Crew is no longer alone, he stands with the Space Cowboy & Gnarly Harley. Gal actually likes it! But will Keanu, Jax & Harley crush the WWE ID Program just to get ahead?

WWE Evolve Women’s Championship: Kendal Grey VS Chantel Monroe!

As the champ put it herself, she beat the Reflection of Perfection to become a contender. She then overcame the odds and beat Kali Armstrong at Succession, and even defended this title in New York City as part of NXT Gold Rush. But will the Grey Area still be golden after tonight? Or will Christmas come early for Chantel with this main event?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is truly ready to Evolve!

We see Karmen Petrovic is now in the VIP Lounge, obviously wanting to keep a close eye on this match. The bell rings and Chantel already uses ropes as a guard! Kendal is annoyed but she waits on Chantel. They reset, tie up, and Kendal powers Chantel to ropes. Chantel turns that around, Kendal turns it back, they end up in the corner, and the ref counts. Kendal backs off, but Chantel storms up on her. They tie up again, go back along ropes, and into another corner. Kendal still has control, and she lets off again, but now Chantel pie faces! Kendal gives it back, Chantel uses the ropes as a guard again, and Kendal is even more annoyed.

Kendal and Chantel reset, tie up, and Chantel waistlocks. Kendal switches, and she SLAMS Chantel down! And SLAMS her again! And again! The fans fire up and Kendal tells Chantel to bring it. Chantel bails out instead to catch her breath and cool herself off. The fans boo and the ring count starts, but Chantel says hush. But Kendal snatches an arm and rags Chantel in! Chantel pulls hair, waistlocks, but Kendal switches. Chantel RAMS Kendal into the corner, the ref counts, and they both slowly let up. But then Chantel ELBOWS Kendal! Chantel stomps a mudhole into Kendal, the ref counts, and Chantel ROCKS Kendal!

The fans boo but Chantel stomps Kendal into the corner. Then she snapmares and NECK SNAPPERS! Cover, ONE!! Kendal is tougher than that, and Karmen enjoys watching this. Chantel CLUBS Kendal, mocks the fans cheering her on, then stomps her down. Chantel bumps Kendal off buckles, Kendal flounders along ropes, and Chantel brings her around. Chantel goes for another bump but Kendal blocks it! Kendal bumps Chantel off buckles now and stomps her own mudhole in! The fans cheer, the ref counts, but Kendal stops at 4. Kendal whips Chantel to ropes, but Chantel stops herself to then KICK! Chantel runs, but into a DROPKICK! Cover, TWO!

Kendal facelocks and she grinds Chantel. Kendal gator rolls to a fisherman’s bridge, TWO! Kendal holds onto Chantel with that facelock, the fans rally as Chantel rises up, and Chantel wrenches out to ROCK Kendal! Fireman’s carry, but Kendal slips free! Kendal shoves Chantel away, goes up the corner, and Chantel runs into buckles! Kendal slides under, runs and redirects, then she trips Chantel up to basement DROPKICK! The fans fire up, but Chantel again bails out. Kendal storms up to the ropes, but Chantel RAMS her low! Chantel TOSSES Kendal out, then aims from the apron, CROSSBODY to the floor! Karmen really likes that!

Chantel SMACKS Kendal off the apron, mocks the cheering, and then she puts Kendal in the ring. Chantel swaggers and praises herself, but that lets Kendal DROPKICK her off the apron! The fans fire up as Kendal takes aim, PENALTY KICK! Chantel falls, Kendal stands her back up, and Kendal ROCKS Chantel! Chantel CHOPS back! Kendal CHOPS Chantel, but Chantel ELBOWS Kendal! And then APRON BACK SUPLEX! Chantel targets that upper back and neck, Kendal writhes on the floor, and the ref reprimands Chantel while Evolve goes to break.

Evolve returns again and Chantel mocks the fans cheering Kendal on. Kendal hobbles around, but Chantel whips her to a corner. Kendal sputters, but she still BOOTS in return! Kendal kicks and UPPERCUTS and repeat! But Chantel hooks Kendal up! Kendal fights the backslide to backslide, TWO! Kendal CHOPS, then whips, but Chantel reverses to fireman’s carry, O K T! Cover, TWO! Karmen still enjoys this as Chantel throws down ELBOWS into Kendal. Chantel pushes Kendal down, just to KNEE DROP her in the head! The fans boo but Chantel scoops to SLAM! Chantel grins as she goes to the corner and climbs up top.

But Kendal rises up! Kendal springs up after Chantel, SUPER BELLY2BELLY! The fans fire up while both women are down again! Kendal and Chantel stir, rise up, and the fans rally behind them. Chantel manages to get an arm, but Kendal fires body shots! Kendal kicks, CHOPS, and ROCKS, then whips! Chantel reverses, but Kendal ELBOWS her down! And ELBOWS her again! Kendal fights through the pain to ELBOW again! The fans fire up and Kendal snarls. Kendal runs to slide and trip Chantel up! Then she flips Chantel over to slingshot, but Chantel moves! Kendal rolls through her stomp, runs back up, but into a KICK!

Chantel slingshots up and over, gets moving, but Kendal POP-UP POWERBOMBS! Cover, TWO!! Chantel survives and the fans rally up! Chantel bails out, walks it off, but Kendal hurries out after her! The fans fire up as Kendal throws Chantel back in! Kendal goes up, up, and leaps, but she blocks the kick! ANKLE LOCK, but Chantel rolls it! Cover, TWO! SUPERKICK! Then PERFECT ENDING! But Kendal tumbles out of the ring! That’s NOT perfect for Chantel! Chantel despairs as she misses her moment, and she hurries to get Kendal into the ring. The ref checks on Kendal’s neck, and WENDY CHOO is here?! She POSTS Chantel!!

The fans fire up as Wendy gets revenge on Chantel for all the insults! She puts Chantel in, Chantel staggers into Kendal, and Kendal instinctively THROWS her into an ARMBAR! Chantel fights, Kendal pries the hold open, but Chantel rolls to stack! TWO!! Both women stand, Chantel runs up, SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!! Kendal is stunned at how close she was, but Chantel shows she has grit! “This is Awesome!” as Kendal drags Chantel back up. Kendal hoists Chantel to the top rope, then goes up top. But Chantel fights the suplex with body shots! Chantel shoves Kendal down, Kendal returns, but Chantel DECKS her!

Chantel rises up, METEORA!! Cover, TWO!! Kendal survives and Chantel cannot believe it! The fans rally while Kendal sputters, but Chantel crawls over to drag her up again. Chantel ROCKS Kendal, Kendal ROCKS Chantel, and repeat! The fans fire up as the shots go back and forth! Chantel gets the edge, she ROCKS Kendal, but Kendal fires it all in return! Chantel blocks a kick to KNEE Kendal, and KNEE her again! Chantel runs, springboards, but into a SUPERKICK!! The fans fire up with Kendal, and the straps come down! Kendal roars, SHADES OF GREY!! Cover, Kendal wins!

Karmen applauds along with the fans as we just saw a magnificent match! Chantel proves she’s not just a pretty face, but she couldn’t quite outshine Kendal Grey. But now, Kendal must shift gears and be ready for NXT Deadline! Will Kendal survive the Iron Survivor Challenge to then head for another title opportunity?

Backstage interview with Tate Wilder and Sean Legacy.

Chuey Martinez is with the Modern Day Cowboy and Super Sean, and says there is some big news coming out! These are two top tier talents targeting Jackson Drake’s WWE Evolve Championship. Both men have made strong cases for their opportunities. Factoring in how things went at NXT Gold Rush for Sean, and factoring in Tate’s recent wins, this is what happens: A #1 Contender’s match between these two, the winner getting their shot at Jackson Drake! Both men like that, they thank Chuey for the news, and Sean says after what happened in MSG, Drake VS Legacy is a match the fans all wanna see yet again. So Legacy is excited to have his chance to finish this once and for all!

Tate wants Sean to hold on. With all due respect, Sean was that close to winning in NYC. But well, he didn’t. And Sean is getting ahead of himself. Nothing is guaranteed, but while Tate is new to this, he’s racking up wins, building momentum, and he put down Brooks Jensen in a Bull Rope Match. Tate feels he’s right about to get in that title picture. Oh, well, tell Sean if he’s wrong, but wasn’t Tate the one talking about quitting a few months ago? And it was Sean’s words of wisdom that stopped him, right? Tate says thanks for that, but he’s grown so much since then. The PC has prepared Tate-

Sean groans and says enough about the PC! The PC is full of nothing but bullies and sneaks, just like we saw earlier tonight! Sean can’t trust the PC guys, especially the way they talk about the ID guys! Tate says that’s Sean’s problem! He lumps the PC guys together like they’re all the same. It is funny Sean says that, though, because to Tate, the WWE ID guys look pretty close these days. Sean says okay, agree to disagree. But they both can agree, no one likes Jackson Drake. Tate says that’s facts. Next week, time to put it all on the line. They shake hands on it, and Sean says, “May the best man win.” Sean leaves before Tate says, “Oh, I will.” And then a hand rests on Tate’s shoulder!

Does the Modern Day Cowboy have someone in his proverbial corner preparing him for this moment? Or will Legacy continue to make Evolve SUPER?

My Thoughts:

A very good episode for Evolve in their return after taking just a week off. That week was surely to tape more episodes and adjust for how people were cut because of TKO BS. As I said for NXT, I really wanna know what they’re going to do to make up for no more Stevie Turner. Can Timothy Thatcher be the new GM since he helped make that WWE ID Showcase? That was an awesome match, honestly, but I should’ve known Jax & Harley would “ruin” it. And clearly, they’re building a much stronger WWE PC VS WWE ID story with Keanu Carver going Heel again just to stick it to the WWE ID guys. Even that promo at the end added a bit to that.

Sean VS Tate to name a new #1 contender is an interesting move, but duh, neither Evolve or NXT took the other into account with story when they really should. But with the course correction, we’re getting this match, and I wonder if Thatcher is the one training Tate. That’d be quite the twist, honestly. But with that, I feel like Tate will win the match to get his shot at Drake, I just don’t know if he’ll beat Drake with how Swipe Right can still hang around and help Drake. Also, where’s Bryce Donovan been? I don’t remember him being part of the released. And are we waiting for the New Year to figure out the Evolve Tag Division?

Very good stuff with the Women’s Division. Good promo from Lyons with Layla & Masyn to set up Lyons VS Layla. I feel like Lyons beats Layla like she did Masyn, and maybe that sets Lyons up for a title opportunity down the line. Very good match from Carlee VS Arianna, and very good win for Arianna. Very good opening promo from Kendal, too, though I feel like they meant that for the same night as Kali VS Vasa. But Kendal VS Chantel was a great main event, a great showing from Chantel, and I did not think Wendy would get involved during the match. Feels like they just wanted to protect Chantel in her loss. Kendal probably doesn’t win the Iron Survivor Challenge, but she’ll have a great showing.
