BREAKING NEWS on Samoa Joe!
While preparing for not only Hangman Page but the road back to the AEW World Championship, the Samoan Submission Specialist suffered a non-contact injury during his training. It is not clear when he will be medically cleared but we all wish Joe a full and speedy recovery.
Kenny Omega VS Rocky Romero!
The Cleaner dared The Jackal to send more of his “family” after him, so Azucar has stepped up to the plate! Will Romero make Kenny’s road back to the world title very rocky? Or are the Best Bout Machine’s best days still ahead of him?
The bell rings and Rocky runs up to fire hands right on Kenny! The fans boo as Rocky keeps on Kenny in the corner, but he backs off as the ref counts. Only for Kenny to TOSS Rocky into the corner and fire back! The fans cheer, Kenny whips corner to corner, and Kenny runs in for a BIG back elbow! Then Kenny TOSSES Rocky out, takes aim, and PLANCHAS! Down goes Rocky and even Kenny is shocked. Kenny storms up on Rocky to put him in the ring, then spots a fan’s sign that says, “I FINALLY get to see Kenny Omega! Can I get a hug?” Kenny obliges and hugs the fan! The fans cheer, and Kenny rolls into the ring after Rocky.
Kenny builds speed, then hits the KOTARO KRUSHER! And a KICK to the side for good measure! Then a SLAM DUNK! The fans fire up with Kenny while Rocky flounders to ropes. Kenny says BANG and runs, but Rocky bails out! Rocky knows Kenny’s bag of tricks well, but Kenny hurries out after Rocky. Rocky slides back in, then uses the ref as a shield! The fans boo, but Rocky KICKS low! Rocky fires hands and forearms against the ropes while the fans boo more. Rocky whips, Kenny reverses, but Rocky slides under the boot to ASAI DDT! Cover, TWO! Kenny survives but Rocky stalks him to the corner. Rocky CHOPS, then winds up.
The fans boo as Rocky hits the LARIAT! Then he LARIATS again! That’s two-ever, and Rocky runs back in, but into a BOOT! The fans fire up as Kenny drags Rocky up, brings him around, and full nelsons! Rocky breaks free, ELBOWS Kenny, then cravats! SLICED- NO, Kenny slips free of the cravat, then blocks a kick. Kenny ducks the enzigiri but not the REWIND HEEL! Kenny staggers to the corner, Rocky gives us the sliding soccer celebration, but the fans boo. BLINDSIDE V-TRIGGER! Rocky was getting cocky and Kenny made him pay! Then he hits the SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! The fans fire up as Rocky’s back on the ropes.
The fans join in with Kenny as he says BANG, then runs to V-TRIGGER! Kenny hurries to Electric Chair Lift, ONE WINGED ANGEL! Cover, Kenny wins!

When it comes to the Don Callis Family, another one bites the dust! Kenny is continuing that climb, and Tony Schiavone and his volt sneakers step into the ring. Schiavone has the mic to congratulate Kenny on what was really a high stakes win. But also congratulations on being in classic wrestling shape! The fans cheer that, and Schiavone says this puts Kenny into the top four. It is Kenny, Hangman Page, and then the two men in the main event tonight, Andrade El Idolo and Swerve Strickland. Now as it stands, the last two standing will go on to Grand Slam: Australia on February 14th to fight 1v1, and the winner of that is the #1 contender, going onto Revolution in Los Angeles!
The fans cheer, and Schiavone brings us back to the main event, Swerve VS Andrade. The winner of that match faces Kenny Omega next week in Las Vegas! Big stakes for everyone involved! Kenny takes the mic to say he hates repeating himself, but he said it last week: He hasn’t felt this good in years! AEW is supposed to be where the best wrestle. The fans cheer that, and Kenny says if he didn’t feel like he’s at the top, he wouldn’t stake his name and claim a shot at MJF’s world title! So whether it is someone he hates, like Don Callis and his entire “family,” or someone that he loves, this is just business, and Kenny WILL become Heavyweight Champion of the World.
Well, speaking of the latter, here comes the Millennial Cowboy! The fans cheer as Hangman has a mic of his own as he goes to the ring, and these good friends stand across from each other again. Hangman says Kenny looks good. But look, truth be told, after all these years, Hangman would rather be fighting beside Kenny rather than against him. The fans cheer that, and Hangman says, “But… With the World Championship at stake, Kenny, then so be it. I made the mistake as world champion of looking past and looking beyond Samoa Joe & The Opps. I thought about months and months, the defenses that I would have. And I thought about defending that championship against you. I did.
“But because of Hook, and because of a kick to the balls from MJF, I lost that championship, and the chance to regain it. But this time, Kenny, this time is different! And this time, Kenny, as I hate to say it, with as much fire and passion as you have now, you will not be the next champion.” The fans are a bit torn there, but Hangman says the next champion won’t be Andrade, and it won’t be Swerve. The next AEW World Champion is going to be Hangman Adam Page! The fans are again torn, but then “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!”
The Realest has his own mic and he says, “Now excuse me for sounding like a damn broken record around here… I feel like I gotta reiterate the fact that I came back to AEW for a world championship. And ever since I came back, I have not been pinned, I am undefeated, I am not the one that was pinned in that 4 Way at World’s End. So as far as I’m concerned, I’ve got just as much right at the world championship as you do.” Swerve steps into the ring with Hangman and Kenny to tell them that his mission remains the same: He is going to come back and get that world championship.
And as the Most Dangerous Man in AEW, he doesn’t care who he has to stomp out, ravage, and go through to get what he wants! It can be against anybody, and he does mean anybody. Kenny tells Swerve that Kenny fancies himself as pretty astute at reading the room. And as much as “Hanger” and Kenny have their eyes on the prize, it feels like there’s a little bit of animosity here. It feels like that just as much as Swerve wants the belt, it sounds like he is just looking for a fight. Swerve laughs and says more than Kenny knows. These two stare down, but then Don Callis finally walks out here to say, “I have something important to say.”
The fans boo as Callis saunters out here, and he tells Swerve that he hears him talking about he’s undefeated. Well, enjoy it, because you don’t have much longer until Andrade pins you tonight! And “Lil’ Kenny,” Daddy Callis is here to tell you that when Andrade beats Swerve, he is coming for Kenny in Vegas! And as for Hangman, well, Callis hasn’t forgotten about you. Callis has something special for Hangman and EVERYONE who thought that they were going to come out here and do business! They’ll understand that the Don Callis Family runs this show! The fans boo, Hangman, Swerve, and Kenny can’t believe Callis is serious.
Callis has issued his warning, but Kenny has the music cut so he can tell Don that Don’s going on about what Swerve has to worry about, what Hangman has to worry about, and heck, even what Kenny has to worry about. Here’s the thing, Don: Maybe, just maybe, you should be worrying about yourself. Kenny rushes up the ramp! Callis runs like the coward he is, and then Hangman and Swerve take their time in following. We are counting down the minutes until the epic main event, but who will score their ticket to Dynamite in Las Vegas?

Harley Cameron tells Thekla that tonight, she will suffer toxic shock syndrome, courtesy of their Cosmic Killer champion, Kris Statlander! Kris says Thekla came in hot with the “very original” live long and prosper parody. It was… cute. But tonight, Thekla will live shortly and die. Willow Nightingale also puts the Sisters of Sin on notice because we all know how this will go. Julia & Skye will show their faces, then Harley & Willow will just rip them off. So how about they make a deal? This Saturday, Collision in Arlington, the Babes of Wrath put the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships on the line, so long as the Sisters of Sin stay out of Kris VS Thekla.
Harley says tonight, the itsy bitsy spider gets taken out by the Big Stat Daddy Long Legs! Get it? Let’s go! The champions of AEW are ready, but will The Triangle of Madness accept their terms?
AEW Continental Championship Eliminator: Jon Moxley VS Ace Austin!
The Maniac continues to speak on the grind and the fight that is being truly great in this great sport. Meanwhile, the Bang Bang Gang’s newest member has been building momentum of his own between Collision and ROH, so now he puts himself to the test here on Dynamite! Will Ace hit the jackpot in Austin? Or will Moxley deny The Inevitable?
The bell rings and we have twenty minutes on this. But Moxley just BOOTS Ace down! Moxley drags Ace up, CHOPS him, then puts him in the corner again to CHOP! And CHOP! The fans rally while Moxley brings Ace around, and he ROCKS Ace with a forearm. Moxley puts Ace in the corner, and he rains down fists! The fans count along, and Moxley goes PAST TEN, to about TWENTY! The fans fire up as Moxley stops but the ref reprimands. Moxley storms up on Ace, Ace fires body shots, but Moxley just HEADBUTTS him down. The fans rally, Moxley stands Ace up again, but Ace headlocks. Moxley powers up but Ace holds on, and Ace hits a takeover!
Ace floats and hooks an arm to roll Moxley into a ghost pin, TWO! Ace CHOPS, but Moxley just brushes it off. Moxley eggs Ace on and Ace CHOPS again! That one stung! Moxley CHOPS, Ace CHOPS, and repeat! The fans cheer as the CHOPS keep going, then they KICK and KICK! They trade forearms, even, and Ace wobbles. Ace kicks back, ROCKS Mox, but Mox JABS, body blows, and ROCKS him in return. Moxley whips, but Ace grabs ropes. Moxley blocks a boot, eh flips Ace to the apron, but Ace RAMS down low! Ace steps in, somersaults to wheelbarrow and arm-drag! And then DROPKICK! The fans fire up while Moxley bails out!
Ace hurries to aim, PLANCHA, but he lands safe on the apron as Moxley moves. Moxley runs up, Ace handsprings over the sweep, and then handsprings again to PENALTY KICK! The fans cheer as Ace takes aim again, but Moxley goes all the way to the railing. Ace is annoyed and hops off the apron while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Ace storms up to kick and punch away on Moxley, then he climbs up onto the railing so he can rain down fists! The fans cheer, Ace reaches TEN, then he CHOPS! Moxley staggers but he goes to the ring. Ace pursues, snapmares, and KNEES Moxley in the back. Ace wraps on a headscissors squeeze! Moxley endures, even as Ace puts on the pressure. Moxley turns Ace, pops out the back and floats to a headlock. Ace endures, rolls Moxley to a cover, TWO! Ace waistlocks, then floats to ELBOW away on Moxley! Not quite Hammer ‘n’ Anvil but he still HAMMERS Moxley down, then adds a KNEE DROP!
Moxley rises up but Ace fires more forearms. Ace KICKS Moxley’s leg, KICKS again, then fires haymakers. Moxley staggers around, but Ace KICKS him again! And DROPKICKS a leg out! Moxley sits up but Ace DECKS him! Ace clamps onto Moxley with a TRIANGLE HOLD! Moxley endures, reaches out, and Dynamite returns to single picture. The fans rally as Moxley fights around, and he stacks Ace up, TWO! Ace lets Moxley go to bring him up, but Moxley RAMS him into the corner! And RAMS him again and again! Moxley puts Ace up top to CHOP! The fans “WOO~” while Moxley climbs up. Moxley HEADBUTTS Ace, then CLAWS his back!
The ref reprimands, the fans tell Moxley he’s sick, but Moxley brings Ace up for the SUPERPLEX! A hard landing for both men and the fans fire up again! A standing count starts while both men stir. Ace goes to the opposite corner and Moxley stands at center. The fans rally up again and Moxley runs in, LARIAT! Moxley keeps moving, but Ace avoids the lariat to short arm LARIAT in return! The fans fire up while both men are down again! Both men rise up, and Ace KNEES low! Ace winds up to KICK then RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Click click, LEG DROP! The fans fire up with Ace as he goes to the corner and takes aim!
Ace runs corner to corner, A-LIST LARIAT! Then a flurry of LARIATS in the corner! Ace goes all the way to TEN, then he shoves Moxley out. Ace steps in, but Moxley avoids the Flying Chuck! LARIAT! The fans fire up as Moxley snarls and Ace sputters. Moxley reels Ace in, but Ace BACKDROPS free! But Moxley sunset flips, TWO! Ace high stacks, TWO! Moxley sunset flips again, TWO! both men stand, Ace CHPOS but Moxley ROCKS him! Ace and Moxley trade shots but Ace is wobbly. Ace SLAPS Moxley, so Moxley ROCKS him again! Moxley eggs Ace on, so Ace HEEL KICKS! The fans fire up while Moxley drops to his knees!
Ace traps Moxley for the JAMMING STOMP! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up but ace is shocked! Moxley slowly rises but Ace stands him up. Moxley fires a forearm, Ace fires back, but Moxley KNEES low. Ace KICKS the leg, Moxley KNEES Ace again. Ace KNEES Moxley, CLUBS away on the neck, but Moxley JABS! And BODY BLOWS! And repeat! Moxley fires shot after shot, ROCKS Ace again, then goes corner to corner, but Ace slips through the gap! Then the step in, FLYING CHUCK connects! Cover, TWO! Moxley survives but Ace takes aim! He deals the- CUTTER!! Moxley turns things around on Ace, and now DEATH RIDER!! Cover, Moxley wins!

Ace took him to the limit but Moxley did not fold, and- Whoa, wait, KONOSUKE TAKESHITA is here! The Alpha storms down to the ring, perhaps in response to Moxley calling out Don Callis’ “boy” last week. Konosuke points right at the Continental Championship, reminding Moxley that Konosuke won in the round robin phase of the tournament. Moxley says he remembers, and he’ll gladly give Konosuke his shot. Konosuke nods and signals he will be champion. But wait, DAVIS & DOYLE ATTACK?! The fans boo as Davis has the SLEEPER on Moxley, then feeds him to Doyle’s FOREARM SHOT!
The fans boo as something awful just happened to The Maniac! But will Davis & Doyle make sure to bring those AEW World Tag Team Championships home to the Family? Or will FTR still be the #TopGuys?
AEW TNT Championship: Mark Briscoe VS EL CLØN w/ Don Callis!
We saw Rocky Romero fall to Kenny Omega, then saw Konosuke call out Moxley before Davis & Doyle fell the Continental Champion. Will the Don Callis Family be on the upside with taking this title back? Or will the Sussex County Chicken finally avenge the fallen Hologram?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who will #ManUp as the Face of TNT!
The bell rings and Don Callis is on commentary now as he has all the confidence in Clon to bring this gold back to where it belongs. The fans rally up as Briscoe and Clon circle. The two tie up, Clon headlocks, but Briscoe powers up and wrenches out to wristlock. Clon rolls, handsprings, and headlocks back. Briscoe powers up and out but Clon reverses that to whip Briscoe. Clon drops down, hurdles over, and builds speed. Clon rolls off Briscoe’s back. Briscoe dodges the haymaker, Clon says hold on, and then he ELBOWS Briscoe down! Cover, ONE! A bit cocky on that pushup cover but Clon goes after Briscoe in the corner.
Clon hushes the fans as he winds up, and he CHOPS Briscoe! The fans fire up and Clon shakes out his hand. Clon whips corner to corner, Briscoe goes up and out, then Briscoe CHOPS back! And UPPERCUTS! The fans cheer as Briscoe then DUMPS Clon out! Briscoe CHOPS in return! The fans fire up while Briscoe throws hands on Clon at the desk. Briscoe HEADBUTTS Clon, then he brings out a chair! Briscoe tosses the chair into the ring, claps with it, and the fans cheer along. Callis complains but Briscoe sets the chair up. Briscoe builds speed, but Clon slides in, handsprings with the chair, to simply fold it up.
Clon then CHUCKS the chair, but Briscoe gets clear! Briscoe then CHOPS again! The fans fire up as Briscoe stomps away. Briscoe whips corner to corner, but Clon goes up and over and handsprings, but Briscoe disrupts the slow-mo kip-up with a shove! But Clon just handsprings again, for the slow-mo kip-up! Briscoe dodges a lariat to LARIAT back! The fans fire up with Briscoe and he builds speed to WRECK Clon with a dropkick! The fans fire up as Briscoe then aims from the apron, BLOCKBUSTER to the floor! The fans fire up and Briscoe high-fives the front row. Briscoe stands on the railing, the fans cheer more, and Briscoe goes back to the ring.
The fans cheer for “DEM BOYS!” as Briscoe brings Clon back up. But Clon traps Briscoe’s head under the apron skirt! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Clon DRIVE-BY DROPKICKS Briscoe! Briscoe flops down but Callis says bueno. Then Clon BOOTS Briscoe down before Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Clon brings Briscoe up, whips him hard into steel steps, then he soaks up heat while throwing up the C. Clon KICKS Briscoe against the steps, then pushes him against the steel so he can stand on Briscoe’s head! The ref reprimands, Clon steps off at 4, and Briscoe staggers away. Clon follows to shove Briscoe in the ring, then pushes him to a cover, TWO! Clon pushes Briscoe down again, TWO! Briscoe toughs it out and Clon gets annoyed. Clon clamps onto Briscoe for a GROUND COBRA TWIST! Clon CLUBS and SLAPS Briscoe’s side, then puts on the pressure into a GROUND COBRA CRADLE! TWO and Briscoe goes to a corner.
Clon storms up to SMACK Briscoe, CHOP him against the ropes, then CHOP him in the corner! Briscoe sits down but Clon stands on him! The ref reprimands, Clon soaks up the heat, then Clon hops off at 4. Clon argues with the ref, then stomps a mudhole into Briscoe. Clon drags Briscoe up, bumps him off buckles, then winds up to CHOP again! And stomp again! Clon sits Briscoe down, digs his boot in, but stops as the ref counts. Clon then mule kicks Briscoe! Clon digs his boot into Briscoe’s leg, then wraps an arm around the ropes! The ref reprimands and counts but Clon stops at 4. Dynamite returns to single picture as Clon drags Briscoe up.
Briscoe fires body shots and the fans rally behind him. Clon fires forearms in return, then whips corner to corner. Clon LARIATS Briscoe, then ROCKS and SOBATS and KICKS and ROCKS and GAMANGIRIS! The fans are torn over that fast combo, but Clon cravats to snapmare Briscoe. BOX JUMP LIONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Briscoe survives and the fans fire up again! Clon drags Briscoe up to the corner, but Briscoe fires body shots! Clon fires hands, then shoves Briscoe away. Briscoe comes back, blocks a boot, and he UPPERCUTS Clon down! Clon tumbles to the apron then the floor! Briscoe builds speed and DIVES! Direct hit and the fans fire up again!
Briscoe gets Clon in the ring, and the fans cheer on “DEM BOYS!” Briscoe runs, but into a SUPERKICK! Briscoe wobbles. Clon runs, and he drop toeholds Briscoe onto ropes. Clon dials it up, but Briscoe dodges! Briscoe taunts Clon to then JAB, JAB, JAB, JAB, and some Redneck Kung-Fu, UPPERCUT meets ROUNDHOUSE! Both men stagger back, and then run back in, DOUBLE LARIATS!! The fans are thunderous while both men are down! Briscoe pounds the mat and the fans rally again. Briscoe and Clon rise again, and Briscoe has a wild look in his eyes. Briscoe storms up to ROCK Clon! Clon ROCKS Briscoe back!
The fans rally for Briscoe and the forearms keep going! Clon swings again, but into a clinch! EXPLODER! Clon goes to a corner, Briscoe takes off the elbow pads, SPLASH in the corner! Then the FISHERMAN BUSTER! Briscoe goes up, up, and Callis panics as Briscoe hits the FROGGY-BOW!! Cover, TWO?!? Clon survives and Callis is relieved, but Briscoe just reels Clon in! The fans fire up for the underhooks, JAY DRILLER!! But Clon kips up!? Clon is inhuman as he just shakes it off! Clon SOBATS and whips, but Briscoe reverses! Clon goes up, BOOTS Briscoe, then reels him in to go up and over! MATRIX PELE!
Briscoe tumbles out, Clon goes out, BOX JUMP ASAI MOONSAULT! Callis says this might be his greatest signing ever! Clon puts Briscoe in while the fans go nuts for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Clon goes up, up, and DIVING DOUBLE STOMPS!! But that’s not all, Clon hooks Briscoe up with the half nelson and leg-trapping hammerlock! But Briscoe fights free, only for Clon to ENZIGIRI! Clon torture racks to then spin, only for Briscoe to pop free! And roll-up, BRISCOE WINS!!

Callis protests the count, but Clon just got caught off guard! Briscoe grabs a mic to shout, “HELL YEAH!” The fans cheer, and Briscoe says, “Texas, I said hell yeah~!” The fans echo back, “Hell yeah~!” Briscoe says here’s the thing: He told us from the beginning that he ain’t doing no ducking, no dodging. He is reigning and retaining, and we will be right back in BAH GAWD TEXAS this Saturday night! And Briscoe personally loves the concept of the TNT Championship Open Challenge. One little asterisk: NOBODY from Don Callis Family this time. Briscoe’s getting tired of y’all! So with that said, anybody else! Saturday Night Collision in Arlington, Texas, TNT title, who wants it?!
Wait, the lights go out. And when they come up… A BLACK HEART IS BEATING! “My shadow knows my story…” And out steps the PSYCHO KILLER, TOMMASO CIAMPA! He even gets pyro! The fans go wild as the former ROH icon, a former NXT Champion and former WWE Tag Team Champion, is now #AllElite! Ciampa and Briscoe meet again after roughly a decade in different worlds and the fans are losing their minds. Briscoe says okay then. Ciampa wants the TNT title, and he gives a kiss on the cheek before he heads back out. But will Ciampa go straight from newest signee to Face of TNT? Or will Briscoe be more than ready to #ManUp all over again?
Backstage interview with Kyle Fletcher.
Renee Paquette is with the Protostar, and she brings up that he is here at the request of… Kazuchika Okada! The Rainmaker now steps into frame, and he tells Kyle that a few weeks ago, Kyle told Don that someone needed to say something to Okada. But Okada needs to say something to Kyle. When Okada took the Callis Family screwdriver at World’s End, he wasn’t thinking, he just wanted to win. Okada wanted Kyle to win, too, so he could face Kyle in the finals, keeping the Continental Championship in the family. But Okada did not mean to hurt Kyle. So Okada asked for Kyle to be here so Okada could say… He’s sorry.
Kyle says he was really, really mad at Okada after World’s End, but it takes a big man to admit his own faults. So because of that, Kyle accepts the apology. Okada and Kyle shake hands on it, and things are patched up between them. But will this help the Don Callis Family be even stronger from here on out?
MJF is here!
Austin, Texas is torn as the Scumbag AEW World Champion walks out here, mic already in hand, as he gets his pyro sparkler rain and walks down the ramp. MJF has them cut his music, then he puts his sunglasses away while the fans cheer. MJF says, “I’m just gonna be honest. Taz, why do they have us working in a dump like this? I mean, God, this place sucks! I’ll keep my composure. Okay, the champ’s speaking, that means we listen, okay? It’s not complicated. We listen.” But then BRODY KING interrupts! The fans cheer and bark but MJF demands they cut the music and quit it with the barking!
The music spots but the barking does not. MJF says, “You’d think with big-ass ears like those, you’d be able to listen. But apparently, you’re as deaf as you are big and stupid! Oh wait, time out! Time out!” Brody storms the ring but MJF goes to the far side. The fans bark more, but MJF says they can do that all they want, but is Brody gonna be a professional right now? Are they going to talk this out like men? Brody stays back, MJF steps back inside, and the fans chant for Brody. The time for talk is over, because actions speak louder than words! Will Thekla catch Big Stat Daddy in her web? Or will Kris crush this eight legged freak?

The bell rings and the fans rally as Kris and Thekla stare down. They slowly step up, and Thekla offers a handshake? The fans know not to trust that, but Kris takes Thekla at her word. Kris slowly reaches out, but Thekla leaves her hanging to again mock the Vulcan hand sign. The fans boo while Thekla laughs, but then Thekla SLAPS Kris! But Kris doesn’t budge! Thekla takes her time but she returns to the ring, and the two reset. They approach but Thekla avoids the grapple.
Thekla takes a swing, but Kris blocks it! Kris ROCKS Thekla, CHOPS Thekla, then whips. Thekla goes Spider-Woman in the ropes, hanging upside-down even as she taunts Kris. Kris runs up, Thekla sits up to dodge the baseball slide, and then Thekla RAMS Kris, only for Kris to catch her! Kris CLUBS away on Thekla, then GUILLOTINE LEG DROPS! The fans fire up while Kris flexes and Thekla flops. Kris drags Thekla up, brings her around, and suplexes Thekla up! The fans cheer as Kris keeps Thekla up for TEN before the SLAM on the floor! Thekla kicks again, but Kris blocks! Kris trips Thekla, then has the legs to CATAPULT her into steel steps! Thekla slumps down while the fans fire up again. Kris drags Thekla up, puts her in the ring, and flexes again. The fans cheer, but Thekla runs up to BOOT Kris to the floor! The fans boo but Thekla grins while Kris sputters. Thekla goes to the apron, then leaps to DOUBLE STOMP Kris down! Kris writhes while Thekla paces, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Thekla gets the fans heated up while she waits on the ref to check Kris. Kris clutches her back but she’s not giving up, so Thekla goes into the ring. Thekla then slides back out so she can drag Kris up and whip her into the steps! Kris hits hard and tumbles over the steps! Thekla mocks Kris’ pain while Kris goes to the barriers. Thekla storms up on Kris, drags her up, and waves to the fans before she whips Kris hard into railing! Thekla soaks up the cheers and jeers before she drags Kris back up. Thekla puts Kris in the ring, talks some trash, then stalks Kris. Cover, ONE! Another cover, TWO! Thekla is frustrated as she goes for a third cover, TWO!
Kris snarls as she toughs it out, but Thekla stomps her down. Thekla kicks Kris, looms over her, then brings her around for a neck wrench! Kris endures even as Thekla brings her up by her hair. Don Callis stands with #ProtoShita and says The DCF has been in heavy recruitment mode for some time. And now, it is time to mobilize those resources to bring gold home to Daddy. Andrade has already declared himself for THE AEW World Championship, and he will be one step closer to that after he defeats Swerve Strickland. Okada-san is still the AEW International Champion, and Takeshita made it very clear: He beat Moxley before, he looks to do it again. His performance was fantastic. The only thing keeping Takeshita from bringing that title home is… a word of advice. Take Kyle’s lead here, and just like he did, Takeshita should forgive Okada.
And speaking of Kyle, he is synonymous with the TNT Championship. If you looked in a dictionary, Kyle’s picture would be right next to the word, “TNT.” And whatever happens with that ingrate, Mark Briscoe, and that Ciampa, understand one thing: Kyle BAH GAWD Fletcher is waiting on the other side to bring the TNT title home to the DCF! And speaking of titles, Davis & Doyle are about to squash FTR! Callis will make himself a martini and tune in. Kyle says yes, please enjoy. Callis heads out, leaving ProtoShita to talk. Jack shoves Ricochet, but Liona drags him right up to THROW him into a spare barrier! Ricochet again continues this mock interview by asking what Jack was thinking claiming he’d take the AEW National Championship. Oh, well, he doesn’t seem interested in answering any questions. Davis even DUMPS Dax into the crowd before he CHOPS again! Davis then drags Dax back over barriers to CLUB him down! Davis throws the chair aside just so he can put Dax in the ring. Davis storms in and puts Dax in a corner to CHOP! Davis whips corner to corner hard and Dax falls back from the buckles. Cover, TWO! Davis drags Dax up, tags Doyle, and they mug Dax. Doyle LARIATS Dax in the corner, then whips him corner to corner!
Doyle runs up, Dax ELBOWS back and fires off CHOPS! Dax bumps Doyle off buckles, tags Cash, and snap suplexes Doyle down! Cash gets a boost in the SLINGSHOT SPLASH! Cover, ONE!! Doyle is tougher than that, but Cash basement DROPKICKS him down! Cash jump stomps away at the ropes, then rains down fists. Cash fires up, the fans are with him, but Doyle is right back up! BODY CHECK! Doyle fires up and the fans cheer him on now! Doyle vows to end this with Davis! They get FTR up, and Doyle runs in for a DOUBLE SPLASH! Davis adds a DOUBLE SPLASH! The fans fire up and Doyle puts Dax up top. Doyle ROCKS Dax again and again, then climbs up. Doyle brings Dax up, but Cash YANKS Doyle down! And DDT off the apron! Davis LARIATS Cash for that, then goes up after Dax himself! But Dax slips under, trips Davis up, and he goes up to get behind Davis. They go to the very top, for a SUPER DUPER BACK SUPLEX!! Cash goes up to add the GLORY!! Cover, TWO?!?
Davis survives and the fans fire up but Stoke is upset with the ref! FTR regroups to get Davis up, and they whip for the- NO, Davis BOOTS Dax and LARIATS Cash out! Then Davis has the SLEEPER on Dax! Dax RAMS Davis into buckles, but Davis holds on! Davis uses the buckles to kick back but Davis just holds on tight! Dax is fading, Cash is climbing up, but who is this getting on the apron? Is that Daniel Garcia? The Death Riders are here at ringside as Dax FLINGS Davis out! Garcia distracts the ref so that Moxley can CLOBBER Davis with the Continental Championship! Payback for the sneak attack earlier!

Renee Paquette is with Freshly Squeezed and says she is glad to catch up with him. She would love to talk the ongoing saga with The Death Riders, and specifically, his history with Wheeler Yuta. Cassidy says it feels like forever but it’s been just five years. To think back on where Yuta was five years ago and to see where he is now… Who is that? He is unrecognizable! Look at that dumb, bushy beard! And that hair that’s a little too long to be cool but not so long that- Yuta steps in and tells Cassidy he can’t believe this is what they’re resorting to now. Sure, Cassidy doesn’t like the Death Riders or how Yuta gets the job done, but now he’s insulting personal appearances?
What? Should Yuta get himself a “Canadian tuxedo” (all denim outfit) like Cassidy? Maybe slick his hair back? Marina even GRABS Cassidy by the hair! But then TONI STORM storms in! And she tells Marina that Marina is like a dose of The Clap. No one knows how she got here but she needs to just go away. Marina asks Toni, “Do you need some more milk? Or would you like me to send your girlfriend some more flowers?” Toni says she needs Marina to piss off! The winner here moves on to Dynamite in Las Vegas to face Kenny Omega, and the winner of that goes on to Grand Slam: Australia to face Hangman Page for the right to be THE #1 contender! But will the night have a tranquilo ending? Or will Austin be Swerve’s House?
The bell rings and Callis of course rejoins commentary for this, suddenly back to speaking Espanol badly. Then he insults Nana, saying he shouldn’t even be out here, he barely does anything. Swerve and Andrade circle while the fans chant, “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Andrade laughs that off as he and Swerve circle. They tie up, are in a deadlock, and Andrade headlocks. Swerve powers up but can’t power out, and now fans chant for “I-DO-LO! I-DO-LO!” Swerve powers up and powers out this time, but Andrade RUNS him over, then cocky covers! Swerve is up before a count even starts, and he says it’s gonna be like that, huh?
Swerve and Andrade start pushing, and the fans fire up as the pushing becomes forearms! Swerve KNEES low, whips, but Andrade reverses. Andrade hurdles, Swerve cartwheels over, and Swerve RANAS, but Andrade handsprings through! Andrade RANAS, but Swerve handsprings through! Swerve picks a leg, rolls with Andrade, but Andrade avoids the House Call! The fans fire up as Andrade backs off and Swerve smirks. Swerve says it was that close, and the fans cheer “A E DUB!” for making this match possible. Andrade and Swerve reset, circle, and feel things out. They knuckle lock, and Andrade kicks low!

Swerve SOBATS, HAYMAKERS, then ROLLING- NO, Andrade ROCKS Swerve first! Andrade fires boxing elbows, then fires up to underhook! Swerve fights the Message to wrench and ELBOW! Then Swerve runs, but into the SHADOW ELBOW!! Both men are down but Andrade manages to cover, TWO!! Swerve gets his arm up just in time and the fans are loving this! Callis is, too, oddly. The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but the show’s gotta end somehow! The dueling returns while Nana coaches Swerve.
Andrade rises, the fans clap along, and Andrade goes corner to corner and back again, into a JUMPING HOUSE CALL!?!? Cover, TWO?!?! Andrade survives and shocks everyone! Swerve snarls and goes to the corner. Swerve climbs, but Andrade trips him up! Andrade CLUBS Swerve, climbs up after him, then fires more hands. Andrade shifts around, “This is Awesome!” as Andrade climbs onto Swerve! SUPER POISON-RANA!!! And then Swerve ends up in a corner! CIEN KNEES!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Swerve survives, the fans can’t believe it, but Andrade skips that for LA SOMBRA DDT!!! Cover, TWO??!?!? HOW?!?!?
The fans are thunderous for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Callis says Aubrey Edwards failed math if she can’t count to three! Andrade underhooks but Swerve fights with all his might! Trip and jackknife, TWO! SHADOW EL- NO! Half nelson fir BIG PRESS- VICTORY ROLL! TWO!!! Both men stand, HOUSE CALL!!! But Swerve isn’t satisfied, he adds the BIG- NO, Andrade grabs at Aubrey! She gets away, but misses the LOW BLOW MULE KICK!! The fans boo but Andrade hits the DIRECT MESSAGE!! Cover, Andrade wins!!
Winner: Andrade El Idolo, by pinfall (advances to next week)
Callis loves it! El Idolo took the low road, but now he’s meeting another of his nemeses in Kenny Omega for another high stakes match! Will Andrade make things tranquilo in Vegas? Or will the Latin Idol not survive Sin City?
Renee is quickly with MJF to get his response to this development. Andrade VS Kenny, MJF VS Brody, how is he feeling? MJF chuckles and says he’ll explain something to us: “That oversized bag of milk with sharpie written all over him thinks he can beat the world champion. He’s got another thing coming. It’s not happen-” But then Kenny walks in! And he tells MJF, “Where are my manners? Look, I should’ve said hi to you earlier, but I just wanted you to know… One more week, one more win. And then I’ll see you for that at Revolution. So here’s to our future title match.” Omega offers a handshake, but MJF leaves him hanging.
MJF turns around and walks away, only for Andrade to be walking back in through the curtain. El Idolo and The Devil stare down. Andrade says he’d slap MJF right now if he could. But first, he’ll get the title. MJF keeps on moving, AEW Media following, and we go to the parking lot. MJF’s ride is waiting, but before he can open the door, Hangman Page is there! The Cowboy looks at MJF, and then the belt, then nods to the car. MJF gets in the car and tells the driver to go. The car takes off real fast into the night, and Hangman Page has a smirk on his face. Is the Scumbag finally feeling the pressure now that the walls are closing in?
My Thoughts:
A great Dynamite here, at least when it comes to action. I don’t want to say “typical,” but it does seem to happen a noticeable amount of times that Tony Khan doesn’t fully think things through. He basically gave us a tournament without giving us a tournament. Granted, maybe he was gonna give us a tournament before Samoa Joe went down with an injury during training, because Joe VS Hangman would’ve been some awesome stuff for either tonight or Collision this Saturday. But great promo from Schiavone with Kenny to help kick off the explanation on how things are going, and Hangman basically gets the bye cuz no Joe, and he already beat Shibata before.
Great promo from MJF and Brody, and them setting up a Title Eliminator was a natural move. Honestly, I feel like Brody should win the Eliminator so that we can get MJF VS Brody for Australia and add to that night. Then it at least teases the possibility of Brody VS Hangman/Omega, though those still aren’t very likely. Andrade VS Swerve was a great main event, but given this was leading to a match with Kenny, it makes sense that Andrade won. And the ending segment was great to tease all the possibilities for MJF. Depending on how they play this, they can detour Hangman away from the title by having Joe interfere so they can finally settle things at Revolution.
Awesome match from Kris VS Thekla, and I did appreciate they put the tag title deal forth. Granted, I don’t see Skye & Julia winning the tag titles on a Collision. Plus, Megan and Penelope just made their interests known: All the belts. They would of course be a Two Woman (Goddess?) Power Trip, Megan as the world champion, Penelope as the TBS. Granted, one of those is likelier than the other, and it’s Megan overpowering Kris. As I’ve said before, the tag title match should be for Grand Slam Australia. Harley & Willow can win big over Megan & Penelope in front of Harley’s family and friends, and then we get Megan VS Kris and Penelope VS Willow for Revolution.
Good promo from The Young Bucks but it feels like a week late. I get the nature of their surprise return to help Jack Perry with The Demand, but then this promo should’ve been the very next show. And very good beatdown style promo from The Demand and Jack Perry, but something about it also felt out of place. Why not have this happen on Collision last Saturday after Jack had his promo warning Ricochet? It’s almost like admitting Collision isn’t watched by many, or doesn’t matter, or both. That aside, this makes me think Jack is definitely taking the AEW National Championship so he can do some traveling to other promotions, too.
Don Callis Family was super busy tonight. Rocky of course lost to Kenny, but then we ran into more of the odd decisions by TK. Moxley VS Ace was a great match, and as great as Ace is, Moxley winning made sense. Konosuke confronting him for the Continental title also makes sense, and even Davis & Doyle attacking Moxley on Konosuke’s behalf made sense, until we didn’t have the tag title match right then. Granted, waiting on the tag title match gave Moxley kayfabe-believable time to recover and come back with the Death Riders. But maybe that could’ve still happened regardless. Also maybe it would’ve saved Doyle’s bicep, which he tore during the match. AEW’s injury bug is more like an injury curse and no one wants to address the elephant in the room.
Even considering the bicep tear and overbooking, a great tag match from FTR VS D&D, and now there’s more heat between Death Riders and DCF. Conglomeration seems to be feuding with both those factions at the same time, though. Cassidy & Toni had a very good promo from Marina & Yuta, that is clearly our mixed tag match, and I wonder if Mina Shirakawa gets involved to “accidentally” cost Toni & Cassidy. Briscoe VS CLON was an awesome match, and an awesome showing for Clon, but his win streak is over already. But as I’ve said before, Clon ended up in a bad situation after Hologram’s injury, and this was good enough for now.
The big stuff from the Don Callis Family was the sibling rivalry of Okada and Takeshita taking another twist where Kyle is stuck in the middle again. Again, a Don Callis Family Civil War is coming, and it feels like Kyle is the tiebreaker in that situation. Whichever side he chooses (and he should choose Konosuke) wins out in the end.

Matt & Nick Jackson stepped to Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona to help “Jungle” Jack Perry, but it didn’t help Jack win the National Championship. Now, we kill two birds with one stone as these teams settle a score while also earning themselves a golden opportunity! Will there be a Superkick Party in Vegas? Or will Kaun & Liona slam the gates shut?
The teams sort out, and the fans chant for “THE! ELITE! THE THE ELITE!” Liona and Matt step up, tie up, and Liona SHOVES Matt away. Matt comes back but Liona SHOVES him down again! Matt slips around, headlocks, but Liona powers up and out. Liona RUNS Matt over, but Matt gets back up! Liona scoops to SLAM Matt, and the fans boo while Liona flexes. Matt scrambles away, he tags in Nick, and the fans rally up again. Liona smirks as Nick takes his time. Nick then runs up, but Liona scoops! Nick shouts for Matt to help but Liona SLAMS him down! Liona flexes, then ELBOW FLOPS as Nick dodges!
Nick trips Kaun up, RAMS into Liona, then goes up and over. Matt tags in The Bucks pinball Liona around, then they DOUBLE DRPOKICK! Kaun tags in before Liona runs back up, but The Bucks DUMP him out! The Bucks then DOUBLE DROPKICK Kaun! Cravat and ASSISTED SLICED BREAD! SHINING WIZARD! The fans fire up for The Bucks while Kaun bails out. The Bucks aim, and they STEREO PLANCHA! But GOA catches them both! And they SANDWICH The Bucks in front of commentary! The fans boo but Kaun puts Matt in the ring. Kaun stomps Matt, tags Liona, and they get Matt up to double whip.
GOA RUN Matt over, then they throw up the Demand hand sign. They clamp on STEREO SHOULDER CLAWS! Nick runs up to fire off hands, but neither Kaun nor Liona is bothered. Nick puts some stank on the CHOPS! That just annoys GOA more than anything. They let Matt go but now Nick has their focus. Nick apologizes, then fires hands! The fans fire up for Nick, he runs the ropes, but into a DOUBLE- NO, Nick handsprings through the hip toss! He ducks and Kaun ROCKS Liona! Liona winds up but Nick ducks again, Liona ROCKS Kaun! Matt joins in, The Bucks double kick, then Matt gives Nick the boost! DOUBLE DROPKICK!
The fans fire up as GOA tumbles out again! The fans rally behind The Bucks, and Matt WRECKS GOA with the dropkick! Matt holds the ropes down and Nick FLIES, but GOA catches him! They POWERBOMB him into Matt! Both Bucks are down but GOA drags Matt in. Tag to Liona, APRON SENTON! Matt writhes and sputters, but Kaun adds a DROPKICK of his own! GOA applaud mockingly while the fans boo, and Liona drags Matt back into the ring. Kaun covers, TWO! Matt survives but Kaun tags Liona. They whip Matt to a corner, then Kaun trips Matt up! CATAPULT into a HEADBUTT from Liona!
The fans boo more but GOA just soak up heat. Cocky cover, TWO! Liona CLUBS away on Matt while Collision goes picture in picture.
Liona soaks up heat as he looms over Matt. Matt crawls but Liona puts him in the GOA corner. Liona RAMS Matt, tags Kaun, and GOA mugs Matt in the corner. The ref counts, Liona argues with him but Kaun digs his boot in! Kaun then drags Matt up, CHOPS, but Matt hits back with forearms! Matt fires off on Kaun, and on Liona, but Liona grabs Matt by the hair! Matt BOOTS Kaun then HOTSHOTS Liona! Matt goes up, MISSILE DROPKICKS Kaun, and Nick rallies the fans. Matt crawls, but Liona tags in! Liona BLASTS Nick! Liona then drags Matt up to SLAP him around. Liona pie faces Matt, but Matt reboudns to CHOP!
Matt CHOPS and fires forearms, but Liona jsut gets mad! Matt runs, but Liona LARIATS him down! Liona drags Matt around, brings him over, and bumps him off buckles. Tag to Kaun and Kaun stomps Matt down. Kaun KNEES low, then holds Matt back with a facelock. Matt still fights his way for Nick, but Kaun ELBOWS Nick down! Kaun RAMS Matt into the GOA corner, tags Liona, and Linoa RAMS into Matt again and again! The ref counts, Liona backs off, then he SMACKS Matt down! Tag to Kaun as Collision returns to single picture. Kaun sends Liona, but Matt dodges! Kaun LARIATS Matt, then RUNNING-
NO, Matt slips free of the suplex, dodges Kaun, but Kaun CLOBBERS Matt before he can tag out! Kaun whips Matt to a corner, runs in, but Matt goes up and out! DIAMOND DUST on Liona! The fans fire up for Matt as he rises up! Matt goes to the apron, he slides under Kaun, and hot tags Nick! The fans fire up as Nick fires shots on Kaun! Nick whips, Kaun reverses, but Nick ELBOWS him! Then in the corner, SHINING WIZARD, GAMANGIRI, FOREARM, and BULLDOG! The fans fire up for that classic combo, and then Nick goes out to PENALTY KICK Liona! SLINGSHOT FACEBUSTER on Kaun, MOONSAULT on Liona!
The fans fire up even more as Nick goes up, up, and CROSSBODIES! Cover, TWO! Kaun is tougher than that but the fans still cheer The Bucks. Nick drags Kaun up, tags Matt, and The Bucks put Kaun in the ropes. Liona runs up, but he’s sent into Kaun! Then The Bucks whip Liona to the corner. Matt sends Nick in, but Liona puts Nick on the apron! Matt runs in, he’s also put on the apron. The Bucks DOUBLE ENZIGIRI Liona, then Nick goes up again! DOUBLE STOMP and a somersault, DRAPING BACKSTABBER on Kaun! The fans fire up as The Bucks each pick a big man! They go up the corners, MACHO ELBOW AND SWANTON IN STEREO! Cover, TWO!!
The GOA survives but the fans still cheer The Bucks. Liona bails out so Matt brings Kaun up. Matt fireman’s carries while Nick climbs, but Liona stops this before it gets started! Liona sends Matt into Nick, then he fireman’s carries Matt! And he adds Nick to the stack! DOUBLE SAMOAN DROP! The fans boo while The Bucks bail out. Kaun aims and he DOUBLE PLANCHAS The Bucks down! The fans still boo, but Kaun lines The Bucks up for Liona to ASAI MOONSAULT! Not the cleanest flip but it still takes The Bucks down! GOA puts Matt back in, then gorilla presses, to throw him into the POUNCE! Nick slingshots in, but Kaun DROPKICKS him down!
The fans boo but GOA hauls Matt up, WHEELBARROW CUTTER COMBO! Cover, TWO! Matt survives and the fans fire back up! GOA drags Matt up, hoist him up, but Matt kicks and flails! They said they were getting back to their roots, and they got the win with a classic! But then, before The Bucks can really celebrate, FTR interrupts via the tron. Cash Wheeler introduces himself, Dax Harwood & #BigStoke, and Stokely congratulates The Bucks for winning and advancing to the #1 contenders match. But to think that in 2026, the Year of Our Lord, Beyonce Knowles, it is The Bucks thinking they will become AEW World Tag Team Champions. But Stoke knows why, it’s because The Bucks want their moment holding up the belts while their boy, Kenny Omega, is once again AEW World Champion, and they want Jungle Jack to be some kinda champion.
The Elite want their moment, but guess what? It’s not gonna happen, because you wanna relive the good ol’ days. The thing about the “good ol’ days” is, they’re the old days! Stokely wishes he could feel his legs so he could get out this chair and SLAP reality back into The Bucks! Dax says we don’t even know who the third team is, but that’s okay, because what we do know is that The Bucks, for the better part of ten YEARS, have been chasing FTR’s legacy. And that’s okay, because that’s a legacy they will never catch. FTR are THREE-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions, but more than that, they are ELEVEN-TIME World Tag Team Champions!
So good luck in Ontario, California, FTR actually does hope The Bucks advance. Because it’d be no better pleasure than FTR giving Bucks one last loss. Because The Bucks might be good, but they’re not FTR good. #TopGuysOut! The Bucks don’t take any of that seriously, but will there be a Superkick Party in SoCal? Or will that wild card team be quite the surprise?

It was after the main event on Wednesday that the King of Death said, “I just did exactly what I was going to do, and I earned my title shot at Grand Slam: Australia. It is not lost on me that there are many people that would consider that the biggest win of my career. And y’know what? They’re right. Until next Saturday at Grand Slam: Australia.” Brody is more than ready for his rematch with MJF, but will the Scumbag find a way to hold onto his title Down Under?

She welcomes us back to Collision, and says without further ado, give it up for THE AEW Women’s World Champion, Kris Statlander! Vegas cheers as the Cosmic Killer makes her way out to the ring, holding up the title. Kris grabs her own mic as she joins Renee, and Renee says next week on Dynamite, Kris will have one more match with Thekla for the title, but the caveat is that Kris gets to choose the stipulation. The fans are reacting to something, though, and Renee turns around to see Thekla in her Spider Stance! Renee bugs outta there, Kris turns around into the TOXIC SPEAR! The fans boo but Thekla invites the Triangle of Madness in.
The fans boo as Skye Blue & Julia hart hold Kris down so Thekla can use her own belt to LASH Kris again and again! Then Thekla grabs the mic to tell Big Stat Daddy, “I don’t care what the stipulation is! The end will always be the same!” Then she LASHES Kris more! The fans boo as Thekla stands over Kris and holds up the title belt. “The end will be toxic!” The fans boo as The Triangle of Madness stand over Kris. But as they leave, Kris grabs her mic! Kris shouts at Thekla to get her attention, then says, “You stupid b*tch. Now… You get to meet STRAPLANDER!” The fans like the sound of that!
Kris says this Wednesday, Kris and Thekla, in a LEATHER STRAP MATCH! Thekla smiles and nods, and it is official! Who will literally get to whip the hell out of the other in order to prove they are THE alpha female of AEW?
Backstage interview with Kyle Fletcher.
Lexy Nair is with The Protostar and brings up Tommaso Ciampa winning the TNT Championship. Kyle made it clear that night that Kyle wanted the TNT title back. But then Ciampa issued the open challenge, only for Kyle to skip it. That allowed Roderick Strong AND Claudio Castagnoli to answer it instead. Kyle says Ciampa wants to keep the tradition of the TNT Open Challenge alive, and yet he’s changing the rules so that it’s come one, come all, bring everyone and your grandma! Kyle does not respect that. Now, Roddy and Claudio have jumped Kyle in line, and… Kazuchika Okada steps in!
Kyle says hey, Okada says hi, and Okada says they’re family. Okada cares about Kyle’s success, unlike Takeshita, who is just so focused on himself and that Continental Championship. So Okada wants Kyle to walk into his home country for Grand Slam: Australia as the TNT Champion! Whoever wins tonight, Kyle should make it clear that he is next. Take that title back so you can be a champion, just like Okada. Okada then adds, “Protokada~!” before he leaves. Passive aggressive or not, The Rainmaker does have a point. Who will the Aussie Arrow be aiming for after tonight’s main event?

#JetSetRodeo have put out the challenge for trios to step up and come for the AEW World Trios Championships. They wanted the Don Callis Family, but they’re getting The Closer first! Who proves themselves the highest flyer here in Vegas?
The bell rings and the fans rally up already. Scorpio and Knight circle, but then Scorpio takes a moment to appreciate the “S C U! S C U!” chants. Knight says SCU’s time has passed! Ouch! Scorpio and Knight tie up, are in a deadlock, but Knight powers Scorpio to a corner. Scorpio turns it around, the ref counts, but the two go around along the ropes! They go in and out of corners, but then Knight traps Scorpio! The fans cheer, the ref counts, and Knight lets off. Knight and Scorpio reset, the two talk a littl emore trash, then they knuckle lock. They go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strenght, then Scorpio rolls to wrench and wristlock.
Knight stays on his feet to roll, handspring, and wrench. Knight WRINGS the arm, then drops a knee! The fans cheer but Scorpio reaches up to headscissor. Knight endures the squeeze, kips free, but Scorpio arm-drags back! Scorpio holds Knight down, but Knight rolls back. Scorpio wrenches again to headlock, but Knight powers up and out. Scorpio RUNS Knight down, taunts him a bit, then builds speed. Knight drops down, hurdles over, but Scorpio doesn’t leap over! Knight avoids the stomp with a kip up! Knight wags his finger and says, “Gotta be faster than that.” The fans cheer as Knight shows off the muscles.
Knight and Scorpio reset, but then Scorpio shows off his kip up, and his flexing! The fans cheer and Daniels says it’s running wild. Knight plays the bald card! The fans chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” Knight shows off the hair, but Scorpio CHOPS him! And CHOPS again! Knight CHOPS back! Scorpio pushes Knight to the corner, UPPERCUTS, then has him in another corner. Scorpio whips, Knight reverses, but Scorpio goes up. Knight stops Scorpio from going over to throw him onto the top rope! Scorpio lands where the sun don’t shine! Knight then triangle jump DROPKICKS! Scorpio falls off the rope and hits the edge of the ramp!
Daniels checks Scorpio, tells him to take a breath, and Scorpio slowly sits up. Scorpio goes to the apron but Knight builds speed! Knight FLYING LARIATS Scorpio at the ramp! The fans fire up with Knight while Collision goes picture in picture!
Knight drags Scorpio up, TOSSES him into the ring, then hurries to sit Scorpio up. Knight SLAPS Scorpio’s bald head, then runs for a SLIDING SHOULDER TACKLE! Cover, TWO! Scorpio toughs it out but Knight stays on him with a chinlock. Scorpio endures, but Knight drags him back by an arm for a leg drop! Then a short arm scissor! Scorpio endures, Daniels coaches him up, and Scorpio fights around. Scorpio pops free to then float to a facelock. Scorpio brings Knight up, whips him hard to a corner, and Knight slumps down the buckles. Scorpio storms up to stomp a mudhole in, but the ref counts.
Scorpio stops at 4, argues with the ref a bit, but goes back to Knight as Collision goes to break.
Collision returns and Knight whips, only for Scorpio to reverse. Knight goes up and over, Scorpio turns around, into Knight’s LEAPING LARIAT! Clearly not what Roddy expected, but he still has the title shot. “LEXYYY~! What a great observation. Things lately haven’t been going the way I expected, that’s why a change is very necessary. And that is why I answered Tommaso Ciampa’s TNT Open Challenge.” Mark Briscoe steps in, and he apologizes for interrupting. But he loves Roddy taking the initiative for answering the Open Challenge. It’ll be one hell of a fight. Just like how last week, Briscoe and Ciampa had a hell of a fight.
Briscoe says hey, he really believes Roddy has what it takes to become the TNT Champion. Just like Briscoe thinks he still has what it takes to become TNT Champion when he gets another shot. Roddy runs up, dodges Claudio, and he KNEES Ciampa in the corner! Claudio comes back, but both Roddy and Ciampa dodge! Roddy runs side to side to ROCK Claudio, ROCK Ciampa, but then Ciampa LEBOWS Roddy! Ciampa dragon sleepers Claudio, catches Roddy, FLATLINER REVERSE DDT COMBO! The fans fire up while all three men are down! Roddy goes to a corner, Ciampa rises at center and he stomps Claudio. The fans duel as Ciampa CHOPS and ROCKS Claudio, then ROCKS him again. But Claudio CHOPS in return! The CHOPS go back and forth, then Ciampa makes it about SLAP after SLAP!
Claudio fires forearms, then a knee down low! Claudio reels Ciampa in, then kicks Roddy. Claudio has them both, but they fight the double suplex! They DOUBLE SUPELX Claudio instead! The fans fire up while Claudio tumbles out. Roddy then DECKS Ciampa! Ciampa goes to the apron, Roddy is after him, and they fire off CHOPS! The fans rally as the CHOPS go back and forth. Ciampa kicks low, fireman’s carries, but Roddy fights free! Roddy ROCKS Ciampa, Claudio YANKS Ciampa into a fireman’s carry, but then Roddy WRECKS them both with a dropkick! The fans fire up as Roddy sends Claudio into railing! And then CLUBS him!
Roddy brings Claudio around, reels him in, but Claudio fights the lift! Claudio SMACKS Roddy off the railing, then tells fans to move! The fans do what they can before Claudio GOURD BUSTERS Roddy on the railing! The fans cheer but then Claudio spots Ciampa. Claudio runs up, Ciampa drop toeholds him into a chair! Then a KNEE LIFT for Roddy! Ciampa runs back at Claudio, but into a gorilla press! And Claudio aims to THROW Ciampa on the desk! Ciampa falls in a heap while the fans are thunderous, and Collision goes picture in picture!
Claudio is feeling good while he goes back for Roddy. Claudio drags Roddy up, makes him take a seat, and then dumps him into the front row! Roddy sputters on the floor while Claudio goes back to Ciampa. Claudio pushes Ciampa in the ring, then goes to the railing so he can DOUBLE STOMP Roddy down! Claudio goes back to the ring, goes up a corner, and he AX HANDLES Ciampa! Claudio soaks up cheers and jeers while he paces around. Claudio clamps onto Ciampa with a chinlock, then shifts to a neck wrench. Ciampa endures while Roddy sputters on the outside. Ciampa BITES Claudio’s hand!
Ciampa fires hands on Claudio but Claudio UPPERCUTS him down! Claudio then runs to BOOT Roddy back into the crowd! The Swiss Cyborg is truly a machine as he goes back for Ciampa. Claudio scoops and SLAMS Ciampa! Then ELBOW DROPS! Cover, TWO! Ciampa toughs it out but Claudio keeps on him with a chinlock. Ciampa endures, fights up, and fights around. The fans cheer him on, and Roddy flounders back to ringside. Ciampa rises up but Claudio KNEES him low! Collision returns to single picture and Claudio takes aim. Claudio runs corner to corner, but into a BOOT! Claudio UPPERCUTS Ciampa down!
The fans rally as Claudio goes up the corner, stands Ciampa up, and deadlift SUPER- NO, Ciampa fights the superplex to land on the corner! They brawl up top, but Roddy is in! Ciampa CHOPS Claudio and Claudio falls, into Roddy’s ATOMIC FACEBUSTER! Then Roddy sees Ciampa leap, and he DROPKICKS Ciampa outta the sky! The fans fire up as Roddy hooks Ciampa up, BACKBREAKER! Then the underhooks, TIGER DRIVER! High stack, TWO! But Roddy has the legs! STRONG HOLD!! Ciampa endures as Roddy sits deep! The fans rally as Ciampa reaches out, and Claudio runs up to BOOT Roddy!
Roddy not only holds onto Ciampa, but he SPITS at Claudio and eggs him on! Claudio UPPERCUTS Roddy and that knocks him down! Claudio drags Ciampa up, but Roddy stops the suplex! Roddy kicks low, he and Ciampa work together again, but Claudio fights the suplex! Claudio powers up to DOUBLE SUPLEX Roddy and Ciampa! The fans fire up and we hit the 10 minute mark, aka the halfway point! Even then, fans hope these three “Fight Forever!” Claudio runs up, Ciampa DUMPS him out, but Claudio HOTSHOTS him! Claudio UPPERCUTS Roddy down, then storms into the ring! But Ciampa has Claudio in ropes! WILLOW’S BELL!
Ciampa hurries to underhooks Claudio, FAIRYTALE ENDING! Cover, TWO!! Claudio survives so this story continues! Ciampa brings down his kneepad, and he aims at Claudio! PSYCHO- NO! Claudio blocks the knee, SPINEBUSTERS, then he SWINGS Ciampa around! Roddy is back in and he times it to DROPKICK Ciampa outta the swing! STRONG- NO, Claudio stops the jump knee to POP-UP UPPERCUT!! Cover, CIAMPA stops the ref! Claudio is furious, he gets Roddy up, but Roddy BACKDROPS free! Claudio lands out, but the STRONG KNEE hits! Another STRONG KNEE and Claudio is down! Cover, PSYCHO KNEE!! Cover, CIAMPA WINS!!
Winner: Tommaso Ciampa, by pinfall (still AEW TNT Champion)
The Psycho Killer snatches victory from the jaws of defeat, but he doesn’t get to celebrate as Kyle Fletcher makes his way out here. The fans are torn as the Protostar struts right down the ramp and into the ring. Kyle SNATCHES the belt from the ref, looks at it, then hands it to Ciampa. Fletcher is following Okada’s advice, and he has a mic to ask Ciampa, “How does it feel, champ? How does it feel to be All Elite? How does it feel to know that you will never fill my shoes?” The fans boo, but Kyle says forgive him, they haven’t been formally introduced, have they? He is the greatest TNT Champion of all time, The Protostar, KYLE FLETCHER!
And Kyle was more than happy to take the title back from that “delinquent,” Mark Briscoe, but Ciampa has thrown a spanner in the works. Now the only thing Kyle wants more than to become a TWO-TIME TNT Champion is to walk into his hometown of Sydney, Australia, one week from tonight. Kyle wants to walk into Grand Slam and get the hero’s welcome he deserves! The fans boo that but Kyle says he has a challenge for Mr. Ciampa. Next week on Dynamite, for the first-time-ever, Fletcher VS Ciampa for the TNT Championship! The fans do like that idea! Ciampa nods, then he holds up “Silvey.” Then he gives Kyle a peck on the cheek! Challenge accepted!
Ciampa goes to leave but Kyle says hold on a sec, mate. Ciampa said he came here because this is where the best wrestle? Well, next Wednesday, Ciampa finds out what the best really looks like! Mic drop from the Aussie Arrow, but will he strike gold in the Golden State? Or will Ciampa make sure “Silvey” isn’t going anywhere?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision with quite a bit put together for not just Grand Slam: Australia but also Dynamite in Ontario, California. The tag match of Bucks VS Gates went about how I expected, aka Bucks winning. With that, FTR of course had to speak. Their promo would make you think we’re getting the obvious FTR VS Bucks title match, but I’d love if that wild card team was a team that could believably win the Triple Threat and the tag titles. This could be the best possible place for Edge- er, Cope & Christian to return and get their shot at FTR. C&C VS FTR at Revolution would be a great match to finally cap off that feud from last year.
Very good promo from Brody and a great promo from MJF in response. Obviously with Dynamite being that distraction-squash what have you, Grand Slam is gonna give us a real main event level match from Brody VS MJF. But as I said on Dynamite, feels like MJF will survive to stay champion, even cheating to the max (no pun intended) to do it. Then MJF will likely face Hangman at Revolution and who knows how that goes. Hook had a good promo to let us know he will be captain of Opps for right now. Given Samoa Joe is hurt and Will Hobbs is now Royce Keys in WWE, I wouldn’t mind if Hook makes the executive decision to bring in at least one new Opps member, like someone doing well on ROH who can be “called up” to AEW.
Great match from Knight VS Scorpio, but I’m a little surprised we got this over a match with a Don Callis Family member. Good match from Mina VS Viva, but of course Mina won. The overlap of Death Riders showing up as she was exiting was good stuff, too. Very good Mixed Tag, and Yuta sure loves getting heat, it’s why he was always going after Zayda. Yuta threatening to cut Zayda’s hair to bring out Toni & Cassidy was good stuff, though, and I think Mina is going to end up a factor in the Mixed Tag. I would think she goes out there hoping to help Toni & Cassidy, but then she costs them. Though, a shaved Cassidy, or even wilder, a shaved Toni… I don’t know if they’d really pull that…
Very good promo from Kris and Triangle of Madness, in that it was an attack that then led to Kris upping the ante. Though, Thekla still having a match tonight was a bit redundant since we saw her beat up on Kris and then she absolutely squashes Brooks. I would’ve figured out how to segue from Thekla’s squash into Kris’ promo, or just flip the order completely so that Thekla squashes Brooks then attacks Kris. Either way, a Strap Match between Thekla and Kris is going to be awesome, maybe even a show stealer, and could honestly go either way. Perhaps Thekla wins on Dynamite, making her and Kris 1-1, with Revolution being the tiebreaker.
Great Parking Lot Brawl, and I like that they went with the rooftop of the parking garage. The very moment I wondered if they’d kayfabe someone being thrown off the roof, Bill threw Dez over the limo into a space we couldn’t see. But no, Dez was safe on the other side of the limo, but he didn’t make as dramatic of a reappearance as he could’ve. I did like that the limo was all smokey so they could joke about the marijuana. Isla getting involved to then motivate Myron getting involved was good stuff, too, and we got a great win for the Faces from this. I would think this is the end to the feud, there’s not much more you can do after something like this.
And great stuff with the TNT Championship tonight. Okada and Kyle had a good promo, and the Passive Aggressive Rainmaker is certainly an unexpected route for slow-burn building to Okada VS Takeshita. Great little promo from Briscoe and Roddy, with Roddy being a bit more forceful about how he’s NOT Conglomeration. Great Triple Threat for the main event, great win for Ciampa, but then great promo from Kyle to close us out and make their title match official. Now, I know they’ve teased Fletcher VS Briscoe Game 7, but I kinda want them to push on that a little longer for the sake of keeping this TNT “Division” more lively.

Kenny Omega speaks.
“One more week, one more win, and finally we can get a little bit closer to reclaiming AEW gold. In my way this week, it’s you, Andrade. And I haven’t forgotten the cowardly attack you put on me months ago. And I do know who orchestrated that attack, and that was Uncle Don Callis. Well, Don, much like you, up until this point to end my career, your efforts will be absolutely impotent. Andrade, I’ll see you in the ring soon.”
Don Callis speaks.
“Don Callis & The Don Callis Family present AEW Dynamite. That’s how it feels to me, because tonight, Takeshita takes the next step in his quest to become the Continental Champion. And he and my men are gonna leave the Death Riders laying in that Six Man Tag tonight. Same thing’s gonna happen to Hangman Page when he gets in there with the animal, Mark Davis. And then lil’ Kenny, my little b*tch nephew, you are in the ring with a real man tonight in Andrade! And Andrade is gonna stomp a hole in you and leave you for dead! And I’m gonna be so, so happy.”

Harley Cameron says tonight, the tag champs take on Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford in an eliminator match! You ladies aren’t ready to feel the wrath! Willow Nightingale says the Babes are living their dream, so every night, they have to fight for that dream! So tonight, in the middle of Las Vegas, let’s FIGHT!
Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford speak.
The Superbad Girl points to the Megasus and says we are looking at a woman who leaves a trail of bodies, and Megan says that Penelope is a woman who was sidelined for months while every woman beneath her was given a shot. Penelope warns The Babes that tonight, they’re looking at their end. Will these #SuperbadGoddesses make themselves contenders by force? Or will they fall short in this golden opportunity?
Six Man Tag: Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia, PAC VS Konosuke Takeshita, EL CLØN & Josh Alexander!
Just as that Jackal, Don Callis, said, this is all about the Continental Championship and bringing it back to the Family. But with The Dragon Slayer and The Bastard backing him up, will The Maniac be nigh unstoppable? Or can The Alpha, the Corrupted Copy, and the Walking Weapon avenge the losses the Family has suffered?
The trios sort out and Garcia starts against Alexander. They circle, feel things out, and Garcia rolls through the wrench. They tie up and Garcia waistlocks. Alexander switches, wrenches, and wrangles Garcia, but Garcia trips Alexander. Alexander holds Garcia off, they float around, and Garcia headlocks. Alexander powers up and out, they RAM shoulders, and Alexander CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Garcia fires off forearms, then runs, but into a BOOT! Alexander CHOPS Garcia, whips him, but Garcia reverses. Alexander goes up and over, slides under the boot, but Garcia CLOBBERS him! The fans cheer while Garcia eggs Alexander on.
Alexander rises up, and he backs away to tag Clon. Garcia backs off and he tags in Pac. The fans fire up as Pac and Clon circle. They tie up, Pac headlocks for the takeover, but Clon fights for the headscissor. Pac shakes that off, Clon fights to his feet, but Pac wrenches to wristlock. Clon wrenches through to wristlock back, but Pac uses the ropes to flip through. Pac wrenches, Clon rolls, handsprings, and waistlocks. Pac switches, Clon switches, repeat, but then Clon uses the ropes to go up and around! Clon arm-drags but Pac comes back to RANA! Clon tumbles, rolls back, and arm-drags, only for Pac to handspring through!
The fans fire up as Pac ELBOWS Clon down. Clon kicks from below but Pac blocks, only for Clon to KICK with the other foot! Clon kips up and the fans cheer the standoff. Pac and Clon reset, and Pac backs away to tag in Moxley. The fans cheer as Moxley stares Clon down, but Clon tags in Konosuke! The fans cheer as Maniac and Alpha step up and get face to face. Then they start throwing forearms! The fans rally as the shots go back and forth! Moxley runs to RAM Konosuke! Konosuke rebounds to RAM Moxley! They get face to face again, but Garcia and Alexander run in! Garcia CLOBBERS Konosuke, Alexander CLOBBERS Moxley, and now it’s a brawl!
The fans are torn as Pac and Clon join in with stomping down their opponents. Garcia TOSSES Alexander, then he stomps Konosuke. Garcia KNEES Clon, TOSSES him out, and Moxley brings Konosuke over to the Death Rider corner. Garcia tags in, then he tags Pac. The Death Riders mug Konosuke, then Pac pushes Konosuke down to stomp him. Pac drags Konosuke up, bumps him off buckles, then he tags Moxley. They stomp Konosuke, and Moxley even stands on him! The ref reprimands and counts, Moxley steps off at 4, but Garcia gets a shot in. Moxley stands Konosuke up, CHOPS him, then he tags Garcia in.
Garcia tags Pac, and the mugging continues. Moxley BLASTS Alexander, Garcia B OOTS Clon, then they send Pac in! Konosuke TOSSES Pac up and out! Then he dodges Garcia and DECKS Moxley! Moxley falls into the Callis corner, and Konosuke OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY SUPLEXES Garcia onto Moxley! The fans fire up with Konosuke and he crawls for his corner, but Pac anchors a foot! Konosuke stands and his height lets him hot tag Clon! The fans cheer as Clon ducks ‘n’ dodges Pac, then tilt-o-whirls to spin and SOBAT! KICK! ENZIGIRI! Clon kips up and the fans fire up> Pac whips Clon away, but Clon goes up and over, MATRIX PELE!
The fans are fired up as Clon keeps moving, but Pac dodges to SNAP GERMAN! Pac snarls and stands back up while the fans rally. Pac stalks Clon, then builds speed with the ropes, only for Alexander to trip him! Clon hits the BOX JUMP LIONSAULT! The fans are torn but Alexander drags Pac outta the ring, just to send him into railing! Konosuke and Alexander mug Pac while Clon soaks up cheers and jeers, but Moxley hurries over! Moxley gets mugged now while Dynamite goes picture in picture!
Alexander TOSSES Moxley aside, and Clon goes out to stomp Pac. Clon drags Pac up and into the ring, then he covers, TWO! Pac is tougher than all that, but Clon drags him over to tag Konosuke. Konosuke and Clon stand on Pac’s arms, and they STEREO STOMP! Pac writhes and Moxley seethes but Konosuke stands Pac up. Konosuke wrenches and snapmares to then push Pac down, ARM JAMMER! Konosuke then clamps on with a GROUND COBRA TWIST! Pac endures and he pries at the hold. Pac fights up, and he HIP TOSSES free! Konosuke hurries to tag Alexander, and Alexander CLOBBERS Pac!
Alexander also BLASTS Garcia and Moxley off the corner! Garcia is right back up but the ref pulls him back from going after Alexander! Alexander tags Clon, Clon stomps Pac, and Clon brings Pac up. Moxley tries to get in the ring, armed with a chair! The ref stops Moxley, but this just lets Clon & Konosuke mug Pac! Clon then whips Pac to CLOBBER him! Cover, TWO! Pac toughs it out but Clon drags him over. Clon tags Alexander, they mug Pac, then Alexander CLUBS Pac on the neck. Dynamite returns to single picture as Alexander stalks Pac. Alexander CLUBS Pac, Pac fires a body blow, and repeat.
The fans rally for Pac as he runs, but Alexander RAMS low! Then NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridging cover, TWO! Pac survives but Alexander smirks as he taunts Moxley & Garcia. Alexander drags Pac up, whips him tot he corner, then taunts Moxley more. Alexander runs in, but Pac BOOTS him! Pac fires elbows on The Don Callis Family, then a flurry on Alexander! But Alexander fireman’s carries to ROLLING SENTON! Alexander goes up, up, and soaks up some heat before he leaps, only for Pac to dodge! The flying knee drop hits the mat! The fans fire up as Pac crawls for his corner! Hot tags to Konosuke and Moxley!
The fans erupt as Moxley and Konosuke fire forearms back and forth! They hit harder and harder, then Konosuke fires a flurry! Moxley slips around to SAIDO! Konosuke is right up! EXPLODER! Moxley’s right up, but Konosuke ROCKS him! ROLLING- FOREARM from Moxley! Moxley runs, and he SHOTGUNS Konosuke down! The fans fire up but here comes Alexander! Moxley TOSSES him right back out! Clon leaps, but into a CUTTER! The fans fire up as Moxley strikes like a Viper, but the ALPHA ELBOW hits! RAGING- NO, Moxley slips free! Garcia sneaks the tag, and Moxley LARIATS Konosuke down!
Garcia runs up and has the leg scissor takedown! Step through and DRAGON TAMER! Konosuke endures, but Moxley adds a CURB STOMP!! Cover, but Alexander breaks it! Alexander reels Garcia in but Pac BOOTS Alexander down! Clon DROPKICKS Pac out! Clon goes to the apron, ASAI MOONSAULT! The fans fire up as Moxley builds speed and DIVES onto everyone! Renee Paquette is with The Realest, as well as Prince Nana, and brings up the unfortunate loss last week to Andrade El Idolo. That loss eliminates Swerve from the world title picture for now, so where will he shift his focus to next? Swerve chuckles and pats Nana on the shoulder. Nana steps up to say that their focus is right where it’s always been, and that’s at the top of AEW. Just because they lost one match doesn’t mean they lose focus. They ain’t going nowhere! Swerve & Nana head out, but then who will they be aiming at after Grand Slam: Australia?
Mixed Tag: Toni Storm & Orange Cassidy VS Jordan Oasis & Brittnie Brooks!
Tensions were already high between Conglomeration and Death Riders, and being attacked by The Decoder & The Problem threw gasoline on the fire! A Mixed Tag Hair VS Hair match awaits us all in Australia, and we’ve already seen great chemistry between The TIMELESS & The Freshly Squeezed. Will Toni & “Citrus Boy” turn up the heat? Or will they get caught overlooking their opponents tonight?
The teams sort out and while the fans cheer Toni, Orange steps to Oasis. The two circle, and Oasis says hold on. First shot’s free! AEW National Championship: Ricochet VS “Jungle” Jack Perry!
The One & Only already thwarted Tarzan Life once, and even made sure to sideline Luchasaurus as a warning to Jack to not try again. Instead, Jack doubled down and he got past Anthony Bowens to get this second chance. Will Jack win this one for Luchasaurus? Or will Ricochet make sure Jack goes belly up in Vegas?
The Gates of Agony walk out here with Ricochet, but he assures them he can handle this on his own now. Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona walk back up the ramp, only for Jack to DIVE onto Ricochet! The fans fire up and the bell rings as Jack HAMMERS away on Ricochet! Jack holds up the belt, the fans cheer, and Jack tosses the belt to the timekeeper before he kicks Ricochet off the ramp! The fans fire up again as Jack lines up a shot. Jack builds speed and he CANNONBALLS off the stage! The fans love it as Jack then stands Ricochet up and CHOPS him against railing! Jack brings Ricochet around and whips him into barriers!
Jack puts Ricochet in the ring, stalks him, then dodges a lariat to SPEAR! Jack HAMMERS away on Ricochet again, CHOKES him, but Ricochet kicks free. The ref reprimands Jack but he seethes as he storms up on Ricochet. Jack blocks a kick and CHOPS Ricochet again. Ricochet goes to a corner, Jack CHOPS him, then Jack climbs up. The fans cheer as Jack winds up, and they count along as he rains down fists! Jack goes all the way to TEN, then past that to about TWENTY! Jack hops down and he lets Ricochet flounder. Jack covers, TWO! Ricochet sputters but Jack stalks him. The fans taunt Ricochet with “BALD! BALD! BALD!”
The ref reprimands Jack again but Ricochet YANKS Jack into ropes! The ref now reprimands Ricochet on that, but Ricochet CHOKES Jack! The fans boo and the ref counts, but Ricochet stops at 4. Ricochet CHOPS Jack, snapmares, then runs to BOOT Jack in the back! Ricochet taunts the fans and they boo back. Ricochet rains down fists on Jack, then kneels on his neck! The ref reprimands, Ricochet steps off and argues with him, then he pie faces Jack around. Ricochet CHOPS, Jack CHOPS, but Ricochet pushes Jack down to rain down fists! The ref reprimands but Ricochet talks trash on Jack. Ricochet kicks Jack to ropes, then brings him around.
Ricochet CHOPS again, then whips Jack to ropes. Jack blocks, and he CHOPS, ROCKS, and ROCKS Ricochet again! Jack fires more shots, then whips, but Ricochet reverses. Jack KICKS the backdrop, then he ROCKS Ricochet again and again! Jack whips Ricochet, Ricochet spins and comes back, but Jack DUMPS him to the apron! Jack DECKS Ricochet, then builds speed, slide and wheelbarrow, only for Ricochet to turn it into a DESK BACK SUPLEX! The fans fire up for that while as Jack falls between Excalibur and Tony Schiavone! The fans chant “You’re Still Bald!” at Ricochet but Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Ricochet soaks up heat, then he tells Schiavone to move. Schiavone obliges and Ricochet fetches Jack from behind the desk. Ricochet whips Jack into the steel steps, then sends him into railing. Jack slumps down in the corner and Ricochet lets the ring count handle this. Ricochet waits while Jack drags himself up. Jack hobbles his way over, and he rolls in at 7 of 10. Ricochet is on him with stomps! The ref counts, Ricochet stops, but then he CHOKES Jack! The ref counts, Ricochet stops at 4, and he soaks up more heat while Jack sputters. Ricochet drags Jack up to CLUB him down, then he puts Jack in the corner.
Ricochet climbs up to CHOKE Jack in the corner, then hops off to snapmare. Ricochet stands on Jack’s hair and pulls on the arms! The ref reprimands and counts, Ricochet stops at 4, then he covers, TWO! Jack toughs it out, but Ricochet drags him around by his hair. The ref reprimands again as Ricochet pulls, but Ricochet stops to pick the hair off his fingers. Ricochet talks trash on Jack, but Jack fires body shots! Jack runs, but Ricochet hurdles, drops down, then DROPKICKS! Jack is down, Ricochet soaks up heart, and Ricochet covers, TWO! Ricochet is annoyed that Jack is still in this, and he stalks Jack to the apron.
Ricochet steps outside to bring Jack up, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Ricochet ROCKS Jack, talks more trash, then reels Jack in. But Jack fights the suplex with knees! Jack lands safe inside the ring, he ROCKS Ricochet, then ROCKS him again! Ricochet holds onto the ropes and he dodges the next shot! Ricochet CLAWS Jack’s eyes! But Jack comes back to LARIAT Ricochet and himself outta the ring! But Jack holds on to skin the cat! Then he FLIES! Down goes Ricochet, right in front of commentary! The fans fire up and Jack rises. Jack puts Ricochet in, hurries after him, and fireman’s carries. But Ricochet fires elbows!
Ricochet shoves Jack, Jack ducks ‘n’ dodges, TORNADO- NO! Ricochet fights the DDT and powers up to NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through and deadlift for the suplex! Ricochet isn’t done, and he drags Jack back out to the apron! Suplex to the apron! But Ricochet still isn’t done! He gator rolls Jack from the apron to a fireman’s carry, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER on the floor! The fans fire up again and Ricochet puts Jack in the ring. Ricochet aims, springboards, and FLYING LARIATS! Ricochet just keeps going and lifts for the POWER POWER DEATH VALLEY! Cover, TWO!! Jack survives the onslaught and Ricochet is shocked!
Ricochet rolls away to the outside, and he seethes as he thinks on what to do. The fans cheer on “A E DUB!” but Ricochet grabs his title belt. The ref sees that and he tells Ricochet to not even try it. Ricochet slides the belt into the ring, but that’s just a distraction! Ricochet runs up to LOW- NO! Jack blocks that, and he turns Ricochet around! Ricochet grabs the ropes, kicks Jack away, but Jack runs back in! Ricochet sidesteps but Jack tiger wall kicks off the corner! GERMAN SUPLEX! Ricochet lands out! But Jack dodges to SUPERKICK! Ricochet DISCUS LARIATS in return! Ricochet hauls Jack up, POWER POWER- POISON RANA!!
Ricochet sputters, Jack runs, RUNNING DDT! And then Jack fireman’s carries Ricochet, T K O!! Cover, TWO!! Ricochet survives and Jack is beside himself! Jack goes to the corner, and he says time to make a sacrifice! But Ricochet avoids the knee, rolls Jack up, with tights! TWO! Ricochet swings, Jack ducks it and now he rolls Ricochet up, TWO, but into the step over! SNARE TRAP! Ricochet endures, reaches out, and he drags Jack along as he crawls forward! But Jack drags him back! Step over and Jack CLUBS away on Ricochet! SNARE TRAP!! Ricochet endures, but GOA returns! The fans boo as Kaun & Liona coach Ricochet.
Kaun steps in, the ref has him back off, but that lets Liona DRAG Ricochet to the ROPEBREAK! Liona flips Jack off while the fans boo! Jack is beside himself as the ref counts! Jack lets go in frustration, but WAIT! The Young Bucks step out here! Matt Jackson SMACKS Kaun with a chair! Nick FLIES out onto Liona! The fans fire up as The Bucks back up Jack! They get GOA outta here, but Ricochet has the belt again. Jack storms over, but Ricochet YANKS Jack into the belt! Then he drags Jack up, VERTIGO DRIVER!! Cover, RICOCHET WINS!
Winner: Ricochet, by pinfall (still AEW National Champion)
The fans don’t like it, but what did anyone expect from The Demand? Ricochet holds onto this title, but BREAKING NEWS! The GOA and the Young Bucks will battle it out on Collision, and the winners will qualify for a Triple Threat Tag to determine the #1 Contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championships! Will The Demand be that much closer to world domination? Or can Matt & Nick get back to their winning ways?
Gabe Kidd hijacks the broadcast!
The Mad Man is in the production truck and he asks the world if we remember the time when Darby Allin put him in a body bag and dragged him around town. Gabe sure remembers! And then we see Clark Connors choking out one of the staff as he says they’ve got a little short film of their own to share! Roll it! ROLL IT!! The production guy presses the play button, and we’re in the car with the boys from earlier today. Gabe says time for a road trip. And he sticks his camera out the window to see a body bag being dragged through the Nevada desert! Gabe has Connors stop here, and Gabe speaks into the camera again.
“You said you were easy to find. I know.” They unzip the bag to confirm that it is Darby Allin all tied up with duct tap! Gabe tells Darby they’ll see him in Hell! They’re just two doors down. Connors zips things back up, and they cut the rope so that Darby is left out in the middle of nowhere! Will Darby even make it back to civilization?
AEW World Championship Eliminator: MJF VS Brody King!
The Scumbag snatched this title at World’s End, then survived his showdown with The Outlaw, Bandido. MJF showed Bandido respect, only to flush that down the toilet by trying to sideline him! Now he has incurred the wrath of the King of Death! Will MJF find a way to escape in one piece? Or is the Devil about to die in Sin City?
The introductions are raised for that big fight feel, MJF’s banner unfurls with his introduction, and he says this is the most important title, meant only for the most important man in this sport. #TripleB is put aside and the bell rings. The fans fire up behind Brody, and MJF gets a bit worried with all the barking. Brody and MJF step up, but then HANGMAN makes his way out here? MJF is pissed already and asks what Seabiscuit even wants. Brody sneaks up behind MJF, and grabs him in the SLEEPER! Brody has MJF dangling off the apron!! Brody DROPS MJF, then goes out to drag him back in! The fans fire up as MJF sputters in the corner!
Brody barks it up, the fans join in, and Hangman smiles as Brody hits the CANNONBALL! Brody drags MJF up, reels him in, GONZO BOMB!! Cover, BRODY WINS!
Winner: Brody King, by pinfall (earns a title opportunity)
The fans are going nuts and Hangman has an even bigger smile now! Brody snatches the golden ticket and is heading to Australia! But then Andrade attacks from behind?! And it does NOTHING! Brody just gets pissed now! But the SHADOW ELBOW hits! Brody falls, Andrade looks at MJF, and Andrade underhooks for a DIRECT MESSAGE! Andrade is all fire dup, but Hangman slingshots in! BUCKSHOT for Andrade!! Hangman looks down at the belt, but then he looks over to MJF. Hangman drags MJF to center, goes back to the apron, and he lines up another shot! BUCK- LOW BLOW from MJF!!
The fans boo, but Brody gets MJF again! GONZO BOMB AGAIN!! Brody once again stands tall, world title in hand! Will Brody make sure that 2026 is #JustViolence?!
My Thoughts:
A great Dynamite, they really stacked this card, and they really built up Grand Slam: Australia with it. Now, obviously Hangman was going to stay in the running for #1 contender, but he got a great match out of Davis. And then we got an awesome match from Kenny VS Andrade. I almost thought Hangman gave it away in his promo that Kenny would win, but then surprise! Andrade wins thanks to Don Callis and even Swerve. Swerve VS Kenny should definitely happen, maybe a promo on Collision sets that up for Revolution. Hangman VS Andrade is going to be great stuff, and honestly could go either way.
MJF VS Brody being that quick was hilarious and awesome, and I feel like they called an audible. Dynamite has been abusing the overrun privilege a little too much, and I think they knew that. Hangman distracting MJF right at the start for Brody to get that opening is a great way to do this, and MJF VS Brody for the title will be a great part of Grand Slam. Now granted, I don’t see Brody winning there because MJF can just cheat his way out of losing, but it would be something if MJF’s promise of an even longer second reign is ruined. MJF VS Hangman is just too good of a rematch to leave out of this, and that’d definitely main event Revolution.
Great tag title eliminator from Babes of Wrath VS #MEGABAD, and part of me is a touch surprised MEGABAD won. At the same time, I figured Willow & Harley would have a title defense in Australia, and Harley winning in front of family and friends can be a great way to get their win back. Kris had a good promo to hype up her rematch with Thekla, and she’s got quite a few different choices out there for stipulation. But if we’re doing a rematch with a No Disqualification based stipulation, wouldn’t that just let Sisters of Sin interfere and help Thekla win? But then that’d motivate Babes of Wrath countering… Feels like an interesting way to get us to the first All-Women’s Anarchy in the Arena or Stadium Stampede, whichever it’d be for Revolution.
Very fun Mixed Tag, and great to see Jordan Oasis somewhere after leaving WWE ID/Evolve. Cassidy and Toni momentarily regretting making the Hair VS Hair match is really clever, and Luther was catching some strays from Toni’s lament over baldness. Great match from Ricochet VS Jack, but what the what, TK? Does TK just roll dice deciding some of this stuff? Why give Jack a rematch just to have him lose again? You can still give us GOA VS Young Bucks and this Triple Threat Tag #1 Contenders match while putting that National title on Jack. Then that forces a tiebreaker for Revolution which can be a show stealing level match.
Very good promo from Ciampa to introduce us to “Silvey,” and a Triple Threat with Roddy and Claudio definitely feels like Ciampa can just take advantage of Roddy and Claudio hating each other. They clearly wanna save Kyle Fletcher VS Tommaso Ciampa for like Grand Slam or Revolution. Great Six Man Tag from Death Riders VS Don Callis Family, and Garcia looked great even in taking the loss for the team. Moxley VS Konosuke for the Continental title is going to be awesome, a show stealer even. As I said before, Konosuke could win that title, and then he and Okada feud in a way to recreate the Unified Championship. Maybe.
And good stuff with Gabe & Connors going after Darby. Them abducting and dragging Darby was good revenge for Darby doing that to Gabe, but this feud of Darby and Gabe just isn’t as hot as it would’ve been months ago. Gabe going back and forth between AEW and NJPW kinda hurt that, but Gabe has talked about being so dedicated to NJPW that I don’t see him moving on from there for a long time. I just hope Gabe and Darby finish this up with Revolution and then Gabe is full time back in NJPW for New Japan Cup, G1 Climax and so on.
