The fans are already telling off Yuta while Jon Moxley joins commentary. The teams sort out and Scorpio starts against Yuta. The fans taunt Yuta again as he and Scorpio circle. The tow tie up, Yuta wrenches to hammerlock, then he spins Scorpio to a cravat and snapmare. The fans boo as Yuta has the headlock, but Scorpio fights up. Yuta wrenches and wristlocks, but Scorpio rolls, rolls, and rolls to spin and wrangle Yuta to the mat. The fans cheer, but Yuta fights up and ROCKS Scorpio! Yuta whips, but Scorpio ducks a lariat to wrench and backslide, ONE! Yuta Oklahoma Rolls, ONE! Scorpio has it back, TWO!

Scorpio headlocks, Yuta powers up and out, but Scorpio RUNS Yuta over! Cover, ONE, and Yuta sweeps to cover! ONE, Scorpio runs and Darius tags in! Darius goes up while Scorpio wrenches an arm, FLYING AX HANDLE! The fans cheer as Air Wolfe wrenches Yuta, but Yuta ROCKS him, ROCKS him again, then brings him over. Yuta bumps Darius off buckles, tags Garcia in, and the fans boo as these two mug Darius. They wheelbarrow, but Darius fights free! Darius arm-drags Yuta away, but Garcia headlocks. Darius powers up and out, but Garcia RAMS Darius! Darius rolls over the drop down, then hurdles to UPPERCUT!

The fans fire up and Moxley admits, that was good. Darius runs to SPLASH Garcia in a corner, then he goes back in for an UPPERCUT! The fans rally but Garcia YANKS Darius into buckles! Garcia drags Darius up to CHOP! Garcia whips, Darius goes up and over, then Darius arm-drags! The fans rally again, and Darius drags Garcia up to wrench. Tag to Dante, they whip, but Garcia reverses. Garcia jumps, but into an atomic drop and BULLDOG KNEE SMASH! Cover, TWO! Angel Dorado wrenches Garcia, tags Scorpio, and he goes up to AX HANDLE! Scorpio wrenches Garcia, wristlocks, but Garcia endures. Pac BLASTS Top Flight just because!

The fans boo, but Garcia puts Scorpio in the corner. Tag to Pac and Pac BOOTS Scorpio! Pac stomps a mudhole away, digs his boots in, but backs off as the ref counts 4. Pac drags Scorpio up, bumps him off buckles, then tags Yuta. They mug Scorpio now while the fans boo. Yuta says he has ’til 5 and the fans boo more. Tag to Garcia, he stomps away on Scorpio, then stops at 4. Garcia brings Scorpio up, ROCKS him, but Scorpio fires body shots. Garcia CLUBS Scorpio, Scorpio ROCKS Garcia, repeat! Scorpio eggs Garcia on and the forearms start flying! Scorpio CLAWS Garcia’s eyes! The ref reprimands but the fans cheer Garcia getting a taste of his own medicine!

Scorpio whips, Garcia reverses, but Scorpio BOOTS Garcia away. Scorpio rolls to hot tag Dante! The fans fire up as Dante fires forearms! Garcia shoves, blocks a kick, but not the ENZIGIRI! Dante then dodges to springboard and SHOTGUN! Dante kip sup, the fans fire up, and Dante whips corner to corner. Garcia reverses, but Dante slips out, up, around, but Pac stops him! Garcia gets Dante for a SAIDO! Tag to Yuta and the mugging continues! The fans boo, Yuta CHOKES Dante while the ref stops Scorpio & Darius, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Yuta taunts the fans, then he drags Dante up. Dante fires body shots, but Yuta THROWS Dante down by his hair! Tag to Pac, they mug Dante again, then Pac stomps Dante around. Pac drags Dante around just to KICK him! Pac wrenches and whips Dante into the corner hard, and Dante falls from hitting buckles! Pac covers, TWO! Pac keeps Dante back from Darius & Scorpio, then drags him around. Pac bumps Dante off buckles, tags Garcia, and Garcia stomps Dante. Garcia climbs up to rain down fists! Garcia goes to nine, puts up his dukes, but then hops down. No dancing for the fans! Garcia stands Dante up, but Dante fires hands!

Garcia KNEES Dante, KNEES him again, then CHOKES him on the ropes! Garcia high-fives Marina, then drags Dante over to bump him off buckles. Pac tags in and fires off forearm. Pac bumps Dante back off buckles, then he THROWS Dante out! Pac distracts the ref for Yuta & Garcia to mug Dante! The ref has to keep Darius & Scorpio back, and Pac WRECKS Dante with a dropkick! Collision returns to single picture, the fans blame the ref for these shenanigans, but Pac covers Dante, TWO! Moxley says that was precision teamwork. Pac steps on Dante’s leg, taunts SkyFlight, then stomps Dante!

Pac bumps Dante off buckles, tags Yuta, and they mug Dante again. The fans boo but Yuta suplexes Dante to hold him up. Yuta SLAMS Dante down, covers, TWO! Dante toughs it out but Marina protests the count. Yuta clamps on a chinlock but the fans rally up. Dante rises, fires body shots, and JAWBREAKERS! Yuta swings but Dante blocks to fire forearms! The fans fire up for Dante but Yuta KNEES low. Yuta headlocks, but Dante hits a BIG back suplex! Both men crawl, Garcia tags in! He BLASTS SkyFlight! The fans boo, but Garcia picks Dante up. Yuta is up top for the FLYING HART ATTACK! Cover, TWO! Garcia drags Dante to tag Pac!

Pac SOBATS Dante, FRONT KICKS, then SOBATS! Pac runs, but Dante follows! Pac dodges, but Dante DROPKICKS! The fans fire up while Dante and Pac are down! Dante crawls, reaches out, hot tags to Yuta and Darius! The fans fire up as Darius dodges Yuta to BLAST Garcia! Then he BOOTS Yuta, goes up, and leaps over! Handspring, run, and a dodge to sling Yuta for the SPANISH FLY! Then a DIVE onto Garcia! The fans fire up again as Darius BOOTS Yuta, then hits the GET OVER HERE! Darius suplexes but Marina gets on the apron! Darius still hits the FISHERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, but Pac STOMPS it apart!

Zayda gets in Marina’s face! Admirable but maybe a mistake… Pac runs up on Darius but Darius puts him out! Scorpio KNEES Pac down! Then he and Dante build speed to DOUBLE FLY! Down go Pac and Garcia! Pac CLOBBERS Dante into railing! Darius runs, but Marina swipes at him! The fans boo, but Yuta LOW BLOWS Darius in the distraction! Tag to Garcia, and the cycle of violence starts up as Pac UPPERCUTS! Yuta ELBOWS! Garcia LARIATS! REPEAT! Then they run the ropes crisscross just to show off while Darius is in a SLEEPER! Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Lexy Nair is with Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and the AEW TNT Champion, Mark Briscoe, but before she can start, Roddy shouts, “LEXYYYY~! I am not in the Conglomeration. But what I am is not done with you yet, Death Riders.” Briscoe says yeah, matter of fact, the Death Riders AND the Don Callis Family, it don’t matter which faction it is! If you wanna conglomerate, it is 2026, just come get it! Cuz he’ll tell ya now, he won’t keep anybody waiting! The Word of the Day is MOMENTUM! The Conglomeration has all the momentum going into 2026!

Their girl, Willow, brought even more gold to the fold with that TBS Championship! The Babes of Wrath at the AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions! Briscoe is TNT Champion, which brings us to tonight! Hechicero, you a bad man, Briscoe knows what you can do, but it don’t matter! They got momentum, baby! Briscoe is coming for ya, Hechi! And Briscoe knows the Don Callis Family is lurking, but it don’t matter, because as the saying goes, when two or more conglomerate in the same place, then you have a full conglomeration! Cassidy says yes, that’s it. So The Conglomeration is about to take over the nation! LET’S GO, TEXAS! RARARARARA!

The Walking Weapon tells JetSpeed they should’ve stayed down where Mark Davis & Jake Doyle left them.

But now, they will learn a lesson, and Alexander has faith in their friends, The Demand, in teaching them that lesson tonight. Archer LAWN DARTS a guy into another, then says, “Everybody dies!” The Don Callis Family destroys everyone in their way, but will they do that to Komander and Mark Briscoe tonight? Or can Conglomeration and Conglomeration adjacent survive the Collision?

The bell rings and the fans already chant, “LUCHA! LUCHA!” Komander and Clon step up, and Clon eggs Komander on. The fans rally for Komander, he runs up, but Clon slips around to waistlock. Komander switches, Clon switches and he SLAMS Komander down! Clon flips Komander over, yanks him up, but Komander arm-drags, only for Clon to reel him in, ghost pin! TWO, Clon rolls Komander but Komander arm-drags, rolls, inverted backslide! TWO and Clon has it now, TWO! Komander has it, TWO! Both men stand and the fans cheer. Komander runs up, tilt-o-whirl arm-drag, and roll into a DRAGON’S LAIR, TWO!

Clon rolls Komander to a high stack, TWO! A roll and Clon has it again, TWO! Clon handsprings to kip up smooth and the fans cheer. The fans rally and duel while Komander catches his breath. Komander and Clon run, Komander drops then hurdles, but into a fireman’s carry! Clon tosses Komander for a HACKY SACK KICK, then a whip to the corner! LARIAT, FOREARM, SOBAT! And repeat! Clon adds a GAMANGIRI, then he TIGER WALL SAULTS! Cover, TWO! The fans rally up and Clon steps on Komander. Clon stalks Komander, ROCKS him with forearms, then stalks him to a corner. Komander shoves Clon but Clon BOOTS him!

Clon whips Komander to ropes, but Komander rolls under, tilt-o-whirls, then RANAS! The fans fire up as Clon tumlbes to ropes! Komander runs up, whips, but Clon reverses! Komander reverses, knuckle locks, and he CHOPS! Komander goes up, ARABIAN PRESS IMPLODER ARM-DRAG! The fans fire up as Clon ends up in a corner. Komander runs up, Clon puts him on the apron, but Komander GAMANGIRIS! And GAMANGIRIS again! The fans fire up as Komander climbs, then TORNILLO RANAS! The fans are thunderous for the innovation we’re seeing from both men! Komander then salutes and builds speed to DIVE!

But Clon catches and TOSSES Komander to the ramp!! The fans are torn, but Collision goes picture in picture.

Clon drags Komander up to suplex, and then SLAMS him on the ramp! The ref checks Komander but he’s still in this. Clon rolls into the ring just to refresh the count. Clon drags Komander, kicks him, then throws him into steel steps! Komander flounders as he clutches his knee, but Clon steps on him. Clon stands on Komander even, but stops as the ref counts. Clon puts Komander in the ring, clamps on a GROUND COBRA TWIST, and he pulls Komander’s leg. He RIPS at the mask! The ref counts, Clon stops at 4, and Clon paces while Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Clon has Komander on the ropes. Clon winds up to CHOP! Komander is stinging and the fans fire up while Clon stalks him. Clon whips, Komander ducks ‘n’ rolls, then he DROPKICKS a leg! Clon hobbles, but he spins Komander around. Clon ducks a kick but not the SOBAT and DDT! The fans fire up while both men are down! Komander rises while Clon crawls, and Komander runs up to CHOP! The fans fire up as Clon seethes. Clon TOSSES Komander to the corner but Komander BOOTS Clon, then CHOPS, CHOPS, and SUPERKICKS! The fans fire up as Clon goes to a corner. Komander runs in, but Clon ducks under!

Komander goes up, up, flips away and handsprings, perhaps showing off that the knee is alright. The fans fire up, Clon runs in, but Komander dodges to then whip Clon back to the corner. Komander LRIATS, keeps moving, but Clon follows! Clon jumps up, knuckle locks and MONKEY FLIPS! Then he rolls back, but Komander uses that to leap up and POISON-RANA! Cover, TWO!! The fans fire up, “Esta Lucha! <This is Lucha!>” Komander runs, but is caught into a half nelson and leg hook! But Komander fights whatever Clon is trying to then run again. Tilt-o-whirl, and Komander lands out of the slam! Komander goes up the corner, MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO!!

Clon bails out and the fans rally for “LUCHA! LUCHA!” Komander goes to the far side, climbs up the corner, and the fans fire up for his tightrope walk! All 20 feet, but Clon moves! Komander hops down and changes his plans, ESCALARA MOONSAULT! Down goes Clon and the fans are thunderous again! Komander stalks Clon around the way, puts him in the ring, and fans cheer “A E DUB!” for making this match happen. Komander goes up, tightrope walks again, CIELITO- NO, Clon moves! And goes up and over, handsprings, then MATRIX PELE! Clon aims, scoops Komander LUMBAR CHECK! Komander writhes but Clon drags him back up.

Clon torture racks for the PORTAL- DESTROYER!! Komander covers, TWO!! Komander knows that move because Hologram is his amigo, but Clon survives the counter! Komander rises, the fans rally again, “This is Awesome!” Komander shouts out Hologram to then torture rack. Clone slips free, but Komander SOBATS! Komander runs, DEST- NO, Clon pops free, half nelson and leg hook, MADE WITH MALWARE!! Cover, TWO?!?! But Clon just torture racks again! PORTAL BOMB!!! Cover, Clon wins!

An instant classic for these two, but it is the corrupted copy of Hologram that comes out on top! Will Clon to be as unstoppable as the original? Will the same go for The Don Callis Family in 2026?

Mina Shirakawa VS Lady Frost!

The Fighting Gravure Idol tried to save Toni Storm from Marina Shafir, but she got knocked out rather easily. Can Mina redeem herself here tonight? Or will all that heat be cooled off by the Coldest Wrestler You Know?

Wait, a ringside staff member says someone sent these three little bouquets to Mina. Mina is thankful to have them, though she’s not sure who they’re from. And then Frost SUPERKICKS Mina down! The fans boo, is Frost just jealous? The bell rings and Frost kicks the flowers out of the ring to then BOOT Mina to a corner. Frost CHOPS Mina, says she’s ice cold, and then winds up, just to stomp a mudhole! The ref reprimands and the fans rally for Mina, but Frost stands her up. Mina blocks the kick to DRAGON SCREW! Mina drags Frost around, has the leg, and SMASHES the knee again and again!

The fans fire up and Mina steps through, but Frost kicks her away,. Frost runs up, Mina blocks a kick, HOTSHOT and then leg sweep! Mina slingshots for the TORNILLO SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Mina stays fired up and does a gator chomp. Mina runs up, but Frost ELBOWS her away! Frost BOOTS Mina, puts her in the corner, and GAMANGIRIS! Frost then sits Mina down to go corner to corner and back again, SNOWBALL SENTON! The fans fire up while Frost puts Mina in the drop zone, then she climbs up. But Mina KICKS the legs out! The Sussex County Chicken put the Don Callis Family on notice, and now the moment of truth has come! Will Briscoe show Hechicero how to #ManUp? Or will the Alchemist of Lucha Libre make gold out of blood, sweat and tears?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is really the Face of TNT!

The bell rings and the two circle. Hechi slides then dazzles with his magic. Hechi has his leg guard up, but Briscoe rolls past to do a chicken dance. They feel things out, tie up, and Hechi drop toeholds. Hechi traps the leg, traps an arm, but Mark makes it a high stack, TWO! Hechi floats to a headlock and his body blocks Briscoe from the ropes. Briscoe pushes through to the ROPEBREAK, and the ref counts. Hechi lets go of the headlock while the fans duel, but he traps the arm to TWIST it! The fans are torn again but Hechi and Briscoe reset. They tie up, Hechi waistlocks, but Briscoe wrenches out to arm-drag Hechi down.

Hechi headscissors, Briscoe kips free, and the two reset. The two tie up, Hechi wrenches and cranks the arm, then spins Briscoe to snapmare, but Briscoe handsprings through! The fans fire up for that! The two go again, Hechi trips Briscoe and jackknife rolls to then hammerlock and headlock. Briscoe endures, fights around, and the fans rally. Briscoe fights up, but Hechi makes it a BACKBREAKER! The fans duel as Hechi puts Briscoe on ropes. Hechi KNEES then whips Briscoe to ropes, then BACKDROPS! But Briscoe lands on his feet! The fans fire up while Hechi is frustrated. Hechi and Briscoe reset and tie up again.

Hechi trips Briscoe, then runs, but he KICKS Briscoe in the dropdown! Hechi then drags Briscoe up, hammerlocks and clinches for a swing into the EL CONJURO BACKBREAKER! Hechi stalks Briscoe to a corner, then CHOPS! And JABS! And JABS! Hechi whips corner to corner but Briscoe goes up and over. Briscoe ROCKS Hechi, UPPERCUTS him, then HOTSHOTS him out of the ring! The fans fire up and Briscoe CHOPS! And UPPERCUTS! And repeat! The fans fire up with Briscoe and he fetches as chair into the ring. But Hechi anchors Briscoe on the apron! Briscoe CHOPS Hechi away, then BLOCKBUSTERS to the floor!

The fans fire up again, Briscoe high-fives fans, and Briscoe returns to the ring. The fans cheer on “A E DUB!” while Briscoe claps with the chair. Briscoe sets the chair up, builds speed, but Hechi swats the chair away! The fans boo, but Briscoe WRECKS Hechi with a dropkick! Briscoe says BANG BANG and he FOLEY ELBOW DROPS, but into an ARMBAR!! Hechi takes advantage of Briscoe’s own move to torture that arm! The fans are torn, the ref reprimands, but Hechi stops at 4. Hechi then POSTS Briscoe shoulder first! The fans duel, but Hechi chicken wings Briscoe to POST him again! Briscoe writhes while Collision goes picture in picture.

Hechi brings the chair out of the ring, then aims at Briscoe! Hechi JAMS Briscoe up! The ref reprimands but he lets this match continue? Hechi puts Briscoe in the corner to HOTSHOT the bad arm! Hechi ROCKS and HEADBUTTS Briscoe, then climbs up to rain down fists! Hechi goes to nine, then winds up for an ELBOW as the tenth! Briscoe staggers away and flops into the corner. Hechi signals he will be champion, btu Briscoe CHOPS! And CHOPS! Hechi blocks one to CALF KICK Briscoe down! Hechi again marvels with his magic, again vows to be champion, then goes back to Briscoe to stand on Briscoe’s face!

The ref reprimands, Hechi steps off at 4, but Briscoe RAMS him! And RAMS again! Hechi CLUBS away on Briscoe, then wraps on a DOUBLE WRISTLOCK! Briscoe endures what is basically a Kimura as Hechi puts on the pressure. Briscoe has a ROPEBREAK by a foot! Hechi lets go but he taunts Briscoe. Hechi ROCKS Briscoe, but Briscoe eggs him on. Hechi CHOPS, Briscoe CHOPS, then Hechi KICKS, and KICKS, and stomps Briscoe down! Hechi wraps the arm around ropes to HOTSHOT again! Hechi keeps on that arm but the ref counts as Collision returns to single picture. Hechi stops at 4, but then he smothers Briscoe in the buckles!

The ref counts, the fans duel, but Briscoe fires elbows. Briscoe runs, Hechi follows, sunset flip! Then a roll to the ARMBAR!! Briscoe endures, fights, ROPEBREAK by a fingertip! Lexy Nair is with The Mad King, #Monkey, Zack Gibson and James Drake, and thanks them for agreeing to the No Physicality clause. Now, thigs have been brewing here, but it will come to a head on next week’s Maximum Carnage edition of Collision as they go 2v2. Eddie wants to say something but Gibson interrupts. For 20 YEARS, he and Drake have had to do everything by the book just to get every single opportunity they’ve had along the way. But for someone like Eddie here, he walks the way he wants, he talks the way he wants, and he breaks every single rule that there is, yet he keeps on being rewarded.

Eddie says it’s because he wins matches. Gibson says yes, Eddie and Ortiz are great wrestlers, but the way they go about business makes Gibson sick! Drake says next week, lads, they make an example out of you. They will end the way Eddie conducts business. The worst part about this is, Eddie’s dragging Ortiz down with him, as he always does! Eddie says please, Ortiz is glad to go down in a blaze of glory with Eddie. Let it all burn! But look, if GYV wants to make it personal over how they do business, that’s fine. But you reap what you sow. And they don’t sow, they just reap! Let that marinate. Eddie & Ortiz head out, will they leave GYV out in the cold next week?

The Galaxy’s Greatest is once again friends with Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron, and they’ve got ALL the gold in the AEW Women’s Division! But that means they also have the entire AEW Women’s Division gunning for them. Will Kris, Willow & Harley be ready for the Triangle of Madness at Maximum Carnage? Or will the Renaissance Woman, #ThatGirl and The Gamer prove they’re ready to level up?

The trios sort out, and The Cosmic Killer starts against Maya. They circle, tie up, and Maya rolls Kris. Kris rolls through, Maya ducks a kick to roll Kris again, ONE! Kris waistlocks, Maya fights free then runs, but Kris RUNS her over! The fans cheer as Kris flexes, but Hyan tags in. Kris slips around Hyan to SLAM her down, then facelock. Kris drags Hyan up but Hyan wrenches out to ROCK her! Kris trips Hyan to then CATAPULT her into buckles! Kris then brings Hyan around, hits a BIG back suplex, then tags in Harley. The fans rally as Harley runs, tilt-o-whirls with Kris and SPLASHES! Cover, TWO!

Enough with the love and enough with the happiness already!” The Toxic Spider crouches on commentary as she tells the fans of AEW, “These are your champions? These are the women that you love?” The fans cheer that! “Well, that makes me sick! Now listen, that fake friendship of yours does nothing for me.

“And I’m lucky. I don’t need friends, cuz I have my sisters. And at Maximum Carnage, you, one after another, are going to learn what it means to get TOXIC!” Kris says we can all stand on things and look cool, Thekla. Kris even climbs onto the corner to make her point. But trust her, she gets it: Thekla has the sisters. But next week, they’ll all call her #BigStatDaddy! The battlelines have been drawn, but will these golden Babes stand tall in Phoenix? Or will the Triangle of Madness catch them all in their web?

Don Callis speaks.

“The Don Callis Family doesn’t make history, we write the history. And we’ve done it again this past week in Tokyo, Japan, in front of over 50 THOUSANDS fans, the great one himself, The Rainmaker, Kazuchika Okada, slayed The Ace. It is a great day to-” Kyle Fletcher steps in, and he knows WrestleKingdom 20 was a big night for The DCF, but with that out of the way, they need to talk. Someone needs to say something to Okada. Callis isn’t following. What? Did Callis not see at World’s End?

Okada not only stabbed Takeshita in the head with a screwdriver, it was KYLE’S screwdriver! The one Kyle had in case Kyle needed it against Moxley! Okada screwed them both! Callis wants Kyle to pause for a second. If he looks at this through the light of day, Kyle will see what Callis sees, which is the only one who got screwed at World’s End was Okada! Okada walked in there with the Continental Championship, and walked out without it! Kyle, on the other hand, Callis didn’t want him in the Continental Classic! He wanted Kyle focused on the TNT Championship! Kyle lost said title, so he went into the C2 to show what he could do, and he did fantastic.

But in the end, Kyle doesn’t need to worry about Okada or the Continental Championship. They should worry about the TNT Championship. Remember when they said Kyle would be the greatest TNT Champion? Well, Briscoe caught him on one, that makes their record 3-3. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that game seven is coming, and the family wants Kyle to take the title back to fulfill his destiny. That is what Callis feels is a great use of all this energy. Callis pats Kyle on the shoulder and heads out, but is The Jackal going to stay woefully and willfully ignorant? Or is someone going to force his hand soon enough?

Bandido speaks.

It was meant to be Jack Perry, Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey VS Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona on Dynamite, but The Don Callis Family made sure something happened to JetSpeed beforehand. But now that the Pride of Professional Wrestling is joining them, will Knight & Bailey be able to get some revenge? Or will The One & Only AEW National Champion slam the Gates of Agony closed on them?

JetSpeed doesn’t even wait for Bowens, they slide into the ring, dodge GOA, and CLOBBER Ricochet together! Kuan & Liona drag JetSpeed back in, Ricochet gets up and they mug JetSpeed 3v2! But here comes the 5 Tool Player! He runs up to ROCK Kaun, then jumps in to DUMP Liona! Ricochet CLUBS Bowens, whips, but Bowens grabs ropes. Bowens BOOTS Ricochet, Bailey LIGHTNING KICKS, then Knight FLYING LARIATS! The fans fire up as the bell rings, and JetSpeed double whips Ricochet to Bowens! Bowens BACKDROPS Ricochet outta the ring and onto The Gates! The fans fire up as The Demand all falls!

Bailey and Knight look to Bowens, and they wanna do it! They TRIPLE SCISSOR~! Then Bailey and Bowens DOUBLE PLANCHA onto Ricochet and Kaun! Knight can’t, the bad arm holds him back. He instead goes out to fire shots on Liona and RAM him into the apron! Kaun kicks Bailey to then RUNNING BRAINBUSTER on the floor! Liona RAMS Kevin into the railing, then POSTS him! Ricochet puts Bowens in the ring, but Bowens CHOPS him in return! The fans rally while Ricochet is stinging. Bowens ROCKS Ricochet again and again, then whips. Ricochet reverses but Bowens KICKS Ricochet away!

Bowens senses Kaun and takes a swing, but Kaun slips away. Ricochet KNEES Bowens in the back and sends him into ropes! Bowens is down, Ricochet tags Liona, and Liona tags Kaun. They double whip Bowens corner to corner, then Ricochet runs to JUMP KICK! ENZIGIRI! Kaun SHOTGUNS Bowens and Liona HIP ATTACKS! Ricochet SWINGING DROPKICKS! Cover, TWO! Ricochet and The Demand soak up the heat, then they drag Knight back in. Kaun eggs the fans on, then tags Ricochet. Ricochet takes his time revving up on the apron while Kaun scoops and SLAMS Knight. Ricochet then KNEE-BOARD SENTONS! Ricochet shines his bald head to taunt the fans, then he stomps Knight. Ricochet drags Knight over, stands on Knight’s hair and pulls the arms! The ref counts, Ricochet steps off, and Ricochet stomps Knight. Ricochet drags Knight up to put him in a corner. Knight fights but Liona tags in. The Demand mugs Knight, then scoops to SLAM him! FALLING HEADBUTT! Cover, TWO!

Liona argues the count with the ref, but Bowens rallies the fans. Liona drags Knight up, wrenches him, but Knight fires body shots. Liona YANKS Knight down, then tags Kaun. The Gates mug Knight, focusing on the bad arm. Kaun covers, TWO! Kaun SENTONS the bad arm, covers, TWO! Kaun smothers Knight, CLUBS and KNEES him in the side again and again, then mockingly applauds. Kaun si given both of JetSpeed, DOUBLE BIG ENDING! Then JetSpeed flops out of the ring. But Bwoens sends Liona into the steps! Bowens wrenches Kaun, turns him, NECKBREAKER! But Ricochet has Bowens! Bowens victory rolls thorugh, TWO!

Both men stand, Bowens SUPERKICKS Ricochet! Bowens brings Ricochet up, winds up, but the ref is used as a shield! Ricochet then ducks, O’Conner Roll with tights, TWO! Bowens has it, TWO! Ricochet runs up, FLAPJACK onto ropes! Kaun sneaks the tag, MOLLYWHOP on Ricochet!! But Ricochet isn’t legal! Kaun runs up on Bowens, LARIAT!! Then Kaun and Liona get Bowens up, whip, and CLOSE THE GATES!! Cover, The Demand wins!

Ricochet is half-conscious, but Liona helps him stand so they can celebrate. Then The Demand beats up on Bowens for pushing them this far! The fans boo, but MAX CASTER is here! But he says keep going? He’s NOT here to save Bowens? The fans cheer on The Best Wrestler Alive, but JetSpeed gets back up! Caster gets in and he starts helping! Was that all just a distraction then? The former Acclaimed beat up on Kaun, but now the Don Callis family rushes out here! They beat up on JetSpeed, Caster & Bowens, but then wait! The Conglomeration is rushing out here! Komander, Roddy, Briscoe, and Cassidy all fight the DCF!

The fans are thunderous, and now The Conglomeration and friends all stand tall! Will this build into an all out war of 8v8?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision to be one last go-home to Maximum Carnage, but also to set up things for more. Very good Six Man Tag to open, but I think there was a botch on when Marina was supposed to distract and get into it with Zayda. But either way, I figured Death Riders would win. Good stuff with Marina sending Zayda into Megan, too, but with Leila Grey out, I don’t know who Zayda could get as a tag partner against them. Pac VS Darby will be really good, and I would think Darby wins out. Though maybe Zayda asks Toni & Mina for help given the feud building between Mega Problems and Love Bombs. Mina VS Frost was a good match, but not sure why we’re throwing a “secret admirer” into this.

Good filler match for Brody King, and good promo from Bandido later. But as I said on Dynamite, pretty sure MJF wins, even if he has to cheat hardcore to do it. Maybe Brody gets a (non-title) match against MJF to go for revenge but also to try and earn a match. After all, we gotta stretch things to March, so while Hangman, Swerve and Samoa Joe sort out who gets that match, other guys like Brody can get a chance. Great promo from Mercedes Mone to write herself off from AEW for awhile. Not sure what project she might be part of in “Hollywood,” but it’d make sense if she needed time off to do that instead.

Very good promo from Josh Alexander as we get another moment of The Don Callis Family just roughing up randos. But I don’t think Don Callis was really in Japan, because they really screwed up the “live from Tokyo” promo he did. Japan is 14 hours ahead of the US East Coast, so 8PM to 10PM for Collision is 10AM to noon in Japan. Kayfabe is dead because people can’t do math. But all that aside, Kyle confronting Callis about Okada’s behavior is good stuff, and I would definitely love to see a Don Callis Family Civil War. Kyle can join Konosuke on one side, Okada will lead the other with Callis supporting him.

Awesome match from Clon VS Komander, so many times I had to replay things so I could be sure about what I saw. Great win for Clon, I’m sure he’ll build a winstreak comparable to Hologram’s so that when Hologram returns, Clon VS Hologram will be Streak VS Streak. Great promo from The Conglomeration, and great match from Briscoe VS Hechi. Briscoe winning was obviously going to happen, but Callis also talking “game seven” of Kyle VS Briscoe is itself a great TNT Championship idea, maybe for Revolution. Maybe Briscoe keeps battling other members of the DCF before then, like Josh Alexander and Lance Archer.

Then we got two great trios matches as an unofficial double main event. Very good showing for Maya, Hyan and the returning VertVixen, but of course our three women’s champions win. Good promo from Thekla, and not sure if Kris needed to respond, but it was a good response. The Triangle of Madness probably cheats to win and earn their way to title matches, and maybe we get both title matches (Kris VS Thekla for the world title, Babes of Wrath VS Sisters of Sin for the tag titles) on a special edition episode. And great stuff from Bowens & JetSpeed VS The Demand, but I figured The Demand would win.

Their beatdown of Bowens of course brought out Caster, though I do appreciate Caster pretended he was here to cheer The Demand on. We’re just a little bit closer to The Acclaimed truly reuniting, and maybe they pull it off by Revolution so they can challenge FTR for the tag titles. And even then, great ending with like 15 or 16 guys all fighting out there. They could do a massive team match or a team battle royal, just something to get all this faction fighting done in a big way. I still wonder about that Stadium Stampede involving Kenny Omega & The Elite, too.

Plans were delayed when Hologram broke down, but there’s no more waiting! His doppelganger wants his moment on screen, will he hack the system and head for the top of AEW? Or can the South African Stud figure out how to control-alt-delete this corrupted copy?

The bell rings, the fans rally up, and Clon eggs ANgelico on. The two circle, feel things out, and Clon goes for the arm to then get a chinbar. Clon wrenches, wristlocks, and puts on the pressure. Angelico spins to wrench, wrench, and top wristlock. Clon bridges, rolls, and rolls, and rolls, to then handspring and wrench back. Angelico spins, slips through, spins Clon, sweep and cover, ONE! Clon sweeps to cover, ONE! Clon kips up real smooth and the fans cheer that. Clon stares Angelico down, but Angelico jumps up and spins around to Bernie Lean. But Clon KICKS him in the back! Clon whips, Angelico reverses, but Clon slips through to the apron!

Clon then slips under to roll back into the ring, and he wheelbarrows Angelico for a spin and drop toehold onto ropes! Angelico sputters, Clon scuffs him, then runs to LARIAT! Clon fires up, the fans are torn, but Angelico goes to a corner. Clon runs in, LARIARTS and ROCKS and SOBATS to then KICK, ROCK, and GAMANGIRI! Clon drags Angelico up, snapmares, then LIONSAULTS outta nowhere! Cover, TWO! The fans rally up as Clon brings Angelico around. Angelico fires body shots, but Clon shoves him. Angelico rolls off Clon’s back but Clon avoids the sweep to KICK and TORNADO DDT!

The fans fire up and Clon brings Angelico up. Clon puts Angelico against the ropes to then wind up and CHOP! The fans fire up for that, and Angelico snarls. Angelico SMACKS Clon! Clon shakes it off, swings, but Angelico ducks! Clon jumps a sweep but the EDDY GORDO KICK hits! The fans fire up and Angelico runs in, but Clon goes up and over! Clon handsprings, kips up, then PELES! Clon scoops Angelico for a LUMBAR CHECK! Clon then loads up the C, torture racks Angelico, and AIRPLANE SPINS into the PORTAL BOMB!! Cover, Clon wins!

While Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa fell short in Blood & Guts, and fell short in the Women’s Tag Team Tournament, and have gotten involved with some rather nuts mixed tag matches lately, they won’t stop chasing the gold they want to hold! Will this Collision be an affair to remember? Or will #ThatGirl and the Renaissance Woman show them a thing or two about a thing or two?

The teams sort out and Mina starts against Maya. The fans fire up and even duel, and the two tie up. Maya wrenches and wristlocks but Mina rolls and kips up to arm-drag free. Things speed up, but Mina slides to shimmy and shake. Maya says hold on, then sets up, but she doesn’t slide, she SUPER- NO, Mina blocks the kick and trips Maya up! Maya kicks Mina away, flips over to avoid the splash, then goes Matrix to go up and over Mina! The fans cheer while Maya says kiss this! Maya avoids a sweep, Mina ducks a roundhouse, but then Maya ducks a roundhouse, and both show forearm! The fans cheer the standoff, and they back off to their corners.

Tag to Hyan and Toni and the fans cheer again. Toni offers a handshake, Hyan takes it, and then Hyan reels Toni in for a headlock. Toni powers up and out the back, then headlocks in return. Hyan endures as the fans duel, and Hyan powers up and out. Toni RUNS Hyan over, then keeps moving, but she redirects to SHOTGUN Hyan down! The fans cheer, and Toni drags Hyan up to snap suplex! Tag to Mina, Mina brings Hyan around, and Mina snap suplexes! Tag back to Toni while the fans duel, and Toni scoops Mina to YOYO SLAM her onto Hyan! Cover, TWO! Hyan toughs it out and the fans rally up as she RAMS Toni into the corner.

Maya tags in, she and Hyan mug Toni, then they double whip. Toni ducks ‘n’ dodges to DOUBLE SHOTGUN! The fans fire up for Toni and she runs to HIP ATTACK Hyan off the apron! They tie up, Marina wrenches an arm and grinds it, then spins Dior to kick low! And KICK her down! Marina drags Dior over, BOOTS Chanel because she can, and whips Dior to the corner! LARIAT, then a tag to Megan. Megan RAMS into Dior again and again! The fans rally, the ref counts, and Megan stops at 4. Megan CHOPS Dior, then clinches for an OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY! The fans fire up for Megan and she “kicks rocks.” Megan runs in at Dior, SPLASH!

Megan whips corner to corner, runs in again, but Dior dodges! Tag to Chanel, but Marina tags in! BELL CLAP for Chanel, then FATE’S DESCENT into MOTHER’S MILK!! Chanel TAPS, Mega Problems win!

Hechi says tonight will be so very easy! Hechi heads out, and Lance Archer THROWS a guy at the ceiling! #EverybodyDies, but will the Wizard of Lucha be able to cast his spell in Arlington? Or will the Commander of the Skies soon set sail for another golden opportunity?

AEW TNT Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Komander VS Hechicero!

The bell rings and the fans duel already. Komander and Hechi circle, feel things out, and Hechi dazzles with his “magic.” Komander rolls to evade, but Hechi still RUNS him over! La Magistrol, TWO! Komander has a cover, TWO! Hechi has the arms, turns Komander for a ghost pin, TWO! Komander has it, Hechi has it back, and they go around, barely down for a count! Hechi sunsets, ONE! Komander sits on the cover, TWO! Both men stand and the fans cheer the standoff! The fans cheer for “LUCHA! LUCHA!” as Komander and Hechi reset. They circle, feel things out, and change up levels before Hechi trips Komander.

Hechi rolls to have a leg, STRETCH- NO, Komander bridges through! Komander keeps the pressure off as he bridges, but Hechi grabs an arm! INVERTED NUMERO DOS! But Komander activates the core to sit up on top of Hechi! Hechi makes it a torture rack, swings, but Komander uses that to RANA Hechi out! The fans fire up while Hechi throws a fit. Hechi storms back into the ring, he and Komander feel things out, but Hechi trips Komander again. Things speed up, Komander reverses a whip, but Hechi YANKS Komander down with a flapjack! Then Hechi SMASHES the knee on the mat! Komander writhes, but Hechi stands him up.

Hechi puts Komander in a corner and CHOPS! The fans want “OTRA! OTRA!” but Hechi whips corner ot corner. Komander BOOTS, CHOPS, knuckle locks and goes up, up, jumps around and FLYING RANAS! Hechi tumbles, the fans fire up, and Komander runs up again. SLINGSHOT- NO, Hechi stops the arm-drag to step over, omoplata, and then he bends Komander’s other arm! Komander rolls over but Hechi wrenches to wristlock. Hechi CLUBS the arm, Komander fires body shots and kicks! Komander goes up and ARABIAN PRESS ARM-DRAGS! The fans fire up while Hechi bails out! Komander builds speed but stops to then PLANCHA!

Hechi catches Komander! BARRIER BOMB!! The fans go nuts and the ref checks Komander while Collision goes picture in picture.

Hechi drags Komander up, brings him around, and shoves him into a corner. Hechi runs up to BOOT Komander against railing! Hechi stays fired up and he brings Komander around to put back in the ring. Hechi eggs Komander on, then stomps him down. Hechi drags Komander up, wrenches and hammerlocks to then COBRA TWIST! PUMP HANDLE PLEX! Hechi then goes right back to an armlock. Komander endures, but Hechi traps the arm to then SNAP the other! Komander writhes but Hechi dazzles with more magic. Hechi soaks up heat, drags Komander around, and he claws at the mask! The ref reprimands, Hechi lets go at 4, and Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Hechi has Komander down with a chinlock. Hechi then drags Komander up, CHOPS him in the corner, then backs up to run in. But Komander blocks a shot to fire shots! Hechi brings the straps down and eggs Komander on! Komander winds up but Hechi blocks a chop! Hechi ducks one kick, avoids the other, and the fans fire up again. Komander ducks a shot, Hechi ducks another kick, but not the SOBAT! Komander facelocks, Hechi powers up, but Komander swings to DDT after all! The fans fire up again while both men rise. Komander goes to a corner, then runs up to jump right up! And then from there, he rebounds off ropes to arm-drag again!

The fans fire up as Komander then ENZI- NO, Hechi ducks it! Hechi runs, but into a handspring BACK ELBOW! The fans fire up again and Komander aims. Hechi blocks a kick, ducks a lariat, then UPPERCUTS! Leg scissor into the ropes, then he drop toeholds on rebound! Hechi has the legs tied up, and rolls forward into the BOW ‘N’ ARROW! Komander endures, reaches out, but Hechi thrashes him around! Hechi shifts to have an ARMBAR added on! Komander endures, the fans rally, and Komander finds the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer while Hechi lets go in frustration. Hechi brings Komander up to fire off hands in the corner!

Hechi dazzles again, then runs in, but Komander dodges! Hechi POSTS himself, then Komander DROPKICKS Hechi to the floor! The fans fire up as Komander gets space! Komander goes up the corner, tightrope walks all 20 feet, SPACEWALK MOONSAULT! Down goes Hechi and the fans fire up again! Komander shakes his arm out, puts Hechi in, and GAMANGIRIS! Komander then goes back up the corner, tightrope walks again, but Hechi bails out! So Komander adjusts course, ARIHARA MOONSAULT! The fans fire up again as Komander hurries to put Hechi in the ring. Komander runs, rolls, goes up, CODE RED! Cover, TWO!!

Hechi survives, but Komander gets moving! Tilt-o-whirl and- NO, Hechi stops the DDT to hammerlock and swing, BACKBRAEKER! Hechi huffs ‘n’ puffs while the fans rally back up. Hechi drags Komander up, whips him, but Komander ducks a lariat to DROPKICK the legs out! Hechi falls, Komander rolls him to his knees, and SUPERKICK! “This is Awesome!” as Komander runs, but he has to BOOT a lariat away! POISON-RANA! Hechi sputters, Komander pushes him into the drop zone, and Komander climbs a corner! Hechi distracts the ref, and OH NO! CLON SHOVES KOMANDER OFF THE TOP! The fans boo but the ref misses it all!

Hechi hits a STEP-UP KNEE in the corner! Then he STEP-UP KNEES again! And then FLAPJACK! Hechi hooks Komander up in a rolling cradle, Hechi wins!

CLØN made sure Komander would lose, and now Hechicero will get his shot at the Sussex County Chicken! Will Mark Briscoe make it through that Collision with the Alchemist? Or will the Don Callis Family once again be the Face of TNT?

The former Acclaimed are “on assignment.”

It was back in Cardiff on December 13 that Max Caster and Anthony Bowens had to write three nice things about each other. They did their best, even though the 5 Tool Player admits he just BS’d it. He said Caster is a Truther, because he also speaks his truth. Caster said Bowens is opportunistic, in a good way. Bowens put Caster as “gay,”  not because Max is gay, he’s just a really good ally to the LGBT community and hearing “gay” makes Bowens think of Caster. Caster does his chant, Bowens tries to make it about pride, and that’s about how well it went.

It was then in New York City on December 21st that they were forced to walk around the city on a team building scavenger hunt. Caster says if they’re like any of the New York teams, they’re the Jets. Because they suck. It really only annoyed them, but at least some of the fans still like them. Oh, hey, a guy in a gorilla costume. That’s Bowens’ type, right? They also eat hot dogs. They tasted gross and gave Caster a stomach ache. But then oddly, they were getting along. They kept insisting it wasn’t happening, they’re not a team anymore, but only time will tell.

Collision returns as Schiavone welcomes out the one and only, Eddie Kingston! Arlington cheers The Mad King as he makes his way to the ring, but Eddie signals there’s someone else with him! It’s ORTIZ! Ortiz returned last week at World’s End because Grizzled Young Veterans were mugging Eddie and he wasn’t gonna have it. Schiavone says just as we thought Eddie was all alone, Ortiz returns! Eddie says hold the mic up, Tony, c’mon. They’re on live TV, so please. First off, whose birthday is it? They see the sign. Thanks for coming out tonight, sweetheart! Appreciated! The fans chant “Happy Birthday!” and now it really is the best birthday for that fan!

In fact, there’s another fan with a birthday, so even better for a eight-year-old kid. Eddie says enjoy it now, everything goes downhill from here. But right, sorry, they ushering this along in the back there? Eddie will do what he wants, okay? But ladies and gentlemen, Ortiz is Eddie’s right hand. Eddie must’ve quit AEW eight times since signing, crashing out, getting annoyed, because he didn’t have his man by his side to keep him cool. So thank God that Ortiz is back, now Eddie can last a little longer. The fans cheer that. Now, no more putting Ortiz over, his ego gets too big. But hey, Monkey, what you got to say?

Ortiz says he will keep his part short ‘n’ sweet. Eddie Kingston was born with the gift of gab, Ortiz was born with the gift of putting his foot up people’s asses! GYV!? They comin’ for you! Eddie isn’t sure how to end this, but Schiavone, please, hold the mic up, he swears to God. Flair must’ve hated you, Ole Anderson must’ve been screaming at him. But yeah, short ‘n’ sweet from Eddie, Grizzled Young Veterans, they will come get you so get ready, boys! Backstage interview with “Big Bill” Morrissey & Bryan Keith.

Lexy Nair is with The Redwood and Bounty Hunter to say that in just moments, they take on Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey. Bill apologizes for interrupting, but he has to ask her something: Did he just hear that Eddie has finally found someone he can trust? Classic Kingston, what a dope. Keith adds, “Dumbass.” But as to the question, JetSpeed has made a lot of enemies around here. And while Bill was back home for the holidays, he was talking with a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy, and they said that there’s a bounty out on JetSpeed! And Bill said great, cuz he knows a guy. Keith says ain’t nobody better than the Bounty Hunter!

And with Big Bill by his side, when that money comes calling, it is time to pay up! Keith & Bill head to gorilla, will they collect on the first Collision of 2026? Or will Knight & Bailey be #2Fly2StopNow?

The teams sort out and Bailey starts against Keith. The fans rally up, Keith rushes Bailey, but Bailey trips Keith. Things speed up, Bailey handsprings, then hurdles, but Keith leaps over. Bailey kips up to KICK Keith down! The fans cheer and Bailey brings Keith up. But Keith ROCKS Bailey! Keith whips, Bailey reverses, but Keith rolls over the dropdown, and he BOOTS Bailey down! Keith talks trash on Knight, then he drags Bailey up. But Bailey ROCKS Keith! Keith ROCKS Bailey! The forearms go back and forth and the fans fire up! Bill reaches out to grab Bailey by the hair! The fans boo but Bill THROWS Bailey down!

Keith sucker punches Knight, then Bill steps in. Bill CHOPS Bailey, then pulls the hair. Bill stands Bailey up, he and Keith double whip, then Keith LARIATS! Keith then runs, but Bailey goes up and over, ducks under, and Knight DOUBLE MISSILE DROPKICKS! The fans fire up as JetSpeed then DOUBLE BOOT Keith out! They DOUBLE BOOT Bill, but Bill doesn’t budge! Bill runs up, but JetSpeed DUMPS him out! Then JetSpeed DOUBLE PLANCHA! Down go Bill & Keith and the fans fire up again! JetSpeed puts Keith in, Bailey tags Knight, and they double whip. They DOUBLE HIP TOSS, then KNEE DROP!

Knight runs to UFO SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Keith survives, but Knight scoops to SLAM Keith! The fans cheer as Knight goes up top, but Bill SHOVES Knight down! The fans boo, but Keith BLASTS Knight! Bailey runs in, but he’s sent into the BIG BOSS MAN SLAM from Big Bill! Keith then RAMS Knight into railing! The fans boo but Bill drags Bailey out so he and Keith can mug Bill! They CLAW Bailey’s eyes, then laugh and shove Bailey down, before Collision goes picture in picture.

Bill takes his time going to his corner while Keith puts Knight in. KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO! Keith argues the count but the ref says it was fair. Keith taunts Knight, brings him up, and CHOPS him to a corner. Keith brings Knight around to bump off buckles, then he tags Bill. Bill puts some stank on the CHOP to Knight’s back! Keith RISING HEADBUTTS! Keith snarls, climbs up, and clinches for a SUPER EXPLODER! Keith runs, but Bailey avoids the knee! Bailey BOOTS, but both men fire forearms! Then they both ROUNDHOUSE! Keith leans back to avoid the thrust kick! SMACK, KNEE, and cover! TWO!! Bailey survives and the fans fire up! Bill THROWS Knight down, then stalks him up the ramp. Keith vows to end this, and he reels Bailey in.

The Standard of Excellence doesn’t care if it’s The Closer, Scorpio Sky, or Angel Dorado in his place, he’s just gonna come out here and hurt people! But will he be at his best going into Tulsa, Oklahoma and the Title Eliminator with Jon Moxley? Or can Dante prove he can go the distance with one of the best in the world?

The bell rings and while fans chant for MVP, he gets them to cheer for Shelton. Shelton and Dante step up, and Shelton offers a handshake. Dante takes it, the fans applaud the sportsmanship, and the two circle. They tie up, Shelton SHOVES Dante down, but Dante goes to a corner. Shelton and Dante reset, circle, and tie up. Shelton gets under Dante to THROW him! Dante bails out fast and Daniels coaches him to stay calm. Shelton smirks as he waits, and Dante steps back inside. They go again, and Dante slips around to waistlock then headlock. Shelton powers up and out, but Dante ducks ‘n’ dodges to LARIAT! Shelton stays put!

Dante gets moving, he goes up and over Shelton, then RANAS! Shelton tumbles, Dante DROPKICKS him outta the ring! The fans fire up, Dante builds speed, but Shelton CLOBBERS him! The fans fire up as Shelton stalks Dante. Shelton ROCKS Dante, then KNEES him low. Dante fires forearms, then slips out, around, up and over, then GAMANGIRIS! Dante springboards, but Shelton SHOVES him down! Dante hits railing and Daniels hurries to check his guy. MVP says that’s what Dante gets for trying to look cool. Doc Sampson is called over, he checks on Dante’s ribs, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Shelton is chomping at the bit, but he might’ve already done enough damage. Dante grimaces as he sits up, MVP isn’t all that compassionate, but Daniels and the ref have him back up. Doc keeps checking Dante, but then Shelton storms back up. Daniels has him stay back, MVP gets a mic to talk trash on Dante’s high-flying, risk-taking style, perhaps telling him to just quit now, but that just upsets Dante. Dante grabs the mic to tell Shelton that he’s not giving up for nothing, so come get him! The ref wants to make sure that’s what Dante wants, but Shelton stomps away on him! Shelton throws Dante into the ring, then storms up to attack again, but Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Shelton has Dante in a corner. Shelton talks trash on Dante for wanting to continue, but Dante fires forearms! Daniels and the fans rally as Dante fires more shots! Dante ROCKS Shelton, runs, but Shelton catches his crossbody! Shelton hits a BACKBREAKER! Shelton looms over Dante, eggs him on, then drags him back up. Shelton fires hands, ROCKS Dante in the corner, then whips corner to corner. Shelton runs up, Dante BOOTS him away, and Dante fires forearms! The fans fire up but Shelton shoves Dante back. Dante dodges again, JUMP KNEES, and TORNADO DDTS! Shelton is down and Dante hurries to the apron!

Dante climbs, aims, and MAMBA SPLASH!! Cover, TWO!! Shelton survives but even he’s a bit surprised! MVP tells Shelton to end it already. Dante is back on the apron, he ROCKS Shelton, and then he springboards to NOSEDIVE! Cover, TWO! Shelton gut wrenches through and Canadian Racks! But Dante slips around to a SLEEPER! Shelton flails, Daniels coaches Dante to hold on tight, but Shelton pops Dante around to an Electric Chair! Then a spin to POWERBOMB! Shelton catches his breath while Dante crawls, but Shelton GERMAN SUPLEXES! Shelton stalks Dante again, for another GERMAN SUPLEX!

Dante sputters in a daze, but the fans want that “ONE MORE TIME!” Shelton drags Dante up again, and GERMAN SUPLEXES! Dante tumbles to a corner, Shelton hits the STEP-UP KNEE! Dante staggers, Shelton SUPERKICKS him down! Cover, Shelton wins!

Shelton proved he can indeed hurt people! MVP grabs the mic again to say, “First thing’s first. May we please have a round of applause for this young lion, Dante Martin?” The fans cheer, and MVP says when Scorpio found out he was facing Shelton, Scorpio called in sick. Give it up for Dante for stepping up. The fans do cheer, and Shelton helps Dante stand. They shake hands again, and MVP says now to business. A round of applause for the Standard of Excellence! The fans cheer Shelton, and MVP continues by saying let’s be real. Shelton doesn’t need MVP to talk him up, we already know he is one of the most gifted and athletic individuals to step into a wrestling ring.

MVP says that brings us to Wednesday on Dynamite. Ladies and gentlemen, Jon Moxley. MVP will give credit where it is due: Moxley rose above a field of extremely talented and hungry competitors to reach the top and capture the Continental Championship. Moxley won the Continental Classic, he holds that title. But now let’s talk about what Moxley is and is not. Moxley is a cult-like figure to the “D Riders.” They follow Moxley and hang on his every word. They are driven by this idealistic ethos that causes them to make war in order to make change, a revolution. Hurt Syndicate doesn’t care about that, they just wanna make money!

And MVP wants Moxley to know that MVP knows Moxley likes pain, to bleed all over, like a rabid dog. But Moxley is not the apex predator here, Shelton Benjamin is! So on Dynamite, Moxley will get punched, get kicked, get knee’d in the jaw and tossed around like a sack of dirty laundry, and there is absolutely nothing he can do about it! Moxley is a dangerous man, but Shelton is much more dangerous! And here’s why: Because Moxley is driven by an ideology, his emotions, and his desire to show everyone that he is the man around here. Moxley leads by example, but Moxley is NOT Shelton Benjamin! It is a new year, but there’s no new us!

On Dynamite, Moxley faces Benjamin, and he will get hurt! Y’know why? Tell ’em why! The fans sing, “We Hurt People!” MVP says they are the Hurt Syndicate, this is Shelton Benjamin, and on Wednesday, Moxley will lose to him, because they hurt people! MVP has spoken, but will Shelton back it all up with action? Or will Moxley find the way to eliminate the threat?

Backstage interview with Bandido and Sammy Guevara.

Lexy Nair is with the ROH World Champion and one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, and she says Sammy asked for this time, so- Sammy says damn right he did! Sammy has had to watch as this place does all the right things with all the wrong people, because the right choice has always been Sammy! Now he’s supposed to watch on the sidelines as Bandido gets a shot at Sammy’s destiny!? Bandido thinks he can get that AEW World Championship match with MJF after what he did to Sammy’s hermano, Rush, as well as Beast Mortos?! No! Sammy challenges Bandido for Dynamite!

Sammy said on the very first episode of Dynamite that his destiny was to one day be AEW World Champion, so now Sammy challenges Bandido! And Sammy vows he will do something so heinous to Bandido that Bandido will be out and Sammy will be in for Maximum Carnage! What does Bandido say to that? Bandido asks, “Why’re you so angry? All you had to do was ask. And guess what? You’ve got it, amigo.” Bandido heads out, but Sammy says he is NOT Bandido’s amigo. And Lexy can leave, too! Everyone’s Favorite Pillar is going to face The Most Wanted, but will he just be a tune-up for Bandido’s battle with the Scumbag?

Stokely Hathaway is injured!

And while Tony Schiavone doesn’t really want to, he will read the written statement from #BigStoke all about it. Stokely first asks for complete silence as this message is read. Stokely then thanks us for the “thoughts and prayers,” and tells those that mocked him that they are now dead to him. Stokely has been receiving the best care at the Vivian Banks Medical Center, and has been so courageous. They’ve nicknamed him “Lil’ Lashley,” even though he’s stronger than Bobby. Schiavone rolls his eyes as he continues. Stokely’s bills have surpassed $400 THOUSAND! Please find it in your hearts to donate to him, and see Schiavone for more details.

Schiavone has no idea what Stokely is getting at, but then Stokely says all Schiavone does after a show is drink anyway, so might as well put him to good use. God bless you all, from Stokely. The fans already have “The Stokely Foundation” fliers, probably made by Stokely himself, but will anyone care?

Darby Allin VS Wheeler Yuta w/ Marina Shafir!

The Relentless One has faced everyone he can face in The Death Riders, and he’s gotten a win off each of them, except for The Bastard, Pac! The Decoder thinks he’s some kind of gatekeeper, so will he block Darby off from finishing his mission? Or will Darby’s 2026 resolution stay on track?

Moxley joins commentary for this one, he likes the spot up on stage. The bell rings and the fans already tell Yuta off. Darby storms up on Yuta but Yuta uses the ropes as a defense. Darby backs off, Yuta steps back in, and they tie up. Yuta wrenches, wristlocks, but the fans rally for Darby. Darby rolls, wrenches through, and he knuckle locks to then roll, wrench, and trip Yuta up. Yuta kips up, but Darby drops on him for a headlock! Yuta fights up, powers up and out, but Darby RUNS him over! Things keep moving, Yuta drops down then hurdles over, but Darby bypasses him to then springboard and arm-drag!

The fans fire up for Darby while Yuta tumbles out. Darby builds speed but Marina stands in the way! The fans boo as she’s just constantly a problem. Darby jumps out, tells Marina to step aside, but Yuta DECKS Darby! The fans boo again but Yuta SHOVES Darby into railing! Darby goes down in a heap, Yuta soaks up heat, and Yuta puts Darby in the ring. ELBOW DROP! Yuta taunts Darby, taunts Arlington, then drags Darby up. Yuta suplexes, but Darby fires knees! Darby is free, he slips around, O’Conner Roll, ONE! Darby springboards to SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Darby and Yuta go to corners, and Yuta runs up! Darby BOOTS him away!

Darby jumps over Yuta to SHOTGUN him into buckles! The fans fire up while Yuta flounders. Darby goes up, but Marina distracts him! The fans boo, but Yuta trips Darby up! Yuta goes out the side, drapes Darby out, APRON NECKBREAKER! The fans boo while Darby writhes, and Yuta talks more trash. Yuta puts Darby in, rains down fists, but the ref reprimands. Yuta mocks the fans cheering Darby on, and he CHOPS Darby against ropes. Yuta whips, then BACKDROPS Darby so hard he flips 450 and FLOPS on the mat! Yuta then deadlift GERMAN SUPLEXES! Bridging cover, TWO! Darby escapes and the fans rally again.

Yuta soaks up heat, then builds speed to WRECK Darby with a dropkick! Darby falls to the floor, Yuta goes to the apron, and Yuta AX HANDLES Darby down! Yuta then drags Darby up to CHOP him down! Darby falls on the ramp, Yuta soaks up heat, then Yuta puts Darby in the ring. Yuta storms up on Darby, KNEES him in the back, then bends Darby’s fingers! Yuta twists Darby’s wrist, bends the fingers more, then puts the hand down to LEG DROP! Yuta soaks up more heat, then paces around. Yuta drags Darby up to swing, but Darby counter punches! And counter punches, and counter punches again!

Yuta shoves Darby to DROPKICK him down! Yuta soaks up more heat before he drags Darby up. Yuta brings Darby around, hooks him up in a Gory Especial, then he bends the arms! Darby endures, but Yuta flips him for a FACEBUSTER! Yuta KNEES Darby’s bad arm again and again, then bends those fingers! Yuta even BITES Darby’s hand! The ref reprimands, Yuta stops, and Collision returns to single picture. Darby fires body shots but Yuta eggs him on. Darby SLAPS Yuta, Yuta KNEES low! Yuta runs, but Darby ROCKS him! Darby whips, Yuta reverses, but Darby COFFIN SPLASHES! The fans fire up and Darby rises again!

Darby SLAPS and CHOPS and HEADBUTTS Yuta! Yuta rewinds to slip around, but Darby switches! Yuta switches, Darby slips free, and Darby fires off more shots! LOW HEADBUTT, then a CODE RED! Cover, TWO! Yuta survives but Darby shakes out his bad hand. Yuta bails out, Darby builds speed, but Marina TRIPS him! The ref saw that! But Yuta CLOBBERS Darby all the same! Yuta TOSSES Darby, the fans boo, but the ref says enough is enough! The ref EJECTS Marina! The fans fire up but Marina throws a fit! Marina refuses to leave, but TONI STORM rushes out here! Toni JUMPS on Marina with a SLEEPER!

Marina throws Toni off, she fires hands, and they scrap as they go to the back! But Daniel Garcia jumps the railing! He LARIATS Darby inside-out! The fans boo but Garcia puts Darby in the ring. Yuta wrenches Darby to the ANGLE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Darby survives and the fans fire up, but Yuta climbs the corner. Yuta aims, DIVING BODY FLOP as Darby moves! The fans fire up as Yuta flounders back out. Darby builds speed to DIVE onto Garcia! Then he hurries up the corner, jumps back in, but Yuta goes to the apron. Darby joins him out there, only to get a BUSAIKU KNEE!! Darby falls to the floor and the fans lose their minds!

Moxley appreciates the precision, and Yuta puts Darby in the ring. Cover, TWO!! Darby survives, but Yuta rains down HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! The fans boo, Moxley says call it, but Darby is still in this. Yuta gets the legs, steps through, and he steps over for the SCORPION DEAETHLOCK!! The fans boo as Yuta rips off Sting, but Darby endures! Darby crawls, reaches out, and he rolls to hook legs! Darby kicks at Yuta, Yuta just CATAPULTS Darby! Darby lands safe on the ropes to then DOUBLE STOMP! Then Darby goes back up, COFFIN DROP! But Darby won’t stop there, another COFFION DROP!! Cover, but Darby drags Yuta up!?

Darby hooks Yuta up, SCORPION DEATHLOCK!! And it’s on DEEP!! Yuta TAPS, Darby wins!!

Moxley is disappointed in Yuta, but says they’ll give Darby that one. Darby gets another win off Yuta, but when and where will he get that rematch with Pac?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision to not just start the New Year but to return to Esports Stadium for the next few weeks. Though, feels like there was some unneeded redundancy and still more talk than there needed to be. Cold open promos still aren’t my thing, but I did appreciate they used it to explain Scorpio being out and Dante being in. Great match from Shelton VS Dante for it, though I think AEW production had no sense of how they were going to do the rib injury sell, so we completely missed the exchange between MVP and Dante. Very good promo from Moxley, too, and we’re going to get a great match from Moxley VS Shelton. I honestly would love if they went the 20 minute time limit to give Shelton his title match without Moxley losing.

Very good promo from Toni & Mina and then a very good match from them with Hyan & Maya. But clearly, it was just to serve as a vehicle towards Mega Problems having their own match, and then bringing us back towards Time Bombs VS Mega Problems as AEW works on building challengers to the Babes of Wrath. Great stuff with Don Callis Family and various rivalries they’re building. CLØN of course got his first win, finally, but they really should’ve just had him wrestle before this point when they knew Hologram’s injury was gonna keep him out so long. Komander saving Spanish Announce Project but then getting screwed later in the night is the redundancy, we could’ve stretched this out a bit. But Hechicero of course earns his shot at Briscoe, which he will of course also lose.

There is also a very subtle connection to the Don Callis Family through the story of that “bounty” tag match, as JetSpeed are the other half of the team that won at World’s End. Very good match from JetSpeed VS Bill & Keith, and a very good win for JetSpeed, they really should move up to the tag titles now. Hilarious promo from Stokely via email to Schiavone, and the “Stokely Foundation” is a fun gimmick for Stokely while he’s away. Very good promo from Eddie & Ortiz, and good response from GYV, they’ll have a really good tag match at some point.

Good promo from Sammy and Bandido to set up a non-title match for this Wednesday, that’ll be a very good match and a very good win for Bandido. That win will then solidify go-home math, because clearly MJF is going to beat Bandido, even if he has to cheat or get disqualified. And great main event from Darby VS Yuta, even with the typical Death Rider overbooking. The Death Riders find themselves in an interesting spot, with Moxley cheered and the rest booed, but perhaps that all sorts itself out on the road to Revolution. Darby VS Pac will be a great match, too, and perhaps it pushes on the cracks in the Death Riders’ foundation, but we’ll have to wait and see.
