It was more like a 3v2 Handicap, but The Conglomeration held together to win out! Roddy gets the mic to shout, “ORAAANGE~! And everybody here, and everybody at home, I feel like I owe you an explanation. Well, here it is. You know I only went around with The Conglomeration because of my buddy, Kyle. But then when he left, I didn’t know what the hell I was doing with them. And I said a change needed to happen. I took the time, and I realized, the change that needed to happen was with me. So I just want to say it here in Fresno, I am OFFICIALLY a member of The Conglomeration!” The fans love it, but then someone is on the tron! It’s The Dogs!

Clark Connors & David Finlay get Roddy’s attention, and 100 Proof says last week at Revolution, The Conglomeration used every dirty trick in the book just to hold him down for three seconds. The Rebel asks if they really think this is over after just three seconds. The ladies might be used to hearing that from them, but not The Dogs! The more they try to separate them, the more they try to pick them off, the more The Dogs hunt together. That’s the thing about being savages: The closer they are to death, the more they feel alive! From Revolution to Collision, they survive their first week as champions! But will the Don Callis Family try again with yet another trio? Or will nothing stop Mistico, Knight & Bailey as they reign together?

My Thoughts:

A great second half for Slam Dunk Weekend, even with another round of predictable results. Divine Dominion were of course winning their match, but I do appreciate we’re setting up another match with Babes of Wrath. But given how many times Megan has faced Willow & Harley since this all began, this has to be the blowoff. And I would think that Megan & Lena retain, there are other teams building themselves up to go after them. Cassidy & Roddy of course beat Lethal Twist, those guys are only strong in ROH. Roddy had a great promo to officially say he’s Conglomeration, and then we got a good promo from The Dogs to set up that grudge tag match.

Ciampa VS Lio was a good match, but I feel like the new gimmick (or returning, actually?) is way too sudden. RIP CRU, we hardly knew ye. Of course Ciampa won, he’s building up as a new Heel, and I expect him to go after the AEW National Championship now that Jack Perry (aka a Face wrestler) is holding it. And great main event from Mistico & JetSpeed VS “AlexTakelon” (Nigel McGuinness came up with that, not even sure that’s the right spelling). Naturally, Mistico & JetSpeed won, they weren’t going to be transitional champions, and certainly not losing on “Slam Dunk Sunday.” And as I said for Dynamite, Konosuke and Okada can use the fact they both lost to Mistico as a point of contention with each other, setting up that International Championship feud.

My Score: 8.9/10
