Between the receipts still owed for them busting into TNA and them walking into his house, the Boricua Badass TNA World Champion was not gonna pass this chance to dance in Madison Square Garden! But will Santana help Lucien Price & Bronco Nima bury Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars & Osiris Griffin? Or will even Santana see that when DarkState strikes, ain’t nobody safe?

The trios sort out, and the fans cheer on Santana while Nima steps to “Sugar Man.” But then Shugars sucker punches Santana, dodges Nima, and he tags out to #BigO. Osiris and Nima DOUBLE LARIAT, DOUBLE LARIAT< and then they throw forearms back and forth! Nima fires hands but Osiris knees low and ELBOWS Nima at the ropes. Tag to Dion, and DarkState mugs Nima. Dion facelocks but the fans boo. Nima powers up and he RAMS Dion into the corner! The fans fire up, Price tags in, and OTM mugs Dion in return! The fans rally as Price tags Nima in. They mug Dion more, then Nima whips Dion into the corner!

Nima SPLASHES Dion, then he tags in Santana! The fans fire up for their guy, and he runs up to UPPERCUT! Santana then hits a BIG back suplex! The fans fire up with Santana, he gets Dion up and bumps him off buckles. Tag to Price, Santana feeds Dion to the scoop. Dion slips free, Shugars tags back in, but Price hits the judo throw and the CHOP! Shugars BOOTS back, whips, but Price blocks! The fans cheer on OTM as Price whips Shugars. Shugars tags Osiris before he hurdles, but Price gorilla presses Shugars! Osiris RAMS Price, Shugars DROPKICKS, and the fans boo as DarkState soaks up the heat.

Osiris tags Dion, Dion sends Osiris in, but Price dodges! Osiris POSTS himself, Price BOOTS Dion, tag to Nima! JUMP STOMP! The fans fire up, but here comes Shugars! Shugars calms Dion down while Osiris stands on Nima and talks trash, but NXT goes picture in picture.

Osiris drags Nima up with a waistlock, puts him on ropes, and fires off big shots! Then a short arm LARIAT! Osiris snarls as he drags Nima back up, and he tags Shugars. DarkState mugs Nima, double snapmares, then Osiris drops the leg, brother! Shugars adds a leg drop of his own, then covers, TWO! Shugars CHOKES Nima on the ropes, stops as the ref counts 4, but argues with the ref to distract him. Dion BOOTS Nima down! Shugars then tags Dion and Doin drops a KNEE! Then an AX HANDLE! Dion stalks Nima to ropes, CHOKES him again, then stops as the ref counts 4. Dion kicks Nima around but Nima fires back!

Nima throws hands but Dion TACKLES him down! Dion throws down forearms but Nima shoves him away. Dion hurries to facelock and grind Nima down. Santana gets running, he slips around Dion, and shoves him to a corner. Dion goes up and over, but Santana rolls through to CUTTER! Santana aims at Dion, FROG SPLASH!! Cover, TWO!! The fans boo as Dion survives, but Santana just aims again. Santana runs corner to corner, but Osiris yanks Dion outta the way! Santana hits buckles, Osiris tags in, then Osiris tags Shugars. Santana BOOTS Osiris again, then pops Shugars up to the corner! Santana swings on Osiris, Osiris dodges, and Dion joins in! Exclusive sit-down interview with Myles Borne.

Vic Joseph is with the NXT North American Champion and notes it has been a minute since they’ve talked like this. Vic knows last year wasn’t the best year for Myles, he missed out on Stand & Deliver, there were a lot of ups and downs, but he sits here now as THE North American Champion. What has this 12 month journey been like for him? Myles says he always goes back to thank the NQCC. Myles wouldn’t be half the man he is now if not for them. But the truth is, there is another man he has to thank for the fact Myles is a champion now, and that is Ethan Page. Ethan showed Myles that in order to win, sometimes you have to do what others aren’t willing to do.

Ethan helped Myles find his edge, that edge made Myles a champion, and that edge will keep Myles a champion. Then this Saturday, Myles walks into Stand & Deliver the champion. What does that mean to Myles? Like Vic said, Myles wasn’t part of Stand & Deliver last year, and he took that personally. This year, he isn’t just part of it, he is walking in a champion. As hard as it was to become champion, it’ll be even harder to stay champion. Myles plans on living St. Louis the same way he walks in. Vic brings up that Myles is facing Johnny Gargano, someone NXT knows very well, as he’s been in some of NXT’s biggest matches ever.

Now, Johnny’s motives aside, is Myles expecting “Johnny Wrestling” at Stand & Deliver? Myles says Johnny is an NXT Triple Crown Champion, a THREE-TIME NXT North American Champion, and while a lot of people say Ethan is the greatest North American Champion ever, Myles says Johnny is right there with him. It doesn’t matter where Johnny’s head is at, because at the end of the day, Myles is facing a SmackDown superstar. Myles doesn’t know what side of Gargano shows up, but Myles does hope it will be Johnny Wrestling. Speaking of, Johnny steps in. Vic steps aside for Johnny to take a seat. Johnny says Myles should be careful what he asks for.

Before Stand & Deliver, there was Takeover. And they used to call him “Johnny Takeover.” And that guy is still somewhere in Johnny. So Myles should pray Johnny doesn’t find that guy before Saturday. Because if Johnny does, he will eat Myles alive! But this match isn’t personal. That title is very personal! Because of Johnny wins that, he goes back to SmackDown to get his life back and be the man he was always meant to be! If Johnny loses, not even he knows what happens. But what he does know is that in St. Louis, Johnny is going to take Myles into deeper waters than he’s ever been in before! Johnny will show Myles what it means to be a champion here on NXT!

Because for the first time in two months, Johnny is not going to just lay down and die. Johnny will stand and deliver as only he can, because he has to. More than anyone knows. Johnny is finally locked in, but will he be able to bring out the man we all know as Johnny Wrestling? Or will Myles prove that he was born for this?

NXT Tag Team Championships #1 Contenders Match: Birthright VS Los Americanos!

With Lexis King leading the way, Charlie Dempsey, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Uriah Connors are ready to make their fathers proud and finally reign in NXT. But will they be able to claim their birthright as contenders first? Or will Rayo y Bravo prove they have mas corazon (more heart)?

NXT returns as Birthright makes their entrance, Stacks & Uriah stepping up as the two for this match. Are the using the ol’ NQCC Catch Clause? Doesn’t matter as Bravo y Rayo DOUBLE PLANCHA during the entrance! The fans fire up while Lexis protests! Bravo puts Uriah int he ring, the bell rings, and Bravo fires JAB after JAB, then he SMACKS Uriah! Bravo headlocks, Uriah powers up but can’t power out as Bravo holds tight. Uriah powers up again and gets free the second time, but Bravo catches his hurdle to atomic drop! Bravo DROPKICKS Uriah to the corner, then runs in. Uriah pops Bravo up, but Rayo tags in before both men drop to the floor!

Uriah looks back is confused, but Los Americano trip him up and YANK him into the POST! Not good for the shillelagh! The fans cheer, Lexis protests, but Rayo struts around. Rayo drags Uriah up to CHOP, and CHOP, and then wrench. Uriah CHOPS back, then he hurries to tag Stacks. Rayo dodges Stacks, goes Spider-Man in the ropes, then dodges Stacks to roll him up, TWO! Rayo CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS! Rayo trips Stacks, then tags Bravo. CATAPULT into the forearm, and Stacks falls back! Bravo adds the SENTON! The fans fire up as Bravo does his dance, but Uriah barks at him. Stacks CLOBBERS Bravo!

The fans boo but Stacks goes out to SMACK Bravo off the apron. Stacks puts Bravo in, does his best salsa (which isn’t that good), but Arianna Grace joins in. The happy couple dances together, and Stacks gives her a spin, before Bravo WRECKS Stacks with a dropkick! The fans cheer as Bravo pulls the ol’ switcheroo, and Grace freaks out when she sees it’s NOT Stacks! Bravo mule kicks Stacks, puts him in the ring, but Stacks gets moving to CLOBBER Bravo! Stacks throws Bravo to the corner, throws hands on him, then talks trash. Stacks back suplexes, Bravo lands out, and he shoves Stacks! Tags to Uriah and Rayo!

Rayo goes up to FLYING SEATED SENTON! GAMANGIRI to Stacks, SHOTGUN on Uriah! METEORA to Stacks, then Rayo goes up, up, and QUEBRADA! Uriah dodges, springboards, PRIMA NOCTA! Cover, TWO! The stunner doesn’t win it and Uriah seethes as NXT goes picture in picture.

Uriah stalks Rayo to the corner, then CHOPS him! Uriah whips Rayo corner to corner hard, then storms up on him to CHOP again! Uriah then puts Rayo up top, climbs up after him, but Rayo fights the suplex! Then he powers Uriah down to SUPER SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB! Rayo hurries to cover, TWO! Uriah survives but Rayo drags him up and CHOPS! Uriah goes to Los Americanos’ corner, Bravo tags in, and he climbs up to rain down fists! Bravo gets tres before Uriah shoves him away. But then Bravo BACKDROPS Uriah! Uriah flounders, Stacks tags in, but Bravo BACKDROPS him, too! Bravo then winds up to CHOP Stacks to the corner!

Bravo climbs up, and he rains down fists! Bravo goes all the way to DIEZ! Tag to Rayo, he brings Stacks up to ROCK him with a forearm, but Stacks RAMS Rayo to the corner. Tag to Uriah, they sit Rayo down, and Uriah hits a BOOT WASH! Stacks adds a CANNONBALL! Cover, TWO! Rayo survives but Uriah anchors his leg. Tag to Stacks, and Stacks KNEE DROPS! Cover, TWO! Rayo fires shots from below! Stacks KNEE DROPS again, and again, then whips Rayo for a LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Stacks clamps onto Rayo and drags him over to tag Uriah. They hand Rayo off and Uriah fires more forearms. Rayo eggs Uriah on and they start trading shots!

NXT returns to single picture as the shots go back and forth, and Rayo fires a flurry! But Uriah blocks one, ELBOWS back, then reels Rayo in, only for Rayo to hit the X-PLEX! Both men are down but the fans fire up! Uriah and Rayo crawl, hot tags to Stacks and Bravo! Bravo goes up to CROSSBODY! Then he runs to LARIAT! Uriah runs in, Bravo dodges, to then pop-up and KICK! Bravo blocks Stacks’ kick to ENZIGIRI! Bravo then blows a kiss to Arianna before he torture racks Stacks, AIRPLANE SPIN! The fans cheer El Chico Grande Fuerte! Then he SLAMS Stacks down! Bravo is a bit dizzy, but he climbs up the corner all the same.

Arianna gets on the apron to distract, and that lets Lexis CLOBBER Bravo! The fans boo but Stacks hits the BLINDSIDE SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO?!? Bravo survives, and SHILOH HILL rushes out here! Shiloh is still pissed at Birthright screwing him over so he isn’t gonna let them do that to Los Americanos! Shiloh has a chair, he SMACKS Lexis’ cane down, then he chases Lexis and the rest of Birthright off! Stacks panics, but Bravo tags in! Rayo GAMANGIRIS Stacks, then hoists him up top! Rayo goes up, as does Bravo! SUPER STEINER for La Fuerza (The Power), and Bravo with the DIVING BODY PRESS for La Gloria! Cover, URIAH BREAKS IT!

The fans boo but even Rayo is shocked! They cheer NXT for making this match, but Uriah TOSSES Rayo out! “This is Awesome!” as Bravo DUMPS Uriah out! Stacks runs up, Bravo dodges, but Uriah tags in! Stacks slips around Bravo, feeds him to Uriah, but Bravo blocks a kick, only to get the GAMANGIRI in return! Stacks hits the ATOMIC SLAM! Then Stacks DIVES onto Rayo! Uriah adds the SWANTON BOMB! Cover, TWO?!? Bravo survives and shocks everyone! Uriah is furious but MSG is loving it! Uriah brings his kneepad down, but EL GRANDE AMERICANO esta aqui! And he’s shouting right at Uriah & Stacks!

The ref keeps El Grande back while the fans go nuts, and this lets Rayo y Bravo trade metal plates. The masks are loaded, and Rayo runs up to HEADBUTT Stacks! Uriah SUPERKICKS Rayo, but Bravo runs up, ducks ‘n’ dodges, and FLYING HEADBUTTS! Cover, AMERICANOS WIN!

They were able to lie, cheat, and steal this win from a bunch of cheaters, and now Los Americanos are ready to Stand & Deliver! But will they soon be campeones? Or will Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes be able to swipe left on this match?

Dion is furious! This can’t keep happening! They lose the tag titles, Dion lets THE NXT Championship slip through his fingers, Cutler James damn near loses an eye, and then they drop the ball against OTM & Santana! What is happening?! Aren’t they supposed to be at the top?! Dion knows they’ve come so close to everything they’ve ever wanted! They are the dangers in NXT, not the other way around! Osiris says damn right. Shugars says when DarkState strikes, ain’t nobody safe. Dion says yeah, and at Stand & Deliver, he makes sure of it. Dion storms off, but what could he mean by that?

The Standout keeps popping off and running her mouth, and Miss Parker is taking it upon herself to finally shut her up. Will no one doubt what Jaida is all about after tonight? Or will New York see that no one does it like Lani?

The bell rings and Jaida runs up! Lani dodges, pushes Jaida around, then SLAPS her! The fans boo that, but Jaida runs up again! Lani dodges once, but the BOOT finds her! Jaida THROWS Lani into a corner, then fires off fast hands! The ref counts, but Jaida SLAPS Lani back! Lani BOOTS Jaida back! Lani snarls and sends Jaida into the corner, then KICKS the leg out! Lani THROWS Jaida down, then KNEE DROPS! The fans rally for Jaida but Lani talks trash. Lani whips, Jaida reverses, and Jaida CLOBBERS Lani! Lani tumbles out, Jaida goes out after her, and Jaida THROWS Lani into the apron!

The fans fire up behind Jaida while Jaida puts Lani in. Lani holds onto the apron skirt, then traps Jaida with it so she can HAMMER away! The ref counts, Lani shouts and drags Jaida out, but the fans boo as Lani SHOVES her into steel steps! Jaida writhes and clutches her arm while NXT goes to break.

NXT returns as Jaida endures the COBRA CLUTCH! Lani leans on the hold but the fans continue to rally for “MISS PARKER~!” Jaida fights up, Lani as a backpack, and RAMS Lani into buckles! And RAMS her again! And BACKPACK SENTONS! Jaida is free to ground ‘n’ pound! The fans fire up but Lani kicks Jaida away. Jaida brings Lani around to lift and go to ropes. The fans rally as Lani throws hands, but Jaida SHOVES Lani down! Lani tumbles to the apron then the floor! Jaida clutches her arm but Lani clutches a leg. Lani crawls back over, peeks up over the apron, and Jaida stares her down.

Lani gets up, swings, but Jaida blocks! Jaida ROCKS and CHOPS Lani, then YANKS her into the ring! The fans fire up while Lani staggers, and Jaida RUNS her over! And RUNS her over again! Jaida blocks a shot, ELBOWS then LARIATS Lani down! The fans fire up with Jaida, she runs in at Lani, but blocks boots. Jaida puts Lani in the ropes, CHOPS, and CHOPS, then gets some space. The fans fire up for the TEARDROP! Jaida high steps it out, then runs up, but into a BOOT! Lani turns the table but Jaida just gets mad. Jaida BOOTS Lani right back! Cover, TWO! Jaida drags Lani up but Lani snatches the arm! Lani CLUBS away to bring Jaida down!

Jaida fights up but Lani steps over to then hook and LEG DROP! Lani clamps on the short arm scissors, but Jaida makes it a ghost pin! TWO, and Lani KICKS Jaida in the side! The fans rally for Jaida but Lani DOUBLE STOMPS her! Lani goes up the corner, takes aim, FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH!! Cover, TWO!! Jaida survives and the fans fire up! Clock it! Jaida popped Lani up to throw her back down, and now she’s back on top! But will Jaida get herself back to the NXT Women’s Championship in the days after Stand & Deliver?

Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes & Jackson Drake claim it won’t be the same for Los Americanos at Stand & Deliver, then they spot Blake Monroe. The Glamour is looking at herself in the reflection of Tatum Paxley’s NXT Women’s North American Championship. Smokes says she looks good with gold, and they can even match. Brad says New York is a dangerous place, and with Tatum being all stalker towards Blake, safe to say that she’s not safe anywhere. So just let them know if she wants one of them to walk her to the locker room. Drake agrees, especially since Tatum will want her- er, Blake’s title. Blake says she’ll be fine, boys. For The Glamour, obsession is just another accessory.

Plus, Tatum caught her by surprise. Tonight, Blake’s ready for her close up. Blake struts away, and Vanity Project all agrees she is just the best. But will Blake be able to escape from New York still holding onto the title that isn’t hers?

Robert Stone stands in the ring.

He stands between two tables, because it is time for the NXT Championship contract signing! Tony D’Angelo makes his entrance during picture in picture, followed by Ricky Saints, then Ethan Page. This leaves THE NXT Champion, Joe Hendry, for last but certainly not least. NXT returns to single picture as the fans finish waving their hands from side to side. Hendry does the TURN, and the fans cheer while Saints scowls and Ethan mockingly applauds. MSG chants “We Believe!” and Stone says Stand & Deliver is this Saturday. Four of NXT’s biggest superstars will be in a Fatal 4 Way for THE NXT Championship!

The fans cheer as Stone says it will be Tony D VS Ricky Saints VS Ethan Page VS Joe Hendry! Four amazing athletes, and Stone cannot think of a bigger main event on NXT’s biggest show of the year. So gentlemen, let’s lock this in, shall we? Stone holds out the contract, but both Saints and Ethan reach for it. Ethan tells Saints he can go ahead, but Saints says Ethan can go ahead. They each insist, trying to be the bigger man in their own passive aggressive way, but then Hendry snatches the contract from them. The fans cheer as Hendry signs his part as champion, then passes the contract along.

Hendry does get the mic to say that he cannot wait to see which one of Ricky or Ethan stabs the other in the back first. They both can’t stand the idea of anyone else being NXT Champion, but here’s the thing, this little friendship they have is going to fall apart. That is because they made a mistake. They cannot distinguish between passion and desperation. They are just desperate to be NXT Champion again. But Hendry is PASSIONATE about being champion! The fans cheer that! Hendry is PASSIONATE about NXT! And he is PASSIONATE about being right here in New York City tonight! The fans definitely cheer that!

Hendry says he’ll take this passion and use it to defend his championship. Because despite all the lies, the deception, and the jealousy going on, Hendry will be the one to stand, to deliver, and to wave his hands from side to side with the entire world chanting, “WE BELIEVE!” The fans cheer again, and Saints says shut up! What is he, Dr. Phil? Stick to singing songs instead of psychoanalyzing the friendship between Saints and Ethan! He’ll tell Hendry something, since Hendry doesn’t have friends so he wouldn’t understand, Yes, Saints and Ethan want the same thing, but that doesn’t mean they can’t support each other!

More importantly, Hendry shouldn’t even be champion right now honestly! That title should’ve been given back to Saints, then they wouldn’t have needed to climb that ladder and Hendry stealing from Saints. So here’s the deal. On Saturday, Saints makes everything right in this world for once when he becomes a TWO-TIME NXT Champiooon~! Saints signs his part, then passes the contract to Ethan. The fans boo but Ethan says everything will be right in the world on Saturday, because he’s been wasting his time being the greatest North American. That is Ethan selling himself short. Ricky reminded Ethan of his true value.

The truth is, there ain’t anyone better than Ethan in the entirety of the WWE! Ethan won’t just be the greatest North American, no! He deserves GLOBAL recognition! So Ethan will be the one becoming TWO-TIME NXT Champion! Ethan signs his part, and Saints says wow, that’s funny when it’ll be Saints. Tony D shouts, “ENOUGH!” The contract is sent to Tony, and he says he used to do the sit downs, conduct business, he gets it. These three have all had this title. Ethan came right into NXT and grabbed it. But just as fast as he won it, he lost it. Saints, you came in, you were supposed to be the new face of NXT. And he is Absolute. An absolutely underwhelming failure!

As for Hendry, Tony has no quarrels with him, but this isn’t about fan interaction. This is about winning the biggest prize NXT has to offer. Hendry might not agree with Tony, but Hendry is just an outside, same as Saints and Ethan. Tony is the NXT born-and-bred! NXT is in Tony’s blood! Tony doesn’t care who you are, where you’re from, or what you’ve done, because on Saturday, Stand & Deliver, Tony will run t hem all over like a damn freight train! The fans do cheer that, and Tony signs his part. With that, Stone takes the contract back, and Tony says we all know how this goes, so Stone should get the hell outta the ring.

Stone obliges, and Tony SMACKS Saints off the desk! Ethan and Hendry brawl on their end, and the fans fire up! Tony and Hendry each guzel these Absolute Egos, but then Saints and Ethan each kick low! Then Ethan Canadian Racks Hendry, but Tony turns things back on Saints! CHOKE SLAM for Saints and EGO’S EDGE for Hendry, both down through the tables!! Ethan and Tony then fire off haymakers with each other! The fans fire up, but security rushes out here! MSG wants to “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” but this fight will have to finish in St. Louis! Who defies the odds to come out as THE NXT Champion?

Keanu Carver VS Jasper Troy, with Special Guest Referee Josh Briggs!

The One Man Demolition Crew almost ruined Booker T Appreciation Night over the smallest slight, but the MonStar stepped up for his mentor. As for why the Man of Mayhem is in this, A) no referee wanted part of this because they might get hurt and B) Briggs just wanted to be part of NXT in MSG. Will Briggs be able to keep things under control? Or are these kaiju about to tear the house down?

But before Troy can even step into the ring, Keanu CLOBBERS him at the apron! The fans boo and Briggs asks what’s the rush, but Keanu POSTS Troy! And RAMS him into steel steps! Keanu talks trash, the ref tells him to get this in the ring, but Keanu grabs Troy’s chain. Troy grabs it, too, and uses it to reel Keanu in for a short arm LARIAT! The fans tell Briggs, “Ring The Bell! Ring The Bell!” but referee’s discretion lets him let them battle it out. Troy puts Keanu in the ring, now the bell sounds, and Troy SPLASHES! Troy eggs Keanu on, then scoops, but Keanu CLAWS Troy’s face! Keanu HEADBUTTS Troy, then BOOTS him!

Keanu snarls and stomps Troy into the corner, the fans boo, and Briggs takes his time counting! Keanu CHOKES Troy while Briggs slowly reaches 4, and then he tells Keanu to stop. Keanu gets heated with Briggs already but Briggs says he was letting Keanu do plenty, so back it down. Troy bails out, Keanu goes out after him, and Booker has to watch himself. A fan shouts at Keanu that he sucks, and Keanu grabs the guy! Briggs stops Keanu and shoves him back. Briggs says Troy is one thing, that’s a fan. Keanu storms over, Vic and Book back up, but Troy guzels Keanu! CHOKE SLAM down through the desk!

The fans fire up and Troy gets Keanu back in the ring! Troy then reels Keanu for the FALL INTO THE ABYSS! Cover, TWO?!? Briggs says he counted that fairly, but Troy isn’t so sure. Briggs tells Troy it was two, but Troy shoves him! Uh oh… Troy apologizes, but Briggs BOOTS Troy down! The fans boo but Keanu runs to POUNCE! Then Keanu reels Troy in for a scoop, and he CARVES ‘EM UP!! Cover, Keanu wins!

Winner: Keanu Carver, by pinfall

The fans boo and Booker asks what the heck! Troy pushing Briggs is one thing, but Briggs tipped the scales! And wait, now Keanu is getting attitude again? He wants Briggs to raise his hand? Briggs says yeah, okay. Briggs raises Keanu’s hand in victory, then short arm LARIATS him down! The fans cheer something Briggs did for once, but will Briggs make sure everyone understands that he’s just as dangerous?

Hank ‘n’ Tank are in the… red room?

The Big Belly Bandits practically match this room’s decor, but they’re more concerned with how Elio LeFleur and Sean Legacy are doing. Super Sean says he’s in rehab, he’s making good progress. Hank says hard times have fallen upon all of them. Hank ‘n’ Tank won the tag team championships last year at Stand & Deliver, and now… They’re losing to BIRTHRIGHT?! But also, emotionally, they’re up in their feelings. Physically, Sean and Elio- Oh, careful of that arm… They’re really hurting. The French luchador says yes, his shoulder ligaments are torn up, he’ll be out for… six months… Now, he must relinquish the Speed Championship.

Elio apologizes to Eli Knight but Eli says there’s no need for that. Robert Stone let Elio know, the tournament to crown a new champion starts next week, and Elio says Eli should enter and win. Eli says say less, bro. And then in steps Wren Sinclair! The Women’s Speed Champion checks with the Men’s Speed Champion, and she feels really bad about his shoulder. But then Shiloh Hill laughs as he enters, and he asks everyone why they’re all so sad. Didn’t they see what he did to Birthright? Y-Yes, they love the psychotic enthusiasm as always, Shiloh, but when it comes to Saturday, they’re all on the outside looking in. So this isn’t really the best time.

Shiloh says sorry about that. But he’s not on Stand & Deliver either, and yet… Shiloh takes a headcount… He has an idea now! Shiloh laughs his way back out, what is going on in that enigmatic mind?

Tatum Paxley heads to the ring!

The fans cheer as #TuesdayAddams makes her entrance, ready for her little face-to-face with the woman who literally stole her title in Houston. Tatum grabs a mic to say, “Last week, it felt so good to grab Blake Monroe by her perfect, platinum blonde hair. She was crying and screaming, and I almost kicked down the door to her hotel room, but then I thought, Blake Monroe is a very complex woman. And that just… excites me!” The fans like the sound of that. Tatum says she gave an ultimatum: Bring the title here to New York City! So Blake, you have something that belongs to Tatum, so come on out and play.

Blake makes her entrance, and she has a mic to tell Tatum, “Darling, I don’t understand what your problem is with me. I mean, I have no issue with you.” Blake joins Tatum in the ring as she says this Women’s North American Championship just feels right. She never did lose it in the first place. And now that it is in her hands, Blake hopes Tatum understands that she just can’t give it back. She can’t! Tatum says she sees why people can be so blinded by The Glamour. But let’s face it, Blake has something that Tatum wants, but Tatum has something Blake wants, too. Oh, Tatum, look at you and look at Blake. How could that possibly be true?

Tatum says Blake has Tatum’s title, and Tatum has the opportunity Blake has been waiting for in the palm of her hands: The opportunity to have your first Stand & Deliver. Because what is NXT’s biggest show of the year without Blake Monroe? “Blake, you’re different. There are parts to you that people wouldn’t understand, but I would. I get why you wouldn’t want to talk about those parts because you bury them so deep. But wouldn’t you just hate it if you had to sit at home and just watch Stand & Deliver? You crave that sense of belonging, and I get it! That feeling is deep within me, because that feeling has caused me to do unbelievable harm.

“It has taken my mind to places that I never thought existed. And I think you feel all that, too. Because that’s why you’re holding a title that does not belong to you.” The fans cheer that! Tatum says let’s make them both happy here! They can both get what they want. On Saturday, they can have some fun. Blake says that is quite the proposition. And Tatum would be the perfect costar alongside Blake at the biggest show. Blake accepts this offer for a match. Tatum smiles, but Blake says to say that the same things that run through Tatum’s brain run through Blake’s is crazy, even for Tatum! Tatum and Blake are polar opposites!

Blake is a polished woman! She is perfection! She is the standard of N X T! The CW named an espresso martini after her, Blake’s hotel room has a view of the city, while Tatum looks like she belongs in the crowd with the dirty New Yorkers! The fans boo that, but Blake continues by saying Tatum is a sweet girl, but she’s a champion by title. This title needs a woman like Blake. Tatum says no, she won’t get blindsided by some circus level crap! The fans cheer that! Tatum gets that there is a side of Blake that comes out when she’s really angry, but there’s a worse side to Tatum. Tatum can be the goth to Blake’s glamour, the fire to her hell.

Tatum will let Blake decide her fate for Saturday, but for tonight, Blake will give back what belongs to Tatum. Tatum and Blake tug-o-war! And then they throw hands! The fans fire up as Tatum whips, then DECKS Blake! And ROLLING LIGER KICK! Blake tumbles away, but she still grabs the belt on the way out! Will Blake have no choice but to give it back when it is time to Stand & Deliver?

Backstage interview with Robert Stone.

Sarah Schreiber is with the NXT General Manager and brings up that this will be his first Stand & Deliver as GM. Stone says yes, the card is stacked! And a certain someone approached him with a last minute idea, and the lightbulb went off. For the Countdown Show on YouTube, it will be a 10 Person Mixed Tag Team Match! Birthright VS Eli Knight, Shiloh Hill, Hank ‘n’ Tank, and Wren Sinclair! An exciting way to kick off Stand & Deliver, but- Oh, Keanu storms in and he knows Stone saw what Briggs’ punk ass just did! Give Briggs to Keanu, or they’re gonna have a problem. Stone says he doesn’t want that, and he talked with Troy, Troy agrees.

Keanu don’t give a DAMN what Troy says! Stone says he will, because it will be a Triple Threat of Keanu VS Troy VS Briggs! Oh no, now there’s something going on around the corner! Lani and Jaida are brawling! And Lani SMASHES Jaida with a trash can! Lani stomps away but refs drag her back! The Standout just can’t stand losing, but is she pushing things too far?

NXT studies the Rise & Fall of #ZaRuca.

An unlikely friendship became an incredible tag team, but all anyone ever saw was the individual success of Sol Ruca. Sure, they were Tag Team of the Year, but Sol was Female Superstar of the Year, and a dual champion between the Women’s Speed and Women’s North American Championships. Zaria was told left and right that Sol was just using her, that Zaria had nothing and would never have anything if Sol was in the way. And yet, despite Sol saying it would happen for Zaria one day, that day has yet to come, and Zaria’s done with waiting! The Agent of Change changed the entire dynamic, and now she fights for herself!

Both women see themselves as the hero of their own story, making the other out to be the villain. When everyone lives their truth, either everyone is right, or no one is. So who will stand tall when these two fight it out once and for all?

Jacy Jayne says she’s glad to be out of that mess. Everyone always lets her NXT Women’s Championship stand in the way of their friendships. Luckily for them, they don’t have that problem, right? Fallon Henley says totally. Lainey Reid says all that is left is to see who faces her at Stand & Deliver. But Izzi Dame says Jacy’s been on top for far too long to act dumb now. She knows exactly why everyone wants what she has, and Izzi isn’t talking about these two cronies. Izzi always makes it clear what she wants. Izzi leaves, Fatal Influence don’t take her seriously, but will Jacy make sure to take Saturday seriously so she can stay on top?

NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Kendal Grey w/ Wren Sinclair VS Lola Vice!

While the Ice Woman had her Final Evolution, having left Tubi and the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship behind, she’s already been on a roll here in NXT. However, the same can be said about the Mayor of Vice City, who is still rolling as AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion. It’s a grappler VS a fighter, who wins their ticket to Stand & Deliver?

NXT returns as Kendal makes her entrance, Wren by her side. The bell rings and the two tie up. They go around the ropes, then Lola arm-drags Kendal away. The two go again, Kendal waistlocks and SLAMS Lola down, then rolls her to a cover, ONE! Kendal holds on but Lola switches and wrangles Kendal. Kendal fights up, the fans duel, and Kendal switches. Lola switches, Kendal moves around, but Lola shoves her down. Lola flips Kendal over, but Kendal kips up to arm-drag back! The fans cheer the standoff, and the two reset. They circle, tie up, and Kendal arm-drags! Then arm-drags again! But Lola turns that into a headlock!

Kendal fights up while the fans cheer on “Women’s Wrestling!” Lola hits a takeover, but Kendal keeps her shoulders up as she moves around. Kendal rolls Lola to a cover again, ONE, and Lola grinds the hold. Kendal headscissors, Lola moves around, and Lola bridges, but Kendal turns that into a headlock. The fans cheer this technical exchange, and Lola headscissors. Kendal moves around, turns Lola over, and floats to a facelock. The fans duel as Lola rolls but Kendal holds on! Lola trips Kendal to get the headlock back, but Kendal fights back up. Kendal powers up and out, but Lola RUNS her over! Lola shakes her hips and the fans cheer.

Lola runs, but Kendal stays low, only for Lola to counter the hip toss! Kendal counters back, but Lola drops into the ARMBAR! Kendal clasps hands, rolls back, and pops free to get Lola’s arm! ARMBAR, but they’re in the ropes! Lola powers up to stack Kendal, TWO! Lola KNEES Kendal low, then whips her to the ropes for a KICK! The fans fire up, Lola whips and- NO, Kendal counters the kick with a roll-up, TWO! Both women stand, Kendal goes to the corner but Lola runs up. Kendal ELBOWS Lola away, then goes up and out to duck under and cartwheel over! Kendal slips under, keeps moving, and redirects Lola, only for Lola to BODY BLOW!

The fans fire up as Lola clinches, and she CHOSP! And CHOPS! Lola goes to the ropes, slingshots and arm-drags Kendal, then LIGHTNING KICKS! The fans fire up for the SOBAT that puts Kendal in the corner! Lola swaggers, and reminds us, “I’m a Latina~!” HIP ATTACK! Lola keeps moving, but Kendal dodges! Hips hit buckle, and Kendal RAMS into Lola! But Lola SOBATS Kendal off the apron! Lola fires the fans up as she goes to the apron, and she FLYING SEATED SENTONS! Lola and the fans are fired up as NXT goes picture in picture.

Lola drags Kendal up and into the ring, then stalks her as she crawls. Lola brings Kendal up to snap suplex! That’s just Una Amiga as Lola brings Kendal up again for another snap suplex! That’s Dos Amigas, and Lola brings Kendal up again. Lola gives some Latina Heat, then snap suplexes for THREE AMIGAS! Cover, TWO! Kendal survives but Lola stays calm. Lola puts Kendal on the ropes, then whips her to ELBOW her down! Cover, ONE!! Kendal is tougher than that, but Lola storms up on her. Kendal fires body shots, then rolls Lola up, TWO! Lola KICKS Kendal back down! And then she clamps on with a chinlock!

Kendal endures and reaches out, even as Lola squeezes tight. Kendal fights up, fires body shots, but Lola UPPERCUTS her down! Lola then stands Kendal up, but Kendal catches the uppercut to a backslide, TWO! Kendal rolls Lola up again, TWO! Lola has the arm for the LEBELL LOCK! Kendal endures, reaches out, rolls Lola to another cover, TWO! Lola holds on and pulls on the hold even harder! Kendal still endures, fights around again, another cover, TWO! Lola shifts and has a lateral press, TWO! Both women stand, Kendal ducks ‘n’ dodges, but DOUBLE LARIATS take them both down!

NXT returns to single picture as the fans fire up again! Lola sits up and she sees Kendal go to ropes. The dueling is growing stronger, but Lola runs up! Kendal ELBOWS Lola away, then BOOTS her away! Kendal goes up, over, and she ELBOWS Lola again! And again! Then she slips around to GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up, and the straps come down! Kendal is hitting that second gear as she SAIDOS! And SAIDOS again! Lola flounders but Kendal runs up at the corner, SHINING- NO, Lola blocks the knee to THROW Kendal back! Lola runs up, but Kendal ducks the uraken! ARMBAR TAKEDOWN! Lola flails while the fans fire up!

Kendal claws at the grip, but Lola stacks her up, TWO! Kendal wheelbarrows, but Lola throws her back, then jumps on for body scissors! REAR NAKED CHOKE!! Lola holds on, even as Kendal rolls around! Wren coaches Kendal, the fans duel even harder, and Kendal pries at the sleeper part of the hold! Then she pops free of the scissors to roll back and cover, TWO as Lola bridges up! But Kendal holds onto the dragon sleeper, only for Lola to spin and KNEE! Kendal rebounds, into the URAKEN!! Buenas noches, but Kendal falls outta the ring! A bit of luck saves Kendal, and Lola hurries to get her back up. But now Fatal Influence struts out here?

The fans boo Jacy and her girls, but other refs hurry to keep them from doing anything. Lola dares Jacy to do something, it took all of them to beat Lola last time anyway. Lola goes back to Kendal, Kendal ELBOWS Lola, and then Kendal waistlocks. Kendal lifts but Lola fights it, and she elbows free! Lola KICKS low, then winds up to run in, only for Kendal to dodge! Hip attack hits steel steps! The ring count is climbing, Kendal puts Lola in at 5 of 10. Kendal hurries up the apron, then up the corner. Wren cheers Kendal on, as does MSG, and Kendal leaps, into a SOBAT! Cover, TWO!! Kendal survives and the fans fire up again!

Fatal Influence continues to be unimpressed but MSG is loving this! Lola drags Kendal up but Kendal holds the ropes. Lola still yanks Kendal in for the back suplex, but Kendal lands out! Kendal dodges the boot, then SHADOW ELBOWS! Cover, TWO!! Lola survives what otherwise would be a knockout shot! The fans fire up as Lola goes to the ropes while checking her jaw. Kendal goes to the opposite end and MSG is dueling as hard as they can! Lola storms up on Kendal, but Kendal ROCKS her first! Lola ROCKS Kendal! Kendal BOOTS Lola! Lola BODY BLOWS, but then Kendal bobs ‘n’ weaves to fire off haymaker after haymaker!

Kendal kicks, CHOPS, but Lola SOBATS! More LIGHTNING KICKS, but one gets caught! ANKLE LOCK!! The fans are thunderous as Lola endures! Lola claws forward, but Kendal drags her back to center!! Lola rolls, reels Kendal in for a cover, TWO!! Kendal TACKLES Lola then jackknife bridges, but TWO as Lola jackknife bridges back! They spin it around, and Lola jumps on, GUILLOTINE FACELOCK!! Kendal flails but she’s caught! Kendal reaches out, she breaks the leg scissors, and then goes for those legs, but Lola kick s off the corner, TORNADO TAKEDOWN! Kendal is caught but she refuses to give up!

Kendal fights up, reaches out, but she is fading! Kendal drops, but then she gets a second wind! Lola still holds on tight, until Kendal NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridging cover, but IS SHE TAPPING OUT?!? The main ref counted THREE, but the second ref calls the tap!! Lola is as confused as anyone, but the refs talk it out. Replay shows that yes, Lola’s shoulders are down, but Kendal is tapping on Lola’s side! The one side tells Kendal she tapped out, the other side says Lola got pinned, and they all kinda tell the refs they messed up. But wait! Here comes HBK! The fans cheer as Shawn Michaels is gonna sort this one out!

Jacy is freaking out, she wants Shawn to make a decision, but we’re going off the air as he’s still talking it over! What does this mean for Stand & Deliver?!

My Thoughts:

A great NXT that was supposed to be Roadblock but then they got rid of that branding for whatever reason. Great Six Man Tag to open, and a great win for the Faces so that Santana gets a win in MSG on his record. DarkState had a very good promo later, and I feel like Dion is gonna get involved with that NXT Championship Fatal 4 Way since it is No Disqualification by default. We got a good contract signing segment from those four, and hard to say who had the best spoken part. Tony D and Ethan being the two brawling at the end was a little surprising, and even if Dion gets involved, it could come down to Ethan or Tony winning.

Great tag title contender’s match, and I’m actually a bit surprised Los Americanos won after all the overbooking. But in the end, that’s great, the fans love Los Americanos now, and they’ll give Swipe Right a great match for Stand & Deliver. Very good promo form all the different midcard Faces, and Wren trying to be buddies with Elio is certainly curious. Shiloh helping arranged a Mixed 10 Person Tag is fun stuff, and it’s been a long time since anything WWE has had a kickoff show match, so this is great. For story, I would think the Faces win, but Birthright needs to come off stronger so they probably cheat that one.

Good little promo from Vanity Project with Blake Monroe, and then very good promo from Blake with Tatum. Tatum standing tall but not snatching the belt back feels like neutral go-home math, where Tatum could easily win and literally take the belt back, or Blake cheats hard and steals the win. The latter scenario would be a shame for Tatum, which is ironic since she’s had both titles in NXT. Would Blake be the one to send Tatum off to main roster then? Good stuff with Keanu, Troy and Briggs, and obviously the fan Keanu grabbed was a plant. But this ended up just a vehicle to get us to a big meaty men Triple Threat on Tuesday, so it’s just a bit odd.

Great match from Jaida VS Lani, great win for Jaida, and then pretty good follow-up with Lani attacking backstage. It’s a little late to put one more grudge match on Stand & Deliver, but I bet there’ll be a Street Fight between them for an NXT episode to follow. And from there, maybe Jaida gets one more chance at THE NXT Women’s Championship while Lani joins Melo on SmackDown. Great video package for Zaria and Sol, though no actual new material. That grudge match will be great, and with how the fans in Orlando reacted, I feel like Zaria should win and Sol can move on to main roster to help spice up the midcard a bit before moving into the top title scenes.

And awesome stuff with the main event, Kendal and Lola made the perfect combination given their legit backgrounds. I almost thought Fatal Influence was going to “ruin” this and cause the Triple Threat, but I greatly appreciate how they pulled off that simultaneous three count and tap out. It seems like they’re going to wait and announce the decision later in the week, maybe even on the day of Stand & Deliver, but duh, it’ll still be a Triple Threat. And with that, Jacy can be protected even in a loss, but she could just do what she did with Zaria and Sol and use them against each other. Personally, it’s time, let Jacy lose.
