Adam Copeland Stakes His Tag-Team Future Against FTR at Double or Nothing

Adam Copeland announced on AEW Dynamite that he and Christian Cage will put their partnership on the line against AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR, with Copeland declaring that if they fail to regain the belts at Double or Nothing they will never team again. The title vs. career-as-a-team stipulation was revealed in a pre-taped promo and, while unofficial at the time of the announcement, is expected to headline the Queens, NY pay-per-view on May 24.

The match continues a heated rivalry that began at last year’s All Out, where Copeland and Cage scored the victory before Copeland’s wife Beth was attacked post-match, and resumed at this year’s Revolution. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) successfully defended the titles against Copeland and Cage at Dynasty, setting the stage for what could be a final showdown between the teams.
