AJ Francis Defends TNA After Talent Pulled from AEW Matches
TNA faced criticism after several of its wrestlers were pulled from scheduled matches against AEW talent during the WrestleMania 42 weekend, with last‑minute cancellations and replacements drawing heat aimed at TNA President Carlos Silva. The changes included Leon Slater being removed from a slated bout with Ricochet, prompting questions from fans and media alike.
AJ Francis took to social media to back Silva’s explanation, praising the decision and telling critics to “cut that victim bulls*it out,” arguing that every promotion protects its interests — noting AEW’s own booking protections and pointing to his night‑one main event against Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Title. His comments follow similar defenses from other TNA figures, including Matt Hardy, as the company navigates the fallout.
