Alberto El Patrón Released From Jail After Conditional Suspension, Settlement Reported
Former WWE and AAA Champion Alberto El Patrón has reportedly been released from jail after obtaining a conditional suspension of his sentence, local outlets including SuperLuchas report. The release comes after a settlement with his wife — who accused him of domestic assault on April 6 — with reports stating he received her forgiveness and paid one million pesos in restitution; authorities say the legal process remains open and the case is not closed.
El Patrón was arrested at the scene on April 6 after officers observed visible injuries on his wife and was placed in pretrial detention days later. The incident adds to past legal struggles for the wrestler, who was arrested in Texas in 2020 on allegations of battery and sexual assault that were later dropped after delays in the case.
