Allin vs. Brody King and MJF vs. Kevin Knight Official for Next AEW Dynamite

AEW World Champion Darby Allin will defend his title against Brody King on next Wednesday’s Dynamite in Fairfax, VA. Allin made a successful defense against Tommaso Ciampa Wednesday, and King — fresh off a win over Lio Rush — emerged after the match saying he spoke with Tony Khan and has been granted the title shot; King previously failed to capture gold from MJF at Grand Slam Australia and holds a 2-2 singles series with Allin, including a win in the 2024 Continental Classic.

Also set for next week, TNT Champion Kevin Knight will defend against MJF after a heated in-ring exchange where MJF called out Allin and dismissed the TNT title as being “for those with a ceiling,” prompting Knight to challenge him. The challenger and champion have recent history — MJF defended his world title against Knight in March — and the bout was officially booked for next Wednesday following MJF’s provocation that he would “dance with the devil next week, kid.”
