Andrew’s TNA iMPACT! Results & Match Ratings: 4.2.2026

Well, Sacrifice kinda sucked. The main event was cut short because of the concussion, the show itself dragged and never really got out of first gear. The best match was Dani Luna vs Lei Ying Lee vs Arianna Grace. Which it was honestly a good match, but that also tells you the general quality of the show.

While Maclin’s concussion is unfortunate, now we get to see how TNA makes sense of things and pieces together Rebellion. Because Nic Nemeth called his shot for Rebellion at Sacrifice, but they announced a few days ago that Santana will face Eddie. So how do they write themselves out of the plot hole?

Ratings:

• Mike Santana, Moose, Leon Slater & Trey Miguel vs Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander, Eddie Edwards & Agent Zero: Eddie wins via Boston Knee Party – ** 3/4
• Bunkhouse Match: Tessa Blanchard vs Jody Threat: Tessa wins via Referee’s Decision – ***
• AJ Francis vs Home Town Man: AJ wins via Down Payment – *
• TNA Knockouts World Championship: Xia Brookside w/Lei Ying Lee vs Arianna Grace (c) w/Stacks: Arianna wins via Face Breaker/STO combo – ** 1/2

Results:

Santana opens the show, and gloats about dropping Maclin. Heel turn? He seems giddy about finally getting his hands on Eddie. Eddie and Cedric come out, to talk smack. Cedric has one hell of a promo. Leon comes out tripping over English and Cedric is carrying this promo. Mustafa Ali and Order 4 comes out next. Trey comes out, says words, Moose comes out and kicks and flips Great Hands. Santino comes out to makes an 8 man right out of this.

Mike Santana, Moose, Leon Slater & Trey Miguel vs Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander, Eddie Edwards & Agent Zero

Mustafa and Moose started, tags to Mike and Cedric…a little quick movement, Eddie tags in and Mike takes over with a John Woo Dropkick. Leon takes the tag, a little assisted quick offense, and a near fall. Eddie with a thumb to the eye, but a Springboard Elbow tags Eddie. Leon starts rolling with a Frankensteiner, Forearm, and then gets caught by Cedric with an STO on the apron. Cedric takes the tag and gets some stuff moving before the simultaneous tag, Trey and Mustafa come in. Trey hits Mustafa with a Meteora, Tasha and the outside get in the way, screw with Trey and Eddie tags in to isolate Trey.

Cedric and Eddie with the Ground and Pound, keeping Trey without air. He nearly gets a nice dodge where Eddie plants himself into the turnbuckles, but Mustafa cuts off Trey. Trey gets tossed to the floor and beaten down while the referee is confused. We go to commercial, come back and its a break neck pace. Trey gets tossed around by Agent Zero.

Trey manages to tag in Moose, so the power guys go head to head. After a bit of a slugfest, Moose connects on the Superplex but eats a 450 from Ali! Ali then eats a Swanton 450, but Leon pops right into a Lumbar Check. Santana cleans house, Cedric, Great Hands, he’s rolling until he gets caught with a Boston Knee Party. Heels win.

There’s a Hardy Party promo in the ring. After The Righteous turned on them at Sacrifice, they’re addressing the angle. It’s not bad, nothing special, but with two weeks to build, it makes sense. 

Bunkhouse Match: Tessa Blanchard vs Jody Threat

Jody attacks instead of getting introduced, grabs a trash can and starts kicking Tessa down the ramp and using the can. Jody continues to just kick Tessa, eventually goes to grab a few chairs. Jody finds a trash can lid, also grabs the gear box from ringside, a cowbell, kendo stick, Jody tries to grab a table, Tessa cuts her off, throws the table back under the ring. Tessa tries to continue leveling Jody, but misses the trashcan into the post. Jody manages to get the gear box into the ring and they brawl a little. Jody Apron Powerbombs Tessa, rolls her back in and we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, Jody has Tessa in a chair ready for the German Suplex and Knees spot, but she misses. Tessa and Jody swing back and forth, Tessa tries to use the bullrope, Jody stops her, chokes her with the gear box, Tessa takes the referee’s belt and whips and chokes Jody. Jody tries to fight out of it, but Tessa holds on, they lean over the apron, Jody goes unconscious and the referee calls the match.

AJ Francis vs Home Town Man

HTM gets goozled early but hits the Flip, Flop and Fly, Lariats AJ out of the ring, Suicida connects! HTM wraps his fist in his Drew Brees jersey and clocks AJ with a big right hand. He looks for a Scoop Slam, which proves stupid since AJ is twice his size. HTM crumbles and AJ lays in some hamhock strikes, Tennessee Whiskey hit in the corner, and HTM is writhing. The crowd is behind HTM, he starts the Hogan comeback, a few punches, the point and he finally gets AJ over with the Scoop Slam! HTM is feeling himself, but AJ hits the TFL and Down Payment, and the match is over.

Yeah, I don’t know what this accomplished. After the match, AJ throws to the tron to show Ryan calling for help because Nic Nemeth is laid out in the back. AJ apparently attacked Nic at Sacrifice because he’s the real show stealer. So I guess this is why Eddie gets the title match at Rebellion and not Nic, because AJ stopped him. Ryan comes out angry, but he’s not dumb enough to attack him yet. Ryan and Nic, babyface time?

TNA Knockouts World Championship: Xia Brookside w/Lei Ying Lee vs Arianna Grace (c) w/Stacks

Early on, Arianna actually keeps Xia grounded until she fights up, a quick La Magistral for two and now Xia keeps the chain wrestling going. Arianna manages to get out of things with an Achilles Hook, but back to back Arm Drags and a Dropkick send Arianna to powder. Commercial time.

We’re back from commercial and Xia hits with a Headscissors, drives Grace into the corner, cute trip, Broken Wings, Russian Leg Sweep and lifts her for a Spicolli Driver, Arianna slips it and tries a Pump Kick but misses and gets dropped for a near fall. Arianna counters Xia’s momentum with a Facebuster and a Spinning European Uppercut. Stacks hands Arianna the Cobra, Xia stops it for now, hits a Tornado DDT…but Stacks pulls out Xia.

Lei tries to even the odds, Arianna goes after Lei and throws her into the steps. Xia snaps and sends Arianna into the steps twice, Tornado DDT on Stacks. Xia is tapping into that little aggressive streak she started with her Rosemary story. Arianna tries to use the Cobra, Xia steps on her hand and takes the Cobra. They are now playing tug of war with the Cobra. Stacks takes a bump, roll up from Xia! Only a two count.

Arianna grabs the belt but drops it, Codebreaker from Xia for another near fall. After a charge, Xia gets countered, Stacks distracts during the Brooksie Bomb, but Lei Dives onto Stacks. Arianna uses the title, hits her face breaker/STO combo, to retain.

Arianna and Stacks are going to attack Lei Ying Lee, but Santana comes out to stop the beatdown and Spins the Block on Stacks. Eddie and The System are in the crowd, taking Santana’s usual entrance. 

Overall Score: 4/10

While nothing was overly offensive, this was…painfully boring. While I can personally give the main event scene some grace because of the concussion issue, but everything fell flat today. Santana’s promos feel very arrogant and heelish. Not swagger, not resolve, just dickhead behavior.

The only bit I found interesting was the very end stinger with Father James Mitchell beckoning Tessa and welcoming her to the Undead Realm.

The Nic pivot sucks because Rebellion is in Cleveland, Nic could’ve had a fun moment…but now it’s marred with AJ Francis. My only hope is that with AJ keeping KC Navarro’s name in his mouth last few weeks KC comes back and shuts his fat ass up.

So yeah, not offensive, but not good.
