Andrew’s TNA iMPACT! Results & Match Ratings: 4.9.2026

It’s Go Home time! Rebellion is this Saturday. The card is a little rushed because it’s only two weeks after Sacrifice and the Maclin injury threw a monkey wrench into things. We also get a Dani Luna match tonight, which I’m assuming is the last one she recorded before asking for her release.

Let’s just hope the Go Home actually does something for Rebellion and doesn’t continue the current trend of disappointing or bad.

Ratings:

• Dani Luna vs Jada Stone: Jada wins via Corkscrew Moonsault – ** 1/4

Results:

Oh, this is different with the Contract Signing kicking off the show…but it’s also talking. So it’s both different and more of the harbinger of a bad show when we start with 15+ minutes of a promo segment. Eddie’s lead point is that, while they came into TNA similarly, Santana left, Eddie stayed during the bad times. Even a little Inner Circle dig. Simple, but everything Eddie said is straight facts. Santana tries to clap back with something akin to him trying to test himself but TNA was in his heart, where he loses the babyface aspect is trying to say he turned down more money than Eddie would ever see in his life and tries to insult Eddie’s loyalty as complacency. 

Segment breaks down with Cedric attacking Santana, Leon makes the save, Santana and Leon stand tall. 

Dani Luna vs Jada Stone

Tasha Steelz is on commentary.

Jada comes out with her spunky swagger, tries to lock up with Dani, which is not smart. Dani is a brick house, and puts the brakes on many attempts at offense. Dani looks like a monster to start with. Jada does Matrix through a big boot, a few strikes, she wiggles out of a slam attempt, Dani and Jada struggle for positioning until Jada hits the rope assists Headscissors. Dani powders, Jada dives. Jada and Tasha jaw back and forth before Dani hits her with an Apron Bomb and we go to commercial.

Back from the break, Dani misses the Hip Attack in the corner, but Jada misses the follow up kick against the ropes. Dani tries to charge, but Jada dodges again, both women dodge and land a few pot shots until Jada manages a kick to the mouth, springboard Guillotine Leg Drop into the Split Legged Moonsault for two. Jada tries her Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors, but Dani blocks it, turns it into a Backbreaker and then holds on to execute a Sit Out Powerbomb! Only a near fall, but a cool sequence.

Jada fights off the Luna Landing, Elbows, Roll-Up, Superkicks, but Dani doesn’t go down. Dani catches the third kick, Forearm Shiver, but Dani looks for a Lariat and Jada counters it with a Matrix into a Headscissors which sends Dani face first into the buckles. Jada connects with a Corkscrew Moonsault for the win!

Taryn Terrell comes to the ring, it’s cringe, not acted well and then the Elegance Brand show up. Maggie is the only one worth anything in the group without ASH. Apparently the Elegance Brand took out ODB and Mickie James before the promo. So now we get a beatdown situation, Security shows up and the Elegantos take them out. Mr. Elegance Scoop Slams Taryn and then Maggie puts her in the Surfboard for the tag finisher they call Nip & Tuck. This was a waste of television time. I’ve had explosive diarrhea more enjoyable. 

BDE vs Frankie Kazarian

Ryan Nemeth is now on commentary, business is finally picking up.

Kaz takes BDE to the ground, big brothers him a bit and is very much not taking this seriously. BDE tries to pick the Wristlock with his foot, but Kaz isn’t giving BDE any easy outs. Springboard Leg Drop into a Rope Assisted Backbreaker. BDE manages to connect on a desperation Busaiku Knee, he then tries his Clip Cutter finish but gets caught in a Backstabber and the Chicken Wing! BDE taps out, and Ryan goes into the ring to congratulate Kaz and rub it in BDE’s face.

Elayna Black vs Myla Grace w/Harley Hudson

Basic Lockup start, Elayna pushes Myla into a corner, break, Myla grabs an arm, Arm Wringer into a Headlock, into a La Magistral for a near fall. Myla starts rocking Elayna, a Double Boot Facewash, a little showboating and Elayna makes her pay. Big counter, Splash to the back, and Elayna calls her straight up stupid. A little bit of a classic Curb Stomp from Elayna and a lot of trash talk. Myla hits a Lariat to slow down Elayna’s offense, Final Cut for two.

Myla goes up but eats a Knee Lift and crashes down. Elayna connects with the Blackout, and Elayna wins.

Daria suspends Santino and Indi after the Arianna & Stacks kerfuffle. A little dumb but it might be necessary to fill two months of build for Slammiversary.

Ricky Sosa comes out with Gia Miller for an interview, Eric Young cuts it off and sounds like he’s losing his voice more than usual. Calls himself the Gatekeeper, Sosa tries to be amenable, but EY calls him a punk and pokes his chest. Sosa doesn’t back down, things get a little heated, but EY sneaks him. Sosa fights back a little but EY turns things around a little, Piledriver…nope Sosa counters. Bang Bang Double Uppercuts. But Sosa showboats and EY levels him and hits the Piledriver. EY standing tall as we go to commercial.

Order 4 and Trey have a very stock standard promo. It was a little funny with Ali calling all the champions “Second Chance” Champs. So Ali will never win because he’s not a screw up and TNA loves failures. It ends with Moose making the save for Trey, Order 4 saves Ali but the babyfaces hold the ring. 

TNA World Tag Team Championship: Tables Match: The Righteous vs The Hardyz (c)

Righteous attack during the Hardyz entrance, but the Hardyz fight back. Vincent eats a Side Effect, Dutch gets posted and The Hardyz grab the first table. Double Back Elbow on Vincent, they finally get the table up. Launcher/Leg Drop Combination from The Hardyz on Vincent. They start to focus on Dutch. They position Vincent on the table, Matt goes up for the Extreme Elbow and misses! Commercial time.

Coming back to Delete Head Smashes in the corner! Poetry in Motion in Stereo. Both done the old people way, but we know what it’s supposed to be and they Lariat Dutch out of the ring. Wrecking Ball Dropkick sends Vincent spilling out, but the back and forth continues. Jeff does launch Dutch into and over the steps. makes a good sound, looks good. Matt walks over to a reeling Dutch with a mouth filled with A-Game, Muta Mists Dutch with hydration. Jeff finds a ladder and a broom. Hits Vincent with the broom, Jeff climbs the ladder, Vincent cuts him off and posts him, then a Snap DDT into the floor.

Vincent tries to break the rungs of the ladder with a chair, clever way to take a tool out of the Hardy arsenal. Dutch sets up two tables, Righteous looks for Dual Suplexes, but the Hardyz block it. Matt and Vincent Double Lariat each other while Dutch and Jeff brawl. Dutch has Jeff on a table. Matt gets behind Dutch, holds Dutch in place. They rock him, and toss Dutch through the table. Vincent however shoves Matt immediately after. So each team has 1 member driven through a table. Vincent goes for a Swanton and misses. Jeff tries and misses!

Matt catches Vincent with the Twist of Fate on the outside. Matt places Vincent on the outside table, Jeff ascends, Swanton connects! Hardyz retain!

Overall Score: 4/10

Most of this show was pretty damn bad. It was saved by the Undead Realm segment and the Main Event. Yes, I found the initial Santino and Indi segment amusing, but then the suspension gimmick ruined the good fun of that. Elayna has gotten much better, and while I’m glad Myla got a little shine, it was an obvious outcome. Since we know Dani asked for her release, one could assume she lost. Kaz and BDE was a nothing burger, just sets up to a BDE and Ryan Nemeth rematch where BDE probably gets his first win over Ryan.

This dragged, did nothing for Rebellion except further cement I hate the direction of Santana’s promos. After the Eddie promo, I’d much rather him win. Santana is coming off more and more like a dick. The underdog swagger is gone and replaced with some kind of entitled douche energy. I know Santana will probably retain, but I’m really souring on how he’s being written.

Let’s hope Rebellion is a surprising Saturday.
