Athena Draws Five Challengers for ROH Survival of the Fittest at Supercard of Honor

Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion Athena will defend her title in a six-woman Survival of the Fittest match on the May 15 Supercard of Honor streaming special, after qualifiers on ROH TV finalized the field. Athena will face Billie Starkz, Maya World, CMLL’s Persephone, Trish Adora and Yuka Sakazaki — each vying for their first ROH Women’s World Championship as the “forever champion” seeks to extend a reign of more than 1,200 days.

Qualifying bouts that aired on ROH TV saw Starkz defeat Lacey Lane, Sakazaki beat Viva Van, Adora top Hyan, Persephone overcome Isla Dawn and Maya World best Robyn Renegade to earn their spots. The Supercard of Honor card also features ROH World Champion Bandido vs. Blake Christian, Nigel McGuinness vs. Josh Woods in a Pure rules match, and ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo defending against Diamante.
