Becky Lynch Praises MJF as “Just the Sweetest Boy” After Happy Gilmore 2
Becky Lynch is singing MJF’s praises after working with him on Netflix’s Happy Gilmore sequel, telling Vulture she expected his on-screen persona to carry over but found the former AEW World Champion “just the sweetest boy.” Lynch plays an Irish golfer named Flex in the film while MJF appears as one of Happy Gilmore’s sons, and she said they bonded instantly, calling him a “fantastic little speaker and actor” with a bright future.
Outside of the movie, Lynch is slated to challenge AJ Lee for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on night one of WrestleMania 42, while MJF is coming off a loss of the AEW World Championship to Darby Allin on Dynamite in Everett, Washington.
