Bully Ray Urges Tony Khan to Sign Released WWE Star Zoey Stark
Bully Ray told listeners on Busted Open Radio that All Elite Wrestling should be ready to sign Zoey Stark once her 90-day WWE non‑compete expires, arguing the company could immediately turn sympathy for her release into heat on WWE by handing her a microphone and letting her tell her story. Ray called Stark a solid in‑ring performer who would be an asset to AEW’s women’s division and said the move would be an easy, high‑impact addition for Tony Khan.
Stark suffered a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus during a May 19, 2025 episode of RAW and, according to reports, had only recently been cleared before WWE announced her release on April 24, 2026; as a main‑roster release she would be subject to a 90‑day non‑compete, meaning a potential AEW debut wouldn’t be possible until late July 2026 at the earliest. There has been no official word from AEW or Stark about any deal — Bully Ray was offering a public pitch rather than reporting a signing.
