Chris Jericho Spotted Filming Dexter: Resurrection Season Two in New York
Photos published Thursday by Jose Perez show Chris Jericho on set in New York filming alongside Dexter star Michael C. Hall, and PWInsider previously reported Jericho would miss AEW Dynamite to work on a television project. While his exact role has not been confirmed, DexterDaily.com has speculated from set photos that he may appear as a one-episode antagonist.
No official details have been released about Jericho’s character or episode involvement, and it’s unclear when he will return to AEW — he is not advertised for this Saturday’s Collision. Dexter: Resurrection, which premiered July 11, 2025, is currently in production on its second season as Hall reprises the role of Dexter Morgan.

Jim Ross: Aleister Black “Not Happy” in AEW, But “Bridge Not Burned”
Aleister Black was one of the more surprising departures from WWE last Friday, especially given his regular television presence and recent feuds with Damian Priest and Randy Orton. Black had returned to WWE in 2025 after a run with AEW that began in 2021.
Speaking on Grilling JR, veteran announcer Jim Ross said he didn’t think Black was entirely happy during his time in AEW, but added he didn’t believe the relationship was beyond repair or that the bridge had been burned.

Jim Ross on Becoming an Active Wrestler: “Shit, No”
Jim Ross, widely regarded as one of the greatest announcers in wrestling history, has occasionally gotten physical in the ring over his decades-long career. When asked whether he ever considered transitioning to an active in-ring role, Ross was blunt: “Shit, no.”
Despite a handful of memorable physical moments, Ross has consistently embraced his role behind the microphone, crafting legendary calls and shaping the presentation of professional wrestling. His comments reinforce that his passion and legacy remain tied to commentary rather than competing as an active wrestler.
