CM Punk: Danhausen “Perfect for WWE,” Impact “Has Yet to Be Felt”
CM Punk praised Danhausen during an appearance on ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike, calling the quirky performer “perfect for WWE” and saying his impact “has yet to be felt,” describing him as a throwback gimmick who can thrive in any situation. Punk added he hopes he said enough nice things that Danhausen won’t “curse” him, underscoring the mutual respect between the two.
Danhausen recently made a notable SmackDown cameo during The Miz and Maryse’s vow renewal segment, and Punk — who headlines WrestleMania night two — is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns.
