CMLL’s Slamfest in Las Vegas Sees Late Main-Event Change; Persephone Retains
CMLL presented its first full international show at the Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a late card change that turned the advertised Mistico vs. Hechicero singles main event into a tag match: Mistico teamed with Templario to face Hechicero and Angel de Oro. The stacked lineup also included Claudio Castagnoli vs. Atlantis Jr., Blue Panther vs. Ultimo Guerrero, Mascara Dorada & Neon vs. Capitan Suicida & Flip Gordon, and Chamuel & Tengu vs. Kemalito & Periquito Sacaryas.
Early results saw Kemalito & Periquito Sacaryas pick up a win over Chamuel & Tengu after a momentum-shifting comeback, while Persephone retained the CMLL World Women’s Championship by defeating Tessa Blanchard with a Crucifix Bomb. The event blended traditional lucha libre stars with international names, highlighting CMLL’s expanding global reach.
