Dave Meltzer Reacts to The Rock’s Absence from WrestleMania 42
Dave Meltzer weighed in on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson not being scheduled to appear at WrestleMania 42, calling the omission notable given Johnson’s long history with the event. Meltzer suggested the absence could be tied to the star’s busy film commitments and WWE’s current creative direction.
He added that while The Rock’s non-appearance removes a headline attraction, it doesn’t necessarily close the door on a future return, and WWE still has other marquee names to build the show around. Fans and insiders will be watching the lead-up to WrestleMania for any sign that Johnson might ultimately be added to the card.
