ESPN Unlimited will carry WWE NXT weekly TV and PLEs after CW deal
ESPN and The CW have reached an agreement to make live sports that air on The CW available to ESPN Unlimited subscribers, bringing WWE NXT’s weekly television show and premium live events into the ESPN app. The move, announced Wednesday, also covers college football and basketball, auto racing and other live sports currently carried by The CW.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and it remains unclear whether The CW will continue offering live sports through its own app even as programming continues to air on the broadcast network in more than 120 million homes. The arrangement builds on the five-year WWE/CW partnership that began in October 2024 and expands the slate to 20 PLEs, including Stand and Deliver, Deadline and Vengeance Day.
