Giulia to Defend WWE Women’s U.S. Title in Rematch with Tiffany Stratton

Giulia will put the WWE Women’s United States Championship on the line in a rematch with Tiffany Stratton, renewing their rivalry from late March. It will be just the second defense of Giulia’s reign that began in January and her first title defense in more than three months after she defeated Stratton in a non-title SmackDown match last month.

Stratton earned the title shot by defeating Jordynne Grace in a SmackDown eliminator, finishing with a handspring stunner and the Prettiest Moonsault Ever while Giulia and Kiana James watched at ringside. The former NXT Women’s Champion is chasing her first Women’s U.S. Title and her first championship run since losing the WWE Women’s Title to Jade Cargill last November; no date has been announced, though the match could be revealed on next week’s SmackDown.
