Goto & YOSHI-HASHI Challenge OSKAR & Yuto-Ice for IWGP Tag Team Titles at Wrestling Redzone
Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI have earned a shot at the IWGP Tag Team Championship, defeating HENARE and Great-O-Khan in a number one contender’s match to set up a title clash with champions OSKAR & Yuto-Ice at NJPW Wrestling Redzone this Saturday, April 25. After sending HENARE out of the ring, Goto hit a Shoto on O-Khan for the pin, and a post-match face-off framed the bout as a meeting between one of the most dominant teams of the early 2020s and the division’s current standard-bearers.
Goto and YOSHI-HASHI will be chasing a fifth IWGP Tag Team reign when Wrestling Redzone airs live on NJPW World; the card also features IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champions Taiji Ishimori & Robbie X defending against Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles plus several multi-man tag matches, including Shingo Takagi, Yota Tsuji, Gedo & Daiki Nagai vs. Callum Newman, Jake Lee, Jakob Austin Young & Zane Jay. Wrestling Redzone is one of NJPW’s final stops before Wrestling Dontaku 2026 and includes two title defenses on the card.
