Jim Ross Provides Health Update, Expects AEW Return Next Month

Legendary commentator Jim Ross told fans on his Grilling with JR podcast that he’s feeling much better and hopes to resume a more regular AEW announce schedule soon, though he will miss Dynasty and the upcoming Vancouver trip due to travel-related leg issues. Ross cited difficulty with long flights and cramping as the main reason for postponing that appearance, but emphasized he is “feeling better every day” and believes a return is likely next month.

Ross has missed extended time in recent years while battling serious health problems, including skin and colon cancer, which he said he is now free of as of last June. Speaking candidly with Conrad Thompson, Ross admitted he didn’t fully realize how ill he had been, but expressed optimism about his recovery and getting back behind the AEW booth in the near future.
