Former WWE star Kairi Sane has seemingly rejected recent reports claiming her WWE release was due to her wanting to return to Japan. Sane pushed back on that narrative, suggesting the reasons for her departure have been mischaracterized by outside speculation.
The clarification comes amid ongoing discussion about her post-WWE plans and the circumstances surrounding her release. Fans and industry observers will be watching for any further statements from Sane or her representatives to shed more light on the matter.

wXw alleges TrillerTV has delayed payments since October, says company stopped responding
AEW recently filed a lawsuit against TrillerTV over alleged overdue payments, and now Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) says it has experienced similar issues. wXw wrote under an Instagram post that TrillerTV has been delaying payments since last October and has stopped responding to their emails.
The claim adds to growing concern among promotions and talent about TrillerTV’s payment practices and business communications. With AEW pursuing legal action and wXw going public, pressure is mounting for TrillerTV to address outstanding obligations and provide clarity to its partners.

Ronda Rousey says her final WWE match was a “big middle finger” to fans
Ronda Rousey, who departed WWE in 2023 and is slated to return to the cage against Gina Carano on May 16, reflected on her send-off match with Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam 2023. That bout, contested under MMA Rules, marked Rousey’s final WWE appearance and has continued to spark conversation among fans and pundits.
Speaking with ClutchPoints, Rousey framed the MMA Rules match as a deliberate, defiant statement — essentially a “big middle finger” to critics and anyone who doubted her direction. She suggested the unconventional finish and stipulation were chosen so she could leave on her own terms and control the narrative of her WWE exit.
