Kaisei Takechi Diagnosed with Acute Appendicitis, Withdrawn from 2026 KING OF DDT
DDT Pro-Wrestling announced that Kaisei Takechi has been diagnosed with acute appendicitis after seeking medical attention for abdominal pain, issuing two statements to confirm the diagnosis and medical evaluation. The promotion said Takechi is receiving treatment and will be focusing on his recovery.
As a result of the diagnosis, Takechi will not compete in the 2026 KING OF DDT tournament, and DDT has not provided a timeline for his return to the ring. The promotion’s follow-up statement reiterated its support for Takechi and concern for his health and recovery.
