Kenny Omega Explains Why TNA Pulled Its Wrestlers From Matches Against AEW Talent
Kenny Omega addressed the recent controversy surrounding TNA’s decision to pull its wrestlers from scheduled matches against AEW talent, saying the move should be viewed through a business lens rather than as a personal slight. The situation sparked debate among fans and wrestlers alike, and Omega’s comments aimed to clarify the circumstances behind the split.
Omega explained that the decision was driven by contractual, logistical and promotional considerations as TNA looks to protect its roster and long-term relationships. While acknowledging the disappointment it caused, he framed the choice as a strategic one and expressed hope that cross-promotional cooperation can be revisited under clearer terms in the future.
