Kenny Omega Explains Why TNA Pulled Its Wrestlers From Matches Against AEW Talent
Kenny Omega addressed the recent controversy surrounding TNA’s decision to pull its wrestlers from scheduled matches against AEW talent, saying the move should be viewed through a business lens rather than as a personal slight. The situation sparked debate among fans and wrestlers alike, and Omega’s comments aimed to clarify the circumstances behind the split.
Omega explained that the decision was driven by contractual, logistical and promotional considerations as TNA looks to protect its roster and long-term relationships. While acknowledging the disappointment it caused, he framed the choice as a strategic one and expressed hope that cross-promotional cooperation can be revisited under clearer terms in the future.

Anthony Bowens Says His Singles Run Still Has “Unfinished Business”
Anthony Bowens told the Battleground podcast that his singles career in AEW isn’t over, saying there is still “unfinished business” to settle. The comments come after a major shift in his trajectory on the April 25 episode of AEW Collision, when Bowens was officially welcomed into The Opps alongside Samoa Joe and HOOK.
While joining The Opps marks a new chapter in Bowens’ career, he made clear in the interview that he hasn’t closed the door on solo ambitions and sees more to accomplish as a singles competitor. Fans will be watching to see how Bowens balances his role in the faction with the lingering goals he hinted at pursuing on his own.
