Kevin Knight Retains TNT Title, Beats MJF at His Own Game on Dynamite
Kevin Knight is still the TNT Champion after getting the better of MJF in the opening match of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. The champion turned the tables on MJF, using the challenger’s own tactics to secure the victory and walk out with the title intact.
The win bolsters Knight’s momentum and escalates the tension in the rivalry, leaving MJF seeking answers after the high-profile defeat. Expect the fallout from this contest to influence upcoming AEW storylines and potential rematches.

Tony Schiavone Calls Nigel McGuinness “Best Color Analyst” He’s Worked With
On the latest What Happened When podcast, AEW commentator Nigel McGuinness joined Tony Schiavone and Conrad Thompson to revisit classic Bryan Danielson matches, largely remaining in character and delivering sharp critiques of the American Dragon. McGuinness even joked about Danielson and the Wrestling Observer Awards while maintaining his abrasive persona throughout the discussion.
Schiavone heaped praise on his broadcast partner, saying, “Nigel is probably the best color analyst I’ve ever worked with,” and noting that McGuinness is always prepared and reliable with storylines and notes — a quality Schiavone says he leans on in the booth. The glowing endorsement underscores McGuinness’s growing reputation as a top analyst in AEW.
