Krule Issues Statement After Berwyn Eagles Hall Altercation

Matthew “Krule” Waters addressed the controversy stemming from a March confrontation with a fan at a Ruthless Pro event that prompted Berwyn Eagles Hall to stop hosting wrestling shows. Krule acknowledged he reacted by throwing a punch after “several incidents” with the fan, said he sustained a side injury that was treated in the locker room, and disputed reports that he had been stabbed, saying he does not know how the injury occurred.

Krule said he cooperated with law enforcement but declined to pursue an investigation, believing he likely fell during the altercation, and expressed remorse for his actions. He accepted full responsibility, apologized to wrestlers, fans and promotions affected by the incident, and said he will reflect and move forward professionally.
