Leila Grey Offers Positive ACL Recovery Update, Praises Mercedes Mone’s Support
Leila Grey says she is healing well after undergoing surgery for a torn ACL suffered in December, reporting that her physical therapy is ahead of schedule and she’s staying positive about making a strong comeback. Grey told fans during a virtual signing that the process is long but progressing, and she’s eager to return to the ring after missing time and the daily grind of wrestling.
The injury occurred on the December 6, 2025 episode of AEW Collision during her TBS Championship match with Mercedes Mone, and Grey confirmed Mone stayed by her side through the immediate recovery period. A former member of SkyFlight, Grey has no confirmed return timeline but stressed she’s focused on rehab and getting back stronger.
