Lola Vice praised by Damian Priest after NXT Stand & Deliver title win
At NXT Stand & Deliver 2026 Lola Vice defeated Jacey Jane and Kendal Grey to capture the NXT Women’s Championship, and in a recent interview with Gabby AF Damian Priest — Vice’s real-life partner — praised her persistence and revealed the advice he gave her: “just keep doing what you’re doing,” while warning that the real work begins once the spotlight is on you. Priest said her win is the payoff for staying the course and that she’ll need to prove herself even more now that she’s a champion.
Priest also noted Vice’s February 2025 AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship run with Mr. Iguana, calling her a “double champ” and one of the faces of both AAA and NXT. He lauded her transformation from MMA fighter to WWE superstar, praising her drive, training regimen and commitment to studying the business while saying her success inspires him to work harder and that she truly earned the moment.
