Luca Crusifino Announces Retirement Following WWE Release
Luca Crusifino (Roman Macek) announced his retirement from professional wrestling after being named among nearly 20 WWE talents released on Friday. In a message on X he thanked fans, coaches and colleagues for four “unforgettable” years, called the decision difficult but right, and closed by saying this isn’t goodbye — adding a lighthearted note that he’s not joining OnlyFans.
Crusifino signed with WWE in 2022 and made his NXT debut in 2023, spending time as a member of Tony D’Angelo’s D’Angelo Family through July 2025; his final match came March 20 on Evolve, teaming with Tate Wilder against Harley Riggins and Kam Hendrix. He said he’s grateful for the friendships and lessons from the Performance Center as he steps away to begin the next chapter of his life.
