Myles Borne Says Randy Orton Advised Him to “Protect Yourself” for a Long WWE Career
Myles Borne told No Contest Wrestling that Randy Orton has been a key influence, advising him to “protect yourself” to ensure a long in-ring career after dealing with back issues. Borne said he studied Orton’s movement and adopted parts of his style to navigate his early WWE years and avoid further injury.
Borne, who signed with WWE in 2022 and debuted on NXT that July, credited Orton as a “foundational block” while stressing he’s now carving out his own identity after winning the NXT North American Championship in February 2026. The two have often drawn comparisons for their similar build and in-ring agility as Borne continues his climb in WWE.
