Nick Khan: WrestleMania 43 Still Planned for Saudi Arabia Despite Middle East Conflict
WWE president Nick Khan told attendees at the SBJ CAA World Congress of Sports that the company is planning to hold WrestleMania next year in Saudi Arabia, marking the first time the event will be outside the United States or Canada. Khan downplayed criticism of the Saudi partnership as a “vocal minority,” reiterating that WWE decisions are driven by ratings, revenue and relevancy, and noted the company has had a “big, fruitful partnership” with the kingdom; a separate Saudi premium live event reportedly planned for June is among three PLEs scheduled there in 2026.
Khan also addressed ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, acknowledging they’ve been slower than last year but saying WWE is “feeling good” and expects figures to come close to recent records. He pointed to a strong secondary market, saying “the marketplace dictates the ticket price” and that lower-priced tickets are frequently resold at higher rates, underscoring ongoing consumer demand.
