Paige Targets Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber After WWE Return

Speaking on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, Paige said she wants to compete in the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and other stipulation matches that weren’t around during her first WWE run. She recalled being backstage in Gorilla when the inaugural women’s Royal Rumble took place in January 2018 — after a 2017 neck injury forced her into retirement — calling the experience “bittersweet.”

Now cleared to wrestle and back in WWE after nearly four years, Paige said her neck is good and she’s excited for the opportunities ahead. The British star has already captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Brie Bella at WrestleMania 42 and says she’s looking forward to competing in those marquee stipulation matches over the next couple of years.
