Paul Heyman Open to Managing Jade Cargill — But Wants Her to Build Her Own Legacy First

Speaking on The Stephen A. Smith Show, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman said he would be open to managing Jade Cargill but stressed he wants her to establish herself independently first. Heyman praised Cargill’s momentum as Women’s Champion and said he wants her accomplishments to be “solidified into the history books” so any future alliance would read as two superpowers joining rather than him being credited with creating her star.

Cargill has previously expressed interest in Heyman as a manager, and Heyman reiterated that he doesn’t want his involvement to be viewed as the moment she becomes a star. The timing of any partnership, he said, should come after she’s fully accepted by the public — a build Cargill will continue as she prepares to defend her Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42.
