Fightful Select reports that Randy Orton was heavily considered to win the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania 42, a creative direction that ultimately was not taken. Orton instead competed in the WrestleMania 42 main event against Cody Rhodes and came up short, leaving Rhodes with the championship while Orton missed the opportunity to capture the top prize.
