Ric Flair Clarifies Comments on Charlotte Flair’s WrestleMania 42 Match
Ric Flair issued a statement after his interview with Ariel Helwani, saying he is “more than thrilled” to see Charlotte Flair team with Alexa Bliss and that he’s “never seen her happier.” Flair reiterated that he enjoys watching Charlotte in singles competition because it allows her to showcase more of her talent, and asked media and critics to refrain from misrepresenting or judging his daughters.
Flair’s Helwani appearance also covered why he has been barred from recent WrestleManias, claiming he threatened Ludwig Kaiser over comments about Charlotte before WrestleMania 41 and that Kaiser spoke with Triple H, resulting in his exclusion. He added that Dennis Rodman asked him to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, but Flair says he received no response from WWE; his full social post was shared publicly.
