Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania 42 Win Over CM Punk Nearly Had a Different Ending
Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk in the main event of WWE WrestleMania 42, closing out the show in one of the night’s most talked-about matches. The victory further solidified Reigns’ position at the top of WWE’s card.
Reports now indicate the match could have had a very different ending, with WWE considering an alternate finish that would have seen CM Punk retain his standing instead. The revelation adds new intrigue to the planning and decision-making behind WrestleMania’s main event.
