Roots of Fight Teases WWE Deal After Ric Flair Removal

Roots of Fight has hinted it will soon announce a partnership with WWE after removing Ric Flair from its roster, a move that aligns with the fact Flair is under contract with AEW. The apparel brand already produces merchandise for WWE-related stars and legends — including CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Bret Hart and Randy Savage — and posted a teaser this week promoting an upcoming WWE deal.

Flair initially reacted angrily, accusing WWE of trying to “destroy” his legacy, but reversed course the next day and thanked Roots of Fight, calling the decision a business move and saying he was “not even mad” anymore. The potential Roots-WWE tie-in would join other WWE merchandising partnerships handled through Fanatics, such as Drake’s OVO and Erin Andrews’ WEAR, while Roots continues to market clothing honoring sports and wrestling icons.
