Ryan Clancy Out Indefinitely After Torn ACL and Medial Meniscus, Relinquishes Wrestling Open Title
Ryan Clancy has been forced out of action indefinitely after suffering a torn ACL and medial meniscus, the wrestler announced on social media after relinquishing the Wrestling Open Championship at Monday’s Wrestling Open. Clancy confirmed the injuries will keep him sidelined for the foreseeable future.
In his post Clancy said he was “extremely heartbroken & tormented” by the setback. With the Wrestling Open Championship vacated, promoters will need to determine next steps while Clancy begins his recovery.
