Santos Escobar Nearly Joined CMLL Before Re-Signing with WWE
Fightful Select reports that Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) expected Santos Escobar to join the promotion before he re-signed with WWE in October. Sources familiar with the situation told Fightful Select that talks between Escobar and CMLL were underway prior to his WWE deal, and those sources now expect the conversations to resume.
