Santos Escobar to Undergo Second Surgery After Ulnar Nerve Complication
Santos Escobar announced he will need follow-up surgery after complications arose from the tricep procedure he underwent in March, saying a problem with the ulnar nerve in his arm must be corrected. In a social media update the WWE star called it “a minor hiccup” but confirmed he’ll return to the operating room, lamenting that the issue will keep him from attending WrestleMania week.
Escobar suffered the injury following his appearance at AAA Rey de Reyes on March 14, where he competed in a four-way match; reports indicated a torn tricep that required surgery and initially projected a multi-month recovery. The need for additional surgery on the ulnar nerve will further delay his return to in-ring action and extend the previously announced recovery timeline.
