Scarlett Bordeaux says she went “numb” after WrestleMania 40 spot was pulled

Scarlett Bordeaux revealed she and husband Karrion Kross were originally slated to wrestle at WrestleMania 40 in the Philadelphia Street Fight — with Bordeaux and B-Fab set to compete in the tag team beatdown between The Pride and The Final Testament — but were removed at the last minute. Bordeaux said she cried when they first learned of the plan, feared getting excited only to have it taken away, and ultimately went “numb” when the opportunity was scrapped; she noted Kross and Bobby Lashley fought to have her and B-Fab included and that the company never explained the decision, though they still got a memorable table spot on the card.

Bordeaux praised Chelsea Green’s willingness to fight for her rights and admitted she perhaps should have pushed harder for the role, but said she’s grateful for her time in WWE and the ability to continue performing elsewhere. Kross wrestled his last WWE match at SummerSlam 2025 and his contract expired in August; during negotiations he was reportedly offered an extension while Bordeaux was not, a situation that contributed to their departure from the company.
